"I reported that it was shut down for violating Gov. John Bel Edwards’s ban on selling drinks for on-premise consumption, and the state will hold hearings this week to review its suspended liquor license." - Clair Lorell

Had a fun experience deciding which flavor to pick! The Frosty Factory reopened in Lake Charles a couple of months ago after remodeling from the flood last year. Lots of tables and seating! Lots of flavors, and the bartenders were so great and patient! Stop by & check it out!

I only came for a frosty drink. I had a horrible Monday and was just boo hoo crying. I've been through a LOT lately and the dam just burst. I could barely get my order out of my mouth but I was being taken excellent care of by Kagan. He was so patient with me. He was kind and thoughtful. I was immediately served my drink order and off I went. I just wanted to tell everyone to ask for him because Kagan is absolutely amazing. Thank you for being so kind to me on such a bad day!!

I liked everything except, they don't offer a food menu and there was NO WAITRESS

We went on a Friday night as tourists, and because they said Karaoke. There was a $5 charge at the door, fine we entered. The DJ did not really advertise or promote Karaoke, we had to ask to sing. There is no table waitress for the $$ to enter. Apparently, this is a college bar that offers fruit frosty drinks. They were not announced, so we drank beer and did not try their fruity drinks. I doubt we go back. I sang 2 songs and we left.

Many choices. Pool tables. Wasn't busy when we went. They had slots also

Google
Wonderful atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, reasonably priced drinks, a diverse variety of customers, outdoor seating, and karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. They also have pool tables, shuffleboard and poker machines available. This is my FAVORITE bar to go to!

Yelp
One of the things I love about Louisiana is the ability to go to a drive thru daiquiri place lol! Frosty Factory has been here as long as I can remember but this is the first time I've been able to inside as an adult. The staff here is extremely friendly and gave me a full rundown of their menu! For your daiquiris there is a flavor for everyone & various sizes depending on what kind of mood you're in. So far I have tried the amaretto sting, hurricane, jungle juice, and banana split flavors. The amaretto sting has to be my favorite, as I love a good amaretto sour! All drinks are taped closed and covered, so it encourages you of course to drink responsibly and wait until you reach your destination before partaking. This is a great spot to come through for college students and locals alike!

Yelp
Eh, smokey and some loud music, so if that's what you're going for, it's probably the spot for you. Decent line up of flavors...

Yelp
A great atmosphere, I can say that The Frosty Factory has the best Daiquiri I've ever had. I tried the black cherry hill flavor. Only con I had with the place was the service. I hate to say that it was because I was black or a out of towner or something. But when I tried to order the waiter did not want to serve me. Finally a guy behind the served me after flagging him down. But great place for Daiquiri's.

Yelp
Great place to shoot pool and hang out. Week nights are quiet. Friday and Saturday nights have karaoke every weekend.

Yelp
It's probably the only real hang-outy bar in Lake Charles. There are fun games and karaoke and alcohol, so that's all you really need to have a good time. The vibe is very laid back and the bar is well stocked and quick to serve. Note: I don't mind this, but they allow smoking indoors, and I know some people are adverse to this.

Yelp
Love this place! Hands down the very best frozen daiquiri I have ever had! Do yourself a favor try the Pirates Punch. You won't be sorry. Karaoke is fun especially when Tim Miller is singing. There's a good hang out vibe in the place too.

Yelp
Alcoholic slushies, OMG! I've only ever been here twice, both times with my bff, both times using the nifty little drive-thru. My first visit was two years ago & the other was this year, just a few weeks ago (as I passed through LA on the way back up to MA). Both times, I got the Peach Fuzz. Both times, it was frozen peachy mouthsex. :D The bestie got the Pina Colada, & the boyfriend got the Strawberry. I didn't care for *their* drinks too much, but I'm pretty picky about my alcohol (I also rarely have it, & when I do it's usually something fruity, so I might not be the best judge of these things). Anyway, it was quick & everybody enjoyed their respective drinks... I was a little confused as to why all of our cups had "Pina" written on them in pen & crossed out, but whatevs. There's a place next door that sells pretty much the same thing as these guys, but I've never been there. The only thing I know is that their Peach Fuzz has a different name, according to the menu. :P

Yelp
Geez... the flavor was great and I was disappointed at first because I couldnt taste the liquor..... then I felt it. The hurricane was not overly sweet which makes it comoletely tolerabke. If Im passing through Lake Charles, Ill be back.

Yelp
This place used to be fun but it has really gone downhill. The smoke will choke you and the daquiris are weak. The last time I went my (lightweight) wife ordered a large with a double shot and was sober as a judge when she finished. I went to get her another with a extra shot and watched the guy pretend to pour the extra shot out of an empty bottle.

Yelp
Really?!? Michelob Ultra is $3.50 because it's an import? In whose world? Says right on the bottle "St Louis, MO". That's just crazy.
