Nice place with friendly young staff. Had to go back a second time because previously they got overwhelmed by too many people. Next visit I was there by myself and had time be offered samples of their products which were very good. Upon leaving, had to wait for the herd of cows to cross the road.

We were part of a tour group. They are all organized as they have a large area next to the store where they give an entertaining presentation on the history of that cheese factory. In our case they have us about 4 different samples to try. It is a very small installation and most of the cheese making installations are not viewable by the public. Regardless, if you like cheese this is worth visiting

We had an excellent presentation from Sylvie about the history, the process, and the varieties of cheese they produce. Included in her presentation was a bit of history of the islands and the farming that has occurred here. She also told us where it can be bought outside les Madelines and that they ship all over the world.

The service we received was top notch. We had to compete with a tour group, but the staff was attentive and answered our questions and provided sample products despite the busyness going on in the small space. It would pay to know basic French to assist with your communication with the staff.
