During my trip to Berlin, I was looking for a good wine bar — and I couldn’t have found a better surprise. The atmosphere at Freundschaft is intimate and welcoming, with a real sense of warmth. The staff truly know their wines and have a great passion for sharing their knowledge. Both ladies behind the bar had wonderful smiles, and the gentleman went above and beyond — he even opened a bottle that wasn’t on the list just to please me. He immediately understood what I was looking for, and as a result, I ended up having more glasses than I had planned! That’s what happens when a sommelier truly hits the spot. The food was excellent — flavours beautifully balanced and the ham especially stood out for its authenticity. It was a little too spicy for my taste, but that’s just a personal note. The wine list is impressive, and the selection by the glass is simply stunning, ranging from prestigious Champagne cuvées to local gems. A memorable evening — one of those rare places where passion, hospitality, and taste come together perfectly.

I had the pleasure visiting in June 2025. I was with a friend who was local. I didn’t leave with any disappointment. Even though it was full (Friday night) they were very attentive. The food and the wine were wonderful.

We visited and had a drink in our last night stay in Berlin. loved the vibe and appreciated the nice art pieces in the bar. The wine they reco was amazing. also offer non alcoholic wine. Amazed by them serving with Zalto glasses which is very fine. It was a great experience and wonderful night

Love it! Came for the wines and was blown by the food! Make sure you get a little something together with your bottle! Love the ambient design of the whole place

Was there by myself and the staff made me feel very welcome! Great wine, cool interior, luxurious glasses. Good hospitality with competent and humble staff!

In short, this is an amazing wine bar. Most important, the wine list. Well curated, with dozens of great choices. Prieuré Roch, anyone? The two of us ordered a handful of dishes from the menu. From bread and butter to devilled eggs, from asparagus with kimchi to hearty dumplings, all was spot on. Cool vibe and location but not as rowdy as Cordobar used to be. But hey we all grow older so that's just fine!

Very sophisticated without being snobby. If you want somewhere to go that is chilled but not intense in the evening- this is it. Only drank here.

Very very expensive for NO reason. I ordered a glass of wine which price was almost equal like ordering a bottle! Polite barman kept asking if I would drink anything else. We ordered a dish with variety of cheese .....that actually had just one kind of cheese. Music could not be heard at all. Nice idea the minimal wooden bar in the center

Very nice place, hidden, with an extraordinary wine list and very well trained staff. A must if you like wine and great atmosphere.

Great ambience and fun/helpful staff. The somms have a solid wine list by the bottle and some by the glass, but prices by the bottle seem to be around 2-3x lowest North American price on Wine-Searcher for old world wine. Glassware is Zalto :) We had a few glasses and left.
