Passing though and decided to stop for lunch . It was a beautiful location on the water and served seafood , which is what we were looking for. It was a little before noon , got seated promptly, menus and water were poured. There were only several other table with patrons at it. I checked out the menu and decided on the pan seared grouper cake - creole remoulade, lettuce, tomato on a fresh brioche roll, and a side of fries. And we ordered the fried flounder banh mi special with fries. I was sadly told that they did not have the grouper cake it was a crab cake . So I said ok , I'll try that. While we waited for our lunch the restaurant started to fill up. Service was prompt , our sandwiches arrived fairly fast. The crab cake was definitely not worth it . Absolutely no lump crab , just shreds of crab - it had little taste - not seasoned at all not even old bay . It was slightly greasy too . The remoulade was poor at best - no depth of flavor , no spice , very bland. The fries were surprisingly good , nice and crisp . Never thought of sprinkling parsley over the top - a NFG- non functional garnish . The fried flounder was tasty , well cooked and mildly seasoned , same comment for the remoulade on it - bland . It had an asian slaw on it that provided a crunch factor. Glad we went early , when we got the bill , I was surprised that the crab cake was $3.00 more than the grouper cake . Not at all worth it . And not even told when I ordered it . Next time in passing though we will try another restaurant.
