Great lunch here today. Incredible special going, $9.99 for a half sandwich (super melt) plus soup or salad. Also doing ice cream flights for only $5. Already looking forward to stopping in again.

Friendly waitress both times I went there. Clean tables, floor and menu’s. Breakfast and coffee was very good. French toast made the way I like it, with cinnamon and vanilla. Cost very reasonable compared to other places.

Tough spot. Waitress was nice and service was ok but she stunk of weed. My daughters mac and cheese looked like it was cooked two days ago and microwaved for her. Bathrooms were on the dirty side, so much that we felt more comfortable changing our daughter diaper in the car rather than in the rest room. Sandwiches are on the small side, should be cheaper than it is. Don’t go here unless it’s just for ice cream.

I thought friendlys was out of business, but was pleased to find one. The location clearly was not a flagship of theirs, and they were understaffed, but the food was just as good as I remembered. I may have come at a bad time because the air staff started to fill out towards the end of my meal, and my server was doing the best she could, so I’ll focus on the fribble and food. Good stuff.

Great service and food! I recently visited a Friendly's in Worcester County and it was disgusting, just filthy and terrible service. This one was a delight. We had a nice and attentive serve, and the food was great. The booth had some crumbs on the bench so I took off a star from the atmosphere. I'm glad we still have a few of these open and hope they can be updated in the future. I got the cool ranch chopped cheese burger with impossible meat and it was DELICIOUS.

Place is a dumpster fire. No one is actually running this place, despite the long term “manager”. You will be sure to be ignored from the time you walk in the door. 4PM not a single customer in the building besides us 2… seated. Only server doing something on a computer. Person who sat us is also the cook. Manager on the phone walking around the restaurant complaining loudly about some 3 deliveries she got. Not one person acknowledged us. Not enough staff but the cook was able to help all the door dash and to go orders. The sad thing is, this store will be closing soon. It’s only a matter of time. Empty parking lot, always looks closed and for YEARS now- deal with the same issue we did today. This store in particular has the ability to be a profitable store but it is run so incredibly poorly by people who don’t care. I will end this with the fact that the cook and manager laughed when they saw us leaving today. No “I’m so sorry, we will be right with you” no apology, no “there’s a little wait but we will be right there”. Just simply annoyance that we were there to begin with. Had a good breakfast at this place, the grilled potatoes were delicious and the service was very attentive, although the store can use a little more updated tables and booths.

Dayshawn p was the one man team he took the order down to the t went in the back made the food fresh flavorful picture perfect there's not enough words and how I felt when I was eating that food at 10:00 at night was amazing that's great service you just don't see that anymore I was thinking that the food was not going to be great but I was wrong friendlies you got another customer for years as long as dayshawns making my food and giving me that great service you guys will be in good standing thank you again give that guy a raise give them a promotion

It is always a pleasure to order from the friendlys in East long meadow. They are fast clean and accurate. The ice cream is always good and there is no frost bite on it. My family and I order ice cream.from there at least twice a week.

Quick and friendly service. The staff are always so nice even during busy days. Also, I got a pretty good deal with a kid's meal which included a drink and ice cream with three toppings for under $10 bucks.

This place is hot garbage these days. What was once a good place is now the worst place to get anything. Food prices have doubled, while portions on everything have halved. Service is absolutely abysmal. There are plenty of other places to get ice cream in this area, J.B.'s Ice Cream is a million times better in every way possible. Steer clear and save your money. Let this once great company die the death it deserves.

Decided to go for dinner. While waiting for my food the cooks and some employees started a brawl and fighting in the food prep and grill area. All the way to the door. Some one locked it so one guy couldn't come back in. Police were called. Then an ambulance came there as I was leaving. I won't be going back that's for sure.

I ordered 3 ice cream items this evening. I couldn't have made them myself as quickly as this crew made them and Grubhub delivered them! Excellent service and all orders were spot on.

Fortunately for this restaurant I can't give a half of a star. The quality in the food and service in this particular restaurant and for the chain has gone down over the years tremendously. Food always comes out wrong and sloppy when ordering out. I would not be going back to this restaurant nor would I allow a dog to eat any food that comes out of this place

Just came from picking up my ice cream pick up order. 1st thing, our order wasn't even done at pick up. We had to wait for them to make our order. Second we ordered a small mint shake, small frenzy, and a Jim Dandy. We got our smalls on coffee cups and my Jim Dandy in a To-go food container w not the same amount of ice cream that comes in a Jim Dandy and after I get home my the mint shake ended up being a vanilla!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Waste of my money!

I seldom make reviews about bad service because I recognize that not everyone is perfect. But this was just incredible. I haven't been to a Friendly's in ages and decided to go here without looking up the reviews. But I wish I had! I ordered a Kit Kat Friend-Z for $5.34 along with gratuity and received a cup of ice cream that looked half eaten by someone else. I went back to my car deliberating whether or not I should say something. I went back to the window and asked the young man behind the counter why my Friend-Z looked the way it did. He claims that when you blend the ice cream it sinks so that's why it wasn't full. This isn't rocket science, my cup was more than less full. He looked me in the eye, taking no responsibility for the poor ice cream he made and just uttered a plain sorry. The correct answer would've been, I can make you another one. C'mon. How is that even acceptable? No wonder there is stream of one star reviews from customers. I didn't end up eating my ice cream because God knows where he even got my ice cream from. (All the pictures were of the untouched Friend-Z I purchased.)

Absolutely disgusting inside. Health department notified. People making ice cream on their cell phones, dirty tables, 3 containers of soup left out in the counter with no refrigeration or proper heat. Paper on the floors and you can tell the floor was greasy. Rude people who work there. They just stare at you, ignore you until the 1 nice host is able to help you. Ice cream orders made wrong. Order a "to-go" friendzy and 1 whole Reese's peanut butter cup was thrown in. Ordered a "to-go" Reese's sundae and NO Reese's. Aside from the order. Just absolutely disgusting inside. I would be worried to order real food from there East Longmeadow, MA location

Worst friendlys I've ever been to. You would think because of the area it's in it would be nice, clean, good service. Nope. Exact opposite . I ordered 2 sundaes and they gave me messy cardboard containers with ice cream and fudge all over the containers and paper bag. The last time I ordered a friend-z it was half full and once again, messy with ice cream all over the cup. The inside of the restaurant is dirty. Nobody answers when you call. Stay away from this friendlys . Hopefully this location gets shut down soon & they build something else there because it's Changed ALOT since I was a kid and not for the better.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. At 9:30 at night my friends and I wanted ice cream and asked to be seated when the hostess said they aren't taking any more tables because their one server that they had said it was too overwhelming when SHE LITERALLY HAD ONE TABLE THAT SHE WAS SERVING TO. They said that all the tables were dirty when I could clearly see at least ten tables. Awful experience and horrible service. This place used to be nice but now it is just filled with a bunch of people that don't know what they are doing. Don't waste your money

if I could rate this store less than one I would. placed a to go order and our dinners we're all horrible. All sides were forgotten for three meals. We ordered sundaes and paid for extra toppings, they each came with NO toppings at all. We called the restaurant to talk with the "manager", we got Sean/Shawn and he said " what's up" very rudely when I said I wanted to report an issues. He was extremely rude when we expressed our concerns then continued to ignore us and hung up the phone on us. We did not get an apology, a refund, our order remade correctly or even a credit. absolutely horrible.

Please don't get me wrong Friendlys because I lovvveeee you guys especially the one in Springfield ! but this place In Longmeadow has the worst customer service ever experienced by a manager. The manager was the one who made my ice cream order that says specially no chocolate anything on the receipt ! I get home and my sundae is doused in chocolate smh on top of that it was for someone who can't have chocolate. I call to let them know about the mistake she gave me the worst attitude like I was the one who made the mistake smh. On top of that the place is sooooo tiny no space to order or sit or for the waitress to walk pass with their food the whole setup needs to go in the trash.

Have ordered several times on DoorDash. The first time the forgot my boyfriends salad and we let it go. The second time not only do they forget a salad they forgot a whole sandwich, and when I called the driver he was nice enough to go back and get my missing food. THE MANAGER HAD THE NERVE TO LIE AND SAY SHE PUT EVERYTHING IN THE BAG. Anyway she made me a new sandwich and clearly she was tight that I had the nerve as a paying customer to ask for the food I never received, so she made my sandwich and threw it in the box like this

Not worth going to ever. Extremely rude service (at the ice cream window primarily, servers in the dining area are a 50/50 chance of good service.) VERY slow service. They'll take order after order and leave the ice cream sitting on the counter, not wear gloves, neglect food allergy warnings that customers give and gossip about the customers and be completely unprofessional. This isn't a one time thing, it all happens on several occasions. Head over to Wilbraham (my favorite) or Enfield too. You'll be safer for allergies, receive pretty exceptional service and receive and enjoy your food in a timely manner.

Really bad customer service. I tried calling in my order this morning and nobody would answer the phone. Eventually they just took the phone off of the hook. This happens on a regular basis. I won't try to order from there ever again

If you're coming here because of fond childhood memories of Friendly's, be prepared for a total letdown.. The service is bad and slow. Seriously, over 15 min to get a 2 scoop ice cream after we ate.. The noise from the open kitchen area is beyond ridiculous. I get there will be some noise but between the screaming kids and noise of things dropping and yelling from 1 employee to another, it's way too much.. The food is nothing special and not a great value in terms of cost.. Consider yourself lucky if you get a double digit number of fries with your meal. Many other choices for a place to eat that is better on every level for the same pricing.

This is an across the board review for every Friendlys I've ever been to. And some for my experience today.... so here goes. Who says 'Hey let's go to Friendlys? They've got great food there!' Nope. No one. Used to say that like 7-10 years ago or so. But little by little they lost me, and I'm sure many others. Forgive and forget. That's what they say right? I'm pretty forgiving apparently. I have so many fond memories at Friendlys from younger times and every year or so I go back hoping the experience might come just slightly close to what it used to be and it never does. It is always an epic fail and I wonder what in the world I was thinking giving Friendlys any of my money. Dining in? Forget it. Prices are always over the top expensive for mediocre food and the place is ALWAYS filthy (I remember that part) so grabbing a sundae to go is my only option. Even just walking in to pick up an order 'to go' tonight and the floors were filthy with 2 employees standing around. Two tables were seated in the entire restaurant, you can't tell me a quick vac of the entrance is not do-able. Regardless, that's why I chose 'to go' to get my once in a blue moon fix for my fav sundae and $7 later I get a 3 scoop sundae with the smallest swirl of whipped cream on top of the rounded ice cream ball (so it was even less then the pic because was on top of ice cream ball) and ice crystals towards the bottom. For $7. Gimme a break Friendlys. Seriously? Such a bummer. And THATS why I have bets on when my poor ole Friendlys will finally go out of business. I miss you Friendlys. Side note, service was truly friendly, lol.

Today I ordered Two Large Sundaes and was given both of them in a Cardboard Take out box. They we're supposed to each have three toppings and three scoops of ice cream. I ordered the same thing yesterday and was give them correct size Large Ice cream cup. The photos I have is what I was given yesterday vs today. I'm very upset and don't appreciate this at all!! As a person who has worked in the fast food industry I know that certain items are supposed to be placed in the correct containers.

I don't even know how this place stays in business.I went for lunch today when you walk in at least 3 employees will stare at you but ignore you at the same time we are finally told to sit anywhere we ordered a double cheeseburger and a crispy chicken wrap.It took 30 minutes to get our food,the burger was dry and burnt on a stale bun the lettuce was the outer leaves that usually get tossed now on to the chicken wrap well the should call it a lettuce and tomato wrap because that is what it is with a few pieces of crumbled chicken the wrap itself had a strange chewy texture.We told the waitress about the wrap not having enough chicken and she said " I know they put alot of lettuce and only a few small pieces of chicken that's just how they do it". They charge $3.00 for 1 scoop of ice cream

Dead bugs behind the lights, ripped carpets, ripped seats, stained drooping ceiling tiles, dirty ripped trash filled carpets. This place is as worn as a 55 year old hooker on LA's Skid Row. They do have a sign on a door saying a renovation is in the future, but I'm asking myself why it took this long? Service was fast and friendly, no pun intended. Food was decent, but highly overpriced, with apps running almost the same price as regular menu choices. We left spending $50, and asked ourselves which other restaurant we would have loved to spend that money in. Portions are smaller than what I remember. Since their financial troubles they've seemed to apply portion control - thinner burgers and less fries. The interior of this place is a failure from the top all the way down. The prices don't equal the portion sizes or the quality. Seeming to cater to the elderly and kids, with one group having an unsophisticated palate, and the other group having no teeth. They've updated the interior! The service is still ok, but the food is the same. Still catering to annoying teens who order water and kick your seat. Stopped in today for the new low price menu, and it was just awful. We waited like 20 minutes for our appetizer. They were out of plates and utensils. We had to ask for napkins. The food was mediocre at best. The fries were the best thing about the visit. I'm officially done with Friendly's.

The service here is always horrible. We wait for 5 minutes to even be greeted then 15 just to get our ice cream order taken. Servers (not all) are rude and seem annoyed that customers even come in.

Terrible service! Waited 10 minutes and then had to stand up and ask for q server. Waited over 20 minutes just for my drink! I have a 2 year old how had to wait just as long for her drink! Every time I come I am hoping it will change but service is always so bad and take forever to get anything! This will be my last time here and it's too bad because I grew up coming here. Too frustrating with a kid

Great service and a very kind waiter. Samuel went above and beyond our expectations 15/10 I was happy to give him an extra dollar for a tip as a thanks

1.5 stars?!?!?!? McDonalds doesn't even get that low of a rating...I think most of you reviewers are being a little overly sensitive, but it is what it is. I came here on a Friday evening with my partner for dinner. We walked in and it wasn't busy, but there was a line out the door by the time we left. We are new to the area, so this was our first time at any Friendly's. The dining room here is small and is almost diner like it the appearance/decor. The server and hostess were both friendly and all the other servers we observed interacting with nearby tables were friendly as well. No service complaints at all. The food did take a while to get out (almost 20 minutes), but they were starting to get busy so I'm not going to complain much about that. The food was decent. The chicken bacon ranch salad for 5.55 is an incredible deal for the portion of the salad. I'd come back for that alone. Was the salad mind blowing? No, but do you really come to a restaurant like this for mind-blowing food? I sure hope not. We sadly didn't get dessert because we were in a hurry and were already full after our dinner. We'll come back and check out the plethora of desserts sometime in the near future.

I order from them often because they're close and cheap. Last time I ordered they didn't give me any sauces I paid extra for.. okay, whatever. I get it mistakes happen and it's a really busy hectic time rn. Well today I ordered through door dash and thought I'd just call and ask if they could double check that the sauces were there this time.. I called TWELVE times and got no answer. Whatever. I waited to see if they remembered.. NOPE! So sad, clearly no one cares. I won't be ordering from there again and advise you not to either.

Where to start the menus had a white gunk on it the seats had leftover food on it and the table wasn't clean and there was no napkins.

We Went to the window for ice cream. The Girl running the window wouldn't acknowledge us as she looked busy on the register. After a few minutes of waiting she received a call on her phone that's she promptly answered, diving into a personal, further distancing her attention from us. Another girl noticed we were standing there as we inched closer to our graves, and took it upon herself to serve us. She was great. The only name I caught was Nina who handed us our food and she was ever so Pleasant. She knows how to smile and knowledge people. She should be running the window.

I'm never coming back here again first off. Me my wife and kids waited for almost an hour for our food, the employees look like they didn't know what they were doing plus the employees here don't wash there hands when handling food. Me and my wife literally watched an employee make food with no gloves and when the manger asked him to put on gloves he yells "what the hell" in front of customers like it's not a big deal. I've worked at fast food as a manager for taco Bell and I must say that this is the worst store when it comes to management no offense. These employees here need to be retrained. And add far as cleanliness it's terrible. there were still food on the next table over from my family

This is the worst restaurant in western mass by far! This is not your Friendly's from the past. I knew I was rolling the dice going to this friendlys, their food quality, and customer service has not been the best recently, but we were not getting food, just ice cream, so I thought it would be ok.....NOPE! We wanted ice cream yesterday around 8:00pm, very few cars in the parking lot, no lines at the door, I said "hey this might be good". We walked up to the window to order a couple of sundaes, 3 or 4 employees looked at us for about 3 minutes before attempting to help us, mind you there is no line, just me and my wife....I was about to knock on the window and ask them if we should order inside, that's when a young man slid the window open and said..."by the way there is a 45 minute wait for ice cream"....I said "what?" 45 minutes", he just looked at us and then shut the window, like he wanted us to leave! No one was there, why was there a 45 minute wait, with no customers? Did they have to wait for a delivery? My wife stated " maybe that gotta milk the cow" , whatever the reason, it was not a good reason for a 45 minute wait for ICE CREAM!!!! This place needs new ownership, new management and a total renovation of its small ass dining room....someone plz come in and save this place, this sh*t is ridiculous!!!!! Never again!!! I will warn people of this restaurant, until major improvements are in order, go to JB's or Sammy's if you want ice cream in East Longmeadow....This Friendly's is HORRIBLE !

Absolutely horrible service today. Young kids running the place with nasty attitudes to go along with it. Went with my four children today. The young girl taking our order was awful. BEYOND RUDE. Then had the pleasure to walk back inside to pick up my order and overheard as did the four other customers waiting for food, her telling her MANAGER how I was "b*tchy and talking bad about me. Disgusting. Then when I brought it up to the "manager" who was about 15 years old at best. He walked away and wouldn't even look at me. The didn't have the food order right, took over 45 minutes for chicken tenders and fries. What a complete JOKE of a business. Will never go back and would NEVER recommend. Do better TRAINING!!!

I'm disgusted. Whoever thought taking out the ice cream window was a good idea is an idiot. This Friendly's is the worst place I've ever been to. It's a shame because it was my favorite when I was a child. There was a group of 15 people waiting out the door either to pick up an online order or be seated, and no one came to speak to us. I left without picking up my ice cream (I did not pay online.) There is no wonder why Friendly's is closing left and right. They should all just close-- Friendly's was far better as a memory.

Ordered using DoorDash and everything arrived quickly and was delicious! I absolutely love Friendly's and have been going there since the 1980s. Unfortunately, there's only one location in Orlando so whenever I come home I've got to get my Friendly's fix! Especially anything with peanut butter sauce! Yum!

It's my bad really, I forgot to remove my invisibility cloak, causing our waitress not to notice us for 25 minutes. We left. Oh well. It wouldn't be Friendly's without poor service.

One star is being generous. We were so disappointed that I downloaded the Yelp app JUST to make sure I could write this review. Empty inside yet there were like 11 employees on shift, one which decided it would be a good idea to throw a piece of paper across the room that landed on our table while the rest were talking loudly about video games. I ordered a salad, which all the lettuce was bad. When handed a menu for ice cream, it was covered in ketchup and greasy. The glass that the ice cream came in was gross. Stay far away

Only giving two stars because my server was very kind and friendly. The woman who seems to be the manager on the other hand, was not so friendly. I had front row seats to hearing her complain and talk badly to the staff. I came here with my two young kids and boyfriend and we stood at the front waiting to be sat for over 5 minutes before even being awknowleged by the gentlemen who ended up being our server. Having worked in many restaurants i was not pleased at how loud and unappealing the kitchen talk was.

Since they have regrouped and have more staff on service was better. With fresh burgers they are much better than the previous frozen ones. LOVE the new prices. Biggest issue with Friendly's is customer service. Maybe have more intense training for waitresses and not so many new people on at once . Over all very happy with the changes and I believe you are moving in the right direction!

This friendly's location has gotten extremely poor since the last time i came. They are extremely under staffed and the manger has been doing nothing. There was at least 10 costumers standing in the doorway and servers were continuously walking past them, yet not helping them. I don't recommend coming to this establishment.

I ordered online a pretty decent order. Mozz sticks, fish n chips, loaded waffle fries, and a honey BBQ super melt with coleslaw instead of fries, and a large chocolate fribble. I picked it up the girl was having issues doing $40 cash and rest on the card. At first when I got there they had two bags. I asked for ketchup and they didn't have it. I had to ask where my chocolate fribble was since it was not with the bags. Once I got home , I was missing one side of coleslaw. The one with the fish n chips was there but the super melt had no side. I called and returned to the store. I got home again and no tartar sauce! I'm livid, clearly has no idea what they are doing. So pissed

We love Friendly's! My husband is from Massachusetts so whenever we come to town, we at least have breakfast there once and then we do multiple nights of take out ice cream. Breakfast: We came during a weekday and to our surprise, breakfast from 7-11, Mon-Fri is 50% off! So my husband and two kids and a fribble to go was about 20 bucks. My son hates pancakes but he loves theres and finished two of them. The grilled cheese I ordered was good, you cannot really mess up grilled cheese haha. The tomato basil soup was so good and creamy. Do they make it from scratch? Do they get it from a can? I want it! Was all delicious. Service was a little slow but the placed was packed an I'm assuming it's because of the 50% off. My in-laws also received some coupons after the fact, so next time we come, I'll be looking for the coupons haha. 4 meals would then come out to like 5 bucks hahaha jk, that would be great though. ICE CREAM: OMG, YUM!! They have butter crunch back, my husband is happy about that. Last year they did not have it in the restaurant but sold the cartoons back in Vegas, which was weird...but he's happy that they have it now. I tried the Sunday Funday ice cream cone which was yummy but nothing to die for. The kids get normal flavors but they do give generous portions when in the cone. Seemed normal size in the cups. So if you want a lot of ice cream, order a cone haha. But, my review really is for the FRIBBLE. We had a vanilla and strawberry and OMG, I've never had a milkshake so tasty. I felt like I tasted burnt sugar like a creme brûlée top in the drinks; is that the secret? Whatever it is, it's working. And, I literally gained a few lbs from their milkshakes. So, if you're on a diet, don't even bother going to Friendly's! If you want the best milkshake ever, OMG, please go and try it and you can thank me later!

The building has been recently renovated. However, the inside is not up to par. Food on the ground and there's a musty smell. I know every food place has their good and bad days. I've been here many times and none were a good experience. I think it's due to poor management.

I would like to say that I don't like to give bad reviews. As a neighbor I used to stop by for breakfast maybe a few times. The last time I went with my partner we sat down, the guy who took our order looked very uninterested and rushed to take our order. First we were told that the soda machine broke down and we had to wait a few minitutes before we had a soda. When the guy brought our food the top of the burger fell down to the table and that was okay to me until I saw a couple that just got there and they had soda before us. When the guy came back he fixed the burger and brought my meal that had the french fries with cheese, as I was eating the fries I saw a long piece of hair in my fries, so I called him over to explain the situation about the hair and that we were waiting to get soda too, but he seemed like he did not care, the manager was very rude. I do not recomend anyone to spend their time or money here.
