Front Porch Bar & Grill

We've been coming to the area for vacation for the past few years. Stopped for a bite to eat at front porch bar and grill for the first time after a long day on the lake. Richard was tending a busy bar and accommodated our large party of 11, allowing us to push tables together so we could eat as a family. He was the only one working the front, bartending and waiting on us and he did it all so effortlessly!! The burgers and fries were delicious and the drinks were great and never ran dry because Richard was on it, and he did everything with a smile on his face! So impressive!! This will DEF be a staple from now on due to Richard alone! Thanks bud!!! Can't wait to return!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would go back. Steak sandwich, cheeseburger, fries and fried mushrooms great. Jeff was very helpful. Very nice people. 👍

I love this place. The bartenders are the best. But, the DJ they had here tonight is so bad I wouldn't let him run sound underwater. My ears hurt so bad. 9/13/25.

We had a Wednesday special of wings and frys. Loved the sweet, spicy and garlic sauce. Service was great, definitely will visit again when in the area!

We had a fabulous time at the Front Porch Bar & Grill. We were staying at an Aire B&B about 30 minutes away, but read all the reviews, and we were willing to make the trip there, and boy, was it worth it! Our servers were both fun and professional. The food was phenomenal. And the atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. Thank you for a delightful evening!

Nice remodel they did recently. Completely changed the inside appearance and made it far more customer friendly. Bar is bigger and looks better stocked. They need to add some draft options even if only 4 or 6. I prefer draft beer. The hot pepper cheese appetizer and burger selection are great for a small place. Wings were good too.

Was told by several folks that this place had great food, especially the 1/2 pound burgers. Decided to judge for ourselves Expecting an outstanding burger the results of what my wife and I were served was more than disappointing. The burgers we where served was disgusting. After waiting 46 minutes to an hour for this supposed outstanding burger, what we received was a shocking let down. Our burgers where special alright, they where burnt to a crisp, the outside was charred black with a good hard crust, the inside was dried and tasteless! I know you have to take other folks opinion with some skepticism, but I was shocked that the folks that told me their burgers where delicious though they had received a great burger from this place. When we where ask how are food was and we told them, they did offer to cook us another one, but we didn’t feel like hanging around for another hour for a repeat performance by the so called chief! The waitress gave was a 3.00 chip for our disgusting meal. I can honestly say will never be used as that was the first and last time either of us will never step foot in the Front Porch.

The exterior reads like a roadside tavern and the inside delivers. A favorite spot for locals with simple drinks and bar food. Friendly staff made us feel welcome on each of our three visits. Looking forward to our next visit!!
