Frijoles & Frescas

Absolutely some of the best food I've had in Nevada, it's delicious, very well presented, and the drinks are by far the best frescas I've had. Every member of my party on the first sip was stunned with the flavor of the drinks. The food was no different either. Every bite had me drawn in was basking in the spices. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The food came out in an instant too. Absolutely amazing place to go.

Absolutely delicious!! The Al Pastor taco 🌮 was loaded and was the best marinated pork I've tasted in forever. The guacamole was flavorful and the fresh pineapple 🍍 juice was wonderful. I loved that the tacos had a bit of a crunch on the inside shell and the outer shell kept it all together. Win win win 🏆 🙌 💯 recommend for people to give it a try.

Stopped here while visiting Vegas. Please open one in Utah County! The food is amazing! I've been craving their burritos since I left. Will be eating here again the next time I'm in town. Thank you for the authentic Mexican food and quality ingredients. The vegetarian options are much appreciated

Nice interior for an "order at the counter" restaurant, but seriously, the best grilled ceviche tacos! And affordable prices too. We'll be back.

The service was great and I got my food quickly. It was presented well. The restaurant is clean and inviting with lots of natural light and an authentic atmosphere. I had a taco and was just a bit disappointed with the flavor. There was a good amount of food, but I expected a little more intensity with the spices.

The food was delicious. Carnitas so juicy and flavorful. Good was freshly cooked. Tortilla taste like they are made from scratch. Definitely will return to this spot. These were the best mini tacos I have had since moving to Vegas in 6 years. Cali native!!! Mexican food is so important. Even the guacamole was delicious and did not taste as if it came from a bag. The green salsa is spicier than the red and the cooked jalapeños and onions omggg. 😘

Perfect! Nothing it doesn't need. Flavourful, inexpensive and simple in its elegance. I was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture before I reviewed it! Then I thought... This place is yummy. The service was great and he recommended so many good items. It seems no matter what you get the food will be good. The frescas was refreshing. Our family will be back and recommend this place to everyone.

Quick Mexican food spot. Not a sit down & be waited on type of place, but rather an order, find a seat & they'll bring the food to you. Steak tacos were tasty & filling. Burritos were nice size & stuffed. They'll provide you a cup for free water. Nice spot for a quick meal. Clean, good handful of tables, neat artwork & decor.

Limited parking, the place is really clean but prices can be better. I'm assuming they're paying a lot in rent which may justify pricing. I haven't had my first bite yet. Tacos are definitely overpriced. The shrimp taco was ok, you can tell the shrimp were

Ordered a carne asada burrito with no beans and no sour cream to-go. Not only was it loaded with beans and sour cream, but the beans weren't drained. It was just a soupy mess of a burrito. 2 stars just because the chips and pico were good.

This delightful little restaurant is tucked into a small strip mall near the outlets. Don't let it's size fool you-the food packs a big punch, especially the salsa, so don't underestimate it. The food is authentic, fresh and delicious. The restaurant is bright and clean with a beautiful mural painted on the wall. I love the mixture of art-both the paintings and the sculpture in the middle of the dining area-it makes this place even more unique. If you're looking for dang good tacos and frescas, be sure to stop by-you won't regret it.

Tasty and fresh food served fairly quickly. The team here was competent and experienced. The space was well kept but a few of the tables had not been cleaned from previous diners. Overall the visit was positive. I ordered the steak salad which was fresh and well presented. The vegetables were all bright and crisp. The steak was a proper temperature and not overcooked. It was a little pricy but considering the prices elsewhere, it was not offensive. If you want a quick lunch this place should be on your radar.

I was pretty obsessed with this place so much so that June 1st, my birthday, I had my boyfriend grab me an al pastor burrito for lunch. There was almost no meat in it. All the other ingredients were good, but my favorite part is that meat, and I had to search for it. Same thing for his carnita burrito. I like did however like how they made my horchata and strawberry Fresca more this time. They swirled it so it was layered and not mixed. It was more refreshing, less sweet, and I like tasting both flavors. Hopefully, they can refresh the staff on how to make their burritos more consistent. They were not cheap, and it was worth it before with how much meat they would put inside them.

Tasty guacamole and super good handrolled tacos! You can get beef or chicken and we got beef. Very good! They also make agua fresca but didn't try it yet. Next time will definitely try the watermelon agua fresca. Would definitely recommend this place.

Very disappointed with this spot. Since I'm an avid yelper I always search online and look at the menu prior to arriving to make sure I know what I want to get. I was looking forward to trying out the chicken quesadilla and their chips/guac. I'm also a huge fan of lemonade and see that on their menu. I was waiting in the car with my dog and my significant other walked in to place our order. When he mentioned to them if they had lemonade the workers proceeded to laugh in his face. There was no need to do that, you could have easily advised us that you don't carry that at your location, etc. we ordered our food for takeout and left. It's nice decor on the inside and this location has a lot of potential. When we arrived home and I opened up my quesadilla I was underwhelmed. There was hardly any queso in it. The guacamole was just okay but too watery for me, there were very little chips in the bag.... This place was just okay, and would have been better if the service wasn't so poor as well. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and sad this was how my experience ended up

The food's OK the burrito is very small for the money that you pay. The flavor was not that good it's not really marinated well they should have some rice to fill the thing up and overall it's just not a good value.

Clean Dinning Room...the sink to wash your hands is on the way to walking to the cashier to place your order. I like how it is right there without having to go into the bathroom, nice touch to the ambiance. Cashier was professional welcomed us and we placed our order. They have a variety of different Mexican drinks. There is two cooks that wore hairnets, face masks and gloves and changed gloves appropriately. We ordered Carnitas fries: $11.49 Very thick crinkle fries, carnitas was not soft and crunchy bland flavor the guacamole was decent but the overall plate was very boring nothing exciting. Carnitas Burrito: $11.49 Again carnitas didn't live up to its flavor the burrito was a mess it was constantly leaking out juice from the beans and the pico de gallo. It's a wanna be chipotle but is no were close to Chipotle.

My first time at this location next to the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets on Las Vegas Boulevard. I have gone to the location many times on Desert Inn and enjoy the food. The restaurant was pretty empty on a Thursday night around 7pm. You order from the cashier and they bring your food to your table. This visit, I ordered my food there to go. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. The service was a little slow in my opinion, for my order of Carne Asada Nachos. The service is mediocre at best, no positive interaction from the employees. They pack everything up well. Although not as tasty as when dining in, still good. Since I've enjoyed the other locations, hoping if I visit again that the visit will be a lot better.

Soooo goood!!! I had the mini al pastor tacos and mini carne asada tacos w/ mango strawberry and pepino agua frescas. Definitely will be back!

Order at the counter, self serve drinks and vm pickup order at the counter. Authentic Mexican beverages available. Coke products always a bonus. The burrito ($11.50) was full, a good serving the homemade tortilla was pasty. The chicken was delicious and nicely seasoned. The platter was good ($14.29) was a nice portion but again the tortillas weren't great. The music playing was at a decent volume. I didn't finish my burrito.

We decided to try this mexican food, but unfortunately my visit was bad. First off we did a take out order through grubhub, placed order ahead of time for carne asada burrito and carne asada fries so that it would be ready when I arrived around 2pm. After arrival, they told me order wasn't ready so I waited additional half hour onsite. Noticed they had many diners so staff was quite busy, weekend dinner rush on a Saturday. Understandable dining area was messy, but orders came out. Once all their patrons got served, my to go order finally came out. I got a carne asada burrito and some carne asada fries. Staff was apologetic about wait. When we finally sampled food, the burrito was soggy don't think beans were strained as it soaked in. The fries were crinkle cut and toppings weren't seasoned or there just was not much flavor there, at least we got salsa but it didn't do much for either of them.

Made a pit stop here on the way to the airport. We ordered 5 mini steak tacos and nachos to share. The chips and salsa were tasty. We also ordered the watermelon, mango, pineapple and horchata Fresca. All the drinks were refreshing! Service was friendly and the place is clean!

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and yesterday after shopping at the outlet mall I was finally able to give it a go. I enjoyed the design of the restaurant and the cleanliness, too! The staff was very nice and accommodating and patient with me as I took a moment to decide what to try. Ended up with a junior carne asada burrito and a chicken taco. Both were absolutely delicious, especially the burrito. Fresh, tasty, and clean! I think you guys are doing a great job, and I hope that there will be one on the west side of town soon! Keep up the great work. Thank you.

This place is my go to for yummy delicious tacos, specially for cabeza. They make their tacos well and filling. Never had a bad tacos here and the quality of meat is always good. Definitely worth to try, it might not be traditional steeet tacos but its still really good! Also, they have good parking space and a lot of choices of items from their menu. I've tried their nachos and burritos too and they are also good but my favorite are the filling tacos.

First timer here and I know I will be back. Everything is fresh and super delicious. They are pretty fast and they make your food right in front of you. I love the decor and restaurant feels nice and clean. Staff was kinda friendly; otherwise still great place to eat.

I discovered this place a year ago, and it is always pleasant to eat here. The ambiance is very different from other Mexican food restaurants, here you get tasty Mexican food with a touch of modern vibe. The food is on the pricey side, but you are definitely getting what you're paying for; for example, the tacos are big enough, and overall portions are very generous. The restaurant is always clean and to me the only downside is that they don't have a Drive-thru service and are closed on Sundays.

It just finished raining and I almost slipped as I walked through the doors. There was no mat. Service was alright. My biggest disappointment was the tacos. I ordered three mini Carne Asada tacos and a Fresca .My order took about 10 minutes. I was hoping they were cooking fresh meat. But no that was not the case. The tacos were a decent size but very dry and tasteless. The meat tasted old, as if it had been reheated one too many times. They gave me my order in a plastic bag full of onions and cilantro all over the outside. Then I had to wait for my drink. I guess I won't be returning anytime soon.

This place is right next to the hotel that I stay at for work. It clean and cutely decorated. I usually get the strawberry fresca so delicious! Then, I usually order the shrimp tostada and carne tostada. I get pretty full off the two and the price is decent. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for freshly made mexican food!

Food is very delicious. I highly recommend the fish taco. Would rate 5 stars, but agree it is a bit overpriced. But, at least the food didn't disappoint!

This is a hidden gem- food tasted great and was fresh. The employees were super friendly and the portions are great, not overwhelming. It is very causal. I had the asad nachos, we also had the fresh salad with chicken. Delicious! The aqua Fresca de sandía was perfect.

First time and well.... $6 each for a taco!!! $6 for one bean small tostada $3 for small drink And the nerve to ask for a tip at the end! $22 for lunch! There you have it! Way overpriced Mexican food. Food wasn't bad, and a nice dining room area. Probably won't be back with those prices.

I got a al pastor burrito. The meat is non existent, it's almost all beans and sour cream. I don't see or taste any cheese either. The beans taste like they are spoiled. Half way through eating the burrito the contents came out the bottom. They cannot fold a burrito properly. I give this zero stars for taste. It's bland no flavor whatsoever and horrible. I'm sorry guys I really wanted to love you but Taco Bell has way more flavor.

Frijoles & Frescas is a stellar restaurant. when you walk through the doors expect great service, great food. would definitely recommend the lengua tacos or burrito.

I walked from my south of the strip hotel to try Frijoles & Frescas. The restaurant has a great layout with regular and bar top tables. The service was very fast and they added two grilled Serrano peppers to my burrito to make it spicy. The guacamole was fresh and the chips were crispy. I also added grilled shrimp along with the standard carne asada burrito. The meal was fantastic, and I will definitely be back to try more of the menu options.

I don't typically leave poor reviews as I want businesses to be successful however, I stopped in here after seeing some hype online. The ordering process was simple. Cashier was super nice, Alexis... She went above and beyond. I give her 5stars. I was a little shocked because it was almost 70 bucks for tacos for three people. The food was mediocre at best. They give you 1.5 pieces of shrimp in a taco and then pile it with toppings. We ordered a quesadilla and we had to go back because they didn't put pico in it as the menu called for. The worker then got argumentative and said it was inside the quesadilla and refused to help. It was only when her co-worker who actually made the quesadilla said she didn't put pico in it, they provided a side. Never apologized for arguing with us in the middle of the restaurant. Menu: Quesadilla Meat, Cheese, Avocado, Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo Anyhow, after that we had an issue with a taco. We ordered the mini ones to try and a few regular ones that come with cheese. One didn't have the cheese so we went back to the line and advised. The same worker from the above incident started saying someone ate the order and she made it right and continued to argue. Never listening just arguing. This review is getting long. If you want good refreshing drink, go here. They're like 7 bucks and tasty. Skip the food part. They need better training on their line with how to make the food and most importantly how to treat the customer when you get their orders wrong. Food and beverage is a hard business. Your workers shouldn't be in the back the entire time, especially when there are only 3 diners in the hour eating there....

After a long day of activity we decided to order in. Tonight's choosing of a new Mexican restaurant to try didn't happen easily, with so many options, but we chose one that is a certain favorite! Ordering online was easy with many great mouth watering options. The delivery time was extended from roughy 40 minutes to an hour but well worth the wait Our food was delivered with care; warm, inviting, filled nicely without a sloppy appearance anywhere. I ordered three mini Quesadilla (2 steak/Carne Asada & 1 pork/Al Pastor) The shells were warm with a slight crunch which I enjoy. The meat was seasoned perfectly, with a grilled tenderness. I enjoyed them all very much. The Mexican street corn was super tender with a creamy coating of deliciousness! My husband had a warm and tender pork burrito, that melted with every bite. We shared the street corn and an order of fresh in-house made chips with some of the best-tastiest guacamole-yum! I can only imagine-with food delivered this wonderful-the in-house service must be exceptional and look forward to visiting sometime.

If you haven't tried this restaurant, you are missing out! The shrimp tacos are my favorite! The fact that they are so accommodating and willing to make the food the way you want it is so refreshing. Some restaurants are not as easily enthused to alter an existing plate but they were so kind to my needs! I had the bariatric sleeve done a while ago and can not eat certain things but they were so kind! Thank you!!!

Absolutely delicious food. I am a picky eater and personally they were so accommodating. I asked for the ingredients I wanted and they made me feel like my order was just as normal as everyone else. I love this attitude and the staff were so accommodating for our large party. The ambience was so relaxed and friendly. Especially with the interior being so modern, it a very good place to stop to grab a bite.

The wife and I went to this place after shopping at the outlet. Wife had a shrimp taco, i had a carnitas taco and we shared carne asada nachos as well as a watermelon Fresca. Before I wrote this review I read a few reviews complaining about the price of the tacos $6 each. Honestly I was so hungry when we ordered I didn't check the price. After receiving our food in a timely manner I was suprised at the size (big) and how loaded the taco was. When I began eating it, it was so delicious I glanced at the menu board to see how much it cost and my thought was the price matched the product. The nachos and Fresca were also great. Definitely will be back.

Carne asada was not hot and the meat was over cooked. It had a good flavor but the meat was a bit mushy.

Was on my lunch and decided to give this location a try as it's new and close to where I work. It was very clean so that's where (1) of these stars come from. The cashier/server was friendly and accurately took my order. They got it out pretty quick also. I ordered a carne asada burrito, guacamole and chips, 4 Agua Frescas. The total was $36 (plus a $5 tip, so $41). The Burrito was a disappointment. Maybe they're putting to much emphasis on the Frijoles and not the actual carne asada I was expecting. Chips and guacamole, well it's what you'd expect but I feel chipotle does a better job. The second star comes from the Aguas Frescas. They were on point. Other than that, I think this establishment is overpriced and literally lives up to its name. Frijoles and Frescas. Not in a good way. Maybe in the distant future when I'm completely stoned and out of options, maybe, just maybe, I might consider this place again. But it's highly unlikely when there's small taco trucks who deliver a better quality burrito at a more substantial price.

The food is presented exactly how it looks in the photo on their menu. Beautiful! Unfortunately, it looks fantastic but there is no depth to the presentation. Meaning, when you dig in with your fork, you hit the bottom of the plate. Everything is a single layer. They must have opened one can of beans for the entire day because only 16, yes, exactly sixteen beans on my vegetarian salad. NOTHING LIKE CAFE RIO. Wish I had taken a photo of the food before I moved it all around looking for the rice and beans under a bed of lettuce and tomatoes. It was fresh! I ate it! It tasted like lettuce tastes. I won't be back because I feel I can get a better value for my money elsewhere. The table sauce was not tasty. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled nice! The washing station was a bit weird in the middle of the restaurant rather than on the bathrooms themselves. This place is a bit hidden and not many customers when I was there 1pm on a Thursday. I noticed the employees making their own lunch and they were not skimpy with their own portions.

Mood- Cheesecake Chimichanga Yes you read that correctly. I have never seen nor heard of this before and knew it was a must for me. So I made the drive across town to try this out. i was told that I was actually the 1st person to order this. Upon entering you stand in a line, order at the front counter, find seating and wait for your name to be called. The menu has several different options. However it isnt overwhelming. Opted of course for that Cheesecake Chimichanga, Carne Asada Plates, Fries, Carnitas Burrito, and 1/2 Sandia Y Pepino Agua Frescas. Now yes I came in for that Chimichanga. However that Agua Fresca stole the entire show. I got the large. The flavor was def robust. The Chimichanga was good, just not a show stopper in my opinion Interior is neat. There is a metal cable tree that adorns the middle. As all of the table and chair arrangements surround it. Hidden in the tree is a large pinata. I love when a restaurant puts time and effort into their decor. There is a huge mural above the front counter. Everything was very clean. Staff were wearing masks for Covid safety protocols. Would recommend - pricing is typical for the strip. This fairly quick food in an effort to appease the masses. I enjoyed my experience. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Location is Las Vegas Blvd/ Robindale - ample parking

Amazing shrimp tacos. Agua frescas were so bomb on a hot day. Clean eating space, friendly staff - my family and I enjoyed catching a quick sit-down dinner here. Would go back often if we lived in town!

This food looks, smells, and tasty AMAZING!!! The ladies in the kitchen make it happen!! The music in the background sends you back to festive times with the family!! I even forgot about the salsa on the table because the plate was perfect! It's a vibe!! Like them bomb ass street tacos from LA but in a dope sit down under a Breathe taking tree! And the sink to wash your hands OUTSIDE the bathrooms keeps it clean clean for sure!!

Stunning mural. Dope tree art. Delicious comida mexicana. A real deal taqueria. Clean modern yet warm decor. Love the music playing. We even lingered a little longer just to jam out. We ordered: 3 mini tacos (pastor, lengua and asada), elote, and carne asada fries. With the first bite, I felt like I was back on the south side of Chicago. Flavorful with great presentation. And the service was impeccable. They were kind and helpful when we were ordering, as it was our first time. The asada fries were made with crinkle fries, my favorite! I didn't get the try the elote bcuz I turned my head and it was gone! Friend inhaled it, so it was obviously delicious. Will be returning with more friends and family bcuz I'm so happy to have found this gem.

We love this place‼ I think the value of yummyness matches the price‼ This isn't Taco Bell. Look at their price comparison! I recommend it highly and plan on it being one of my go-to places!

Nice place, friendly people. I ordered the chicken quesadilla the taste was good but they put everything in it and not on the side so about the time I got home it was soggy.

I enjoyed the tacos, carnitas was my favorite. The aguas frescas was also good! My husband got a burrito but I think the tacos are the item to get here!

So glad we now have a location near to us in Southern Highlands. If you haven't tried this restaurant yet, you're missing out on fantastic tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and have to get the frijoles and rice. Don't forget to share a Mexican street corn either. The frescos are delicious as well. We will be regulars from now on. Love this place.

1st time buying food and won't be the last time. My husband had the Al Pastor burrito, I had the carne asada fries and a shrimp ceviche. The food all tasted amazing! The flavors were on fire! Their salsas were bomb! The agua frescas, Sandia and Horchata were on point!

Went in to try this Mexican restaurant. Soon as I walked in I saw the Rosa women's softball team. So that right there should have told me that there would be a bit of a wait. I ordered a Carne Asada taco, and a Carnitas tostada, and a Jarrito's... I was very surprised when the bill came to $15. That means that the taco is at least $6/7 and tostada is $5/6... a bit pricey for what was delivered. The carne asada was well grilled and ample, but served by itself with ONE tortilla chip- and the tortilla was a small one! ... the tostada as well was relatively small but tasty. There's no arguing that the food is good ( not great and certainly not worth the price ) and that they have a nice variety of proteins ( cabeza, etc)...but having to wait almost 20 mins for it left me sad that I will likely never come back as it's not worth the high price for passable Mexican food...

Their mini tacos were yummy. And their beans and rice are so good! I love that their salsas are on the tables so you can use as much as you want.

If you come here and don't get a Refresca I will have to slap you. They are excelente. The price is not bad., but even better if you order with a meal. I'm picky about rice and beans. These are good as in my bowl was empty when I left but nothing memorable. However the taco was memorable, it's more of a hybrid taco, I was going to describe it but I don't want to spoil the surprise. Everyone should come here at least once for the food and twice for the drinks.
