We decided to eat here because of World Cup soccer. If anybody who is anybody watched the games this year, there was a local ad with the boy who thought that the chicken quesadillas were "De-LISH-ous", complete with ridiculous hand gesture that you couldn't forget. Being a fan of good Mexican food, we thought why not. This place was easy to find in Chicopee, and it was right near Dairy Queen which is good for dessert. One of the perks was that even though it was busy, we were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress promptly came up with a cart and offered to make fresh guacamole, which is always a treat. We especially loved one of their two sauces, which I found to be pleasantly garlicky.
We all agreed that the majority of the food was better than average but not amazing. It should be said that there is a lot of decent Mexican food in our area from being in a seafood state, So amazing is hard to come by.The atmosphere was comfortable and fun, and we would probably eat there again if we were in the area. From where we live, we can go down into Connecticut and have delicious Mexican food made fresh down there as well.
I'm always waiting for a delicious spinach enchilada to come my way, and I have still yet to find it. Despite the chain connotation, Chi-Chi's use to make some excellent enchiladas and I haven't found anybody who can match their enchilada sauce.
