Updated review: I appreciate that after seeing my review the owner attempted to address my concerns. Original: $6 for a block of ice. It wasn't exactly shaved. Wished we had looks at. Review before purchasing. But that's not the first thing you think to do at a park. We thew out big chucks of ice. 1130 on a Saturday

Tried it once on Sabine rd and it was great. The ice was very airy nice and soft and great flavors and the shaved ice was served on a flower cup. Came by today 07/08/23 to the Herman square location and I must say it sucked and it wasn't worth the drive nor the waste of gas. The ice wasn't like eating shaved ice it was like eating a regular raspa from Tampico. The Pina colada flavor wasn't Pina colada it was water no flavor and sorry to say but I wouldn't return and give my money away if I can make something exactly alike at home. I also didn't like the fact that I didn't get the flower cup and they can't say they didn't have any because they were in the front of the van.

I tried the delicious natural shaved ice in mango with tajin and chamoy toppings and was not disappointed at all. The shaved ice is very soft and isn't crunchy like a snow cone. The perfect treat on a hot Houston day! The owner was even sweet enough to give my doggie some plain ice. Would definitely stop by again

Pretty good shaved ice. Soft ice too. I just wish they would be a bit more generous with the toppings since they cost extra.

I decided to stop by here today and try the mango and peña colada both with condensed milk as topping. Yes the topping is extra which I did not mind at all but the amount I got was was less than $1 worth. I have to agree with other reviewers on here that the ice is not typical Hawaiian soft shaved ice. It was on the harder side. I had lots of hard chunks. The flavors were very artificial tasting and not many to choose from. This snow cone is pretty much your basic snow cone. I did not see or taste any of the hype. I'm sorry to say but I will not be back. For that much money $8 per large snow cone I can get a more flavorful one else where.

Saw this truck and had to stop after my workout, he was super nice and the ice is delicious and really soft. I got lemon/lime, blue raspberry, and natural mango. And omg it was so good especially the mango, it tastes exactly like a real mango. Would definitely recommend & definitely will be going back 🍧😋

I came here Saturday early afternoon with my wife since we love shaved ice. It wasn't too busy, just a few people in line. We were very disappointed with the terrible service and rude responses in asking about the flavors and rainbow flavors, not to mention the staff seemed to be fighting as they assembled the orders. There is only one size option for a high cost given the product , and only two toppings can be picked. Rainbow is only 3 flavors and you can't even modify one if you don't like it (like bubble gum). Finally, the flavors themselves aren't very good - not sweet enough and not enough like the advertised flavor.

Shave ice was good but did not give enough ice or syrup. The cup still had a quarter to go before the ice/syrup would have reached to the top. I wish I would have taken a picture. The ice literally melted a few blocks away. Like everyone before me states "they don't pack the ice" they give you a thin serving so it melts quickly. Employee seemed a little annoyed that I didnt tip. After paying 5 dollars and then not filling the ice and syrup to the rim I dont see any reason to tip you. Do not be deceived as I was by the pictures of ice and syrup stacked past the rim. I work hard for my money thank God Houston is FULL of options of places to go!

This was at Hermann park: Worst Snowball I've ever had. Especially paying $16 for 2 smalls. Natural flavors were good but the ICE, the "shaved ice" was like ice from a cooler or something. Felt like I was at an elementary school's field day. And this happened Sunday but I still can't get over how bad the ICE was. Shaved ice should be soft

The best shaved ice for a hot day! They're located right outside the skate park, so after you worked out all day it's a perfect spot to hit. couldn't recommend more!

So close to home and so good. Check Facebook for the location and schedules. We had root beer + cream and mango + cream today. The Mango was a natural option and tasted fresh. The root beer was a little artificial. I think I'll stick with the naturals since I loved the mango so much. Service was fast and the gal working was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!

Parked outside the Cistern and on a hot day, they are doing good business. Large choice of flavors and the serving is large. Excellent ice texture and you know you have a winning snow cone when you get to the bottom and there is still flavored ice left.

There are better cones around the city but because this one is located near the Bayou You're left with an overpriced snow cone truck to buy from bc Your toddler has played You out and left You hot and thirsty* They give You little syrup and of course charge You for extra! Not worth it*

This place is amazing. The ice was insanely soft, the flavor was amazing, and they were so friendly and fast!!! I got it while at the buffalo bayou skate park and will continue coming back. Thank you so much for the fantastic service!!!!

Excited about them serving our event tomorrow!!! We are having our Second Baptist University Model Homecoming and they came through to help make it a great event!!! Can't wait!!!

***Disclaimer*** I'm new to the snow cone thing. In fact I've only been to one other than Friohana. This is pretty much the only reason for the 2 star review here. 2 = "Meh. I've experienced better." Not to plug Buzzle's in Spring, but Buzzle's. The Ice: So this is pretty much the only product these shaved ice joints can figuratively, churn out. That being said, ice cubes are not the same as shaved ice. Now, it could have been because of the intense heat, but i had a half inch layer of shaved ice. The rest was chunky or just an entire block of each. The flavors: Blue coconut and tigers blood were good. There's maybe 10 flavors to pick from... Again, i've seen much more expansive flavor options The cup: okay this thing made eating a block of ice 10x harder and frustrating. Shaved ice would work fine in these poorly designed things, but ice cubes wont make it. I'd like a Styrofoam cup plz n' ty.

Geez for 6 bucks a pop you would think these things would have some flavor. I miss the other truck that used to be out there. Over rated over priced! No thank ever again.

This was the perfect remedy after going on a sweaty run in the hot Houston weather at Hermann park. People were flocking to this truck to grab a cold and refreshing sweet treat to cool off. They only had one size- small for $5. I appreciate the cup it came in- not ice cream cone shaped so that it wasn't melting all over the place. No sticky fingers! My boyfriend loved his pina colada snow cone so much that he proclaimed he'd go running every day if that was his reward after. He's hooked!

Friohana was a perfect treat on a hot Houston day. The shaved ice was a refreshing treat that was well deserved after my walk from car to their truck since it's over 100 on the heat index today. The shaved ice itself had a bit of a chunky texture which was more apparent as the Houston sun was out in full force. I rolled with the natural mango and strawberry because I'm not about that Houston sizzurp flavor. The mango had a strong mango flavor that resembled real mangos. The strawberry had a little more of a lighter flavor but still a natural taste that included bits of strawberry seeds. Most people go with the chamoy on top but that's not really my style. If I could go back I would probably get some cream to bring out the strawberry ice. The spoons are dangerously sharp for a plastic spoon. The thin curves were scratching my lips throughout the ice. My lip now has a slight cut on it from the spoon but it was still worth it.

OMG, I am absolutely IN LOVE with these guys; this is the real deal. The ice is truly as soft and powdery as snow, lots of syrup all the way trough and very reasonable prices. I had a small banana with cream on Thurs for $2.50; Sat I stopped by during the gay pride events & ordered a small strawberry with chile con limon for $4.50. I have figured out after talking with one of the guys that this is how it is intended to be served: in the pretty floral cups and totally bursting full of snow cone! If you catch them at Christy's Donuts, you will get the regular prices in styrofoam cups. Yesterday I decided to try the Natural Watermelon - let me say how much I LOVE watermelon but totally hate artificial watermelon flavor. I had a good vibe about the natural part and heard them say they take the fruit itself and somehow I think it's pureed and turned into a syrup, and they only half the amount of sugar as the other syrups. Seriously, I took a spoonful of my sno-cone and it literally tasted like a sliced of frozen watermelon that had been pureed in a blender; it was absolutely FANTASTIC!! The natural flavored syrups are $1.00 so my small came out to $3.00 and totally worth every penny. I am SO glad I have found them because I love sno-cone and shave ice is the absolute best when you find the right people that do it right! You really need to come out and try them; most of the time they are at the corner of Montrose/Gray in the Christy's Donuts parking lot. Other than that, check their website out for their schedule. You won't regret it!!

Best snow cones I've had in town! Service is fast and friendly and snow cones are extremely smooth. The syrup isn't too sweet, I've visited multiple times and I've never left unsatisfied. Mango is a must try, so good and will have you returning back for more. This is a definite go to place if you're craving a snow cone! I'll be returning all summer to get my fix.

With summer and the high 90s and low 100s looming over, it's time for SHAVED ICE! These guys do it well. With snocones/shaved ice, at the end of the day you're paying for the texture of the ice and the syrup. These guys upcharge the heck out of you, cause you're looking at almost 8 bucks for a large with their fresh mango syrup and cream on top. But boy does it taste great. The large should be shared, the regular is plenty for most people. The do take CC via square and crank these frozen desserts out quickly. If it wasn't for the high prices it would be a 5 star joint.

BEST snow cone I've ever had!! It is better than the ones I had in Hawaii, and I had lots of good ones in Hawaii! The shaved ice is very fluffy and soft, which gives the edge of making Friohana better than it's competition. It reminds me of Taiwanese shaved ice and it is not your typical icy crunchy snow cone. The syrup was just right without being too sweet or sugary. The cone looks huge but it's not dense so you can easily finish and crave for more. Great refreshing treat at outdoor truck events under the sun. Be prepared that the line gets long and they run out of their popular flavors pretty quickly!

Ever since I ended my long-term relationship with Sno Beach in Austin, I've been searching for a replacement. I think I found it... I first discovered Texas Blizzard at Food Truck Friday. The line was long but it went by extremely fast. My boyfriend and I shared a small mango (natural) sno cone. The smalls were quite big since they really pack the ice in - LOVE IT! This is the first sno cone truck I've been to that offers natural flavors (+$1, worth it). Most of the time, it's hard finding an artificial flavor you like since it can taste completely different from the actual fruit. THE MANGO IS AMAZING BECAUSE IT TASTS JUST LIKE MANGO. YOU CAN EVEN SEE THE FIBERS! I came back again today and had the same thing. The guys gave my puppy a huge hunk of ice to lick / chew on. She loved it. I also called beforehand to double check their business hours (you can't always rely on Yelp). No one answered, but I was going to take my chances. On the way there, I got a call from an unknown number. It was Texas Blizzard calling me back! Who does that?! Awesome people.

A-mazing. A few of us from work looked on their Facebook where they would be and went! They were at HEB on Alabama the day we went with many other food trucks. It was $2.00 for a small to $4.00 for a large. Decent prices! And the small is actually pretty big! I went for the half mango/half pineapple. The syrup was made FRESH from mangos and pineapples - can you say awesome? Seriously, I wanted to go back for seconds. Follow them on Twitter or Facebook and go find them - it's 100% worth it. I promise. :)

All in favor of renaming "Texas Blizzard Shaved Ice" to "Big-Ass-Texas-Sized Blizzard Shaved Ice," say aye? AYE. Because if there's anything you should take away from their name, it's that their shaved ice is served in big-ass-Texas-sized portions. Huge. I'm talking, walking-past-families, making-kids-throw-jealousy-tantrums huge. White Linen Night at The Heights was a humid, sweaty, hot mess this year, so TBSI was the place to be that night. Since it was a festival, their menu was a little shorter than usual and they weren't allowed to mix flavors (normally, they can). I opted for their Natural Mango, and I'd tell you the size but it won't matter because it was literally a MOUND. A gigantic mound of fluffy shaved ice overflowing the edges of a poor, plastic cup. Which was good for me, but that cup never stood a chance. As big as the portion was, the snow-cone was nothing special -- the ice was light and fluffy, the mango flavoring tasted natural enough, but there wasn't any "wow" factor. Nothing close to how I feel when I'm chowing down on an Ice Barn snow-cone, which is like pure, unfiltered, chilly bliss. If you're overheating, TBSI's huge portions will do the trick, but don't expect too much more than that. Unless you want to make little kids jealous, and I do enjoy making little kids jealous. P.S. There is a credit card minimum. $5, I think?

This place is good, not worth all the hype though. It's inconveniently located in Fitzgeralds parking lot which makes it difficult to find a parking spot without blocking another car in. The man that works on Fridays absolutely hates his life. He looks so miserable working and really has no personality. I was so excited to get the full experience, it's a hot summer day and I just wanted someone to pretend to smile at me. The snocone was average, got tigers blood nothing mind blowing.

Got to know this establishment when they made an appearance at the dragon boat festival and I have to say, they impressed me there, and since. I visited them again today at their "regular" spot, I suppose (they are a food trailer). Their selection is limited but the flavors are good. I like how the ice is nice and soft like Mam's, not crunch. Even more so, I like their wait time, no wait. We went after I picked the kids up from school and it was fantastic. Now, had they been next to a park, that would have been perfect (that's a hint guys). Also, not sure if they have half and half there but for their cream, they should probably use that instead versus diluted condensed milk because the cream they use just ads more sweatness to the flavors which can be overwhelming (another hint). Next time I pick up the kids, I'm certainly going back here so long as they consistenly serve it up nicely like today. For the price and the lack of wait time, the perfect combo. Great job guys!

Whoever gave these guys less than 5 stars were obviously toooo distracted by the heat. Life will never be the same after meeting these guys, their snow cones are THE BEST. Perfect fluffy ice with amazing natural flavors! Service has been great every single time I've gone to them, which is a lot. Now that they're at UH, my Tuesdays have been so much better. I think I go to school purely for their snow cones, is that bad? :) Their prices are cheap for the amount that they serve you with. If you haven't had them before, DO try them out and get a natural flavor! (It's a dollar more, but you won't regret it!) My favorites are: Mango, Strawberry, & Watermelon. = although those are the only flavors I've had.. haha Also, be sure to try them out before their season is over and they go into hibernation! A mirage in the heat of Houston. I will run after this truck like the ice cream man if the need ever arises to do so. I thought, almost $5 for a mango snow cone with condensed milk? Really? Then I took a bite. Best thing I had bought all week. First off, the serving size of a small is pretty huge. I have never tried shaved ice, a snow cone, ribbon ice, ice cream, etc. with this much authentic flavor. When I say authentic, I don't know how else to describe how close this tasted to a fresh mango. It was like I was eating a fluffy mango. I sampled the hibiscus flavored ice, but it wasn't my cup of tea. (Even though it usually is, quite literally.)

Texas Blizzard Shaved Ice shares a parking lot with a kolaches/donut store. As of lately, my friends have been posting pictures of their snow cones on facebook and instagram so my gf and I decided to come and try this place out for ourselves. Not bad I may add. We ordered the natural mango snow cone and added chili to it. I promise you it tastes just like the mango lucas candy we all ate when we were kids. PS. A large does not play here! It was more than what I could have handled. Lol. Definitely getting a smaller size next time I come here.

I'm going to join the other raving reviews like the trend-follower I am. You guys. This is one of the best shaved ice I have had in years. I ordered mango with lihing mui (sour powdered plum). Forget the sour shots offered at lesser shaved ice shops- lihing mui is the way to go for an extra kick for the adventurous eater. Service is friendly, but the line is super long at festivals. Enjoy!

Such a treasure in the hot Houston heat! The snow cones here are nothing short of perfect! I got the mango/strawberry small Hawaiian flower cup and my friend got the creamsicle/coconut with cream on top. The small Hawaiian flower cup was very filling, I couldn't finish it all. The shaved ice was fluffy and soft, even towards the bottom! All the flavors were delicious! I definitely recommend the mango! Try Texas Blizzards if you're in the area!

Every time I come across the Friohana truck I smile. It's literally one of my favorites in Houston. I was recently at Buffalo Bayou Park and the truck was there. After a long bike ride my boyfriend and I stopped here. I got the natural strawberry and mango; my favorite and absolutely amazing and refreshing. My boyfriend got raspberry and apple which was very good as well. They have lots of choices for add-ons like cream and chamoy, but I haven't tried yet because the strawberry mango is sooo good on its own. Their ice is the *perfect* texture. I also noticed they've upgraded their sizes which is really nice. I'm thinking about going to the park just to stop by this truck lol. A gem!

Been dreading the Houston heat since moving here, but if the dreadful heat and humidity brings out the tasty and refreshing Texas Blizzard then...ICE ICE BABY! Love this place and the fact that it's a great price for quality and quantity. We went when the truck was at Fitzgerald's and parking wasn't a huge issue (they were in a small lot, with some parking - but if you keep driving down the street, there's plenty of street parking). The flavors: all the classic favs along with some new twists. We got watermelon and mango which were delicious. Their syrup is all natural and the flavor was on point. Also recommend getting a topping (CREAM!) The sizes: there's small, large and "texas sized" which the small alone is a decent size, but we all sprung for the large - NOT a mistake/only like .75 more (why not?) The ice: best around in Houston; love when shaved ice is actually shaved and not crushed - perfect! They move around different locations, but if you follow them or check the website, they give a good calendar of where they'll be on what day (so you can stalk their every move and get in on this tasty summer treat!).

Pretty solid snow cones close to where I live! I came on a weekday afternoon when it was parked outside Christy's Donuts and there was plenty of parking and no wait! I ordered the small natural mango with cream and it was good. It was $4 including a 50 cent charge for using credit instead of cash. The ice was soft but not as soft as Mam's House of Ice Snoballs. I still enjoyed it though. Great treat to beat the summer heat!

Texas Blizzard is the cause of my snow cone cravings! Their snow cones are the perfect any time of day stop especially in this unbearable Houston heat. Tiger's blood is always a favorite, and their natural flavors are a must try!

Was really tasty! The ice was extremely soft and fluffy, not quite as soft as New Orleans style, but the closest Ive found in Houston so far! The customer service was excellent, she was nice and helpful in Explaining their menu. All the flavors are made with Cain sugar syrup, Definitely worth going to!

Quick Tips: BEWARE the falling ice. People hang around to eat, and I almost saw a few people get their feet bombed with ice falling out the side. I FINALLY FOUND A DECENT SNOW CONE! It's not as good ice as my beloved Austin Sno Beach, but it will do. The ice still has some annoying crystals. They have regular flavors and natural flavors (additional dollar), such as chocolate and strawberry. They also have different toppings such as cream, chile (?!?!), sour spray and chamay. I wasn't adventurous enough to try the toppings. You can also get condensed milk, which isn't listed on the menu. They are SUPER generous on their syrup. Since I chose three different flavors, I know you can get three different flavors at no additional cost! If you want to go back to elementary, you can get a rainbow, pick lemon lime, strawberry and blue coconut! If you really want a sugar overload, you can get wedding cake with condensed milk, it tastes like the cream in an oreo. After two scoops from my husbands, I thought I was going to become a diabetic.

Typically this is my fave place for sno-cones since they have natural flavors ($1extra) and chamoy & chili (also extra). But today ice was not good. Big chunks of ice.. not shaved ice. New machine? So not worth the price.....

The mango with chile con limon is mind-blasting!! Yes, my mind was beyond blown, it was blasted. The natural syrup with a spicy kick was the perfect cool down in the hot hot heat of Texas summer. It was a generous portion (although not sure of the value as you will see below). The ice is a soft, texture and the syrup was so good. No bland ice at the end. The shaved ice comes with a straw (so thoughtful!) so you can slurp it up when it melts and becomes a slushie. This is probably the BEST SNOWCONE I have EVER had. EVER! I had it for the first time today at the Houston Food Park at 1504 St. Emmanuel. The only downside is all the upcharges. They had a hefty upcharge today from reading the yelp reviews... $4 for a small and $6 for a large. That's in addition to $1 upcharge for natural syrups (Mango, Pineapple, Strawberry), $.50 upcharge for the chile con lemon, and alas a $.50 upcharge for using your credit card. We ended up paying $6 for this sucker. Also, only single flavors offered today v.s. splitting other times. If it wasn't so mind-blasting, I might have dropped a star for all the upcharges. This place would be worth checking out in their standard location rather than at the food park.

Believe the hype. God when it's this hot out under the Texas sun, cool off with some Hawaiian ice! My favorites are the "natural" flavors including mango and watermelon. Other flavors are still enjoyable. Don't miss out on toppings like Chamoy or cream. What does it taste like? The ice is smooth and not rocky or crunchy like snow cones from the fair. It tastes like an almost ice cream texture just without the fatty cream (unless you add some on top). A small is good to share for two, but these are good enough that maybe you'll want a large.

Holy Crap! Try their fresh fruit snow cones!!! AMAZING!!! Wish they were open longer though,, I don't get out until 7-8ish from work and they're already closed, I have to come on my off days or before dinner.

This just might be my new favorite snow cone place in Houston. Best part is that they use shaved ice. Now that's the way a snow cone should be like. I find it annoying to have to break down a huge chunk of crushed ice. Shaved ice melts nicely in your mouth. We ordered the natural pineapple and tigers blood, both with cream (50 cents add on). Folks, don't forget the cream! It does make a difference.

REJOICE! THEY HAVE REOPENED FOR 2015! I lahhhhv this truck. Yes it's pricey for essentially a sno-cone, but it's so much more than that. The ice is shaved, not crushed. Shaved ice just melts so nicely in your mouth. The natural mango is worth $1. I usually add chamoy on top, cuz once you go chamoy, you don't go back. The chile add-on isn't worth it to me as I don't taste much of a difference with or without it. They are really good about updating their calendar on their website/social media and also to let you know if something's up and they can't make it to the scheduled location. Story time: I went when they first opened and were at Christy's Donuts. It started to pourrrrrr rain. These guys said they would deliver the shaved ice to our car because we came out to see them in that weather. TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Hello Houston, it seems about time places are stepping up their shaved ice game and let me tell you that Friohana to me is currently on top. Anyone else out there want to try to take their place (please do, I want to taste the snowball battles)? I always get their natural flavors which never disappoints. I like these flavors like the mango, pineapple and etc... because it's never too sweet. The large size is HUGE and can feed 3 people. I do find it comical the large size of the snowball vs. the small cup size. The texture of the ice is also soft compared to some places that are a bit harder. This is a truck so follow them on social media if you're looking for them. Don't believe me, and then go try for yourself, # Sorrynot sorry

Oh my! It's the first of August and it's a scorcher... So my friends and I decided to grab some refreshing shaved ice to cool us off. We headed to Texas Blizzard in the Heights. It's their first day out at the new location on studewood and 11th by fiesta. The lot was relatively easy to get to and there's plenty of parking. There were a few chairs out there too so we didn't have to stand around for too long. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Though they were fighting the heat in that poorly insulated venue, they always had a smile on. I give them props for being genuine in their demeanor. The shaved ice are delicious. It was so good, I had seconds. Everything melts in your mouth (the good way). The dreamsicle truly taste like the popsicles I used to enjoy during my youth. The natural mango and watermelon with chile drives me crazy!!! I am in love with that mango and cannot wait to try more flavors. I heard the natural strawberry is to die for so I will definitely be back.

Mmm finally some good shave ice in Houston! Yeah there's the usual other places in bellaire but the ice here really sets it apart. It's soft and not made up of ice cream, etc so very good for those who don't do dairy well! I tried the mango and it was sooooo good and refreshing! Will definitely be back for the great ice and service! Only thing I ask is to keep up the good work and maybe add some fruits :)

My roommates and I found Texas Blizzard when we were searching online to satisfy our craving. We decided to give it a try since it's close to our home. This place is a little food (or should I say sno cone) truck right next to the Fiesta. They have a small parking lot where after putting in your order you can sit in your car to avoid the heat and wait for your sno cone. They have a several flavors to choose from but I especially like the natural flavors. Texas Blizzard has flavors such as mango, pineapple blueberry (yes that's one flavor!), wedding cake, blue raspberry, grape, etc. They also have about four or five toppings (cream, chile, diablo chile, sour spray, and tamarind) that you can put on your sno cone. My absolute favorite combo to get is natural mango with chile. I've tried other flavors but the one I keep coming back to is this one. The staff is extremely friendly which is another reason why this place is awesome. Who wants to deal with a rude staff? Ask for a punch card if you plan on visiting this place again and again. After 9 sno cones, you get a small sno cone for free.

Seriously... The best shave ice in Houston. The ice is not coarse or crunchy, but rather thin and light. Their homemade flavors are awesome. Not heavy or too syrupy like other places. People love the mango and chili powder, but my favorites are strawberry and pineapple. The owners are super nice. Be sure to pay attention to their schedule. They move around quite a bit. Just like them on Facebook and you can easily figure out what location to go to.

After yelp searching for a closer SnoCone option in Montrose (Mam's being a little too far), I stumbled upon Texas Blizzard. They normally park in the Christy's Donuts parking lot though you can check their facebook and/or Twitter to see where they are each day and what the hourse are. The day we went (a Tuesday evening) they were open from 1-7 p.m. Cheaper than Mam's and certainly as good, we LOVED what we had and ordered three snocones in all. The ice is tender and melt in your mouth, the syrups were generously applied but not overdone. Everyone's favorite was the pineapple upside down cake (combo of wedding cake, pineapple & coconut). Was intrigued by their all natural syrups which run $1.00 more.

By far the best snow cones I've ever had! The mango is delicious and all natural. Make sure to get the flower cup! It looks intimidating because it's a lot, but the texture makes it easy to eat! The staff is very welcoming as well. You have to try a Texas Blizzard snow cone!

Thank God these guys were serving up awesome refreshments on 19th St during White Linen Night. Holly hell it was hot, and I saw this ray of light directing me right to the truck. The servers are friendly and willing to recommend their favorites. A relatively small menu with just a handful of shaved ice options, and a few add ons to choose from. I went with the mango and a sour shot. Which was perfectly refreshing. You don't need the large, I could not believe how big the small was. An excellent little truck.

This is shave ice done right! In the blazing Houston heat, Texas Blizzard is pumping out cooling and thirst quenching masterpieces. Combine perfect ice consistency with natural flavors soaked throughout the ice and you got this. I am craving one just thinking about it! Tiger's Blood is what I got. It has a deep red color and tastes like watermelon, berries, and coconut. It was so good that I ate it too fast. It dripped quite a bit on the ground. I finished and then casually walked away from the scene of the crime. Texas Blizzard is now my new guilty pleasure.
