Fritz's Bakery

We have had so many beautiful cakes from them over the last year ! The Langhorne location specifically has the most amazing decorators. The cakes are also so delicious and I always have people asking where the cake came from after the parties. Here are a few we have got from them recently and our favorite combo is the lemon 🍋 raspberry duo for the filling.

I know they are known for their sticky buns, but their cinnamon rolls are absolutely to die for! Everything is always fresh, consistent and heavenly. Their cakes are also amazing, and not overly expensive. They have definitely upped their cake game, and are a crowd favorite for sure. update 8/14/25 once again got a perfect cake! love working with the staff, who cater to outlandish requests all at a fantastic price. my 7 year old villian loving daughter is speechless at her maleficent themed cake. it was made exactly as we requested.

Fritz made my grandmother's birthday cake-- it was not only absolutely stunning in appearance, but it tasted like HEAVEN. Everyone took pieces of it home to freeze. It was so reasonable in price and so gorgeous and delicious-- we never intend on ordering a custom cake from anywhere else again. Thank you, Fritz!!!

Every cake my family has gotten from Fritz’s Bakery over the years has been 10/10! The buttercream is sweet, creamy and rich, the cakes are moist and flavorful and the design work is clean and beautiful as seen in the photos below. Fritz’s recently did my baby shower cake which was my first 2 tier cake from them and it was stunning! I highly recommend ordering all your cakes from Fritz! Not only do they excel in cakes, they have tons of pastries to choose from, like their sticky buns!

I grew up in the 60s & 70s having their doughnuts, cookies and sticky buns when they were just a corner bakery in old Croydon on 3rd ave and state rd. We would visit my grandparents on Sundays and stop here for their baked goods, it was always a cherished treat. Like everything from the days of our youth, when you don't have it for a while and then you finally do again, it brings back memories of those carefree days; but sometimes there seems to be a little something missing. That's the only reason it's 4 stars in my review, don't know if they changed their recipes or my tastes were what changed; but one thing I am sure that changed is the suppliers and possibly the manufacturer of the ingredients used and that is probably why it has a different taste. Whatever the reason, they're still one of the better bakeries in the area and I will still enjoy the memories when I have one of their doughnuts or stickybuns..

We’ve had Fritz bakery make our cakes for a few events and they’ve always done a phenomenal job with the designs, and they’re delicious! Everything at this bakery tastes incredible, and never overly sweet. Highly recommend.

I am amazed at how wonderful my experience was with Fritz’s Bakery in Langhorne, PA. Firstly, the staff member, Nathaniel, who took our order, was professional, pleasant, and extremely helpful! I had a specific vision for my sister’s cake for her baby shower & they went above & beyond that! Everyone at the shower raved about the cake! Lastly, we purchased about a half dozen brownies that we cut into smaller pieces and the bakery provided liners for each one! I will definitely be returning for any reason that calls for a celebration 😂🩵✨🌙☁️

We visited FOUR times on a five night stay - it's THAT good! The hardest part was choosing what to get every morning. We had the cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting, sticky buns (cream cheese frosting and walnut/raisin topped varieties), and cheese danish. They don't have any seating, so we did have to eat in the car. Since returning home from our trip I have a lot of healthy eating in my future to make up for this, but it was well worth it.

I recently purchased a large tray of brownies for a party. The online ordering process and pickup was so easy. Brownies were delicious and a big hit! I will definitely be ordering more in the future. Thank you!

I have had a couple of their pastries and must say I really enjoy them. I have had their danishes and of course their cinnamon rolls. They always come out fresh and delicious and just unique and different than any other bakery I have had. You really can't go wrong with Fritz and is always a hit wherever you take it.

I have been going here for 6 years with no issues. However, my friend and I decided to try something different so we got the butter cake. However, it is not cake, it's a disgusting sugary gloppy mess! They didn't tell us it was sugar pudding texture. It is 100% pure sugar and gross. We couldn't eat it. I called and spoke to Chloe, and she wouldn't issue a refund. She stated that it's consistent with the quality of how they make butter cake and that's what customers like. Chloe is clueless and shouldn't be working there. Also, she lied and said it's a popular item, but every time I go there, it doesn't sell and there is plenty on display! She is the reason I will no longer be coming here. I warned her that I would not go there and she simply said "sorry you feel that way". This is unacceptable. I hope the owners fire her. She's probably the one that came up with the awful recipe! The only thing more disgusting that the butter cake is her thoughtlessness. This business doesn't stand by their product or customer satisfaction. She offered to do an exchange, however after sampling that nasty butter cake, we didn't want more sugary items. We wanted a refund for the butter cake period. I don't understand how this business doesn't put customers first. Chloe said that if she gave a refund to me, she would have to do it for everyone that didn't like the product and that was unfair. No, Chloe, what's unfair is that you won't refund money for a product that wasn't good. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB. It's too bad, the owners should realize that Chloe is just as awful as that butter cake. It's not the money, it's the principle. Also if there are too many customer that ask for a refund, there are bigger issues, Chloe. So, take the paycheck you get (and the money we paid for the cake) and buy yourself a clue!

Lots of staff to help the customers! Wonderful! I had to pick up some cookies for a friend that's in the hospital! I'm a big fan of the Florentines , they are quite a selection of cookies today!! We did pick up some sticky buns and cheese danishes too !! Gorgeous cakes for new years celebrations!!!

The cake matched my Friendsgiving theme! It was half chocolate and half vanilla. Didn't get to taste it but everyone loved it!!!

Everything is delicious pound cakes Pies danish and sticky buns and frosting is worth the trip. The service is great employee are friendly and helpful. When you go into store you are not rushed to order.

Ordered cakes here for a party. Customer service was excellent and the cake tasted and looked amazing! They will be my go to for cakes from now on.

I've been lazy in not reviewing Fritz's after so many visits. We drive over here from NJ to fulfill our special occasion baked good needs. Hell, we've gone over before just to get some other sweet treats, it's worth the bridge toll. They always have chocolate chip pound cake on offer that's great: it's fresh since it's a fast mover. Tasty icing and plenty of chocolate chips. You can get a good sized loaf for $9 or so and it's always a winner. Sticky buns I know are a local specialty. We liked them but prefer the cinnamon buns. Not sure of the exact difference but the cinnamon rolls were more pleasing. Their brownies are moist and a nice balance of fudgey : cakey. Birthday cakes are really where Fritz's shines! Give them a couple days notice and you'll walk out with a master piece that's sure to please even the most discerning, snarky, miserable people such as myself! Forget the grocery store or Costco, come to Fritz's the next time you want to make a loved one (or yourself) happy, special occasion or not!

Would I suggest this place??? Absolutely not.....stay away. This ensures that there will always be cinnamon rolls for me. Ok that's just me being selfish. I absolutely just love this bakery. It's a pleasure to just stand in the space and breath. The service is prompt and friendly. Every thing they produce taste amazing. But those cinnamon rolls are diet killers. WHAT A WAY TO GO.

I live much closer to the other location (Neshaminy). However, the last few times the cakes were "blah". I tried the Oxford Valley location and was surprised there was a nice change to the freshness of the cake received and the sticky buns. I picked up a chocolate chip pound cake and it was good. The service was ok and there was a little bit of a wait before entering. But, I'd say that was based up it being the weekend and the location size is small.

I'm picky when it comes to finding a great bakery, Fritz's it seems is everyone's go to bakery around these parts and to be honest I don't know why. They have everything but nothing exceptional! Nothing has blown my socks off, not even close, as a matter of fact I avoid them because it's more factory made than homemade and that's my opinion. If I can only find a bakery that can make great upside pineapple cake then that would be it for me.

Very good bakery. Went there on whim on Sunday. Co-workers of mine in the past have brought in some of their baked goods to work and they've always been very good. When we went in on Sunday afternoon they still had a pretty decent selection. We ended up getting one of the frosted sticky buns. It is a hefty size sticky bun for 2.50. What a deal. It was excellent. It was still warm and the frosting was melty. A couple bites and we were satisfied. Would love to try some of their other baked goods as well.

Butter cake to die for. Sticky buns are awesome. Everything I've bought there has been superb. Highly recommend this Bakery. You won't be disappointed!!!

Anything from Fritz's is delicious. The stick buns are exceptional and a go to item to bring to any gathering. There are never any left once they're put on the table.

Good place with lots of selections. We tried a few things- cupcakes, cinnamon rolls with glaze and without glaze and sticky buns. The sticky buns are very good with the glaze. Definitely a place we will come back to in the future.

I recently visited family for Christmas in lower Bucks county. I no longer live in the area and whenever we travel back home to visit, there's always a few places we try to stop - Fritz's is on that list. Our family loves their cinnamon rolls so I ordered a dozen for Christmas. If you ordered for the holidays before, you have to pre-order a few weeks ahead of time. I am giving 4 stars cause it was a tad unorganized. I called the beginning of December asking for the dates Christmas pre-orders would be taken and was told they didn't know. I asked if someone else knew, nobody at the shop knew. I didn't want to miss the window to pre-order so had to a call a few days to check if they were taking orders and thankfully after a few calls, one of the days I did call, orders were now being taken. That was a tad annoying/slightly stressful. If I missed the window to order, my kids would've been very disappointed. When I came to pick up my order since I was a pre-paid order I didn't have to wait in the line down the block. I provided my name to the staffer standing at the door and they got my bag, handed it to me and I was on my way. If you're a local or stopping through the area, make sure to make a stop for Fritz's!

We ordered a cake 2 days before our party with a pretty interesting "SpongeBob 16th birthday request" when describing the scene they automatically knew what we were talking about. I was breathless when they showed me the cake. It was so awesome! It was executed so well and was so so so cool. my daughter was extremely happy and it really made our day! Also, the cannoli cake underneath was absolutely delicious and had our guests going for seconds!

The buns are soooooo good. It's probably about 3000 calories of pure bliss... and if you manage to get a warm one, it's worth every day it shortens your life by eating it and then some. We're going back for more!!!

Yes, have the best sticky buns but the customer service in Bensalem is terrible. Oxford Valley nicer but these workers seem miserable and as if you are interrupting their day!

I grew up on this bakery - every birthday and holiday meant a cake from Fritz's. Their cakes are great and they are beautifully decorated. But let me tell you about their Sticky Buns... you won't be disappointed. The Cream Cheese Icing on top is key. Of course you can get them plain or with raisins or walnuts or a mix of both. They also have Cinnamon Buns as well but I prefer the Sticky Buns. I like the icing to bun ratio.

Purely based on some good reviews that Fritz's bakery has, we decided to take a chance and order a birthday cake for our party, just because this place was close to our party place. I spoke to the baker/decorator over the phone, locked on the price and sent her a picture of the cake that I wanted to look like. We were pleased with the cake, both in terms of the design and decoration, and also the taste/fillings. The detailing was pretty good and the fondant was not overly heavy either. I had to take one star off for two reasons, 1) the cake was a bit dry 2) felt it was a bit pricey for what was charged extra for the decoration and how complex it was. But I'm impressed they made it look exactly like how I wanted, and all this over a phone. Thank you Team Fritz!

Funny how this bakery has managed be right under my nose and I've only just recently managed to visit. It's probably to the betterment of my health that I haven't found this bakery earlier. :-) The purpose of my recent visit was to secure a cake for a birthday on short notice. While some suggested Costco or local supermarkets in the area, I deemed the occasion worthy of finding a recognized bakery with my trusty yelp app. For sure there weren't many other bakery options available in the neighborhood. Upon entering, everything looked delectable in the showcase. After a quick conversation with the counter staff, settled on the double Chocolate / Chocolate Fudge cake that did not disappoint at all. This double was so rich that the consensus was that a sliver was all you needed to fill your craving. The chocolate cake was definitely moist and the fudge like chocolate butter. While waiting for the birthday icing on top, it seemed like everyone else, came in for the various cinnamon buns that certainly looked great and definitely hefty. They will surely be tried on a future visit.

Visiting from Boston and came across this nice little bakery. Breakfast cinnamon buns were 5 stars good! Stopped in later that afternoon, got chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes that were tasty. Great prices compared to NE bakeries!

I am a big fan of butter cakes and there supposedly one of the best ones around but I thought it was kinda runny and I thought that the person who took my order at counter was annoyed with there job. I would have to say I wouldn't mind giving them another chance every business has off days.

I love this bakery! They have so many tasty treats to choose from and the staff is always so friendly. The sticky buns with the walnuts and raisins are the best baked good they have on their menu! I also like the iced cinnamon bun, its always so sweet and fresh, and warm. My daughter likes the cupcakes and the cookies are also one of her favorites when we come here to buy some baked goods. They also have tea biscuits and bread that tastes good too.

Needed a few cupcakes in the area and I found this online so I decided to to check it out. So glad I did because it was a delicious gem in an unassuming location/city! There were a ton of options from cookies to pastries to cakes and it is definitely a one stop shop for a variety of baked goods. The brownie was decadent and delicious, loved that the brownie wasn't too thick. My favorite was the cream cheese sticky buns and I'll definitely have to order more if I'm in the area again. The chocolate cupcake is a great option if you need cupcakes. Even though the carrot muffin is labeled as a "muffin," it can easily pass as a solid carrot cupcake. The only "bummer" was the peanut butter cupcake; somehow the actual cupcake was dry and flavorless, which was disappointing since the other cupcakes were not like that. But otherwise we loved everything else we got and can't wait to try more!

I generally love going to this bakery. I especially love their cinnamon rolls, however I have found recently that the baking/freshness is inconsistent. Sometimes they seem undercooked and doughy. Yet the last two times I have purchased them, they were dry and stale. Hope they can correct this.

I stopped in to buy sticky buns and a butter cake. When I got home and opened the butter cake, I went to cut a piece and there was nothing to cut! NO CAKE in the butter cake- just butter. When I called, the woman that answered tried to tell me that that's the way butter cakes are. NOPE! I'm 45 and have had many butter cakes- even from Fritz's! There was always some solid part. All I got was butter. Yes, butter cakes are gooey- that's a given- but what I bought had no cake. I paid around $11.00 for sweetened butter. What a ripoff! I have to add- they dd refund my money for the butter- and still insisted that this is the way they make their butter "cakes". You can save yourself money by melting butter and adding sugar to it. They shouldn't call it a butter cake- it's misleading! There is no cake- only liquid butter- it should be served in a mug.

Home of the best darn cinnamon roll you will ever have! I know people come here for sweet buns, but I am particular to the cinnamon roll. If you are in the area or Sesame place, treat yourself to a giant fluffy pastry! They also sell great cakes, cookies and cupcakes....but seriously get the CINNAMON ROLL. It is also next door to a good pizza spot if you want to get all your daily carbs in one shot. The service is always very pleasant and prices are reasonable. So head over here and.....get a cinnamon roll! :)

Frtiz's is a small size shop but they offer a good amount of cookies, cakes, and of course, their signature German sticky buns which are ridiculous. These damn things, so good with a cup of coffee. It was probably one of the best bakery items I've had in quite some time. Fresh, flavorful, moist, delicious, decadent. And if you're taking it to go, don't forget to get some of those containers of cream cheese frosting to go along with it! Aside from the sticky buns, they make really great cakes. I just ordered a buttercreme frosted chocolate chip cake with custom text and everybody commented how fresh, tasty and visually appealing it was. All in all, this is a top notch bakery. Buy with confidence!

Went around 11 am and bought $60 worth of goodies. Bought a dozen sticky buns. Half plain and half with nuts! I sent some to my sister-in-law before tasting. She text me that they were delicious even though they were "past their prime". I told her I bought them the same morning. I tasted them and they were dry and hard on the ends. I go one a month and they have never tasted stale or "past their prime"! That was embarrassing! Hopefully, they are not like that when I go back in a couple of weeks!

That cinnamon roll was crazy good at 9am. A few weeks later, purchasing the same thing at 3pm, this is a very different product. My guess is that it's from the same batch they baked off this morning. Crunchy opposed to fluffy. Icing different, these should be discounted like they do day old donuts... I'll either be here super early or not at all

The sticky buns are the absolute best I have ever had. My personal favorite is the mixed raisins and nuts; however, most of my family prefers the icing.
