I would probably give this place a 3.5, but since we can't do halves, I'll round up.
We had originally wanted to go to Rhombus Guys for dinner but they were full and told us we can order pizza from Front Street and they deliver it for free since it's just a couple doors down. We happily obliged and sat ourselves in the mezzanine of Front Street.
The decor is textbook Fargo brewery. Wood, brick, exposed heating ducts, and lots of flannels. The mezzanine was a fun place to sit, but there was some sort of machinery beneath us so we were literally being jarred, like when you run over a rumble strip on the highway. It was unsettling to say the least.
We each ordered a beer at a reasonable price ($4-$8 for most of them) and called Rhombus guys to put in a pizza order. Of course, after we ordered we were informed that Front Street has free pizza for their customers downstairs, so we didn't even need to order pizza. It would have been nice if we had known right away and saved $20!
The service was ok, but they didn't seem to care that there were people in the mezzanine. About every 15 minutes one worker would just make a halfhearted round upstairs before darting back to the busy bar downstairs.
They have events seemingly every night of the week, from open mics and comedy shows to BYORecords/open turntable nights. I think we would have had more fun at something like that, so maybe I'll check one of those out next time I'm in town!
Overall, I would come back to Front Street if I was with someone who really wanted to go, but I don't know that I would recommend it.
