This was a special treat for us as we were not planning to go out for dessert but I was ecstatic to find Frio Frio after our lunch out at Revival. They have unique treats that still cool you off and hit the craving you have for some ice cream. Their shaved snow is very similar to ice cream, slightly firmer than soft serve but not as hard or creamy as typical hard serve. The flavor was delicious and the topping options are great as well. We have not yet tried the ice lollies but will certainly be making a return trip to adventure into some of their enticing flavors.

Went in last night with my daughters. About 6:45 pm. 3-4 employees, no acknowledgment. We milled around back by the ice cream cooler for a solid 5-10 minutes. Still no one interested in helping us. We left. Went to the ice cream shop in Osseo. It was awesome!

A unique frozen desert place. Delicious jonnypop like bars with toppings or shaved ice ice cream. You choose your flavor, chocolate or vanilla sauce and what toppings you like. The strawberry, balsamic and basil was great ! A unique and fun iced dessert! Bike parking in back.

Amazing ice cream with fun topping options. They were so sweet with all of my kids! We will definitely return soon!

In a nutshell, this concept is a bit confusing at first, but once you figure it out, the ice cream is BOMB! It turns out the ice lollies in the case can be purchased as is or with a variety of toppings. There's also shaved snow which is kinda like shaved ice - but it's ice cream! And if I remember correctly there are ice cream sandwiches and cocktails(!) We had the blueberry Greek yogurt ice lollie and a chocolate-monster cookie ice lollie concoction called the Cookie Monster. Both were fantastic in their own right. The blueberry Greek yogurt was smooth and had great blueberry flavor. The Cookie Monster was straight 🔥 it was some of the best tasting chocolate ice cream I've had in a while, and the toppings made it even better! And a bonus for being on a stick - these are just as easy to eat as they are delicious. Overall we enjoyed this unique spin on ice cream, the vibe was good, and although it's a little hard to find (it's behind Angel Food Bakery - they technically share the same space) it's nice because there's lots of outdoor seating. We're 100% gonna be back for more, we really want to try the shaved snow!

Daughter had the chocolate shaved ice cream w Oreo and rainbow sprinkles! She advises it was very delicious and refreshing!

The Strawberry Balsamic Basil ice cream is my absolute favorite. The crew here is so nice. The avocado lime with graham crackers and vanilla drizzle… tastes just like key lime pie. Don’t miss it. The cookie sandwiches too are so wonderful. Nothing is overly sweet either which is really nice.

Excellent flavor combinations & very helpful crew. We liked both the grapefruit/carrot/ginger as well as the pineapple chili. Makes for a perfect dessert after your Brito’s burrito!

Amazing deserts, you will want to try the all. I did before I purchased =) The staff is super nice and let me ask all the questions I wanted. Family friendly location that you can walk or bike to. I will be back.

Super cute and artsy place! It is located in the back half of Angel Food Bakery & Coffee (which also looks delicious!) They have 8 or so ice cream flavors with a variety of toppings. They also had some fun cocktails on the menu that I'd love to come back and try. I had the toasted milk ice cream, it was sweet and yummy. I was tempted to try the parmessan flavor but... Haha. The employee was friendly and quick. A single scoop was $5.75 or something close to that - comparable to other places. Worth the visit for a unique treat!

In honor of National Ice Cream Sandwich Day I wanted to review Frio Frio. This is a cute little shop connected to Angel Food in the Texa-Tonka shopping center. It is an easy location to get to and they had an amazing selection of ice cream sandwiches! I opted for the chocolate chunk cookie with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious! The cookies were chewy which is the perfect cookie for me! They also had options for alcoholic beverages and bowls of ice cream or sorbet. I tried the raspberry sorbet with fruity pebbles and strawberry boba and enjoyed it! This was a very sweet and tart sorbet so would not recommend anything bigger than a kids size or it can be a bit much.

Plenty of parking and super kind staff. It's in a super cute location with a few other restaurants. The ice cream was fantastic, I forgot to take pictures. I got a mixer of the toasted milk and coconut ice cream and it was wonderful! My partner got the mixer with tres chocolate and toasted milk and it was too sweet, but still delicious. I saw that there were other flavors that I wanted to try so I'll definitely come back and take pictures next time. The ice cream quality is fantastic!

Hands down greatest ice cream. Very much worth repeated trips. If you're lucky, Aaron will be behind the counter .He is friendly ray of sunshine.

So happy frio frio is open again! They have a wonderful selection of flavors, from classics like a fudgesicle to more adult flavors like the strawberry balsamic basil, which is what I got. There's a ton of seating out on the shared patio. Excellent friendly service and cool interior vibes with large murals tastefully gracing the walls. Only drawback was some confusion on where it actually was - it's located in the back of the Angel Food bakery, which is the storefront you see from the parking lot.

When we lived in Texas we used to go to an ice cream shop called Picole that made the most incredibly delicious and beautiful popsicles. We haven't seen any in Minnesota so when I heard more about Frio Frio we had to make a pit stop! The assortment is relatively small, but they also have ice cream sandwiches and shaved ice cream! Shaved ice cream was also something we loved living down south so we actually got that instead. Light, fluffy, and customizable. I got strawberry with Oreos and my husband got the passion fruit with coconut flakes -- both were the perfect after dinner treat!

Such a cool spot in the back of Angel Food. It opens right into the patio of Texa-Tonka shopping center so take your sweet treat outside! Basically it's a boutique popsicle shop, cool flavors with something for everyone! My boys appreciated the lemon lime popsicle with gummy bears and sprinkles. Check this place out!!
