First time here. First off, restaurant was clean, bathroom clean, smelled good, fully stocked, meaning they got it together🙏🏾❤️. Employee Jasmin took our order. We ordered chili cheese fries and chili cheese pastrami small strawberries lemonade 🤤😋❤️ yes we was hungry 🤤 and worked all day lol 😂 🙏🏾❤️ Jasmin was very nice, her smile was real, her energy is good to be around, she was on point with all orders, we didn’t wait long for our order, the guys in the back was handling their business and on point🙏🏾❤️, you can smell the food outside, oh, and they do have a drive-thru. Our food was good, hot and fresh, our drink was fresh, we are eating real food. Thank you guys, Jasmin 🙏🏾❤️👏 yall rock, We will be back especially for them bananas splits 😋❤️, them Turkey Burgers 🍔😋❤️

Chicken salad was good. Taco was not. Zucchini fries were awesome. Fish was delicious. Chicken strips were ok. They need better bathrooms and dining area.

I don't know if they changed management recently, but I saw ALL NEW PEOPLE THERE last night, and NONE WERE ANY GOOD.... I ENDED UP WITH FOOD POISONING at 3am, and was sick as a dog for HOURS .... This totally ruined my Thursday and Thursday night 🌃, As I still feel funky and cancelled on a MOVIE 🍿🍿🎥 DATE, with my daughter (To see GLADIATOR 2, on it's opening night!) Had an amazing experience at Frosty Queen! The burgers were juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of crisp on the fries. The milkshakes were the perfect creamy treat- especially the classic vanilla. Service was quick and friendly, and the retro vibe added a fun, cozy touch. My sister and I came to this restaurant because they have the best food in the area. We wanted a salad and you get what you pay for, and it’s delicious. The owner greeted us at the window. Kind, professional, engaging and just overall excellent service. Noticed additional items at the pickup window including a pastrami sandwich and a Dubai Milkshake. He engaged with us regarding the details and promised the items wouldn’t disappoint. We purchased and he was right. The food here is AMAZING and the service is second to none. Thank you Frosty Queen! Where have you been? My first time visiting this place, and I loved it. Their menu is excellent with a variety of food, you can order it to your taste. They have dinners, lunch any way you want and oh my God the sides... Let me tell you being 70.I appreciate places that fix my food the way I want it, not what they want to give me. On the way out treat yourself to a delicious Ice cream sundaes any way you want it.

Yesterday, my husband and I impulsively decided to stop at this place after ran errands and we were too hungry to think of what we want to eat and we saw this place and went for it.... We are both very pleasant with how delicious our burgers and fries were! And the staff who works there is very gentleman and very friendly with us. We definitely recommend this place for quick bites. And we will definitely be back!

Best burger joint in Sacramento handsdown been to plenty of burger joints around Sac my favourite used to be jolly cone in West Sacramento but this one just took first place. The burgers are very well seasoned and very well put together the fries are very well done and the seasoning is amazing. They have crushed ice also which compliments the meal. I live in North sac and this restaurant is in South sac , but the food is so good that I don’t mind the drive, And not to mention the chicken wing basket is top-notch.

Decided to look for a old school burger location. After a few places being closed we ended up here at Frosty Queen. Burgers are flavorful and tasty. Reminded me of an old A&W burger. Onion rings are good and the fries were as well. Everything is made to order fresh and hot! Staff is friendly and fast. FYI, the menu is huge and they have everything you can think of from fried okra to burritos to sandwiches and ice cream. 3 full combos for $38 not bad. We'll be back!

i already left my horrible review, but now i'm making it worse because the customer service guy, Russ T, wasn't the best as he messaged me about my review about a week later (today, march 28) and he wasn't responding nicely, it also took him very long to respond. I have also screenshotted our conversation shown below i'm sure.

If it was up to me I would give this place a 0 stars. We had the worst costumer service from employee Jasmine. We had a long day at our son's state tournament and our kids were hungry and we decided what we had thought would be a great idea to try this place. As I was trying to order Jasmine was giving us an attitude after trying to start my order. This place lost money we decided to leave and I did tell the employee she had a bad attitude to cancel my order and let her know that caused us to leave. We ended up going to jack in the box across the street we spend over $100 on our order it was all worth it! They treated us well, fresh food and fast service. I hope their employee Jasmine has better days. We do not recommend this place to anyone!

The food was so delicious tht I legitimately didn't want to stop eating it.. First time ever coming here but I'm sure glad I did .. it definitely hit all the right spots

For a typical diner style drive-through food...it's absolutely amazing. I love the fact that they don't serve any pork products. The bacon is beef. I really like how they have an array of different items you can order from hamburgers to burritos, fried fish, pastrami sandwiches, Philly-steak sandwiches, fried okra, fried pickles, grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken nuggets, banana splits, ice cream cones, sundaes and of course my favorite Shrimp Salad. Their ingredients seem to be extremely fresh. The service is a lovely, very professional and kind people. I would strongly recommend this to all my friends and family.

Dubai milk shake is SOOOO GOOOD . 10/10 recommend it if you guys are confused on which milk shake to get

Frosty queen was perfect after our son's tball game. Kiddos got sundaes, I got a dipped cone and hubby got a burger. Guy working was very nice and patient since we had a ton of questions. Restaurant was clean, floors were a bit sticky but other than that everything was good.

This review has nothing to do with the food because it is good. My problem is with the cashier taking the order, they do not know WTF they are doing 95% of the time. They always get it wrong even after repeating over to them to make sure it is right. And even repeating again at the window. Get it right do more training something because I have been 3 times in 1 week and every time it is something. SMFH

I got that good a** #PhillyCheeseSteakCombo refered by a real one great reliable source...It was bussin too on J.C. 11-13!! And I rode to the dental office and that thing was still hot!! Fries done right and plenty of ketchup and napkins, great customer service!! I tasted my lil myadee banana smoothie and that wastoo so you know she got taxedOnly thing that was lacking was that watered down Dr.Pepper but other than that everything was handling and would refer it to anyone in Sac for a fast meal on the goal at a great price that set my stomach right...had me fat,full,and satisfied!! They open on holiday today which is good. But the floor is sticky. You have to ask for napkins, tray, ketchup which I think these should be left out for customers self service

Food is good. Service is good considering it is fast food. Food always comes out hot and fresh. The Philly cheesesteak is a favorite of ours. And I also love that they have pepperoncini. They have a large menu. They do charge a credit card fee on .50 cents which is illegal to do in the state of California so they should really be careful with that. (I also didn't use a credit card, I used a debit card)

I've been here multiple times and the last few times I've been here my orders have been completely horrible. I tried to call the phone number and it goes to voicemail and can't even leave one called several times.. I ordered the number seven The meat was so stringy. I had a cartilage on it. I'm pregnant. I couldn't even finish the whole burger without wanting to puke.

The food is always hot and good but today my husband and I stopped in to eat lunch before his doctor's appt. As I was reviewing the receipt while waiting for our food I noticed we were overcharhed by $1 on my meal. The menu said that a 2 piece chicken basket was $7.99 but on the receipt I was charged $8.99. I brought the discrepancy up to the cashier and all she could say was that the register tells her what to charge and then just stood there. I asked for a manager and he came to the counter and looked at the register and told me we need to change our prices on the menu. Most customer service oriented businesses will usually honor the price listed. We were going to order dessert to go but I told my husband I'd rather not cause of the way the situation was handled and I don't trust their pricing. We come here once every 2-3 months so I'll think twice about stopping here in the future.

Customer service rep left a "sorry" on my review but then messaged me privately with a ridiculous question. If you can't handle criticism, you shouldn't be working in a restaurant. Your food tastes as bad as your breath smells. NEGATIVE STARS!!

They are not friendly, can't follow a simple order then get angry at you if they are wrong. First burger...I was super specific. Tom, Onion, mayo...on TOP of the cheese. Came back with also pickle, and nasty shredded lettuce and a orange pink sauce...on the bottom. I showed him. Very politely, a.imed, said, This isn't what I ordered. He scowled at me. Said then you order it plain. No, ya don't, not in this country, this culture. I said nothing. Next burger, dry on top, no mayo. Got out of the car and asked for mayo. Not upset...they are just stupid, I thought. Went back, opened the sandwich to fix it myself and the cheese, Tom Onion and no mayo stretched only to just over the middle of the burger. 40% was dry with Nothing on it. I took it in. First I said, I don't want anything ,but look at this, it was slop and then I noticed congealed mayonnaise glop UNDER the cardboard thin burger. He snapped at me and said, it's not that big of deal. Really??? $15 fir a burger and shake plus top and they gave me this....probably on purpose. I give you your money, you don't come back here again. I never told him he was an a-hooool , so ignorant can't get a burgervright twice, while I happen to be an educator. Have pride in your work even if that's all you can do and cant do it right. And you can ALL bash me but as a woman, I was bullied here. No doubt?!??! I said, I didn't want money, I wanted a hamburger and I left that crappy food on the counter. On top of that, I'm reporting them because the pictures they advertise are of normal thickness hamburgers. What they serve falls apart if you touch it. It is an extremely thin, tastess, unseasoned piece of grey meat previously frozen. *Tasteless. Bait and switch this is called and it's illegal. I'm a diabetic and hadn't eaten all day at the hs where I serve this community. I felt sick and shaky by the time I got home. All those sweet Mex girls who used to work there got the orders right. These men...the tall jerk and the cook...thought it was funny to be abusive to me and entitled/ empowered to do so since I was a white woman there alone. Not a Karen, I was just asking them to do their job, in my quiet voice. I didn't ask even for another replacement because I figured I would get worse than spoiled mayo on it. Get a milkshake and leave, that's my advice. And watch how they treat women with disdain...saw them charge a lady ..with hajib...$8 fir two small cups of ice cream so, there's other places to go and if they don't want to serve appropriately, or can't understand the English required...to make a cheeseburger ..then they should go do something that takes no intelligence at all ..dig a ditch, pick up trash...those workers are valuable .. and being deleted over nothing but racism ...and they would hand over a $10 burger that someone who only eats once a day...correctly mad....with a smile. I just went to the drive thru at 850pm I ordered 1 large fry- #30 meal. Got home the fries were 1 minutes undercooked. The bread ia usually toasted but they just gave me a bum with just meat amd the cheese was on the outside of rhe cold ass bun! And I camt even make this up at all. The fruit punch was watered down. I called but no answer of course. Amd it was 24.25 as if . I'm never going back here again now I see why the line isn't long lime it used 2b. The drive thru is always empty. And they have the audacity to charge ne for a old ass ranch. I knew it was old as soon as I dipped my undercooked fry in it. They are so disgusting.

I love the chilli cheese dogs here and the milkshakes and fries are just immaculate ! I recommend going to this restaurant if you are a foodie LOL ! The workers here are really nice and are very patient too

Frosty Queen is known to sell burgers that are made to order with high quality and fresh ingredients. They are a family restaurant that opened the first back in 2013 in Madera. I tried their medium pastrami fries which did not hold back in portion and flavor. The fries had a sweet, peppery topping of pastrami and ooey, gooey, cheese. You want to eat these immediately as they tend to get soggy fast. Their philly cheesesteak was amazing. It came loaded with beef, cheese, peppers, and lettuce. The seasoning added depth of flavor and the meat was tender and mouthwatering. Good service and friendly staff.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 (just for food & value). Good food and a good value, especially considering the high price of food nowadays, but slow service. Service has gotten faster since they opened - took like 25 min the first time we came (not long after they first opened) and now it takes like 10-15 min depending on how many people are in line. Burgers are on the larger side and flavorful. Generous amount of crinkle fries with meals. It's a lot better than the competition, but service and location keep me from coming more often. Also, service is not only slow but it's not very friendly. It can be difficult to order through the drive-thru, like it can be hard to hear/understand each other when ordering. They misheard part of our order and it took longer for them to fix it in POS system than it took to get us our food. They acted like it was our fault and we were causing a hassle..so just don't expect much in terms of service. Note: they charge $0.50 for using a card to pay, no matter the amount. I understand, but find it disappointing that they don't offer a minimum spend option (like they won't charge the extra fee if you spend a minimum amount like $10). They also charge $0.50 for extra sauce.

Beware they charge you a credit card or debit fee which is illegal. When I said I was going to report him he tried to take it off. Lucky I caught it. Their ambiance of the store is empty. Scam. The food doesn't come with cheese. He also tried to charge .99 cent for cheese. When I took out my phone to take the picture he started to delete the order. Here is my proof.

So we've been eating food from this location and it's been good. Today we decided to try out their milkshakes. The menu is a bit confusing. I thought I was ordering a snickers milkshake based on their menu but it turned out to be ice cream with snickers bits. Ok, fine. Well at first glance it looks cool but as soon as that too layer of snickers was gone (first pic) all I was left with was vanilla ice cream with some snicker crumb (second pic). Not chunks of snickers, CRUMBS. .and very few crumbs at that. Very disappointing. If this is what the candy mix looks like I think I'll just stick to their food. Update: I received a nasty, unprofessional response from the owner or someone who works at this restaurant regarding this review. Instead of taking responsibility for dropping the ball on my order and/or providing a resolution, they attacked me for being honest about my experience. They also took the time to look up my PERSONAL information outside of Yelp. Wow! Proceed with caution when leaving honest reviews about your experience.

Awesome double burger! Two big Pattie's grilled nice and hot, with the trimmings. Outstanding!

The restaurant is awesome and amazing. Their food is excellent and the prices on their food and desserts are worth your money. All the employees are wonderful, sweet, hardworking people that makes Frost Queen excellent. Got to try it out it's so good and delicious.

Frosty queen is were the king of burgers used to be. But definitely glad the queen is here now. With way more to offer and better food. They have alot to offer here from burgers, cheesesteaks, chicken, appetizers, milk shakes, icecream and more. Coworker has been getting the chilli cheese fries and milkshakes for a while, so I had to go give them a try. So I went with a combination, double cheese burger with swiss for my choice of cheese. They do have a few kinds to choose from. Then with the crinkle cut fries. Those were great to and happy to find another spot still serving them up. But they do have more kinds also. Then for my drink, I upgraded to a milkshake, peanutbutter. That was good, they Blended that peanut butter perfectly, able to suck it through the straw and get full taste and not just clumps of it. There drive-thru and seating inside area have the same hours. So your choice were to go when there open. I went through the drive-thru and the service and quickness was good. Plenty of parking inside the shopping center. They do accept cash and credit/debit, but any card transaction there is a .35 fee.

So my uncle recommended frosty queen about a week ago, and I cannot believe it's taken me so long to try it out!! It's like a combination of Dairy Queen and Sonics!! Their menu is endless and their prices are great! We came in late on a Monday night and the drive thru wasn't working; not sure what was going on but no one was answering us at the order box. So we pulled up, parked and walked in to see a young lady with the headset on but not answering, hmmm. Any who, we ordered several burgers, a few fry options and plenty of sweetness. It came out to be $40 which was a steal for a family of 10! My fiancé had their San Joaquin burger, pastrami w/ meat patty, and he said it was fulfilling but nothing over the top. My sister in law had a jr. burger that was $1.39? But it was decent size and pretty tasty!! I had their chili cheese fries, which were smothered and delicious! I also shared their small strawberry shake and it was sooooo creamy! You could tell they used real ice cream. I'm craving it as I type this review. Lol With prices like this, you cannot go wrong! I'll def be back!

So I was hoping that this place would be really good since it took over the old Burger King location. My goddaughter was with me so I decided to get her some dessert before taking her home . There were about two cars in front of me in the drive thru when I gave my order. They were there for a while. I was hoping it wouldn't take long since it was only two cars. I was hungry so I decided to buy something to eat while I got her dessert from here as well. I really couldn't decide - some items looked good, others didn't. I don't really eat beef burgers, pastrami, etc so I decided on the taquito dinner. Placing my order was like pulling teeth. I don't know if the girl was helping somebody else on the inside while she was taking the order, but it took a few times to get it placed correctly and to answer my questions. The two cars were still in front of me. I waited about ten minutes. I pulled up and they handed me the strawberry fruit mix. The lid didn't fit the cup, so the girl warned me of that. Of course my goddaughter still got ice cream all over the back seat because it started melting and the ice cream started overflowing out of the top since it was filled so high...smh. She handed me my meal after about 3 minutes. I opened it to make sure everything was included. All I saw was one packet of ketchup. I figured it was for the French Fries. I asked the girl if they had salsa for the Taquitos. She looked at me in a daze. She offered ranch dressing or ketchup. I said "For Taquitos???"...lol. She just kept looking at me and said well we don't have specific sauces. I said ok thank you. Then she offered me ranch again. I told her no that sounds gross but thank you anyway. I didn't like the Taquitos, I was thinking they would be chicken. The fries were salty, so I only ate a few of those. I ate the inside of the toasted bread since it was softer. The salad didn't look appealing so I didn't eat it. The dinner was a waste of money. I probably should have went with my gut and ordered a chicken salad. I don't think this is the spot for me. I can't eat ice cream, so I probably won't be back unless I do try a salad.

They have quite a selection of food here enjoy the food especially the shakes. Their attitudes could be better. Customer service really sucked probably because they're young and inexperienced and don't know their own worth either way if you don't like what you're doing find something else and be happy. Other than that enjoy being a Frosty Queen stop being so cold.Lol

**UPDATE - Read nasty messages below** I've been wanting to try the pastrami sandwich at this place so I made a special trip there today, but they were closed at 1pm on a Saturday. No sign on the door, just lights out and chairs up on the tables. Waste of time and gas! Update: Received some nasty messages from their "customer service" immediately after my review posted. First message said they had an unexpected death, then the story turned very bizarre. See attached 4 screenshots.

This new fast food restaurant recently opened up in my neighborhood. It took the place of the former Burger King. Now the queen has taken over the king. When Joe K and I decided to check them out, I was impressed at the large wall menu and the number of selections to choose from! Burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, wraps, tacos, salads and the list seems almost endless! They even let you customize your meal to your liking! I was happy to see that they had some shrimp, fish and chicken options too! When we arrived at the order counter, I asked for the shrimp basket, but apparently they were already out of shrimp right at dinner time of 6:00 pm! So I ordered a fish basket instead that included medium fries. Joe got the San Juaquin burger combo with pastrami and an extra beef patty. The combo included a large fry and drink. As we sat at a booth, we noticed that the interior was pretty spacious and had plenty of room for a lot of customers. They seemed to be doing a fair business while we waited. The patrons near us were eating shrimp dinners and we assumed that we must have just missed out on the last of the shrimp. Only we soon observed another customer just sitting down with his own shrimp meal! I was kind of disappointed, since shrimp is one of my favorite foods! The food wasn't the greatest, and we agreed that it was just OK for a fast food place. They didn't offer tarter sauce for the fish meal and there was no root beer at the fountain drink machine. Joe's burger lacked flavor and the fries were crispy on the outside but mushy on the inside. Still, I'm pretty sure we will return again to give them another try, just because of the variety of choices and especially that they have ice cream! (Another one of my favorite foods)!

I like this place. Food was cheap & plentiful. Sundae wasn't anything special, other than it was vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup with strawberries, whipped cream, nuts & a cherry on top. Overall I will be back here. It was way better than the Burger King that was here.

This place is great! I was skeptical about it at first but heard good reviews so I gave it a try and haven't been disappointed yet! I've had their hamburgers, fries, chicken wings, and desserts. I have only gone through the drive-thru but they're always so kind. Definitely a great quick grab for a bite of food or something sweet. Never disappoints!

More like 3.5-4 it was good but a five you have to be the best. This place was bomb though. Be prepared to wait since they make everything fresh. But worth the 25 minute wait. If your in a rush call in. Burger was juicy, toppings were fresh, and the crinkle fries were delicious, as well as good quality ranch to go with it!

Frosty queen is bad I got food poisoning from their food unfortunately so I'm not eating here again. I do not recommend the food horrible the only thing they have is their milkshakes the services over. I've never been inside the place because I don't have time for that place I've never seen sad so I guess it could be clean do not recommend people

Frosty Queen is definitely one of the better fast food options in this area. The food here is actually pretty good and isn't too expensive. It doesn't taste like it was previously frozen or just thrown together. The wait time and lines however, be prepared for that. There's been a couple times where from entering the drive through and leaving it, it hit around a 30 minute wait time. The workers here aren't the most friendly but maybe because they are constantly stressed with all the traffic coming through. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for the food and value.

I love the burgers here at Frosty Queen. They taste really fresh and homemade, which is why I love them. They are also really big and you can customize it however you want. Definitely try their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and the Pastrami sandwich!

We were craving something sweet and different. I been here a couple of times. They have good ice cream and my wife and I tried the Strawberry Mixed Fruit and my wife got the Parfait. It was really good and they put a lot of fruit. I also got the pastrami sandwich and it was Huge! I didn't get to take a pic of that because I ate it before I remembered to take a pic lol. I was hungry ha ha. Frosty Queen doesn't disappoint but above your average of your normal Fast Food in my opinion. Try it. The pics attached were taken when I got home so it was a bit melted by then. But still delicious!
