Frijoles & Frescas Grilled Tacos

The food was amazing! Everything came out fresh and hot and had lots of flavor! I would definitely recommend trying their tacos, quesadillas and burrito. Don’t forget to get a horchata to go with your meal. Frijoles & Frescas is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to!

This was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. We literally walked out after two bites with my 27 bucks down the drain. The carne asada was gray and looked like it was boiled beef. Tasted like it too. Zero flavor. It took them forever to get our meal to us, so I expected it to be great. How do you serve meat like this and call yourself an authentic Mexican restaurant? The only bright side is the older gentleman at the counter was extremely nice and polite. But I would absolutely never eat here again under any circumstances.

Service was amazing! They offered to sample their Aguas Frescas which were amazing. Their Agua Frescas are made daily which explains the freshness. The food was very very good, if you look at my photos it will explain the freshness and how good it looks. I will definitely comeback. If you work around the area or live in the neighborhood and want some good Mexican food I highly recommend coming here. Prices for the amount of food are very reasonable.

The street tacos are good and one of the last places where they are still cheap. The meat was moist and well cooked. The service can be a bit slow as they only had two people working but it was not an unreasonable wait.

This is my First time here with my Family. They are really nice people with great additudes professional hard working caring . Their customer service to me and my family was terrific 💯 . We really Loved it and now will make it our home on the weekends. Food and drinks are Delicious 😋

It was ok, I ordered the carne asada street tacos. The only resemblance to street tacos was the fact that each taco was wrapped with 2 corn tortillas. I've never had tacos that had pinto beans mixed with the carne asada and topped with monterey jack cheese, sour cream. They were good but I wanted street tacos not somebody's interpratation of what they think a street should be.

Very clean and friendly persons working here! We order and pay and went to the table! Food was done so quickly! We ordered quesadillas de carne asada and some water frescas: Mango and Spinach with pineapple! Food was good! Good flavor! They have spicy sauce at the table! Too bad, they don’t have Chile en vinagre, that one that it came with onions and carrots!

Ordered food and got a table right away. Food was good, however the restaurant was very warm and the thermometer showed 80! We have been to this location many times and never had any problems.

Prices on this menu are off by a couple dollars. It's cheaper once you pay there. This location has good flavor. I usually get the shrimp and asada regular size taco. Which is a good portion. They come with rice, cheese, guacamole, onions, etc. The tortilla is nice and crispy. Some of the best tacos in town. But need a few details for the 5 stars. Service is not bad. Ambience is very chill.

Quick dinner w/ hubby while we are out running errands! Service was good! Ambiance was okay! This was not the best Mexican food. However, it was OKAY and AFFORDABLE! My rating is based on the combination of food quality and price! Here is the hubby and my rating & price of everything we ordered: $7.29 Rolled chicken tacos - 6/10 $4.49 Rice - 10/10 $4.99 Jamaica Fresca - 7/10 $14.29 Chicken Platter - 6/10 (chicken was dry but everything else was good) $4.99 Chips & Gaucamole - 6/10 $4.99 Pineapple Fresca - 8/10 Overall I liked the food! I would definitely go back to try something different and for the FRESCA!

Really?!?! My family of 8 comes in, each ordering $12 or more. I wasn't very hungry but wanted to eat along with my family, so I asked for a side salad, like the one they serve with the platter. Nope it wasn't a button in the register so they wouldn't sell it. I could get the $12 salad and just leave all of the items off or I could get a side of rice or beans or guacamole but not a side salad. I asked the employee at the register if he could just charge me for the guacamole and chips price but give me a side salad? He said let me ask my supervisor, then asked in Spanish, so who knows what he asked, and the supervisor said no. Ridiculous! If a supervisor cannot make a decision for a patron it's just crazy! Needless to say, I guess they do not need my money. I have been here so many times but will definitely re-evaluate my dining choice.

This place is delicious! We have one being built buy our house so naturally we were curious and decided to tey this location while we wait for the new location to open. We got a shrimp burrito, carne asada nachos and 2 drinks. The nachos were not super impressive, but they were good nonetheless. The burrito was delicious!! It was so tasty and packed full of flavor. It was the perfect size as well. Not super big but not small either. My favorite thing was the strawberry horchata. I had no idea that was a thing. It tasted like strawberries and cream. So good! My husband also loves his cucumber fresca. The employees were all super nice as well! They were patient as we looked over the menu ans were super friendly! I can't wait to go back!

Frijoles & Frescas has delicious tacos. They're full of meat, pico, guac, beans, cheese, and taste amazing. I haven't had much else here, but the team at this location is always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. A laid back spot for a great taco run. I've been coming here for years and never had an issue or a bad experience.

Been here a handful of times and more often than not I don't get everything I ordered. Sometimes its a side missing or a drink. Today I spent $27 and change on a bean and cheese burrito and carne asada burrito. I also asked for a carne asada tostada. The tostada was missing, I asked the guy who made the food about it. He said the ticket only showed the two burritos, not the tostada. He said he couldn't do anything about it and I can order and pay for another one if thats what I wanted. So obviously I won't be going back.

Love their guacamole and chips. Asado, tacos Asada burritos. The service was great. I wish you were open on Sundays

My recent experience at Frijoles & Frescas Grilled was disappointing due to the poor customer service provided by an employee whose dark hair and she wears medical black glasses. Despite being a regular customer, I regret to say that I will not be returning following this incident. During my visit, my order was incorrectly prepared. Upon realizing this after returning home, I contacted the restaurant to address the error. The staff member I spoke with insisted that I return immediately to exchange the food or receive a refund, decreasing the option to issue a credit for a future visit. This requirement inconvenienced me and necessitated a return trip, which I found to be unreasonable, particularly considering the late hour and my attire. Moreover, the manner in which the employee handled the returned food was concerning. It was disconcerting to witness the food being taken back into the kitchen after it had been opened, raising questions about the handling and potential resale of returned items. I urge others to exercise caution when patronizing this establishment, as my experience has left me with doubts about the quality and integrity of their service and products.

I was incredibly excited to try this place again. First time I had F&F was in 2021 and it was outstanding! Unfortunately, this follow up visit left much to be desired. As you can see from my photo, there is no meat in my burrito. I ended up finding a few sparse bits towards the end, but to say it was lackluster is an understatement. I asked to speak to a manager and apparently there was not one? I was really disappointed and probably won't be coming back due to lack of consistency.

When the craving for tacos struck, I turned to Yelp and stumbled upon Frijoles & Freecas, a spot that's been making the rounds on TikTok. Placing my order online, I was impressed when it was ready in less than 15 minutes. The tostada was flavorful, but I wished it had been served hot. The tacos, adorned with sour cream, avocado, and pico, were delightful, and the authentic taste of the avocado was evident. The meat was tender and free of gristle, a definite plus. However, the burrito had an excessive amount of beans, and the accumulation of bean juice at the bottom made the tortilla soggy. On the positive side, the agua fresca struck a perfect balance of sweetness and ice. Additionally, the chips and salsa were a highlight, with the chips being non-greasy and perfectly salted, and the salsas offering just the right amount of heat. The parking was hassle-free, and the restaurant is an ideal spot for families with kids. Frijoles & Freecas is a convenient and family-friendly spot with tasty offerings. However, there are some consistency issues that could be addressed to enhance the overall dining experience.

Haven't had a bad meal here yet. So tasty, fresh & authentic Mexican foods. Fast service too. You really can't go wrong with any agua frescas either. Try them all

I love coming here. Their agua Frescas are fresh, sweet, and exciting. I enjoy mixing the flavors. My favorite food item are the tacos. I love their pastor and the queso in the tortillas! They have quesadillas, burritos, tostadas, etc. We also enjoyed a chicken tostada which was good too but more like a salad. The service was friendly and quick. This one is definitely on my list to come back.

First time trying it and this will be the last time. Disgusting! I asked for salsa and she said it's in the bag. Flat out lied, saying they put salsa in the bag when they didn't. The food is total trash. Called back to inform them and the girl was rude on the phone, saying to check next time. How about do your job next time. Do not waste your time going here. Negative stars.

VERY DISAPPOINTING Wife got nachos at the Rainbow location...didn't realize it was a do it yourself thing..got home found chips and cheese and everything else on the side...I had her order me tacos with cheese and lettuce she got the mini tacos and then she got home and I opened my foil package and had 3 mini tacos with NO CHEESE OR LETTUCE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ...go to Taco Bell or Del Taco you'll get better fast food

Today is my last time at this place, this restaurant is going ridiculous in the taco size we always ordered burrito meal, and big tacos is a 6 dollars taco!! They used to be big and very decent for the value of 6 dollars for a taco but today the tacos went half size smaller, I wonder how the mini tacos looks nowadays, anyway is not worth anymore to pay to much money for such small taco, they play very smart just filling up the front of the taco but the part that is wrapped with paper is empty , very disappointed, not good management is trying to save money in costs but they just sending customers away to the competition , tacos EL GORDO have the same size of tacos for half of price.

originally tried this place about a month ago and the food was terrific! So I returned tonight and ordered the same thing-shrimp tacos. I ate the first taco and realized halfway through that there was hardly any shrimp in the taco. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I looked inside the second and third taco and there were 3 to 4 tiny shrimp pieces inside my remaining two tacos. I brought this to the attention of a staff member who was walking around and he explained that the meat was pre-portioned and basically "too bad" for me. I told him I wasn't paying $7 per taco for basically no shrimp and asked for my money back. The employee told me to speak to the manager who was at the register. By the point, the employee had taken my plate so I was unable to show the manager my shrimp-less tacos. But I explained to her that I was in previously and the tacos were delicious but tonight there was essentially shrimp pieces on my tacos and each taco contained 3-4 of these tiny pieces. The manager rudely told me again the meat was pre-portioned and she portioned the meat so "it's good". I told her it was "was not good" and asked to be refunded for the two tacos I did not eat. I was refunded but was appalled by the poor customer service. Anyone looking at the taco could see there was no shrimp on them. There was not even enough pieces to have shrimp in two bites of the taco-much less have a bite of shrimp in each bite of the taco. I was so bummed out because when I was in here a month ago-the shrimp tacos were wonderful and filled with shrimp. At $7 per taco I would expect there to be shrimp in each bite of my taco and not pieces of shrimp that were the size of the tip of my pinky. Shameful. The customer service was terrible as well. I will not be returning. It's really too bad. They could have solved it by placing a couple shrimp on my tacos so I could have at least tasted it. But instead they were rude and condescending. Don't waste your time with this place. Not sure what happened to the place in the month between my visits but it was not good.

My friend & I love tacos and wanted to try something new. This location is very clean and spacious. The strawberry fresca delicious as well as the tacos!! It's right across from Bootlegger and Las Vegas Outlet mall..def coming back for more

No WORDS. I had heard this Mexican food restaurant is not good but I thought I would try it for myself. Ordered food togo and accidentally ordered at the wrong location- I get it. My bad it was a long week of teaching 3rd grade . When the other location called and handed me the phone the young lady was so rude . She made no effort to rectify the situation and just kept repeating" you need to call the online order system" mind you I had ordered 50.00 in food and seafood so I didn't want that food to go to waste . Ultimately she hung up on me .. Former bartender and trainer decides to drive there and get my food . When arrived after trying to figure out the whom the manager was and get my food they all made excuses and said " not here" . So the long and short of this is... customer service goes a long way. I didn't want anything for free. I just wanted dinner after a long week. Drove across town after being hung up on 50$ later and no dinner. Do yourself a favor don't bother. Go to a mom and pop that actually cares and at the very least invests in treating their customers with care and compassion. I always love Thai food, or Chinese, or pho their is a difference in appreciation . Silver lining the other location redeemed the business on the way home . But as for this place hard pass. My hard earned money will be better spent elsewhere. It was busy unorganized and ambiance was ‍. No Thanks . I won't be back and will never recommend or take any friends to this place . Corporations are trash .

Our favorite place to get tacos! The food is amazing, service is great! I highly recommend them

After living in the area and always passing by this place, we finally decided to try it out and order the nachos and chicken taco meal. I was worried about the taco meal not being big enough because it only comes with 1 taco, but it was bigger than expected. The nachos were straight TRASH! We were the only ones ordering (with only 2 other parties already sitting down eating) and the nachos still came out ridiculously soggy so I don't know if they just microwaved it or had it sitting out, but it was mush. Overall the taco meal was pretty good, but the nachos were horrible.

At this place I experienced the most authentic street taco making with the fresh fruit drinks. They make everything from fresh ingredients & it create very tasty, unique flavor of food. They have variety of meat but the fish could be better in different way, it just too dry. Their hot salsa is desirable! Reasonable price!

This is one of the spots that I frequent the most because I enjoy their Carne Asada Fries. They put just the right amount of cheese, sour cream, Carne Asada, Salsa Fresca and the fries are cooked to a perfect crisp. Good size portions too.

Hello, This restaurant is the bees-knees. The fish taco -- outstanding. It's not your typical fried battered-fish taco. At this time, my brain isn't working well. So I can't articulate how great and delicious this taco is. What I will say is this -- you know how most parents tell their kids not to trust strangers? Well I want you to let your inner rebel loose, and trust this stranger on a website reviewing a restaurant you've perhaps never been to, and buy that taco and try it. The agua fresca -- refreshing. Thats it. The only thing that I am personally not a fan of is their fries. For me, a perfectly made "super-Fries" requires fries being crispy. The three times I order them, they were soft fried so they were kinda mushy and didn't lend the crispy texture I enjoy. This is just my opinion. But as I type this, I'm thinking I can probably request them to fry the fries well, like at in-n-out. I'll come back to this review and update it if I do end up ordering the fries again and it turns out amazing. Anywho, if you're reading this, good luck on choosing a place to eat. I know having too many choices can be tough. #1stworldproblems :). Especially if you're searching restaurant in your area and you are on page #72 of the search page lololol.

Went for the first time. Food was very good and everything tasted so fresh. The service was great. They helped explain the menu and suggested a delicious combo of cucumber lemonade. Restaurant was clean and the restaurant were very clean also. We will be back.

Server Lusy D was rude on the restroom policy, like I understand that u need to order first and then they'll let us know use the restroom, but how can u be so stupid that we're literally ordering in front of ur eyes and yet u won't let my little sister of 6 years old use the restroom smh

Spent $30 on small tacos for me and my girlfriend. When I got home, I was convinced for the first five minutes that I only got half my order. I'm now driving to go pick up food from somewhere else because the portions were so small and I'm still hungry. Save yourself the headache and go to the cart on the street corner. Better food and better prices there.

I had a decent chicken taco here once but went here today and won't go back. DO NOT GET THE FISH TACO - it's literally the smallest little minced up "fish meat" mixed with guacamole, lettuce a pico... DISGUSTING and $15 for ONE SMALL taco, chips and a Fresca that tasted "moldy".

This place wasn't even busy today at 12:15pm and a couple of things happened order mixed up with someone else's then wait for them to remake they don't have fish and that half of the order so we say fine then wait some more and some more then we decide to leave and head to Tony's tacos because they never fail I paid $31 for a juice I know it's a fresca but man I hate when TikTok hypes you up and it's a let down. Y'all try it for yourself but save yourself from this location cuz it ain't it and this is just my opinion you be the judge and no I don't want my money back or free food I don't do these for that fact I work way to hard for my money and to give it to a business where the employees don't care I'm not with that movement have a better day.

First time customer. It's May 5th so wanted some taco's. I had 2 carne asada and my wife had 3 mini chicken tacos. Quality was excellent as was the speed of preparation. Lots of other choices to try next visit which will be soon!

I love my vacations to Vegas so that I can come here! We LOVE the fresh drinks and drive some detours to get them! We drove 20 minutes to this location and once I got my drink it was worth it! The Pineapple Horchata is hands down on of the best drinks ever! My husband and I rave about them to everyone. It is definitely worth it to come here!

Let me front load this review and say I've spent many many years eating burritos and tacos all around Southern California for at LEAST 10 years. So, yes... I'm a spoiled brat. Also, this is in Vegas.. With that, I'm at 4.5 stars for for the Al Pastor mini taco. The Carne Asada burrito and quesadilla were more like a 3 star. BUT I am going back and trying again because there was promise! The burritos have beans by default, which I will avoid in the future. And the tacos/quesadillas with fancy extra fillings (lettuce, sour cream..) are not my jam. Mini tacos are where it's at! I will be coming back and updating :)

Many places selling tacos don't offer the variety of choices, like cabesa (beef cheeks) or lingua (tongue). The ones that offer this use meats that not high in quality. I love their mini tacos.

So far so good! Every-time i come here the staff always greets you at the door! I love coming here for the street tacos! Never a disappointment. Place is very clean and has enough seats for parties of 10 or more. Ill always come back!!

This place has always had wonderful salads. However the last few times we've been disappointed because of the grease from the carnitas in the salad. The salad is literally swimming in pork grease! I suggest sticking with the grilled chicken salad. It's a safer bet. It's good enough that we will return but I will actually make a notation for them to try not to scoop up all that extra fat!

Meat and Nacho Fries taste so good and if you pair it with some Jamaica fresh water (Hibiscus Tea) or Lemon with chia fresh water and you got your self a fully satisfying meal. I have had all there tacos and I really enjoy them all and the salsa is okay, it not that spicy. Remember to ask for lime they tend to for get to include it, not sure why. The staff is friendly. There is always good parking. The menu is diverse, but you can never go wrong with 5-10 small tacos one of each meat option. Call then or order via Yelp for pick up or delivery and enjoy. The only feedback would be to please carefully review the drink size on the receipt, since in more than one occasion I was given a small drink and not the large drink that I ordered and paid for.

Best burritos ever! Price is great, staff is nice, and I love all of their agua frescas. I usually order to go but sometimes when we decide to eat there it's a chill environment. I love that they have salsas on the tables so you get unlimited salsa on your food. 10/10 highly recommend.

My normal burrito spot was closed so I decided to give this place a try. The restaurant itself is clean & looks like its well taken care of. Ordering process was straightforward and the girl at the counter was polite. I decided to play it safe and order a carne asada burrito. The food took a reasonable amount of time to prepare & I left with my order. For $8 the burrito is a bit small, but I was thinking it has to be worth it because of the solid reviews. When I unwrapped the foil and went in for a bite, my nose was hit by a really strange smell. The tortilla itself smelled moldy, like it was stored somewhere warm and damp. It's same smell that happens when you open the washer after forgetting your laundry overnight. I went in for a bite anyways since my face was already close to it at that point, and the filling itself was just...bland and under seasoned. It's advertised as having avocado in it which I was excited about when I ordered, but its addition in the burrito was like an impolite guest- it brought nothing to the party. I ended up unwrapping the burrito, dumping the contents into a bowl, seasoning it myself and eating it anyways. If I wasn't starving and on my way to work, I would've just thrown it out, honestly. Overall would most likely never come back unless my or a loved ones life depended on it, or would recommend to anybody else that I liked or cared about.

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now! I'm so glad we finally stopped by today. The carne asada mini tacos were delicious. The street corn was standard with mayo and cotija. If you come here, you have to try the frescas. There are a number of flavors, and you can mix them together if you want. I definitely need to go back and try a different flavor next time. Oh, and if you're not full after all that, try the cheesecake chimichangas... crunchy on the outside, moist cheesecake inside.

The serving sizes are terrible. Ordered the fries and received two pieces of meat with less than a handful of fries. 50% of the plate is pico de Gallo. You are much better off going to Roberto's.

my order was incorrect like always and this time i was lied ... i was told i was going to get a refund more than a week ago... still waiting my $7.89 Pricilla lol ... is all good ... i will not go to the rainbow and tropicana location again. Is sad how i repeat my order over the phone 3 times (in spanish) and when i got there ... it was incorrect... the ord was made again and i left honestly thinking ok is correct now ... drove all the way to my office and it was wrong! Called and that's when i was promise a refund Is sad because is not the first time :(

Would love to see this place open on Sundays . That's my day to go eat out and unfortunately they are closed on Sundays . I will keep checking back from time to time ...but it's probly not gonna happen . Every once in awhile I can make a Mon night out so it's ok
