Frida's Mexican Bar & Grill - Review - Fayetteville - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"With Spanish music loud enough to get people swaying in their booths and murals of Frida Kahlo watching over the room, Frida’s in Fayetteville feels like a good time the second you walk in. The Mexican food is all shareable, so it’s a good place to come with friends who order a round of margaritas before anyone opens the menu, pass tacos across the table, and sing along to the playlist all the while. Standout dishes include the Frida’s Texas Alambres, skewers piled with juicy chicken, steak, and shrimp, dusted in paprika, or the whole fried fish with snappy skin. This place does meat especially well, like carne asada tacos on tortillas sturdy enough to hold together, but soft enough to tear apart with your teeth." - Jacinta Howard

This place is absolutely intoxicatingly great from the food to the elaborate picture worthy drinks. The servers are attentive and kind, even the managers check in on you. My favorite was the grill lamb chops, steak, shrimp & chicken served hanging above a bed of grilled bell peppers & onions. The drinks is soo good make sure you drink responsibly.

This was my second time at Frida’s. The first at their new location. They did not disappoint either time. I highly recommend the Kahlo tacos and just about everything else on their menu. It’s a BIG menu. The drink is a White Hennessy margarita. Will go back whenever I return to Atlanta without hesitation. It is worth the drive every time.

This place is amazing!!! Everything was excellent! 10/10. Food was delicious and hot! The food came out fast and when there was broccoli and zucchini missing from my soup, they rushed to the kitchen to grab some for me. Customer service is amazing, even my to go food was bagged for me. Now a days you just do not find places like this. I am in love and even though I stay in Greensboro, I will return. Thank you so much! You all are amazing! Oh the decor is beautiful, fits the atmosphere perfectly. Also very clean .

I enjoyed coming to this location. The food came out fast. There were so many different options. Very fresh ingredients. The restaurant had a live band they played so well. The waitress was so accommodating. The music inside was loud and overwhelming so we asked to sit on the patio but the speaker was even louder. So we asked her to turn it down and she turned it off for us. The drinks were sooo yummy. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

My husband and I ate there this afternoon for the 1st time. There was a fairly big group and we were warned ahead of time it could take longer because of it. Ok. We were understanding having previously been in food service ourselves years ago. BUT, when all the tables around you came in after you, but get their meals BEFORE you, that's a problem! The chips were stale. My husband's Huevos Rancheros were overcooked. My Ribeye Steak Veracruze was ordered med rare, but came out well done and dry, bacon wrapped shrimp were overdone and dry as well as the bacon. It was not a pleasant experience and do not feel it was worth what we paid. The flavors were very good though. It was busy and very noisy making it hard to talk. We will not return.

My husband and I visited Frieda's for Lunch to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. He's in a wheelchair and the staff assisted us. The atmosphere was good there was a large party there a little loud, so we sat in the corner. Lupe our server was great. The food was Amazing with very large portions. My husband got steak fajitas, and I got the salmon salad both were 10/10.

Food was seasoned 🤌🏽🤌🏽, great presentation, salsa was delicious fresh and u can taste the fresh cilantro. Cheese dip was good. Chips crispy non greasy. We had a party of 8. Food came out fast. Server David was attentive and great 👍🏽 and the rest of staff was also friendly and welcoming!! We left the restaurant full! We even had leftovers . Appetizers- Hot Wings & fries were crispy. Wings were meaty, juicy & delicious too. Fajita, Tacos , Taquitos, Quesadillas, Birria Tacos and my Texas Malcajete was seasoned, moist and delicious. Margarita was great too! Food was Great portions and lots of meat in each dish! Everyone loved their dishes at our table 👏🏽 Music was good too but a bit too loud, we had a hard time hearing each other. It didn't ruin our night though. Give Fridas a try! Great Ambiance, and great score for health inspection 💯 A+. Can wait to go back! Ty Fridas!!

Google
Amazing!!!!! Our Anniversary dinner was perfect! The food EVERYTHING so good. We couldn’t stop eating the salsa.. The margaritas very good … Lava Lamb bowl I just wanted to drink the sauce. The cheese on the side I didn’t think I would like …it was a great addition. My husband enjoyed his Enchiladas and tacos so good! Not to mention the service was perfect I like how the entire staff works as a team.Terna was great she made sure that we had everything that we needed. This made everything so great, thank you! We found our new spot down the street from our home excited..

Yelp
Tried Frida's in Fayetteville after hearing a lot of hype. The vibe was unexpected with loud rap music and people twerking, not what I pictured for a Mexican spot. The food came out all at once, drinks, appetizers, and entrées all hit the table at the same time. The food was average, the queso was super watery, drinks flavorless. Shoutout to our waitress, she was great and checked in often. Now for the issue: I found a FLY in the ice of my margarita pitcher. The manager tried to say it was a "seed" from honey used in grenadine... until I asked her to grab a spoon and check. Yes, it was a fly. She replaced it and said she wouldn't charge for that one, but I wasn't looking for anything free, we just wanted a good experience. Between the club like atmosphere, the subpar food, and the fly situation, I definitely won't be back.

Yelp
This was a take out order. I ordered shrimp and salmon with seasoned rice and black beans. My husband had the Texas fajita dinner. The food was seasoned so well and it was delicious. I didn't eat all of my dinner, but the plates are enough for two to share. We're stuffed. We haven't been here in a while, so I'm glad we decided to order from here. We will be back, soon. :-)

Yelp
Frida's is a bit of a mixed bag. The food is fine -- definitely some different offerings from what you'd expect at a typical Mexican restaurant, but the quality is pretty average overall. Nothing bad, but nothing that wowed me either. The drinks, on the other hand, are absolutely worth coming for. They're reasonably priced, come in a wide variety of sizes, and are the real highlight here. My ideal visit would be grabbing a couple of drinks and some queso before heading elsewhere for dinner. On weekends, the energy picks up with a wonderful DJ on Fridays and Saturdays, which makes for a fun vibe if you're here to hang out more than to dine. Parking is free (always a plus), but spots are limited, so plan to arrive a little early. All in all, Frida's is more of a drinks-and-music spot than a go-to dining destination -- but for that purpose, it does the job.

Yelp
Hubby and I had dinner at Frida's for the first time last night--and we clearly picked the right night because it was karaoke night. Great vibes and a fun crowd. We were seated right away, and the service was on point the whole time. I had fried shrimp tacos--crispy, flavorful, and totally hit the spot. Hubby went with the steak fajitas and gave them two thumbs up. I treated myself to a 12 oz. strawberry Hennessy margarita (because... balance), and he had the pineapple margarita. Both drinks were tasty but a little on the "juice box" side if you catch my drift. Overall, a fun night out with great food, strong service, and karaoke entertainment. I would return (but next time, maybe ask for a heavier pour ).

Yelp
Parking: Ample Food/Drinks: Great. Drinks were good and strong Went during the day, I sense it's chill spot on the weekends. They have very cute serving options for drinks. Several towers even the giraffe ones. Also large shareable bowl glasses. I'll be back with a designated driver. Because they one drink I had was perfection. Bartender was awesome. It's a pretty large space and bar. Go enjoy!

Yelp
Well, we waited about a month to come here even though I didn't get a chance to go to the old location where the valet parking was mandatory Here is what we really liked. The food was really good. The drinks were fantastic. So here's the other side of my review I have yet to walking to any restaurant in Peachtree city and also Fayetteville and have an armed guard at the front door I'm curious why the management puts an armed security person at the front door with a Glock? We tried to eat here last Saturday and the music was way too loud to be able to hear anything you were saying to the people at your dinner table Perhaps this restaurant isn't looking for calm and quiet meals and maybe it's more of a party environment even tonight on Thursday they had a DJ playing music and we wanted to be moved furthest away from the speaker system Obviously, this isn't a place for a good Mexican meal and conversation at your table unless you're willing to raise your voice and lose your inside voice In addition last Saturday, we arrived at 7:30 and we're told we didn't have to valet our car. They weren't accepting valet service anymore and we were forced to wait in line to find that out for almost 20 minutes along with several other people. It was at least 90 minutes before closing if not longer We really enjoyed our server Trisha but the ambient noise is much too loud for her liking. We're kind of the quiet dining clientele. We don't require loud music, blasting or eardrums taking away from a great meal. I'm sure there are plenty of other options between the Twin Cities here if you're looking for the quiet meal with good food, again the food was very good, but we tend to like to relax while we're eating our food and not need all the stimulation

Yelp
I went to Frida's yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a great time. Upon arrival, the parking lot was full but luckily I found one spot close to the door. But if you are going on a Saturday afternoon be prepared for it to be crowded. Also, parking is free. When I went in the restaurant, it was PACKED! Luckily, my friends had already arrived and had a table. But I noticed the family that walked in before me was not seated for a long time. Out waited Osmar was great and funny. Despite it being super busy, he was able to remember my order without writing it down and serving us well. The space is decorated nicely. I loved the art touches center Frida Kahlo. The only thing is that they need a curtain blocking the front window for when the sun starts to set. I order an enchiladas meal which was DELICIOUS! It was so good! Only thing is I wish I had a little more rice to go with the enchiladas. And my margarita was great as well. The food came out so fast that I thought I ordered it before I arrived lol. But the drink service was incredibly slow. I had almost finished my meal before the drink came out. All in all this was a great experience and definitely recommend going.

Yelp
I didn't think it was possible to fall even more in love with Mexican food, but this place has officially stolen my heart. The ambiance makes you feel like you've stepped into a vibrant, authentic Mexican spot, with nods to Frida everywhere you look. It's colorful, welcoming, and full of life! Food-wise, the Chucho's House Special Plate is my ultimate recommendation. Perfectly seasoned steak, peppers, onions, fluffy rice, and just the right touch of extra queso--it's truly comfort food at its best. And the Giraffe Margarita? Bold, flavorful, and worth every sip (just pace yourself--trust me on this one). Service was amazing, too. Rosemary was attentive, friendly, and made sure our experience was unforgettable. If you're debating trying this place, DO IT. It's an easy 5 stars from me, and I'm already planning my next visit!

Yelp
This is such a cool Mexican restaurant. Super big. The staff waitresses and waiters were amazing. We were seated immediately once we entered with no wait time. This is a family friendly. The drinks was vast and sweet. Also, the food was great as well with a family style portion size. So we did share a lot of our food together. The music was great. I loved every minute of it and it also has a karaoke machine, so once the music's playing, I guess, in the weekends they would probably have those karaoke nights. All in all, I loved it and it was amazing.

Yelp
This place is definitely a vibe to relax and chill at. Be prepared because the food comes out in waves. LARGE PORTIONS, however delicious wasn't a fan of the bloody Marie tower but the shrimp that was hanging from the tower was delicious. Will return, the prices was good for the amount you get, so come here on an empty stomach because you will have food left over. Good music and good people. Also complementary valet parking . Yeah.. we will return. Oh that that bowl with the lobster tail is popping. I can't say enough this place is a vibe

Yelp
Finally made it here...from seeing all the videos I expected a cuter interior. It was clean etc, I just expected more. The margarita was tasty and my burrito was good. Our staff person was nice and knowledgeable, she gave great service. We left when the dj was getting started, which I'm glad I missed...
google avatar

Rhonda M.

Yelp
The main reasons I gave this place 4 stars is because the music was dope and the customer service provided by Tisha was great! She checked on me several times before my guest arrived and she made sure I had whatever I needed. Once I moved my table, the customer service went downhill! I wasn't advised that we would get a different server because we would've stayed where we were. Our net server was Bella, she was slow, we had to look for her several times and everything took forever to come out. She kept forgetting about us and it wore me thin! IF I ever return and I get her again, I'm moving to another area! The fish tacos were good, the margarita was delicious and the steak/shrimp fajita was good too.

Yelp
If you're looking for the best happy hour in Fayetteville, GA, look no further than Frida's Mexican Bar & Grill. I stopped in after work and was instantly glad I did--this place knows how to do happy hour right. The energy at Frida's is vibrant and welcoming, with colorful decor and a stunning Frida Kahlo-inspired mural that immediately catches your eye. It feels like the kind of spot where you can truly unwind, whether you're solo, meeting up with friends, or kicking off date night. What really stood out to me was how relaxing and affordable the happy hour experience was. The food came out fast, the drinks were flavorful (and strong in the best way), and the portions were super satisfying. You can tell they put care into what they serve--everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not just typical bar bites. There was a good crowd but not overwhelming, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. It felt like the kind of place where people come to really enjoy themselves without breaking the bank. The happy hour menu had variety, and the deals made it even easier to try a little of everything. This is definitely going in my rotation for after-work wind-downs or weekend meetups. If you're in or near Fayetteville and love a solid happy hour with authentic Mexican food, great drinks, and good vibes--Frida's is a must. I'll definitely be back soon.

Yelp
The vibe is upbeat, energizing, and loud. The music is loud, the people are loud. It's just loud! If you know this going in you will enjoy Fridas. If you are going expecting a quiet cozy place this is not for you. The food exceeded my expectations. Living in So.California where Mexican food is (in my opinion) the best it has been hard for me to find any Mexican restaurants in Georgia that I like. Fridas was delicious. We ordered some cocktails and the elote corn ribs. For our main entre we shared the hanging kabobs. One kabob was shrimp, one steak one chicken There was more food than two adults could eat. Everything was delicious and served fresh and hot. Our server was on top of everything. She was friendly and answered any questions we had about the food. There is more than enough staff on hand to keep up with the busy environment. I will most definitely be returning! I'd really like to take away a star for the messy bathroom.... but the positives out weigh the negative. When I say messy, exactly that. Rolls of TP on the floor. Overflowing trash. But overall - the bathroom was clean. Clearly they scrub it down daily. It was just messy. My overall opinion is that Fridas is a great place to have a good meal with a fun environment.
google avatar

Nancy A.

Yelp
We had already been to Fridas at the previous location and the food was really good. New location!!!! Not so much. The place is super noisy. There weren't that many people there yet, but voices echo making it uncomfortable and a headache to eat and enjoy the food. Our server was wonderful, yet even she could barely hear our order. Drinks were off the chart delicious. Queso dip was good, but their house salsa was meh, not much flavor. I ordered the Steak Asada tacos and they were delicious. Steak was tender and flavorful. Husband ordered the beef nachos and a crispy beef taco. I saw the look of disappointment on my husband's face. He asked me to taste his nachos. Besides the fact that they were bland and had no flavor or taste, they smelled like my cats pâté. I couldn't get past the smell.
google avatar

Tanisha H.

Yelp
I ordered the house margarita frozen and the chicken burrito, the burrito was huge.. but I really like how the chicken is shredded. My margarita was good also.. sugar on the rim is the best... my friends got the shrimp tacos and the Buffalo shrimp. They also enjoyed their meals and drinks. My friend did say that his Hennessey margarita wasn't as strong as it usually is but overall we all had a good meal..
google avatar

Yelp
Food great, service good and ambience on point. Definitely good portions. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I love this place good food good vibes. Customer service always delivers and the drinks are amazing. Took my family from out of town when they came to visit and they loved it too. Always will go here for food they never disappoint . Go early on the weekends gets packed at night no parking but that's a good thing means they're doing something right.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday around lunch time. Service was great. We were seated time we arrived.(although when we left it was getting crowded). Our server was nice. Our food was excellent. Very flavorful and wait time was minimal. Restaurant environment was great! Will definitely return!!
google avatar

Mary W.

Yelp
Service excellent, Justin was a great server even though an inebriated customer bumped into him and cause a tray of beverages to spill. The food was excellent, served quickly and piping hot. Our server was very attentive and polite. The Churo with ice cream was large enough for the three of us. Definitely a place I would like to visit again, however, the huge armed security men were off putting. Although they were needed and the Fayetteville PD had to be called. Parking was not plentiful although valet was offered. I don't know where the car would be carried. ‍
google avatar

Serena H.

Yelp
We were greeted immediately upon entry. We were seated and provided time to review the menu. Had two drinks that gave us some fire fun. Drinks were strong and good. The food was tasty and worth coming back for. It was nice music playing that was not too loud. You could hear your conversations.

Yelp
Went to Frida's finally and WOW! definitely a 10/10 experience!! Food is so good and flavorful & we loved that they had so many options to choose from! They had the prettiest drinks and we loved that they actually tasted good as well! It was so worth the drive and i will definitely be back! make sure you check them out Some favorites were the ceviche, lamb chops, and flautas! Service was attentive and great with helping find items on the menu.

Yelp
Sooooo my cousin and I decided to celebrate our new job offers with Mexican food and drinks. I've never been to Frida's, but my coworker highly recommended it. Upon arriving there was a long line for the valet parking. It moved faster than I expected though. When I was the 3rd car from the front, my cousin went inside to see if we could get on the waitlist, because we thought there would be one. To both of our surprise.... She was immediately seated. I gave my key to the gentleman outside and was able to find my cousin seated. Walking in, I initially thought "is this a club or a restaurant". The music was BLASTING which made it hard to hear someone when they did talk. The place was packed with people having a great time, so I knew we would too, regardless to the music being loud. Our server was extremely nice and took our drink orders.... I ordered a frozen 22oz Peach Top Shelf Margarita with Don Julio Reposado and Frida's dip. I didn't want chicken, so I asked for chicken on the side. My cousin on the other hand didn't want steak so she got her steak on the side.... Then we switched lol. The frozen machine was moving somewhat slow, so our server gave us the option to wait 10mins for it to get right or get our drinks on the rocks. We decided to wait those 10mins, however after about 15, she came back saying it was going to be longer. We both decided to get our drinks on the rocks. Let's talk about Frida's Dip.... Oh my! I was kinda expecting something to be wrong with it but I was the one wrong lol. The dip had queso, chicken, steak, and shrimp.... But as stated before, I opted out of the chicken. It is served with three flour tortillas and pico. When I tell you this "appetizer" was so filling, I didn't need to order anything else. AND I took some home lol. The Top Shelf Margarita was also really good!!! I haven't had a margarita in a few months but this was a great way to start back drinking because it was SKRONG hahaha. All in all, I will be back... soooon lol. May be my new weekly spot, who knows. But yes the food and drinks WERE that good.
google avatar

Kacy H.

Yelp
Food is decent. Ordered shrimp tacos and they were good. Nice char and seasoned good. Customer service mid. Not overly welcoming. Their prices are different on the menu than what they charge. The double shots are a dollar more and salsa an extra $0.50. They say gratuity is for parties of 6 or more. We were a party of 5 and charged the 18% gratuity. My water never got refilled. This is where the lesser stars come in. Patio is clean and spacious. Seating time was not long. Came on a Saturday afternoon. Is a good place for food and my friends said the drinks were good but very sugary (giraffe drink). Not a must return for me personally.
google avatar

Beverly B.

Yelp
We went on a a Thursday evening for dinner. Food was well seasoned but the star is the drinks. Beautiful presentation and very tasty. Strong enough but not crazy. Love the fact they moved so parking was easy. The staff was so friendly and I'll be back for karaoke!
google avatar

Dominique H.

Yelp
I had the shrimp Tacos. They were pretty good. I enjoyed the sauce that they were sautéd in. I would definitely come back. I wasn't a fan of the house margarita that was on the special of the day. It taste like cheap tequila with no flavor.
google avatar

Tam M.

Yelp
Food is great & fresh. New location by Smoothe King. The air conditioner unit needs more horse power.
google avatar

Theresa K.

Yelp
This was my first time, I've seen this restaurant when it was at a different location and I kept driving past it until a friend of mine suggested that we try it out at its new location ....All I can say is WOW! Awesome food, the decor was authentic, and the atmosphere was great! I will definitely be going back!
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
Went here for lunch. It made our top 5 Mexican restaurants ever. We had quesadillas (cheese, a chicken, and a ground beef), and their Khalo tacos. The quesadillas were meat heavy with very little cheese. The chicken was tasty. The Khalo tacos were the highlight and on point!! The tomatillo salsa could have used a bit more pizzaz but the flavor of the taco itself was very good! The server was attentive and the food came out quick. And it's a cute place- you have to love the sugar skulls!!
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
Cool Mexican spot with a large variety of menu options, we happened to go on karaoke night and it was a good time.
google avatar

Lake W.

Yelp
My husband frequent the old location and recently saw that they had moved to a new location. The Fridas as we knew it is long gone. This felt like a club scene in a Tubi movie. I got pass the loud music but the explicit word nigga kept blasting through the speakers in several songs. This is a Mexican establishment but regardless, I'm offended and will not be returning! The food was good though!
google avatar

Renee P.

Yelp
The place is always crowded so I decided to stop in and check it out. The service was excellent our server helped walked me through the menu since it was my first time there. He recommended the steak and it was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Nakema G.

Yelp
Frida's was really good! I treated my mom to dinner there for her birthday. We had a party of 7 and our server Ellie took good care of us. We only had a few mishaps one being it took a while for our food to come to the table and when it did come you could tell it had been sitting for a minute my fajitas were not sizzling as I would have expected and my nieces kids meal didn't come out with the rest of the food it come out much later than everyone else's meal. The food itself tasted really good so that made up for the delay. Our table ordered chicken fajitas, steak fajitas, lamb chops, a bowl that had chicken, shrimp, scallops and a lobster tail. We had a several giraffe margaritas that were ordered which is a 32oz margarita in a tall long glass. The atmosphere is very fun and lively. I can tell it's a very popular spot we arrived around 4pm and the parking lot/restaurant was packed. When we were leaving there were people waiting outside. They only have valet parking available. No self parking allowed.
google avatar

Anne S.

Yelp
As usual Fridas did not disappoint! The food was excellent along with the service. The drinks are nice. The seafood dishes are always nice! This is my second time and I'll be back! Oh and the manager "momo" is very friendly!
google avatar

Treana A.

Yelp
There is plenty of free parking! The vibe was great music was good but not to loud and overbearing. I didn't have to yell when talking to my party. Drinks were great my medium size had a little fire situation. The elote corn was good I would just ask for lime lol I like that twang. Birria tacos hit I always say corn over flour tortilla. The nachos were plenty I would say ask for extra queso if you like it saucy. I will be back! This new location is a hit.

Yelp
Good service, food was hot & fresh, and nice ambiance. Came for lunch. I would recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
Food ambiance and service is great. My family and I have visited this establishment multiple times and I hasn't missed yet. The drinks are way above board and they absolutely slap , respectfully.

Tasha T.

Yelp
We came out celebrating my nephew birthday. The service were great & the food were good. We enjoy the atmosphere around with everyone.

Rena S.

Yelp
Visit this restaurant for the first time on Saturday. It definitely wasn't worth my time effort. Or gas that I use to get there. The customer service sucked. I found the staff to be very unprofessional. If you don't read the menu correctly, you don't see that if you order a drink and you don't like it, they don't give a d*** they don't fix it or provide you anything different. They will leave that. Item on your bill and tell you.You should have looked at the menu and seeing that you couldn't return it.Poor customer servidefinitely won't be back. The food was just okay. Please don't believe the hype . And I didn't even bother to tip , they didn't deserve even deserve a tip

Yelp
Nice little ambience. The drinks was okay. The ceviche had a very island taste to it as it was in a pineapple. It has become a trendy place to the point they have valet parking so just be mindful there maybe a wait time on the inside as well. I definitely have to come back to try a few things but I had what most people call the fajita rice cooked to perfection

Yelp
Love me some Fridas. One of the best Mexican spots on the southside, but fair warning they do get packed. The food is amazing and their prices aren't too bad.

Yelp
Fridas is a must visit! The food is really good! I'd definitely go back! If you want dessert I recommend the churros and ice cream instead of the ice cream taco. The drinks were great! Definitely get the giraffe tower. The staff is friendly and inviting, and the ambiance is very bright and it's one of those places where you just want to order more!

Yelp
Overall, a decent experience. They were playing club music when we arrived and folks were dancing on the patio. I was not prepared for that. lol. But it was a Friday, so I guess they turn up a little on the weekends. My mom was fine with it. Everyone really enjoyed their food and our waiter was sweet.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came to Frida's this past Saturday around 7pm ish. We drove an hour away because I kept seeing Frida's all over IG! The valet attendant said it will be a two hour wait and told me to go inside and write my name and number down on the waitlist. We only waited probably around 45 minutes then they called us. Our server was Camille. She was very kind and attentive. The parking lot had a lot of cars, but the inside didn't look that crowded. They had bigger parties on one side and and parties of like 2-4 on the other side. I didn't like that the music was so loud. I could barely hear my boyfriend talking to me and he was right beside me. They bring you out chips and dip when you first arrive, my our chips were hard and not hot. Maybe they were sitting out too long. To me, this restaurant is pricey. I ordered the quesabirria tacos and they were really good! We ordered the Frida's dip for an appetizer (again, bad chips but the dip was good.) Overall, I'm glad I was finally able to visit this restaurant but I don't think it's worth all the hype. Too loud inside, valet parking only, prices were high.

Yelp
This location of Frida'a receives a lot of hype so we decided to come to this location. Location - I'm not really familiar with the area but it's only a few minutes from downtown Fayetteville. Parking from what Ive heard, use to be free but now it's valet mostly - $5 to park. You can find some parking around the back of the building that's free. Greeting: Was greeted well but informed by valet of a 45 min wait. Note- there can be wait times up to 2 hours so be aware. One in our party arrived early so our wait time was only about 10 mins because she already put her name down. The seating was cool - had to request we not sit by the speaker. The food to me was nasty. The drink was super sweet and little alcohol. I had fun with my friends so would go back if they asked but did not enjoy the actual food or drinks just the ambience. Overall experience 6/10.

Yelp
The shrimp tacos I ordered were well-seasoned and pretty good. The only minor issue was that they came with a lot of tomatoes, which I ended up removing since I'm not a big fan of them. Other than that, no complaints at all. The margarita I had was strong. The DJ was playing music, but it wasn't overpowering, making for a chill, laidback vibe. Service was great as well, we got seated pretty quickly for it to be packed. Overall, it seemed like a nice spot to chill on a Friday night.

Yelp
Was in the area so I finally got to try this viral sensation from instagram and tiktok and boy, I was NOT disappointed! The bartender/waitress was great and super duper friendly. Her name was Katie and Im gonna ask for her every time! I loved this place because I love to try Birria and here, they give you the option to have them on corn OR flour tortillas! I had them on flour and they were spectacular!!! I am not only pleased with my selection but had a healthy to go plate for when I got home, as well. I love the menu and next time I'll take more pictures of it. The menu had all the different liquors they carry, then the price of each shot by category. I drink tequila so it was nice to see the price for blanco, anejo and reposado listed. I am trying to come back for Cinco de mayo and I know it'll be a zoo! Give them a try. BELIEVE THE HYPE!!
