FRGMNT Coffee - North Loop

This FRGMNT location is beautiful. The space is very open and inviting, just like all their other locations, with plenty of different seating options so everyone can get comfortable. The interior design is stunning and the fireplace adds a cozy touch. It's always packed no matter the time of day, which shows how popular it is. Unfortunately, the coffee has been consistently disappointing for me. For such a great space, the drinks just don't match the atmosphere. Service has also been a letdown. It feels rushed and transactional, and the staff does not come across as very friendly or welcoming, which takes away from the experience. They do have a nice selection of baked goods, including Cardigan Donuts, which is a plus. Parking is typical for the North Loop. It can be a bit difficult to find right nearby, but there are plenty of options if you're willing to walk a few blocks. Overall, it's a gorgeous space and a great place to meet up or sit for a bit, but the coffee quality and service are what hold this location back for me which is sad because I love other FRGMT locations.

Overall it was good, the space is visually appealing, but there is a loud buzz that makes me wonder if I am going insane. They forgot one coffee. They used the wrong milk and more. Still worth going to... test your sanity with milk roulette.

Ordered a 10oz vanilla latte with almond milk, and it was amazing! The flavor was perfectly balanced and smooth. I love discovering new coffee shops around the area, and this is definitely one I’ll be coming back to — excited to try more from their menu!

Best matcha I have ever had I don’t even like matcha went to 3 other shops around and came back 10/10

There’s no phone number listed so I can’t call and talk to someone about my experience. I rarely leave reviews for poor experiences, however this needs to be said: This morning I went to get coffee, hot chocolate and doughnuts for my son’s birthday. Grateful that there’s a place close to me who has fresh doughnuts and was open early - except at 7am, no doughnuts had arrived for the day yet, so I ordered my two coffees, a chai latte and a kids hot chocolate. I was rung up incorrectly and had to ask if they had heard me say chai tea latte, not just a chai tea. They said it would be a latte even though they chose chai tea on the register. By the time I got home everything was cold, my son’s hot chocolate was mostly milk and he didn’t like it or drink it. Then I reheated and finished my regular coffee, only to find what I hope was a piece of caramelized onion in the bottom of my cup - at least that’s what I’m telling myself it was. It was stinky and slimy. And to think I left a tip for the subpar service and disgusting drinks. If you decide to frequent this location of FRGMNT, know that the only warmth and sweetness you’ll experience is if you order a cup of hot water, add your own honey and sit by the fireplace.

Tried some of their limited item coffees so not sure how long those will be there. The FRGMNT fog was very good! My wife tried the cinnamon roll drink which is similar to a latte. I personally like the Frgmnt fog better but would recommend both! Tons of pastries to choose from, we had the Apple poptart which would recommend to have heated up! Was amazing! Atmosphere is very nice and cozy. Very big open space and tons of seating. Doesn't feel very packed! Also appears to be pet friendly because people brought their pups in!

One of my favorite coffee shop in the world! The barista can really make an amazing cup of cappuccino and they have great pastries too. Ample seating. I asked the barista the 2nd time if she could make me a flat white which I don't recall seeing on the menu and she nailed it! Can't wait to return to MN for this coffee!

Cool architecture and location. Great area to work with lots of space and outlets. Coffee is good, croissants could use work. Very good service; personable and fast. Overall I highly recommend.
