We recently had our cocktail hour and reception at Front and Palmer! We were absolutely blown away with how amazing the night turned out. Every little detail was perfection and exactly what we had envisioned for our wedding night. Rylee was so responsive and was so easy to work with leading up to our day. She helped execute our vision and allowed for a seamless evening. We will never forget our wedding night!! If you're looking to have a top notch party in a room full of character, YOU NEED consider Front and Palmer!!!

My husband and I hosted our wedding and reception at Front & Palmer in April and we are so happy we did. We absolutely recommend them - they are perfect for a city wedding! I had originally heard of F&P after seeing a friend's pictures from a wedding there and immediately knew I wanted to check the place out. They ended up being the only venue we toured as my husband and I were sold on it from the minute we arrived. The Fishtown location was perfect and F&P was very flexible in accommodating all our needs for the day. We hosted two ceremonies (Hindu & Christian) followed by our reception all in one day. Rylee and Terry ensured that everything ran smoothly and worked closely with myself and our wedding planners the year leading up to the event. The food was amazing and we heard from many of our guests that the flow of the event was perfect and that the venue was beautiful. Leading up, I had concerns that the venue may feel too small / cramped for our nearly 200 guests, however it ended up being the perfect size with a nice balance of feeling intimate without feeling too small. Lastly, while our room blocks were in old city and we had shuttles running to and from the event, my bridal party and I ended up staying at Archway Fishtown, which was the perfect place to get ready, allowing us to walk to the venue and take pictures along the way. Wish I could re-live the weekend and hope to one day attend another event at F&P!

I truly loved having our 11.3.2023 reception at Front & Palmer. My husband and I eloped in Spain and wanted to showcase our time their through a party here. We originally had been communicating with Lini who left Front & Palmer shortly after we signed our contract. We were connected with Rlyee, who was absolutely amazing. She as so sweet and took notes of absolutely everything. The food was phenomenal! We had people rave our literally everything. The venue itself is like being in an art studio. The vibe is emaculate. The only feedback is really something that was forgotten, which was pulling back the hanging down string lights and curtains near the dance floor ( I specifically requested it because I really hate the look of it. Otherwise, I truly cannot complain. I would have the reception there again if I could. The service was amazing, the staff were kind, the food was literally to die for. Especially the mini tacos and short ribs *drool*. We had paid for 85 people and had 77 show up! Lots of space for easily 50 more people with room left over.

Hosted a friend’s wedding at my home so I can’t get credit for finding this terrific caterer! The lead people visited several times, knew exactly what the bride wanted (which was a wedding ceremony in the round under a big tent, followed by dinner in the exact same spot)! This meant pre-setting 9 tables in the yard…and moving them in place while guests were milling around underfoot, and appetizers were being served at the same time!!! A beautiful happy cacophony! The 12 person crew worked harmoniously and continually - seemingly without need for direction… The bar was humming with expected activity, music was playing, and carefully, with at least 3 glasses per guest, ( the glassware so beautiful, it was almost like a table decoration!) tables of 8-10 were being carried to each location, and all done magically! In plain sight but almost surreptitiously! Not a glass fell! You MUST order the crab cakes which Nick made sure I had ‘almost’ my fill of, and some interesting and delicious rice paper veggie thing! Jackson at the bar, kindly let me cut the line to serve soft drinks to the DJ. The dinner vegetarian option was some out- of -this -world mushroom stuffing wrapped in pasta. Oh my! They professionally rearranged my kitchen to move in long tables for their use, we’re unfailingly polite and kind and even friendly as they were in the midst of plating 75 salads when I barged in the kitchen for tape or scissors or my make -up or some last needed item. The kitchen clean up was superb, Lynette made sure we didn’t need services any more when the last of the crew left. They might do 4 lawn parties a year and loads of venues. They took care of ordering glasses, tablecloths, plates and the like from the Party Center rental place, and in short, took a lot of stress and worry from the hosts. Kudos every one of you!!

Came to F&P for a wedding tonight. They did not disappoint. The staff is crazy attentive. Not an empty glass in the place. Not a dirty dish sitting around. Right amount of staff to serve the guest. Food variety was good and was good! Gotta love the miniature tomato soup and grill cheese appetizers! Great touch!!

Let me start off by saying: Amazing food! We used feast your eyes catering for our October wedding at Graeme Park in Horsham. The team was unbelievably reliable, respectful and completely catered to our vision - and then some. We had an introduction call about a year ahead of the wedding and from day one the team was wonderful. They created a menu that not only would feed 150+ people, but did it in a way we were able to incorporate dietary needs and personal preferences. They truly went above and beyond. We served dinner family style and it was a huge hit! People were able to eat what they wanted and didn’t need to look at veggies if they didn’t want to, haha. FYE also brought a popcorn machine at the end of the night. I could go on and on about how wonderful they are and delicious the food is. Our guests (2 months later) still talk to us about how this was the most delicious wedding food they’ve ever had. You won’t be disappointed with them.

We recently had our wedding at Front & Palmer and highly recommend this venue. Everyone knows the food is amazing, but so is the staff. They were very helpful and available with planning and very attentive the day of to make sure we were well taken care of. The space is unique and they seamlessly transitioned the space from our ceremony to cocktail hour to reception space. They helped make our special day even more special.

Yelp
Went to a wedding last night . The space was stunning. My friend looked great . The staff was spot on. Feast your eyes Catered the event. Parking is s but sparse but who cares when it looks as good as this. My daughter is getting married soon and I'll be happy if she pics this space. Food was off the hook good. Great variety and wonderful quality. Best wedding I've been to in a while.

Yelp
Attended a wedding here and was impressed with the ambiance and the food. A large open space that can accommodate any theme. The host and her staff was very professional and attentive to all details.

Yelp
THIS. VENUE. IS. EVERYTHING. My husband and I were married at Front and Palmer in 2013, and I've been back several times to photograph weddings there. I have always been impressed with this gorgeous space, and with the extreme attention to detail that Feast Your Eyes gives to every aspect of the evening. I could not recommend this venue more for anyone looking to have a wonderful, warm wedding experience.

Yelp
We had our wedding reception at Front and Palmer and we and our guests couldn't have been more impressed. We worked with Lini who was a true professional. She was responsive and helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. The food at both the cocktail hour and dinner were delicious. Our guests never wanted for a drink. Our guests were well fed and appropriately served through the entire evening. Ella was great and checked in with us often to make sure we did not need anything. Don't let the outside area fool you - the interior is beautiful, unique, and memorable! We added lots of string lights but it's the type of venue that does not need much to impress. The old wood floors and the artistic chandeliers add so much character. We honestly wouldn't have changed anything from the evening and would recommend without hesitation hosting a wedding reception here.

Richard R.

Yelp
This Venue site is Outstanding. My daughter Had her Wedding here and it was magical. The wedding planner Lini was first rate and outstanding with years of experience. She coordinate all outside vendors. The food was delicious and no rubber chicken here. As it was In fishTown, we used a trolley service to reach Venue from the hotel where we were staying. I would highly recommend this Venue Rich

Yelp
Adorable venue for a wedding. Enjoyed the appetizers, entrees, cake and drinks! They had 2 fun cocktails for the bride and groom too. The venue itself feels spacious and has the northern liberties vibe. They offered free valet parking for the guests too!

Jill B.

Yelp
Best wedding venue we have ever been to! My husband and I were beyond impressed with the level of service and care provided by Lini and Joanne. They went over all the details with a fine tooth comb and added great suggestions along the way which made planning a wedding there a breeze. Aside from the wonderful service and atmosphere, the dinner, appetizers and cake was INCREDIBLE. All of our guests still can't stop talking about the delicious food. If your looking for somewhere to go, get married here you won't regret it!

Yelp
Very cool venue in an inconspicuous area of Fishtown! I attended the inaugural Cooking Up Couture event at Front & Palmer on Friday night. The venue has several different areas which makes it perfect for a party that has to transition from cocktail hour to the main event. The decor was pretty industrial and open; brick walls, wood floors, exposed ductwork, etc. The only issue that stood out to me was the acoustics; the music and announcements seemed to echo around the larger room which made it hard to understand yet still extremely loud. Because of the location, I probably wouldn't host an event with lots of out of town guests at Front & Palmer, though I'd absolutely host some type of cool function focused on city dwellers.

Yelp
Remember those movies from the 90s where the obscenely wealthy businessperson lived in this awesome old factory space that had been converted into a fancy modern loft? You know, the ones that left you a little jealous and angry because, no matter what you did in your life, you'd never live in a place as cool as that? Enter Front & Palmer, with its open floor plan, exposed brick walls, unique lighting, and incredibly high ceilings. This onetime barrel factory in Kensignton has been reborn reborn as that so-damned-cool spot that you can now rent for your special event. Don't let the location worry you. This is a terrific spot to host a wedding. Front & Palmer has a large, attending lot and offers valet parking to help quell the fears of your guests who may not feel so comfortable about parking under train in Kensington. My understanding is that the spot is reasonably priced and the owners are very accommodating. It is a BYOB spot with a great on-site caterer. If you are planning your wedding, it is definitely worth a look.

Yelp
Our daughter was married here this past weekend and I am so happy to report that everything I dreamed the night to be came true! Lini, our manager and goddess, is the kind of professional that you can only hope to partner with for a once in a lifetime event. The space was gorgeous.. the food was so amazing that our guests kept saying... omg did you taste this???? Every single person there was ready to ensure that we had an amazing night and let me say we sure did. Thank you F&P for making our first wedding a joyous and stress free event!

Yelp
Front & Palmer - greatest wedding venue ever? I think so. Maybe it's because I had my wedding here, but it really is amazing! We worked primarily with Lini, the coordinator that comes with the venue. She was incredible the whole time, very quick to respond to all of our silly questions & concerns. Lini helped us choose menus, work out timelines and organize everything - I cannot imagine what the wedding would have turned out to be without her help. The staff was amazing. Throughout the night we always had someone (in a non pesky way) ask us if we needed a drink, wanted to have dinner, etc. it was so nice to be reminded to enjoy all of the food & drink that we decided on having for the day. My husband and I felt that the pricing was very fair, given all of the things included and the quality of service that we received. We looked at a lot of other venues in the city and felt that none came close to F&P. I highly recommend going here & checking it out. It's gotten pretty popular as a wedding venue and the accolades are WELL deserved. Thanks Front & Palmer!

Yelp
This place is located lovingly under the El in the Kensington Arts District. The drive? .....A little intimidating at first, I mean, come on....I felt like I was driving through the hood and prayed for safe parking. The parking was guarded and well lite and the building was very unexpected. The place is absolutely amazing inside, set up as a cozy loft setting with great staff, I was overly pleasantly surprised. Can I say that? Yes, it's a BYOB and the event I went to was set up great for food and drinks as well as dancing! We left around midnight and the guard was still at the parking lot, the entire area was well lit for us to get to our cars.

Yelp
I came to Front & Palmer as a guest of an event here recently and had a wonderful time. As far as venues go, it's a place that's off-beat, informal, and yet hipster-gorgeous with high ceilings and unique touches. Front and Palmer stands out as being one of the most well-run venues I've attended in years. The servers were all incredibly attentive throughout the night and made sure that we were all hors d'oeuvre'd, stuffed, and drunk by the end of the evening. The catering was simply out of this world -- though not a traditional wedding meal by any means, the buffet-style finger foods were incredibly delicious and left us with full bellies. I opted to park outside underneath the El as there was plenty of street parking, but my friends assured me there was also free parking provided in their lot. Free lot parking in this day and age of overinflated valet parking? Gasp! Ladies, be warned -- the only downside to Front and Palmer is that the wood flooring upstairs is fairly uneven with significant gaps between the planks. If you're unsteady on heels like I am, you'll definitely be tripping a lot -- not good when you've had a drink or few!

Yelp
I went to an anniversary party here. I'm from Philly so the neighborhood didn't phase me, although I could see it being intimidating to some. I had heard there was lots of up and coming places being renovated in the area, still I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. Well lit parking lot and gorgeous space inside. perfect for a small get together or wedding reception.

Yelp
I've never had to shop for a wedding venue in Philadelphia but I imagine there must be much better options for $150 +\- per person. The space is an interesting loft area but it would not be my choice for a romantic wedding. The location is in an up and coming neighborhood. Some guests felt unsafe or uncomfortable. It's fine as long as you stay inside or in the small gated parking area. The wedding I attended used the space for the ceremony and the reception. Due to the lack of space they had the dinner tables decorated and pushed to the side which detracted from the ceremony appearance. During the ceremony you could hear the traffic. If you want a wedding video, it will be ruined by traffic. First a very loud motorcycle and then the El. When the El comes through, the venue shakes a bit. Disappointing because it takes away from the romance of a wedding. The dinner was buffet style and the food was served out of very small white serving dishes. The servers were constantly running to fill them and it just appeared as though they were trying to limit food. Some people were afraid to try items because they weren't sure if they would keep filling them. I understand not wanting regular stainless serving dishes but this was not an upgrade. The food was good but not outstanding. At my table, no one filled our water or offered us drinks. However, they were good about clearing the plates when we were finished. Hope this helps you when deciding on your venue.

Yelp
The space is amazing. I love what they have done to the old factory but the food is not the best. I have attended 3 events and each time i was disappointed with the food. Most of the staff was great except for this one women who did not like to answer questions about the food. I think she was one of the managers. This is a beautiful space but the food is not.

Thomas B.

Yelp
Used to work at a wedding venue, and spent several years in the service industry. I understand how hard it can be for staff and management to be "on" all the time. Still, I was underwhelmed by the staff at this place. Most of the people who worked there were friendly. However, our main contact Linny (sp?) was rude to multiple guests of the wedding, going so far as to insult me multiple times in front of other guests. This was before the ceremony (and the drinking) started, so everyone was sober. Not sure what her problem was. The food was great, the venue is truly beautiful. Your guests will probably have a great time. Those who have to interact with management, be prepared for some unnecessarily stressed-out and stressful people.

Yelp
This review is over a month in the making, which is a disservice to such a great venue with such great people running it. We held our wedding there September 1, and it's pretty hard to describe anything about it as less than perfect. -Lead-up: Lini made sure that every detail and decision was accounted for. This resulted in some phoning and emailing in the week before the event to keep us in-line/on-track/etc. It was much needed, since, of course, we were all "oh no, we don't need to hire a planner," and we are incredibly grateful for the organization and guidance. -Setup: Everything was extremely smooth with vendors coming in and out; we really didn't need to think about it (save the arcade rental people leaving their units there--another story, though). Also, we were able to access the space to add some personal touches, though this may depend on whether there is an event on the day immediately preceding yours; in our case there was not. -Decor and ambiance: Really, it's hard to put it to words. The place almost needs nothing. It's incredibly striking what they've done to the whole property. It's industrial; it's rustic; there are extremely wacky chandeliers that suit the vibe perfectly. Over and over, guests noted that the space was very beautiful. -Service during the reception: I can't speak highly enough of it. Ella was our go-to person for issues big and small throughout the night, but really all the staff was extremely attentive and generous. Everything went as it should have with all food and drink, and on top of that there were some above-and-beyond efforts that really helped make the night more memorable. -Food: I don't know what anyone is talking about that the food leaves anything to be desired. Steak that can be cut with a butter knife, guests telling me they'd never had better potatoes au gratin, a wedding cake that was incredible, and cheesecake on a stick. 'nuf said. -Beverage: BYOB, which is awesome, and the bartenders were good and incredibly chill. To wrap it all up, I know we weren't the easiest couple to deal with (hopefully, we weren't the most difficult, though!), and every step of the way, the folks at F&P were helpful and thoughtful. There was a level of personal investment and interest in us as a couple (from Lini, who we worked with from day one, to the night-of service staff) that I never would have expected. Okay, gonna stop gushing now, but we are incredibly grateful. Best night of my life.

Yelp
I've waited several months to write this review after having my wedding there. The food 5 stars, the venue 5 stars, and now for the bad. The staff is incredibly rude, I've worked in the hospitality business for over ten years. Everyone that was at our wedding says how amazing it was besides the "terrible staff". From the servers to the bartenders, they all act like they have better things to do. If you don't like your job, find a new one. To top it off one of the entertainers we had at our wedding is a close family friend. He relayed to me that the "the fat older male server with white hair and black framed glasses" was complaining how our wedding party was a bunch of disgusting animals. 6 months later and that comment still fires me up, it hasn't been forgotten and I'll just leave it at that. One last thing, this place is not cheap, and when you book it you are told the place is yours for the night and if you want to keep the party going longer it's not a problem and it's so much for each additional hour. NOT TRUE, we tried to extend and PAY for an extra hour more and was told no because the staff was tired and thought they were getting done at 11pm, are you kidding me?! For how expensive this place is, and the staff that thinks they're way more valuable then they are, I'd consider other options. And watch out for the old fat server with thick black glasses and short white hair, guy needs to be put in his place

Yelp
Enjoyed attending a wedding of friends here and the venue really helped create a unique experience that just fit these two perfectly. The venue itself is pretty cool - super chic industrial and they pulled off herding everyone out of the ceremony into the cocktail hour so that the other room could be quickly setup for the reception. I was on insane amounts of cold meds so I didn't drink very much, but they seemed to have pretty nice offerings in the booze department. I only got to try one desert, as they floated around on trays and I always seemed to miss them. They seemed to really take care of the bride & groom and their family, so it was a really perfect evening. I'd be happy to see this venue on another wedding invitation any day.

Yelp
My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding at F&P almost 10 days ago and I still can't get over how beautiful the venue was, how well organized everyone was, and the food, yowza. We had about 165 guests at their wedding, and they all felt the service was great and the excellent food was abundant! If you are lucky to have Lini as your wedding coordinate, consider yourself in good hands. We live in Los Angeles and as a MOB, I was super worried about having to coordinate wedding plans from across the country, but Lini was so calm, positive and more importantly a great listener. She worked with my daughter and helped guide the process, while working with me as needed across the country. The venue is urban and chic, and by the end of the evening, it felt like we were hosting a fabulous party in our own home! To repeat, the food amazing, the venue awesome, and Lini - the best.

Yelp
Our daughter was married here on Thanksgiving weekend. It was fantastic! From the initial planning to the end of the wedding, Lini was professional and helpful and the staff at F&P were so accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious as well as lovely presentation, hot and perfectly cooked. This is such a unique venue with its chandeliers made from recycled items, it's hardwood floors, and it's open floor plan where rooms just flow into each other. We cannot recommend this venue enough!

Yelp
What an amazing place to have a wedding! Our event was simply perfect thanks to Lini and all the staff. Lini was such a pleasure to work with, from the very first meeting. She was always prompt to respond to any questions and made the planning extremely low stress. And she was everywhere the night of the wedding, ensuring everything was perfect. Lini and her head chef were very enthusiastic to work with us on our specific requests such as a custom Polish menu. Our guests are still talking about just how great the food was!! We also appreciated that the bar was stocked with local breweries and distilleries - great touch. The space is industrial and yet cozy, with a great cocktail bar lounge area besides the beautiful ballroom.

Yelp
Where do I begin? In the spring of 2013, my fiance and I were looking for a venue to host our wedding reception. We knew we wanted something unique (no ballrooms!). We booked appointments with five venues throughout the city of Philadelphia. Front & Palmer was our first visit and it was love at first sight. I had admired Front & Palmer for years before, having seen it on a wedding blog and always kept it in my mind. As soon we we walked inside, I knew it was the perfect venue for us. We wanted a space that we could transform to our vision and F&P did just that. The raw space is stunning - from the hardwood floors, to the concrete walls, to the lighting fixtures - no competition, best venue ever. Lini, our coordinator, made planning a wedding a breeze. Her sweet personality puts you right at ease and her knowledge of food, linens and events helped make our day what it was. Not to mention, how much she invests in her clients. She was always willing to email or chat with me and remembered even the smallest details about our day - despite having a hundred other clients. She will also hold a special place in my heart, and any bride would be lucky to work with her. Besides finding the perfect space that represented us, food was very important to us. I wouldn't call us foodies by any means, but we have high standards when it comes to a meal. Feast Your Eyes exceeded any of our expectations. We were invited to attend multiple tasting events prior to our big day, a night out with free food and drinks? Yes, please! We attended two and still had the hardest time picking the food for our wedding, everything is good! We narrowed it down and our guests are still raving about the appetizers and dinner (two months later!). I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is, especially for a couple who wants a non-traditional venue. We give F&P five stars but if we could, we'd give them a million!

Yelp
We were here this past weekend for my sister's wedding and it was such a fantastic event! The venue is really unique and I enjoyed the layout and atmosphere. The repurposed chandeliers were one of the many highlights to the decor. Beautiful hardwood floors. The staff was very friendly and ran the entire event flawlessly. Food was fantastic as well, both apps and entrees. Bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh, parking was easier than expected. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to have a special event in the city.

Yelp
Front and Palmer was our first and last stop in our search for the perfect wedding venue. My husband and I knew what we didn't want: your typical ballroom/country club wedding. We were getting married in the beginning of April, so we were looking for a non-traditional indoor space. Front and Palmer, with its rustic-industrial feel (high ceilings, metal beams, hardwood floors, cool chandeliers), was better than we could have imagined. Guests are still commenting on how amazing the space was. The food is incredibly high quality. Unlike many weddings, the food at Front and Palmer is not an after-thought, it's the main event. We received countless comments on how delicious the wedding food was. On top of that, the staff was unbelievable to work with. Everyone we interacted with was professional, responsive and extremely helpful. Lini was a true godsend. Truly, it was like working with our own personal wedding planner. She promptly answered all questions, gave honest opinions and advice, helped schedule out our event, and then ensured that we were running on time on the day of the wedding. She has our highest praise and you'll be in wonderful hands if you get to work with her. On the day of, we also worked with Joanne, who was fabulous. There is a reason we didn't feel the need to look at any other venues after visiting Front and Palmer. We cannot recommend this venue enough!

Yelp
Was checking in here to have my 5th anniversary and the staff was incredibly rude. This is a terribke neighborhood and I felt completely unsafe. This is supposed to be a renovated place and it honestly looks like shit. Renovated my ass, it looks like something straight out of that 70's show. I had their sampling menu for my event and it was honestly terrible. I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning. The bouncers are assholes, the staffers suck ass, and this venue was terrible. Please save yourself and go to an event space by Cescaphe or honestly anywhere else. My family and I have never felt more disrespected.

Yelp
I went to a friend's wedding at Front and Palmer. The modern venue was beautiful. The ceremony was very nice. Afterwards, you are moved to a smaller room for Cocktail hour, which was cramped (my friend had about 100 guests). It also got very hot in the cramped room (which I later found out was because the photo booth was sitting on the main air vents. It was hard to get much food during cocktail hour as well (and I heard they didn't pass out half of the food!) The music was never very loud either in the cocktail hour room or in the main room. Service was also lacking. Whoever was handling the open bar kept a tight lid on pouring alcohol and didn't have the best attitude. They cut the bar off 15 minutes before it should have actually closed and seemed annoyed at the guests. Also, towards the end of the night, they were indirectly telling us to get the heck out. I know that the venue is only booked until a certain time, but many of the guests really felt rushed by the staff to leave. The wedding was a lot of fun (mainly because we were with great friends) and the venue was beautiful, but the venue just needs some work on their service.

Yelp
Interesting venue in the city. Yuppie like setting with an elegant warehouse feel. We attended a wedding there are it was lovely. The food was incredibly delicious! I have been to many weddings at hotels in Philadelphia and New York and no one has had better food than this place. It was very high quality and simply delicious! Parking was easy and the staff was lovely and most pleasant. Again, the food is beyond fabulous!

Yelp
I had my wedding here a few nights ago, and everything was fantastic. Everyone kept commenting on how amazing the food was, and how beautiful the venue was. The staff was unbelievable to work with. They went above and beyond at every opportunity. As the bride, they were concerned that I wouldn't get enough to eat. They approached me frequently (but not in a pushy way) to check whether I needed food or a drink. Even my guests commented on how great the staff was. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. They did such an amazing job!

Yelp
Wanted to take the time out to report how amazing this venue is. I've been to a lot of events, both as a guest, and as a professional, and I can honestly say that not one struck me like Front and Palmer. When I entered, I was incredibly surprised, the design of the space is modern and clean, yet warm and inviting. The high ceilings and exposed beams offer this airy feeling that is hard to put into words. The floors are this rustic wood that makes you think they were taken from a barn or something, but either way they are really cool and make the place feel authentic. The lighting is warm, and the arrangement for the wedding ceremony was so original and inviting I can only imagine the pictures that came out of it. All in all, I'd say that Front & Palmer is a gem in Philadelphia for events. I have already recommended it to friends that are looking, and will continue to do so.

Yelp
The most amazing space with the most amazing food and Lini who was a phenomenal coordinator and so detail oriented. Our NYE wedding was a huge hit thanks to F&P!

Yelp
I cannot recommend Feast Your Eyes Catering and their Front & Palmer venue enough! Lini, the event coordinator was a dream and really helped put my mind at ease knowing everything would run smoothly under her supervision. I was planning our wedding from the west coast and only flew out a couple of times in the months before to pick flowers and do a tasting, so it was great to have Lini's help and advice. It really makes a difference having everything under one roof- venue, food, rentals, and service all included! We thought we were going to have a really difficult time finding someone that could provide a delicious vegan menu that even carnivores would love, but Feast Your Eyes chefs did an amazing job! We still get compliments on how good the food was! They can do anything The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, especially if you are looking for something unique that is sophisticated yet has a rustic feel and close to center city. Another bonus is that it is BYOB, so you can save a few pennies by bringing in your own booze while Feast Your Eyes will provide the mixers. Book your wedding here, you won't regret it!

Yelp
My husband and I were married at the Front and Palmer in May of this year. When searching for wedding venues, I stumbled upon the Front and Palmer online and after visiting the location we knew that no other place was going to measure up! We met and worked with Lini, one of the event coordinators, to plan the details of our special day. Lini was AMAZING to work with and helped make our visions come to life! She was always available to answer our questions throughout the planning process, had great decorating ideas while being cognizant of our budget. She was the main point of contact for the other vendors we brought in - band, florist, photographer, etc. - taking the burden off of us so that we could focus on other details. We felt very confident that everything would come together, and it did! Lini was organized, focused, and kept everything running smoothly on the day of our event. The ceremony started a little late due to transportation issues, but she didn't allow that to ruin our special day. She made sure that my husband and I, and our guests were comfortable and having a fabulous time. I highly recommend this venue as a location for a wedding (or other special event), and would without a doubt use Lini and the Feast Your Eyes Catering team again. Our wedding was a few months ago, but our guests are still raving about the beautiful venue and the delicious food! We couldn't have asked for a better experience in planning our special day and are forever grateful.

Yelp
My husband and I were married here November 2015, and it was just perfect! Lini was such a pleasure to work with, very organized and professional. Everything ran so smoothly on the wedding day because of her efforts. The staff at Front and Palmer were wonderful too; delicious food and drinks, and our guests even commented about how attentive the wait staff was during our wedding. The venue is so beautiful on its own with rustic hardwood floors and gorgeous lighting, and they are flexible about decor--my husband even built and brought in the alter. I cannot recommend Front and Palmer (and Lini) enough!

Yelp
21st Century Urban Chic! One of the most unique and interesting venues I have ever seen. Edgy, yet beautiful. Charmingly intimate. The lighting experts are extremely effective. The food was a 10, not a single notch below. So many offerings, all different, all delicious. The chandeliers are funky-spectacular. The wood floors are aged, mellow, tell stories about the history of the space. Even the Ladies/Men designations on the restroom doors are clever. Every detail of the space was interesting and fun to discover, tasteful and creative, fresh and new, fresh and old! The event ran like clockwork, seemingly without a hitch. I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to have an event in a space with tremendous character, run by people who clearly are professionals at pulling off events to perfection.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about Front and Palmer. We had our daughter's bat mitzvah there in October and I couldn't have been happier. I chose the venue because of the creative, artistic feel, with wood planked floors, tall ceilings, exposed brick walls, and fabulous hand crafted Warren Muller chandeliers. The space is great. But in the end, it was the food and the staff that made our party so special. The food was beautiful and incredibly good - I've never been to a large event where the food was so delicious - for weeks after our party, our guests called to tell us how good the food was! And working with Lynn and her staff was a pleasure - they are patient, kind, creative, and thoughtful. During the event all our guests felt well cared but I am especially impressed with the level of attention given to grandparents and other family members. The staff was warm and personal and really made our guests feel special. This is a place with an urban, creative feel, fabulous food, and personal, attention to detail service.

Yelp
I must say I was a little concerned when my daughter told me she found the place she wanted for her wedding reception - a barrel factory in Kensington. Once I seen the place I agreed that the venue was pretty cool but I still had reservations about the event. Since she was not a young princess bride she wanted a cocktail party atmosphere, with no assigned seating, butler-ed hors d'oeuvres, top shelf bar and a rockin' DJ. I must admit her new hip way of celebrating her marriage was much more fun than my old-fashioned way. The guests mingled immediately, danced all night and raved about the food, the venue, the decor. Lini and her staff were outstanding, making sure that everyone was well-fed, and having a great time. My daughters hope was that she would have a wedding that people would still be talking about days after. Well its been two weeks and we are still getting calls from our guests telling us what a wonderful time they had. I would recommend this venue for any event. Special thanks to Lini and her staff that worked so hard to make everything perfect.

Yelp
I can't even begin to say how wonderful our experience has been with Front & Palmer! From the absolutely phenomenal Lini (best wedding coordinator we could ask for) to the wonderful chefs - I couldn't feel more secure in where we have decided to host our wedding! The venue speaks for itself - it's so beautiful, rustic and chic. It's exactly what we wanted. The Front & Palmer team does a fantastic job of presenting the space, and the food is absolutely delicious. The service, council and collaborative spirit of the Front & Palmer team has been invaluable and has lifted a huge amount of weight and stress from our shoulders. I couldn't be happier to be getting married at Front & Palmer and can't wait until our big day!

Yelp
Front and Palmer is an amazing venue run by great, extremely friendly and trustworthy people. I recently got married here recently, and everything about the event was run perfectly by the staff here. From the time that we first saw the venue, everyone was extremely easy to work with and flexible. I can't think of a better place to get married, all of our family and friends had a great time, and everyone was talking all night about how great the food was. I would also like to mention our event planner and venue contact, Lini, who made everything go so smoothly and worked really closely with us to make sure that the event was just how we wanted it. She really looked out for us and came through to help us organize things and make decisions that were stressful for us, and made everything go so smoothly on the day of. I cant recommend this place enough.

Yelp
My husband and I hosted our recent wedding at Front and Palmer, and we cannot say enough about the venue, and specifically about Lini, the coordinator who worked with us throughout the process. When we got engaged, we didn't really think of ourselves as "wedding people," and we decided what we really wanted was a big cocktail party. Lini completely understood what we had in mind and went above and beyond to make it happen. She took our vision and brought it to life in every way, exceeding all expectations. From advising us on when to start locking in vendors to figuring out timelines for the night, to going over all the details we never even thought about, everything couldn't have gone better from start to finish. She also made sure to get to know all the main players (the parents, bridal party) and treated us all with such warmth and kindness. By the end, we truly felt she was almost as excited for our wedding as we were! But, let's talk about the space itself. This gorgeous and very unique room is both modern and warm, with some rustic touches as well. It helps you create a mood that can be as fancy or informal as you like. The chandeliers, the wood tones...we got so many compliments on how it all looked. As for the food: Anyone who has ever eaten food prepared by Feast Your Eyes, the catering company for which Front and Palmer is the home base, knows that they are exceptional. We had them set up two tapas-style food stations instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, and people just couldn't get enough. Everything was outstanding. The staff here is also incredibly top-notch. Many of our guests commented on the quality of the service. And as a bride or groom, if you are lucky enough to have your wedding here, they will keep your glass full, your plate full, and make sure you are taken care of in every way. Front and Palmer is by no means a "bargain" wedding venue (few places in the city are). But we did not find it overpriced, and frankly they could get away with charging more for what they do. This might seem obvious, but you are paying for others to take the work out of your hands and make the night run smoothly, from setting up to welcoming guests to cleaning up to packing up your leftover cake and decorations. We also got a full-on wedding planner with Lini, not just someone in charge of the night itself. We felt almost ZERO stress because we knew there were such capable people in charge. Lini also understood our desire to minimize costs where we could. She was very accommodating in terms of helping us find corners here and there where we could shave off a few dollars. This was not even something she had to do, but we really appreciated that she did. In conclusion, I'm glad my wedding is over, but I'm actually going to miss going to Front and Palmer to plan it! I hope someone else we know gets married here soon!

Yelp
I just planned and designed an event for a client at Front & Palmer this past weekend and it was totally amazing. Lynn and Skip, the owners, could not have been more accommodating. The staff was incredible, even the valet parking supervisor! The space is perfect for so many different types of parties and the food was outrageous. I can't say enough good things about the entire place from top to bottom. As for the neighborhood? WOW! What a transformation. Saturday night after my work was complete and the party was underway, I had an awesome dinner at a new joint about three blocks away which rivaled anything on Rittenhouse Square and actually was better because it was REAL. In fact, tonight I went back to the area to Sketch Burger for the BEST burger I have had in years (not to mention the fries). The neighborhood even has a Stephen Starr restaurant! I went to Temple University in the early 80's and sometimes passed through this area going to friends apartments. Quite different today. Think Brooklyn today. Across the street from the Front and Palmer site is the new Kensington High School for the Performing Arts. Brand new, huge, amazing building. If you are looking for a unique event space, definitely check out Front and Palmer. You won't be sorry!
