Frisco Diner

As a self-proclaimed foodie, I can’t recommend the Frisco Diner enough! It’s one of the few spots we keep going back to for breakfast. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine kindness. The food is incredible…generous portions, reasonable prices and quick service. 📸 Pictured: The Tex Mex Skillet and the Maryland Crab Benedict (both SO good!).

My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE frisco diner!!!! This is our favorite date spot. Every time we come here they either remember us, or they’re really great at acting like they do!!! The hangry jack burrito and the alamo are our absolute favorites. Everything comes out quick, hot, and fresh! Their biscuits are super soft and fluffy, too. I have never been disappointed with the service, or the food. I’ve lived here my whole life and this place is a MUST STOP if you’re visiting frisco!

Family breakfest/brunch at Frisco Diner, yes please! This was our first time checking out Frisco Dinner and we really liked it. I've included photos of what we ordered, and all of it was really really good. The cafe is a bit small but I think it adds to the nostalgia of the place. It was busy, mostly full and bustling with customers &workers yet we were still able to be seated as soon as we walked in. Staff was prompt and friendly and our food was delicious.

Very bland,everything from the soup to the steak $24 for a piece of carboard Chicken fried chicken breading just plain. cook needs to be introduced to spices like ,paprika,cayenne,etc. Good service though.

Fresh food and excellent service! Very glad I stumble across this diner. 🙌🎉 tacos and coffee were the best!

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times and every time the food is fantastic! Today we had Maddy T. as our server. She gave us great recommendations on what to try. She was very patient, quick and helpful. We will be coming back!

Andrea was our server. Made for a great first time impression. Very engaging personality and excellent service. Our son moved out to Frisco and we were out to visit as a family so this is our first time, but definitely will not be the last. We look forward to our next trip to the diner.

Waitress was very proactive in trying to find an alternate menu substitution for me. Thank you so much. Alamo Omelette was served quickly, hot—delicious. Highly recommend the in-house salsa. Alamo Omelette came with a ton of jalapeños. If you do not want a jalapeño in every bite, I would mention that when you order. I loved it that way though, and ate every bite. Looking forward to coming again.

Started off with a great cup of coffee and ended with a breakfast that was just what I wanted. A simple omelette and a couple of pancakes...just right. Wife had avocado toast and eggs. All in all, we would return!

How have I lived in Frisco for so long and not known about this place? Our 2nd visit today - both times were great! Cute and clean place, friendly and attentive service. The employees all seem happy too - like they actually like each other and working there. Today I tried the Napa Valley omelette - such a unique flavor combination that really works! This place is a new favorite!

Better than I anticipated. Food was delicious! We got a biscuits and gravy dish, pumpkin pancakes, crab cake Benedict. Highly recommend the crab cake eggs Benedict, they use real crab. Portion size is pretty big. Service was good and the space was decent, but not large. Great for small or big groups. Definitely check this spot out. 11/10 recommend. Till then, let's eat!

Great food and service to match! Tried this place after being tired of Barney's long waits. Don't get me wrong they're good, but this place is too! Frisco diner has solid food and yummy coffee. One thing to note is they don't make lattes or cappuccinos. Just coffee. But it's so good, you won't miss it.

Have you ever heard the saying, "You only get one chance to make a good impression"? Well, we had our first experience at Frisco Diner today, and it certainly missed the mark. Upon arrival, we were quickly greeted at the door and asked for a table for two. However, we were told that we would need to sit at the bar. I'm not a fan of sitting at the bar, so we politely requested a table instead. The hostess visibly became upset and, in an irritated tone, said we would have to wait outside for a table even though there were clearly open tables. The problem? It was cold and raining, and we weren't willing to wait outside in those conditions. We declined and decided to find another place for lunch. Restaurants are a dime a dozen in this area, so we weren't short on options. Unfortunately, this poor first impression means we won't be returning. It's never okay to make customers wait outside in bad weather. Their loss, I suppose

We love trying new places to eat. This was a great place with a down home atmosphere! The food was delicious like my Mom's breakfast! Food came out quick, not crowded, and eggs were perfect! Thanks Monica for making our first time a memorable experience! We will definitely be back as we have labeled this our go to breakfast spot!

Best pancakes in Frisco. This is a great stop for breakfast. The staff is friendly even though they are regularly busy. Their coffee is quite good too. I highly recommend.

This place is amazing! We came to Frisco for a funeral and needed a place for breakfast. We had the Alamo omelette and banana Nutella French toast. It was awesome!! We went there both mornings. The service was wonderful too! We highly recommend this place!

Went at 8:30am, it was pretty packed. The food was delicious, they had great service, my favorite part was the smoked ham and hash browns. Everything was fresh, the hash browns were nice, crispy, and had mushrooms on top. They had even given me some coffee to go. I would definitely recommend this place.

Mmmmmm mmmmm mmmm. Those buttermilk pancakes so fire they had to call the fire department. Monica was a great! Even played some table football with me. Great atmosphere and feel. 10/10 would recommend!

In comparison to other restaurants I'd give them 2.5-3 starts, but if you are comparing them to other diners I'd give them 4 stars. The name says it all "Diner". Not fresh, not homemade, a little greasy BUT decent prices, the kindest servers and a little of everything on the menu. We arrived around 11:30am and to our surprise we got a table. This place fills up fast and they don't take reservations so plan ahead. Our table was clean as were the printed menus (hooray!). Our waitress was so kind and immediately brought drinks for us and silverware. She was so patient as we waited for our whole party and gave us space to decide on our choices. Having checked out photos ahead of time I had decent expectations of what I was ordering - I STRONGLY suggest checking out images first or you may be greatly disappointed. I decided on a Panini - Turkey Cranberry: roasted turkey, fresh spinach, red onion and cranberry aioli - I skipped the cheese and put it on sourdough bread with a side of fries. My expectations were low and they were met. The meat was good, but there were maybe 2 slices on the whole sandwich. I recall a few pieces of spinach and the cranberry aioli wasn't your typical aioli, it tasted good, but they added something for sure as I got a horrible stomach ache after (I can'd do dairy). I wouldn't have ever chosen to come to Frisco Diner, diner food is not my kind of food, but when a friend chose this for her birthday you better believe I showed up! The food wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't come again. As I said, if diners are your kind of place I would definitely check out Frisco Diner.

Busy, family owned brunch spot. We always like to support a local business. Service was pretty poor-took order, delivered Food, delivered bill....no checking on us, no refills. Food was okayish. We will not be back.

Quick and efficient service, but overpriced. When asked if we could sub out the eggs offered for hashbrowns (moderate allergy to eggs, so can only eat them baked into other foods) we were told they don't allow substitutions, even for allergies. Food was hot, but not especially flavorful. Same size of orange juice was two prices. Unlikely to return.

Greeter and Server were extremely pleasant. Food was great. I ordered one of the skillet selections. It was a great choice. It needed more cheese but thats on me as i should have said that when I ordered since I'm always extra on cheese.

4th of July review: With so many breakfast choices in Frisco, I decided to come back to an old favorite in his holiday. Weird thing today, I saw they had a Patty Melt on their lunch menu. I went with that, specifically telling the two waiters (I think one was training) that I needed my bread buttered well. When the bread is just dry rye, it affects the taste. When my food was delivered, I could tell that the kitchen didn't take the time to do that and there was only a small ring of buttered area in the very center of the S and which only. The new waiter came over a minute after delivering my food and asked me how everything was. I very politely shared and showed him the issue. He concurred and basically just sighed as if to express a " awwww man, sorry about that", and then he left. No offer to remake He then went over and talked to the senior person who did nothing to resolve the issue. I ate the 1/3 of the sandwich with the buttered part and left the rest alone. When the waiter picked my plate up, he could obviously see that I only at the very center part of the sandwich. At the end of my meal, my full check was brought toe with no discount for my issue I lost this as I as disappointed nothing was done to fix my problem Yes, I could have demanded it be redone, but who wants to go that route.

Local to Frisco for years, this was on our list to try for breakfast! We weren't too hungry so my husband and I shared an order of the migas. The eggs were a little dry for our taste and the beans lacked really any flavor (unfortunately not even salt). We looked over and tons of tables had ordered pancakes so we plan to return to try other items on the menu but could not recommend the migas here unfortunately.

I'm Frisco visiting family and stopped by diner for breakfast. The food , service and atmosphere are excellent . They made my eggs over medium which no one is ever able to do but they did it perfect . Food was fresh and delicious. We may have to come back everyday until we leave .

First time here. Worth the drive. The kids, my husband and I...all of us cleaned our plates !! Monica was great. She was attentive & patient with us ! We will be back !

The best customer service in a thrivingly, bustling, Texas diner...! Great atmosphere...and very attentive staff. I needed some time to work on a sermonette and the host/waitress seated me in the best place. Awesome restaurant!

We were visiting the area and needed a quick breakfast. Food: decent Quantities: avocado was so small and the fruit bowl was a joke. 5 pieces of fruit, I usually get a bowl filled with fruits to the top in any regular diner, not 5 pieces.

Amazing breakfast and fast. Everyone is super nice and it has an awesome diner vibe. If you haven't been you need to go.

Always welcoming staff. The wait is never too long as this family know how to get the orders in fast, cook delicious hot food fast and keep the place gleaming clean. I love their omelets, I have sliced tomatoes on the side (and they don't upcharge for this) Kuddos for that. The pancakes are really moist and fresh all the time. Coffee flows freely during your entire visit. Overall a great local diner

As always, Frisco Diner is the best place for pancakes! Don't know what they add to the mix, but they are the best! There is always a wait, but they get you in quickly!

First time to try this little dinner and we were very impressed with the food and service. I had breakfast and my husband had the Ruben.

Frisco has a great breakfast and brunch place. Visited today for the first time. Awesome Skillets and omelets. And a big plus for the gluten free option on pancakes.

Today was in Frisco and found the Frisco Diner. Yelp had 4+ rating and we tried it! Boy was I happy we did. Walked in and the place was packed but the hostess met up quickly and had us seated! She was very nice and friendly. The waitress then came and got our drinks. After which I asked for recommendation! She said she loved the Chicken fried Chicken. I was sold and order that with side salad and Okra!! Wife got the crispy chicken salad!! The food arrived and as the waitress had said all was very fresh and HOT!! Everything was freshly made and tasted great. We had some time and watched the crowd and the place stayed packed the whole time we were there but the Diner was a great place to eat!!! The decor of the place was great for a diner and we will be back.

First off let me say that the staff is helpful, polite and very quick. It's a simple diner with corrugated tin on the walls with booth and table seating. Now for the food. It was pretty basic with hash browns that are comparable to the ones you buy in the freezer section at the grocery store. Probably could have had the same breakfast at any Waffle House or IHOP.

My favorite local diner. Great hash bowls, burgers, pancakes- you name it. Awesome spot!

Definitely not a classic diner but for sure has something for everyone. I got the BAT benedict (Bacon, avocado tomato, cream cheese, poached eggs, toasted English muffin and hollandaise) which comes with a side of hash browns. I also had to get a side of pancakes. The benedict was hearty and saucy, so good! The pancakes were melt in your mouth.

Not really impressed with the food. I got something simple. The eggs breakfast with hashbrowns and toast. The hashbrowns were kind of translucent like they weren't all the way cooked or they had just been cooked in too much oil. The toast was like the end of the loaf. I guess it's really just what you get with diner food.

First time trying this place out and I loved it! The hostess when we walked in was friendly. Our waitress was amazing! Very attentive, and extremely friendly! Wife had the two eggs with hash Ken's and apple sausage. Ask them to cook your hash browns a little longer. Makes them perfectly crispy! The southern Benedict was the best breakfast dish I've ever had!! Poached egg on a biscuit with a piece of sausage on top offered with gravy. *chefs kiss* The French toast tasted delicious! Zero complaints on any of the food!! Check this place out!!

I had a medical appointment nearby and was feeling like a nice big breakfast. This place showed up on my Yelp search and boy am I happy it did. Everything was excellent from the service to the cleanliness to the coffee and most of all, the food. Great robust coffee, strong yet smooth. I had the Southern Benedict (sausage patties on home made biscuits, poached eggs and sausage gravy. Every element of the dish was perfect. Delicious, flaky biscuits with the basic old school biscuit flavor you want, good quality sausage patties with a sage flavor profile, perfectly poached eggs and some of the best gravy I have ever had. There was plenty of gravy but the plate wasn't swimming in it. Think of the amount of Hollandaise sauce you'd get on a good classic Benedict. It allows you to taste each element of the dish. Came with regular shredded potato hash browns which is my favorite version and I asked for crispy, which is what I got. We found our new breakfast spot! It's a small place but we didn't have to wait very long to be seated. I had the French Toast, my hubby had the chicken fried chicken with eggs and gravy and my kiddo had the kids breakfast combo. We all enjoyed our food very much. We can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu!

Food is great, wait staff is nice. The place is too noisy. Hard to enjoy a meal 2 feet from another customer. Too noisy to enjoy your lunch break.

This is a very good place. The servers all do an amazing job. Carson and Monica are favorites of mine. If something needs to be done it's not long at all before it gets done. Without the manager saying a word. Great food and service.

We came here on a Saturday. The place is very busy. It was a quick turnaround. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. I definitely will come back and I do recommend you give it a try.

This is a neighborhood gem. Diner classics presented with a touch of sophistication without being too fussy but always delivered with consistency. The Rocky Mountain Omelette is my go to here. Always cooked just right without being overdone and dry. Staff is super friendly, attentive and the kitchen always puts out the food lightening fast. This place continues to be a weekend tradition for our family!

Stopped by as a last minute decision on Mothers Day. The young man at the door was so courteous and worked hard the entire time we were there. Got a seat right away - just two of us helped. Monica was our server and all was perfect. Good food...GREAT service!!

The best pancakes I have ever had. There has to be a stick of butter in these things because they just taste so amazing and buttery. My husband had the migas and I went with the chicken fried steak. I thought the steak was a little tough. The fact that the pancakes were that good just made it not matter that much

I popped in here based on the recommendations, and it's spot on. Great vibe. Yummy food. Fast service. I came alone but I really enjoyed my experience here. They do have long wait sometimes, so good to call in to get on the waitlist. My Classic Eggs Benedict was perfect! Savory, a bit of heat. All the other food looks great. Definitely returning!

Frisco Diner is a wonderful breakfast/brunch spot. Great food. Wonderful service. Staff is super friendly. If you're feeling savory... I've gotten the Southern Benedict which was amazing! Biscuits, sausage, poached eggs and gravy with hashbrowns on the side. If you've got a sweet tooth... I love the Very Berry Bliss French Toast. It is wonderful! You might as well be having dessert for breakfast but it's so delicious, you won't even be sorry.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. We had omelettes, pancakes and hash browns. The Alamo is so fresh with a little bit of heat. Ham and cheese omelette was very good as well. Potatoes were perfectly crispy but the stars were the pancakes and biscuits- Wow! Pancakes taste like a beautiful vanilla cake, light and fluffy. The biscuits were flaky and buttery and just so good! Oh we got the side of fruit and it was perfect all of the fruit was sweet and ripe and a generous portion. Actually everything was a generous portion and the price was so reasonable. We went two days in a row it was so good!!!

Delicious! The wife and I halved a club and Ruben. The Ruben was delicious very fresh! Our daughter got the blt and fresh fruit. Son got the chicken fried steak and okra. Food was all fresh and delicious. Think we'll come back to try the breakfast.
