Seattle’s Best Tea Shops | Eater Seattle

"The sign on the door says that Cosmo has declared this Wallingford spot “The gayest tea shop on the West Coast.” It might be the geekiest too — Friday Afternoon’s website has a whole section dedicated to “fandom blends” that reference Star Wars, Studio Ghibli, and so on. But it’s also gotta be one of the friendliest tea rooms in Seattle as well, with a staff happy to walk newbies through the extensive (almost intimidating) array of teas on the wall. Note that this is one of the few places that as of winter 2023 was still asking customers to wear masks, though if you don’t have one you can pick one up by the door." - Dylan Joffe

Seattle Tea Shop Donates Sales of Hogwarts-Named Items to Trans Mental Health Funds - Eater Seattle

"Friday Afternoon Tea, a self-described 'queer nerd' tea shop, is donating 100 percent of all Hogwarts-inspired tea sales this month to the Nina Pop and Tony McDade Mental Health Recovery Funds. These funds support mental health recovery for the black transgender community. The shop offers pop culture and literature touchstone items for takeout and online retail." - Gabe Guarente

Such a cute little tea shop in Fremont neighborhood. The lady who was at the front desk asked us to put our masks on (which is fine) and she was very good at explaining the types of teas based on our questions and interest. highly recommend 10/10.

We attended a free Saturday tea demonstration of matcha whisking. Educational and fun! Friday, the owner is very passionate and friendly. Many loose leaf teas available with creative names. I purchased some tea and some delicious shortbread cookies baked locally. Would highly recommend if you’re a tea lover.

If you’re looking for a truly unique and magical experience in a cozy café atmosphere, I highly recommend checking out Friday Afternoon. I recently had the pleasure of attending a tasseomancy (tea leaf reading) class there, and it was a delightful and memorable experience. The café itself is a warm, inviting space filled with the comforting aroma of high-quality teas. The staff are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making you feel right at home. They offer a wide selection of teas, each with its own distinct flavor and character. For the tasseomancy class, we used a lovely tea that I affectionately called “the non-chaos kind,” which added to the lightheartedness of the experience! The class was thoughtfully structured and interactive, giving us a chance to learn the basics of reading tea leaves while enjoying the calming practice of brewing and sipping our tea. Each of us got to practice interpreting the leaves in our cups and on small plates, guided by a provided worksheet that helped visualize where patterns appeared—whether immediate, near future, or distant. What I really appreciated was how relaxed and fun the experience felt. Even as someone new to tasseomancy, I found it approachable and engaging. The whole session was infused with humor, insight, and a sense of curiosity. Plus, it was a unique way to connect with the symbolism and stories hidden in the patterns of the tea leaves. Overall, Friday Afternoon offers not just delicious tea, but a creative and welcoming space for anyone interested in exploring something a little mystical. Whether you’re a tea enthusiast or just looking for a new experience, I highly recommend giving their tasseomancy class a try.

Love this shop! And special shoutout to the Peach Cobbler Rooibos, I love it both hot and iced. I've always wanted to learn more about tea but the topic is just so vast it felt unapproachable. The team at Friday afternoon is so knowledgeable and kind. They let me try a sample and took the time to get to know me before suggesting a perfect blend. Shopping local is easy when it's also just the best product and cute little space. 🥰

Two visitors from Canada wanted to check out this place after hearing about it online. Nestled in Wallingford I actually didn't know it existed until they asked me to take them there. The store was very clean, they had a sample area set up, the support of LGBTQIA community was clear, they had some delicious tea pastries like danish wedding cookies and jam cookies, etc. from a local bakery on 45th. Their tea collection was respect worthy. But of particular note to me was the customer service. Mori was so great about providing helpful education about the different kinds of teas, what they were known for historically, how they function now, and was like a librarian of teas. This would be one of my first choices for a place to get a solid a tea education.

Google
I love the atmosphere of this place and that I can sit and have warm tea and a conversation or buy some tea to take home. I’ve had no issues with any of the women who work here always a smile or a welcome or hello and love giving tea suggestions and helping choose what I would like based on the tastes I enjoy. The man who works here has never once given me a warm welcome or ever felt like I could ask questions without basically being talked to like I’m stupid. Sorry I don’t work there and know what every damn tea tastes like. If you don’t want to help customers pick a tea or explain a tea then don’t work at a shop that sells tea. The fact that a brought a friend for the first time to this place I enjoy and acknowledged it was my friends first time and then you continue to have the worst attitude ever just like every other time I’ve interacted with you. If someone ask for a suggestion or help you don’t respond shitty and make them feel like that’s a dumb question to ask. I’ve literally listened to this man tell a girl who walked in saying she was trying to find a fun tea for a friend as a gift and wanted some help and he responds with we sell tea bags over there on the shelf. No input on a favorite tea or a tea a lot of regulars come and get. Anytime I’ve interacted with this worker it’s always ruined my mood and makes me not want to ask any questions at all based on there response. This really sucks because I really love supporting a local business I just wish I could ask questions and not get a shit short response fueled by anger and attitude because I’m curious about the tea the one thing you sell. Makes no sense at all.

I always love it here, the tea is amazing and it's super peaceful. I take everyone I know here to drink tea and chill. You can read or do art or play games in peace. It's so peaceful and relaxing with creative teas. The staff are so patient and Excepting. Pets are allowed and everyone is welcome no matter gender, age, Sexulaity, skin color, or disabilities.

Google
A truly fantastic tea shop. The owner and staff are absolutely delightful and the tea selection is amazing. An absolute heaven for nerdy tea enthusiasts. And the way they're handling the quarantine has been very clean and professional. They also regularly feature local artists with the selection changing mostly every month. This month they're actually featuring my company's leather work and I'm ecstatic to be able to work with them!

Yelp
Tasty tea!!! Very kind service and knowledgeable, hard working staff. The ambiance is cute and cozy. There are only a few tables so nab a spot if and when you can. They do have a strongly encouraged mask policy too - so come prepared or be ready to put one of the provided ones on. Very cool community events that they host too!

Yelp
Fantastic neighborhood treasure in Wallingford. Excellent education from store staff about variety of teas. Plenty of tables to sit and enjoy but also take out is very easy. They have excellent snacks from a local bakery. The great place to come and work or enjoy conversation or pick up some tea you have never tried before.

Yelp
Amazing tea selection and variety (they do their own), loved the kinds with Szechuan peppercorn! The staff were super knowledgeable and helpful in selection. Lovely shop. Would come again and recommend to friends. As an aside, they claim they are the gayest tea shop on the west coast...I live near the Castro so

Yelp
Tea Connoisseur- finding the neighborhood tea gem shop evoked the feeling of utter joy. I am from Darjeeling and sipping quality Darjeeling tea here made my day! Staff is very friendly and very cute wizard ambience. I will be back again with friends to try their wide collection of teas.

Yelp
Friday Afternoon is my favorite place. I love trying all their teas, and have a long list of what my favorite teas are. I was ordering from them online even before I moved close enough to visit. They are really good about accommodating my allergy. Their staff are delightful people who are all really knowledgable about the teas they sell. The shop is very cute with plants, fairy lights, and displays. They have a good amount of tables and chairs for hanging out by yourself or with friends. They even have a variety of treats and snacks, which come from local small businesses. Don't miss out on the macarons if they have them in stock when you're there. I strongly recommend visiting for so many reasons, even if it's just a cup of tea to go. You won't regret it.

Yelp
I recently learned of this place through Eventbrite (they offer various events at the cafe and definitely recommend checking out their upcoming events). In particular, I learned about their chess club and decided to give it a try. Chess club was super fun. It was a relaxed and laid back atmosphere. 4 of us showed up, and one of the barista's was super helpful at explaining the rules of chess and offered to play with us as well. We ended up getting our iced tea and playing chess outside bc it was a nice evening out. The tea was phenomenal and they had a good variety of flavors. The barista was also helpful at helping me narrow in on what I want (ended up getting a tropical fruit tea and 10/10 would recommend!). Overall, lovely experience. Can't wait to go again!

Yelp
Several of the folks I've talked to who work there are friendly and it's a cute space with a nerdy/queer vibe. I've gone in sometimes just out of curiosity to taste their teas that day, you can ask them for recommendations if you're indecisive like me, and they'll let you taste ones on their shelf too -- makes me think of an ice cream shop but for tea! I like tea and their tea selection is really fun! I'm not a tea connoisseur though and when I realized they had cream (dairy and non-dairy) and sugar it was a game changer. XD They don't have a ton of seating, but they have some inside and a bit outside (I don't remember how protected from rain it is though). I often walk by and see a group of people playing a game together inside, so maybe a good place for a board game / D&D group?

Yelp
The teas are amazing. The people are lovely, and if you're into such a thing that discord group is very active and welcoming.

Yelp
I Just completed a tea blending class with Friday Afternoon. The class was very informative and allowed for a lot of creativity. Friday was kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone that's interested in tea.

Yelp
Went into this shop with my partner. We said hello to the person working and they were immediately cold. When I went to order my tea, I mispronounced the name of the tea, and they rudely clapped back the correct pronunciation in a condescending tone, saying nothing else. My partner and I continued to be friendly, but quiet. The staff member continued to be cold. We felt like we weren't welcome in the space and I felt embarrassed. They didn't tell us how long to steep the tea for, and they left the bags in, which seems wrong for a tea shop. It felt like they just wanted to put the bags in water and get us out. Later, as we walked out, my partner noticed a sign asking to wear a mask and social distance. We suspect this may have been the reason they were so rude, but we didn't see the sign and we weren't told to wear masks (we would have put them on had they told us). It is a shame, because the tea is really good, and we live in the neighborhood. I can't see myself going back again, I haven't felt that unwelcome by a staff member in a long time.

Yelp
Delicious blends and friendly staff. They were super-helpful picking out teas as a gift for my brother, and the atmosphere in the store is cozy if you want to read a book or chat with a friend over a cup. They might ask you to mask up in store & will kindly provide a disposable mask if they do. They have rotating seasonal options as well as year-round blends. I particularly love their more unusual brews, like the ones with tomato or chilis. I've found some magical teas there. I look forward to the winter rotation! The only "problem": when I visit, I always find at least one more thing I want!

Emily E.

Yelp
The gentleman who was working was super rude and pushy as soon as I walked in the door. And when I had questions about the tea, he continued to have an attitude and talk condescending. Not coming back

Yelp
I did not know where else to leave this review so I figured I'd do it here. This is specifically for the tea itself, as I live in California and haven't been to their brick and mortar store. I found Friday on TikTok through her "name game" that she does (for those unaware, the store owner Friday has lexical gustatory synesthesia, meaning she can taste words and concepts, and often uses this to create her tea blends) and was really intrigued by a tea she had made in homage of Freddie Mercury/Queen. When I realized she sold teas online, I quickly bought several bags (the Holy Trinitea for my best friend, and the Olympus, Goblin King and Pomegranate Black teas for myself). Shipping took about a week but that's to be expected, and given the state of the world completely acceptable. But I just got my teas today and OH MY GOD. They are EXQUISITE. You can tell she uses high quality tea leaves to create the blends she has in stock. I brewed three cups worth of the pomegranate black tea first, following the instructions and using water heated to 212°F and steeping the leaves for four minutes. First cup went to my husband, since he's sick with a sinus infection and he would definitely benefit from a nice mug of tea. Second cup went to my best friend because he had just gotten off work, and last one went to me. The black tea perfectly complements the pomegranate and safflower oil, not too heavy or overbearing, and makes me feel like curling up by the window with a good book. I haven't tried the rest yet but judging from the smell of the packets alone, they're going to be incredible. Safe to say I found my new favorite tea shop and will be buying from Friday Afternoon more often. I wish I lived in Seattle so I could come and check the store out in person!

Yelp
My husband and I came here during the summer of 2020 during COVID. Such a bummer we didn't have a good experience because we're avid tea lovers! We go to the NW tea festival every year and drink tea daily. It sure is fishy that EVERY single review except this is 5 stars! We had a super weird experience. Staff was not friendly. They didn't acknowledge us for quite a while- no hello, no goodbye, we had to ask to even order anything. The tea was nothing to write home about. The interior was bland and not well thought out. I never give low reviews but it was such a weird experience! There was only 1 seat so we had to sit on each other's laps. Would not return.

T V.

Yelp
Person working there was rude and condescending. Have been treated better by homophobic bartenders in WI, super ironic to me considering the sign outside. Tea isn't very flavorful either.

Yelp
Yes, I should be watching the Seahawks game or doing some holiday shopping...but on a sunny Sunday wanted to check out Friday Afternoon in Seattle's neighborhood (12/10/17). So I convinced The Homie (and avid tea drinker) to accompany me to an establishment with signage "Tasty teas for thirsty nerds!" Pleasant new find with friendly counter staff, especially with Kuanyin and Remedy Teas closing. Bright spot located at the retail/business base of a condo between 42nd/43rd and Stone Way. There's street parking along Stone, as well as, off adjacent side streets. Friday Afternoon carries an assortment of teas, retail items like packaged teas, accessories, and books. Ample seating to enjoy a hot cup, there's free WiFi, and board games to partake in. The cafe also features local artists. No onsite treats to go with tea service though, maybe something they'll consider later. The Homie and I decided on a 8-10 cup pot of Earl Grey to share. Nice blend, less bergamot notes, and more earthy. Totally chill background music. Enjoyable oasis from the day-to-day hustle and bustle. Definitely stop in and check it out!

Yelp
After doing some research, we landed on checking this place out to try some new teas and get some work done. Unfortunately, staff was distracted by conversation amongst each other and the seating was minimal despite being advertised as having availability to hang out. Unlikely to return despite the good location and selection of teas.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday morning around 9:30 am, and it was absolutely empty. I'm not sure why, because starting the morning with some good tea was great before a walk in the Arboretum. There's a good variety of teas, and though I consider myself a tea person (vs coffee), I'm not really a tea snob. However, I smelled quite a few different teas and ended up with a Chinese variety composed of individually rolled leaves. I'm not a huge fan of tea blends in general, but there's definitely a selection of plain vs tea blends at Friday Afternoon. Possibly one of the best things was that they are dog friendly. I was out that morning to walk my dog and fully expected to leave her outside for a moment while I got tea, but to my surprise, I could bring her inside and relax for a bit. They supposedly also have a house dog, but he/she wasn't there when I showed up, which was too bad.

Yelp
I came here back in July of 2021 as it was a must do during our trip to the PNW and absolutely loved it. The lady at the register was so sweet and was able to give me a fantastic selection of sweet teas (as a southern, the sweeter the better)! I had the pleasure of meeting Friday who was the absolute sweetest. Even now I'm eagerly awaiting for the summer teas to come back as they were the most delightful teas I've ever had!
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
It's a nice place where millineal hipsters and grannies would like to go play board games and try one of their 47 different types of teas. The WiFi is ok but it's right on a main road and this noisy, plus it's a bit to foofy for me. I want to study at a coffee shop that has coffee two types of tea and some annoying lady that goes around shushing people who get to loud. Why does that sound like a librarian? Nice place but I won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Review in the Time of Covid: Super easy to order online and pickup curbside! No contact, great tea, easy peasy! I was sad when I could no longer get my favorite Earl Grey Oolong from Miro, and I actually spent some time trying to figure out where I could get it. Luckily, someone said, "Try Friday Afternoon," and not only did I do so, but when I got the tea I saw the perfectly nerdy, "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot" on the label. I'm not a super-tea nerd, but I have a few I know I like to drink in the afternoon when my energy wains. I'm happy about my purchase, and will definitely order from there again!

Yelp
Friday afternoon tea shop... Sample was spectacular, customer service was amazing, super helpful, super friendly! Probably spent way too much... definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
One of my favorite tea places. I am from Chicago and I heard about Friday Teas from a few friends. I snagged a few samples (which last 3-4 brews, really!) and I was immediately hooked. When you go in or if you contact them and aren't sure what to get, they'll help find the perfect blend for you. Their blends are fun and different but they do have a few classic tasting ones, too. The teas last way longer in terms of re-brewing and how many cups you get per oz. Their staff have always been so sweet and kind and ready to help! If you want tea that is made well and tastes great -- Friday Teas will have a tea for you. There's always something for everyone!

Yelp
This is basically my favorite Seattle hangout, and as soon as covid is over this is the first place I'm going to plop my butt in. It's a super queer friendly supportive environment, the place is open, brightly lit, and comfortable, especially with the new renovation and paint. Also there's a lovely board game library. The tea itself is amazing. She has way too many teas in stock (it's a good thing) and she is super knowledgeable. Her classes are great, and now that she's doing them online they are much more regular. The tea variety is super wide, mostly focused on the middle and upper middle end of overall tea quality. She doesn't specialize in the fancy oolongs and puerhs, but there's still some Really Good Stuff here, including stuff she imports directly from farms she has contacts with. Oh and the shop is Latinx owned, and she is super great with all the teas in this place being ethically sourced and undoing the damage the international tea industry and the associated colonialism has done around the world. So that's pretty rad.

Yelp
One of my favorite shops in town, tea or otherwise. I've ordered lots of their tea online and love stopping in to pick it up in-person so I can 1) save on shipping but also 2) get a recommendation from staff for a new tea and get a cup to-go. Super cozy vibes, wonderful staff, adorable social media presence, and of course amazing tea with such a wide variety! I also love the fact that they support small farms and tea businesses around the world. Really looking forward to when they reopen indoor seating, because I wish I could spend all my time there, but of course I understand and respect the safety measures!

Yelp
I. love. tea. When I heard about this place from my coworker, I knew I had to try it someday. And then I did. I spent a Saturday afternoon huffing all of their tea. We came in hoping to find Friday, the owner, but unfortunately she wasn't there. We had heard she can work magic with tea blends and can make recommendations based on what you'd like to target (ailments, taste, etc.) The guy behind the counter, Greg, was such a sweetheart putting up with me and my girls. We literally asked to smell every single jar, and there are a lot of jars! There are even some that aren't displayed in jars (i.e. They had an oolong strawberry blend on display, and I asked if they had a pure oolong. They did. It was just hidden in their cabinets). My girlfriends and I each picked tea blends we wanted to taste test and ended up having a little tea party. We each walked out with a couple bags of loose leaf, and a couple months later I'm almost out of two of them and will need to go back shortly for another haul. Friday Afternoon also offers custom blending (at a price) which will then go on file once you create that perfect blend. I'd definitely like to try it someday. Friday Afternoon is a hidden gem in Wallingford and more people need to know about it!

Am T.

Yelp
The tea is excellent, but the customer service is poor. Online ordering for curbside pickup is very inconsistent - sometimes it takes a day, other times it can take several weeks. There is no communication about why it's taking longer unless you specifically ask. After waiting almost 3 weeks for an order, I suggested that they might consider notifying customers about significant delays. They said that they don't have the resources for that, but they would try to post out of stock ingredients on their social media. So I'm supposed to be scouring Facebook for missing ingredients and then trying to figure out if those were in the tea I ordered? This does not seem realistic, and just seems like they don't really care about providing good customer service. There was also a time when I went to pick up an order and it took them about 10 minutes to find it, which was longer than I wanted to spend indoors during a pandemic. Also some of the employees are not properly masking (wearing scarves instead of fitted masks, or masks constantly falling down), so it doesn't feel very Covid-safe. I'm going to start buying my tea elsewhere.

Terra H.

Yelp
I have loved coming into the shop for delicious tea and delightful atmosphere since it opened, and have kept my cabinet full of Friday's blends at home, but this review is mostly because Friday and the crew were one of the vendors at our wedding, and made the day extra special with a tea service! We had a themed wedding, and Friday was genuinely excited to help us figure out which blends would be the best match and plan fun details to help their display fit our theme! We even had a secret color-changing tea that required a secret password to order! We worked with her to pick a tea cocktail/mocktail that we served at the bar with some of her ingredients. It was a fun experience from start to finish, and I am so happy to have had her and Greg at the wedding!

Yelp
A way better establishment than B. Fuller's for the simple fact that they seem to care about their customers' health and wellness. Cheers, Friday Afternoon. Keep up the good, safe work.

Yelp
What an amazing selection and lovely family. I love the "tea wizardry" going on. Fun and unique.

Yelp
This place is amazing, new blends every time I've been in, now they have cookies! The atmosphere is so chill and welcoming, the board game selection is unique and adds to the charm. The proprieter is a delight, super knowledgeable and passionate about the product they share, and the quality of patron experiences. Hippy board game where I learn about herbs, played with strangers while we all sip delicious concoctions? Yes, please. Like anything, you get what you put in. Take some time, try some tea, then try some more!

Yelp
Friday Afternoon is the most lovely tea company anyone could have the joy of trying. Amazing quality of the products, fantastic flavors, and charming to boot! Not just the people involved, but the company itself has such character to it. There is a tea for every flavor profile, mood, or occasion. There are classic teas, single origin teas, nerdy teas... yes... Nerdy teas. Delicious, delightful nerdy blends for all sorts of fandoms and flavors. Harry Potter inspired blends, Firefly/Serenity inspired blends, classic role-playing game classes inspired blends, Sonic the Hedgehog, and so much more. Friday Afternoon will custom blend teas for you as well which is great on so many levels. Custom blends are nice if there is something specific you want that you are having trouble finding, or want a specific thing but need it without a certain common ingredient, but it is also a great present. Getting a custom blend based on the personality of loved one(s) is great for birthdays or weddings. What more could you want out of a tea company? Eco-conscious? Yep. Puts a priority on being ethically sourced? Since the beginning! I first tried Friday's tea back in March of 2013, and I have never looked back! The only problem I have with this tea is that there isn't enough room in my kitchen for all of her blends at the same time! Because she has hundreds of amazing blends I want all to myself.

Yelp

Yelp
Oh my goodness, I found this place on twitter and decided to pop in today and I am absolutely in love! From the moment I walked in the door I felt so welcomed and at home. Sarah was so helpful and knowledgeable, not to mention the sweetest! I am so excited to try the tea when I get home, and will be back in soon :)

Yelp
This tea shop is absolutely fantastic. The sheer number of teas, tisanes, and other tasty drinks is amazing, and Friday herself is an incredible font of knowledge when it comes to teas and blends. She helped me make my own tea blend from her stock, and after I explained what I wanted in fairly broad terms, she made something perfect for me. Best of all, I can always go back and reorder it, since she saves all of her blends! Whether you are new to tea or have black tea running through your veins, you should treat yourself and come here. The tea is fantastic, Friday is incredibly nice, and the inside is inviting.

Yelp
I've been trying to get back into tea so I did a search for tea places near my home and stumbled upon Friday Afternoon. When I checked out their website and saw they did nerdy themed blends, I was sold. Immediately headed over to sample their selections. The owner is extremely nice and willing to answer any and all questions you might have about her blends, where she sources her tea from, and is happy to sample anything you would like to try. On my visit, I sampled Goblin King, Courtesan's Blend, and Northwest Rainforest. All of the teas were fantastic and I walked away with 2 oz. each of Goblin King and Courtesan's Blend which have lasted me quite a while. The prices are very reasonable as well, in my opinion. The space is fantastic, plenty of seating, and some board games you can play while enjoying a pot of tea. The owner also organizes fun events like game nights, craft days, etc. Friday Afternoon is a great addition to the Wallingford area and I'm already planning another visit and recommending it to all of my tea drinking friends.

Yelp
So glad they were finally able to open a brick and mortar shop! Very lovely customer service and yummy blends.

Yelp
Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere, has free wi-fi if you need it to study. In addition to a variety of really good organic teas you can sample they also buy some great snacks such as Theo chocolate bars, cookies and other small desserts from bakeries. The Friday Evening, Maple Hojicha, and Glashtyn blend teas are some of my personal recommendations (I plan on coming back many times to try a lot more of Friday's unique tea blends). I love the idea of drinking fandom-inspired tea blends! I'm a part of the LGBT+ community and love fandom stuff, I feel very welcome here. Friday is super friendly and fun to talk to, and I'm happy I discovered this place. I love supporting small businesses like hers!

Yelp
Best tea leaves I tried in Seattle. I accidentally left my black tea leaves in hot water too long. I have to toss teas at at point usually. But. The ones from this store tasted fine. In fact, Perfect with the sweets i was having it with. The store is easy to miss if you are driving by so look out! absolutely looking forward to go back and try more teas. Or order online :)

Yelp
This is a great little tea shop - the owner blends her own teas. She is very warm and welcoming and it seems like a great gathering place-- we were visiting from out of town, but it would def be a hangout for me if I lived nearby.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! Friday blends delicious and interesting teas. The space is small and adorable, with seating and board games if you want to hang. The prices are super reasonable, particularly for the quality. The last time I went in I needed a special gift for a work function. Friday helped me pick everything out, blended up a special batch of one of the teas I wanted (but that she didn't currently have made), and packaged everything wonderfully. You really can't beat that kind of service, especially when it's done with joy.

Yelp
Incredible tea. Friendly and super knowledgeable owner. Fun, relaxed atmosphere. It has a great (and growing) board game library. Awesome place to hang out, play a game with friends or strangers, drink some tea (or get a cup to go), or buy some loose leaf to drink at home.

Yelp
The tea here is so amazing. There are so many blends to choose from. The owner, Friday, will let you try anything. You can buy tea to go or sit and have a cup. The tea is a great value and it's all ethically sourced, which is a great bonus.
