The 38 Best Restaurants in Seoul, South Korea

"Award-winning baristas, a dedicated buyer for green coffee beans, and a famed baker joined forces to start Fritz Coffee Company, which is seated in a beautiful old space that was once a Korean barbecue restaurant. The coffee powerhouse imports beans directly from producers around the world and roasts them in-house. The bread and pastries, freshly baked every morning by famed baker Minsu Heo, are the pairing that Seoul’s best cup of coffee deserves." - Matty Kim

Where to Eat and Hang Out in Seoul, According to a Local Pastry Chef - AFAR

"This trendy spot reminds me of visiting a childhood friend’s home because of its traditional-looking interiors. You can even drip your own coffee, with the help of the baristas. Be sure to try the Berliner, a German brioche filled with marmalade or custard." - Hyunhee Lee

A friend recommended this cafe to me, and I’m so glad I came! I love the cozy vibe, the cute logo design, and of course, the coffee — it was really good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can pick whatever mood you’re in. A lot of people also come here to work, and they’ve made it super convenient with plenty of charging stations everywhere. Definitely a great spot to chill, work, or just enjoy a good cup of coffee!

I almost don't want to say anything because I love this gem and want to keep it all to myself. It is beautiful, the music isn't too loud like many other coffee places, but most importantly, the food and drinks are great. My only wish is that they opened earlier!

Cafe with good vibes nestled in the middle of concrete buildings, truly a hidden gem! Coffee is great and they have their own brand of merch and coffee beans to buy home. Only wished they could heat up the pastries cos room temp pastries are just meh.

Loved the coffee here But was a bit disappointed with the breads. I think they can do better with the bread but the branding and atmosphere is very top notch

Any time I'm in Seoul, I try to stop by Fritz Coffee; especially this location. They always seem to have nice merchandise but more importantly their baked goods are always delicious. During spring and summer months, it's nice to sit outside on the patio of this location and have a drink.

When we reached back at our hotel, all 3 kids had gone under the weather.. FML! Lucky for us, it was not that serious and we got some food for them to eat in the comfort of hotel room. Eventually both the adults became restless - so we decided to explore cafe scene nearby our hotel. After making sure that the kids were good, we took a stroll towards Fritz Coffee Company. To our delight, the cafe was located in a standalone house unit amidst skyscrapers around it. The exterior and interior were mixture of both old and new design and it was very cosy inside. Fresh pastries were replenished from time to time - and both of us took some time to relax our mind and soul with coffee and coffee bun, while taking photos at the same time. Walked back to our hotel happily after rejuvenating our mood.

This is a gem of a coffee shop that I’ve loved going back to again and again since its opening of this first location just over 10 years ago. 🥹 Amazing to see how it has blossomed by opening multiple branches in Seoul as well as leveling up their merchandises. However, their pastries and coffees have stayed ever delightful and scrumptious (their scones are my personal absolute favs). Note that it can be busy with a lot of tourists and visitors, but hopefully it won’t deter you as it is still worth a try for sure!

A wonderful café and bakery offering delicious, freshly made pastries. I tried the coffee bread and chai latte, both of which were excellent rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a treat.
