Frosty's Christmas Bar Chicago

I was really nervous to come here after reading the recent reviews, but our group had a great time! It was super busy, but we expected that going in and we were able to find an area for our group to enjoy on the bottom floor. We got the 6pm tickets for right when they opened, and I think that helped a lot. We were there from 6 to about 9:30. We enjoyed the drinks and music. Tons of cute photo opps and the decor was very cute! They had coat check available for $5, which we used and had no issue with. I would come back, but I’d definitely stick with 6pm time slot.

It was incredibly, incredibly crowded. My friends and I still had fun and enjoyed some drinks and dancing, we really did the best we could.... but it was just SO sweaty and hot and people getting up in my personal space. As one review stated, "it's one of those situations where it looks so fun on Instagram but is not in real life" and I would 100% agree. Videos and pics will turn out fun-looking, but the actual experience was pretty disappointing. I guess there were people who paid more for bottle service and just sat in the sitting areas being so boring? When we tried to come up and dance in that space, they shooed us away. I had seen the poles and ornament seats advertised as if it were something for everyone to enjoy... but unfortunately they seemed to be monopolized by people who had money to spend but weren't having much fun (from what I could tell).

It's not a restaurant, but it's a great place for fun photos, great music, and 3 levels of Christmas cheer! These pics are from a Monday! Hardly anyone there, so it was a Perfect time, lol. Spacious venue. Lots of photo opportunities. Great vibes. Fun staff. Everyone was nice & helpful. There are Christmas themed drinks that are tasty. Prices aren't too high. Fun times!

We had a great time and loved visiting each floor. The cocktails were good and the music was nice. The bartenders and staff were excellent keeping up with the high volume and keeping on top of cleaning things off the floor and such. It was pretty crowded and ultimately got a little toasty. But we will make sure to visit again, as we had a great time.

Very fun holiday themed bar. Only down fall, it’s too damn crowded (granted it’s a Saturday night so of course). They had times slots for when you can get in when you buy your ticket but it didn’t seem to make much of a difference. Coat check was down stairs ($5/coat) the drinks I felt were a little more weak in the alcohol department this year than the previous year we attended. The Rudolph Punch was good, the Grinch I thought would be mint flavored but it was more lime tasting, still good though. Not as many photo spots as it seemed but over all still fun.

Great place to kick off the Christmas season I would really recommend coming in early when doors open cause it could get really busy and have to stand all night once you find a spot do not move cause there’s so many people that going to the other 2 stories it could take some time to get to them only to find yourself stuck in the middle of the place.

I had a nice time. It's like Christmas exploded all over this building, and that was the vibe we were going for. I enjoyed all my drinks and had a chance to relax in a fun atmosphere. We got there at 6p, when it opened (Monday after Christmas; that day and the Tuesday after Christmas were the cheapest days to go). I'd recommend booking a similar time if you're coming for the ~Christmas experience~. There weren't many people at this time, so we were able to get nice pictures and enjoy the Christmas music. Once we were getting ready to leave, they started playing some random top 40s songs. Not a bad thing in itself but something to keep in mind. They also only had four holiday signature bar drinks (plus well/house liquor) that came with the ticket. For whatever reason, there were three additional signature drinks that you had to pay full price for. Given that all of us had already paid $40–60+ for the night (ticket plus fees), I didn't see anyone willing to pay $12–16 for these drinks, so no idea what their goal was with that menu. Between the two of us, we had all four of the signature drinks, and I'd personally recommend 2.5 of them. There's also no food, which we expected (no complaints there), but there's a Mexican place, El Tragón, about a block or two away. We went here first, and I'd recommend you do the same before going to Frosty's for drinks. All in all a great time, would go again :)

I wanted to love this, I really did. Purchased tickets the day they came out for 6p tonight. It was wall to wall people. A wait to get up and down the stairs. A long wait for drinks. No room to move around. Stale air and poor ventilation. This is a real Instagram versus reality situation. You will see awesome photos of people looking like they are having the Christmas time night of their lives. If you like massive crowds, long lines, and no room, then this is absolutely where you should go. If you are looking to enjoy some drinks hang out with friends, and be able to explore with the tiniest bit of room, this is not for you. This is the worst money I have spent in a long time.

Loved the decor and certainly offered 3 floors of Christmas fun. However, the girl greeting at the front door was terrible and that set the tone for the evening. She was rude, not helpful, and looked down on the customers. You need to find a better personality to greet guests. We arrived at opening Wednesday, 12/27. Was very boring to start and then the music got better and crowd picked up a bit by 8. The drinks were ok bu plastic cups and very premixed week cocktails. Would never pay $35 for that experience again. Also, when you pulled up Maps on phone for directions it says you are closed through the week so that will turn people away. See pic. Way too overhyped. Will not be back.

I am absolutely livid after my visit to Frosty's, the so-called 'holiday bar' in Chicago. It was a complete and utter fiasco, an insult to anyone looking for holiday cheer. Where do I even start? The overcrowding at Frosty's was beyond belief. It was like being packed into a can of sardines, with zero regard for fire safety. Seriously, how can they be so negligent about something as critical as fire codes? And the restroom situation - no restroom on the first floor? In this day and age? It's not just inconvenient, it's a blatant disregard for ADA requirements. Then there's the coat check, or rather, the lack of one. In Chicago, in the middle of winter, this isn't just poor planning; it's downright idiotic. The entrance was a health hazard, with individuals puffing away on cigarettes right on the ramp. It's like Frosty's was trying to break every code in the book. The drinks? Watered-down doesn't even begin to cover it. My friend's double vodka soda was a joke, a pathetic excuse for a drink. The rest of our included drinks were sad juicy pre-made drinks. C'mon. Diluting alcohol isn't just cheap; it's illegal and a blatant scam. The incompetence was staggering. They couldn't even get their online menu right - the link on the drink coupon led nowhere. Did they do any planning at all? (See attached screenshot.) And those straws - ridiculously oversized for the minuscule cups. It's like a bad joke, except nobody's laughing. But the absolute worst part? The ID checks, or should I say, the complete lack of them. It's reckless and irresponsible, a total disregard for legal and ethical standards. Frosty's isn't just a disappointment; it's a shameful, money-grabbing sham wrapped in tinsel. They're exploiting the holiday season, and it's disgusting. Stay away from Frosty's if you value your time, money, and holiday spirit. This place is a disgrace.

This pop-up experience was honestly the biggest disappointment of 2023. I'm glad we went after Christmas, as the crowds weren't as bad, but this place is extremely overrated and overpriced. The drinks were blah and super sugary, very small. Everything was well decorated, but they stopped playing Christmas music after the first hour. No thanks. Not worth the cost.

This place is really cute! The decor is all out christmas, with three floors of ornaments and nutcrackers and wreaths. The crowd is a little on the older side, and it was a bit crowded, but the music is really good. I went with five other friends, and we mostly stayed on the first floor. There was tables you could stand at, and a decent bit of open space as well. I got the cinnamon bourbon drink which was decent. All my friends got the christmas lights necklaces which were worth it. I think this is a fun place to go for some holiday outings! It's definitely worth checking out.

There are two types of holiday bars, ones that are real bars that serve good drinks and food that happen to decorate their bar in holiday decor, and those bars that are temporary, fake bars, constructed for the purpose of being a holiday pop up bar. This one is one of those fake bars constructed for the purpose of being a holiday pop up bar. First, the drinks are terrible. You cannot order the drink of your choice. You have to choose from one of few drinks they have on a limited menu. They aren't even real cocktails. The bartender makes your drink my ladling what is essentially spike punch into a plastic cup and topping it with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and a hanging a candy cane on the cup. They all tasted like spike punch you would get a frat party. Second, it costs way too much. First there is an entrance fee. You have your pay for the rig to buy these horrible drinks. Then the drinks are $20+ for spiked punch with bottom self liquor and sugar. You'd be better off getting a top shelf liquor in a high end cocktail at nice bar or lounge for the same price. Third, the vibe was toxic. I went with my wife, but people there were guys just trying to get their dates drunk (and maybe to impress them that they afford the outrageous process) or there to pick up super drunk people. While it was big space with many floors, the crowds make it feel very cramped. If you're not brushing up against a stranger, you're being molested by a carnie dressed like Santa or an elf. Also, the interior felt like a maze, and exits were not marked well and they were super hard to find. If there was a fire, it's doubtful many would survive. Moreover, the night we met it was very cold and they made stand in line without for too long without the benefit of the heat lamps enjoyed by the rude door staff. In all honesty, it wasn't all bad. The Christmas decorations were fun and festive. Also, you can take a pic for an Instagram moment if you want. An elf will be all too happy to get a little too cozy with you for the picture if you want, or you can sit on Santa's lap, which many scantly clad women did that night. Trust me, Santa was the one getting the gifts that night. If sum, this place is pass. There are too other many good bars with Christmas themed pop ups in Chicago to waste your time here.

Very crowded and kind of expensive entrance fee but at least we get drinks! There was a lot of really nice photo ops and there were three floors of different Christmas decorations. Really enjoyed the vibe there but it only got better when more people left. In the basement there are individual stripper poles so if you're brave, they're super fun to spin on. The grinch drink was super strong and not my favorite but it was good if I just wanted to get drunk. Music was pretty poppin tho and I took a lot of photos. Not bad but not my favorite Christmas pop up bar!

I loved the idea of this but from my experience it seems like with each new time slot more and more people are entering, but nobody from the previous timeslots are leaving, so it quickly got overwhelmingly packed in there, hardly any room to walk, no places to stand/ sit unless you purchase bottle service and have a section. Was trying to get some photo ops but it was so busy in there that it was hard to find an open spot to take a picture. Also, I wanted to note that the drinks look nothing like any of the pictures that were shown online, I was seeing drinks with pretty garnishes, rims and served in pretty glasses . All of the drinks we received were in tiny plastic cups with maybe a cherry as a garnish. For the price of the tickets and the way it was advertised I think it was overpriced and over hyped. Exactly as advertised! Fun and festive. Drinks were good. Lots of decorations. Bartenders in skimpy holiday attire. ( Not my thing but maybe for some. Lol). Wear your holiday best and get ready for photo ops.

I was highly impressed with this place. I'm a Vegas girl and I thought Vegas did a lot of Christmas festivities but honestly this blew Vegas out of the water. The fact that this bar is FULLY decked out in Christmas decorations in a beautiful, festive, and tasteful way just adds to how happy I got to see this place. There's 3 stories, 2 whole dance floors, 4 bars, and bottle service (tables with stripper poles even!). I also was surprised that the drinks were strong even though they looked cute/festive too. If you're in Chicago looking for something festive to do this is definitely the spot :)

So fun. Stick with the canned or bottled drinks. Mixed drinks too sugary. Place is cute for fun pics and music was great.

This is the only Christmas bar I was able to get tickets for very last minute. I was happy to be able to go, although I have been here in the past. I wish they updated their decor but it's exactly the same as it was a couple years back. I still had a great time. It was a date with my girlfriends and we all had a blast. If you get there early you can sit in the tables but if someone buys a bottle they kick you out which is not fair. So I had to get a bottle to keep my table I did not want to be in the crowded area. And our table had a pole! How fun The entry I purchased had 2 drink tickets. I loved the egg nog and stuck to that one. My friends liked the grinch. It's a cute bar but understaffed like every place. Be a little patient and enjoy !

Girl no. I thought we were getting a good deal with $36 for entry and two drinks but the drinks were not good. We went early and it was semi crowded. There weren't really any photo ops to do. The walls that were decorated were occupied "tables" and groups were in those sections so we couldn't take photos there. They say 3 floors but the floors are more like hallways. If you condensed it, it'd really just be one room. Not worth your money!! Social media lies!! I was pumped all winter for this but it wasn't worth the money at all. Don't even bother with this one. ALSO no food?? I'm glad we ate beforehand. Other Christmas bars we've been too had themed food. Didn't even need to be themed, any food would have been nice.

What a joke!!! We spent over 150.00 just to get in and have a "reservation" and we walked up to the door and the line was legit 100 people deep- that they claimed were all People with "reservations". And it's non refundable. We basically bit it and dipped because it was so ridiculous. Don't recommend, unless you know there won't be a line.

Worthwhile for a few photos, not a great party scene. Drinks are terrible, but at least they were free with ticket

This place is absolutely disgusting. Older reviews seem generally more positive so maybe it has just gone downhill. We reserved tickets online and still had to wait in line for 20 minutes in the cold. The decorations are elaborate and really cute for photos but the price is not worth it just for pictures. The signature drinks were undrinkable and I'm really not picky! The pictures are incredibly deceiving. Drinks are small, premade, and in plastic cups. There is no seating unless you get bottle service. The basement level was so hot, humid, and smelly that we spent 0.5 seconds there. The middle and top floor were okay but it's basically just a dancing and they don't play Christmas music. The atmosphere is more like a sketchy, run down club.

Giant fire Hazzard!!! Don't waste your time or money. It's nice and very insta worthy. Great music, nicely decorated. We gave our drink tickets away because it would probably be a hour to actually be served. It was seriously winter Wonderland festive nightmare. It took us 15 minutes to find the exit that was only 8 feet away from us. Luckily people are really nice in Chicago. I hope a fight doesn't break out because that would be insane. Little to no security for the amount of people. I'm pretty sure if some one needed the restroom they wouldn't know where it would be. This place needs to shut down immediately. Its unfortunate they are taking everyone's money and not taking their safety into consideration.

Avoid!! Beyond overcrowded and a MASSIVE fire hazard - if you check your coat in the basement good luck getting out of there, the 'security' was limiting people from going back up the stairs which lead to a lot of pushing and shoving. The drinks look absolutely nothing like their promo photos, the 'signature' cocktails are premixed and served in small plastic cups that are mostly ice. When you ask what is in them they'll just tell you the liquor base but nothing else. Overall a mess!

Love this place! I understand the criticism, yes it's not a club, yes there's a lot of people, it's a bar though, therefore there's limited seating and more standing. Yes it's crowded, so there will be "excuse me" and "oops sorry" being said here and there. Typical for any Chicago bar to be honest. But everyone is there for the holiday cheer and Christmas fun! Dress festive! You may think it's overboard, we were festive,m and saw people decked out. Christmas threw up at this joint and it's a bunch of awesomeness (smile). I intentionally went on a Sunday evening so it was crowded but not like others say. I can't imagine coming on a Friday or Saturday but that's me. Im sure the weekend is insanely packed. We were a party of 4 and we had a blast! I would recommend for sure. The photo ops are endless. Merry Christmas!

Totally not worth the price. It was very crowded and the bartenders took way too long to get drinks ready. The decor was cute but it was pretty dirty everywhere. It was hard to take pictures anywhere because of long drink lines, crowded spots, or just no standing allowed in certain sport with cute decor.

I'd been wanting to visit Frosty's for a few years. I finally made it this year. Before my visit I was sure to plan ahead by emailing and inquiring about table/bottle service. I was sent a menu of bottle prices and came prepared. I was so excited. I arrived in a group of five and we made sure to arrive early to beat the Saturday crowd. The decor was fabulous. My party and I all dressed in festive costume for the occasion. Upon arrival, I asked about getting a section. The waitress said there was an $800 minimum. I wasn't aware or happy that I wasn't told ahead of time but didn't want it to ruin our night. I decided to get two bottles of Tito's (vodka is the drink of choice for the people I was with) They were $300 each and with gratuity and taxes, I was able to reach the minimum. It got crowded really fast so I was happy at the decision. We drank and enjoyed the ambiance until a bouncer came up to us and said that our time was up and we had to move. I was confused because no one told me ahead of time that we had a 90 minute time limit. HOW would they expect us to finish TWO BIG BOTTLES in that time frame?! The bouncer was rude and aggressive and didn't care that we had a full untouched bottle and a quarter of another left. We collected our things and tried to reason with him but instead of listening, he tried grabbing our water bottles, thinking we poured vodka in them. I invited him to taste mine, which he did and tasted WATER! He tried checking out coats and purses and seemed agiated when he didn't find anything. Horrible experience. I will never go back! I'm just going to keep writing reviews so I can warn other people and hopefully no one else gets robbed the way I feel I did.

super crowded, waited 35 mins to order a drink & the place was so packed you couldnt actually take pics at any of the photo moments bc people were packed in there like sardines. kind of useless to make reservations when theres over 100 people in there at a time. downstairs at the club blue was a little less packed but not as christmasy, there was like a barbie theme and a few others i believe. this is something you do maybe once if you are really interested in seeing & never do again :/

My husband and I came to this pop up bar a few years ago and it was fabulous - super fun, not too crowded, great service. last night we went and it was AWFUL. The price went WAY up, you no longer get free drinks included in the outrageous price, and there is no way the amount of people they let in there was safe. We saw signs posted of maximum occupancy and it was clear that it was way over and all I could think about is if there was an type of emergency it would quickly turn into chaos. I'm probably old but the music was so loud you couldn't hear someone standing an inch from you (because that was how tightly you were packed in). We reluctantly left after only about an hour and they were still letting people in. Just seems like a tragedy waiting to happen...

Zero stars if I could rate this place. Pulled up with my friends and we weren't allowed to come in cause they were closed due to a slow night, yet their hours weren't even updated. They were closing early cause business was slow. I don't recommend this place.

If Xmas threw up on a bar, you'd get Frosty's! Three levels DECK the halls -ED out in Christmas lights, garland, and holiday cheer. There are holiday-themed drinks and dozens of photo ops throughout the space. Fireplaces, Santa's chair, snow globe, etc. For their Xmas cocktails, I tried the Grinch (a minty boozey milkshake with sprinkles) and the Irish coffee (comes with a candy cane). If you're already on the naughty list this year and have nothing to lose, may I recommend heading upstairs where you won't find North Pole but four dancing/stripper poles. Just be careful when you start breaking out advanced moves, those ornament chairs everywhere aren't very stable. They WILL roll off the elevated platform and take you down with it. Have a merry time!

I went from the Chriskindlmarket to here on the same night, so there was obviously a theme here. It's basically an ugly sweater party times a hundred, take that for what you will. My friend had a connect so we didn't have to have a reservation and managed to just walk in which wasn't too bad. I will say that I think Frosty's is mislabeled as a cocktail bar because frankly, they're not very good. I had their version of an Old Fashioned and well, I guess you don't go to theme restaurants to expect the best food and I should have managed my expectations better. I also tried 'The Grinch' which is something I suppose you have to try for yourself.

I was so excited to go to Frosty's Christmas Bar this year. Let me tell you about why I won't be going next year... When we arrived we had to wait in line for 40 minutes. Lines aren't uncommon in Chicago at busy bars but 40 minutes was a long time to wait when you purchased tickets ahead of time for a certain time slot and they threaten to revoke admission if you fail to meet your time frame. The manager came out and told the line that if anyone wanted to leave they could and the tickets would be honored regardless of time or date. When we finally got inside, the lights and decorations made me forget about how long I had stood outside in the rain. It was outstanding! Bright, beautiful and full of holiday spirit! However, this feeling was short lived. The bar was packed and many drinks had been spilled or dropped due to the lack of elbow room. The line to the bar wasn't an issue but the holiday drinks were impossible to consume. They allowed me to order my other two drinks from the full bar. There is actually only 3 floors instead of the 4 I thought there was, the top floor had a line which was annoying, to say the least, after having just waited in a 40 minute line outside. When we got upstairs it was just as packed. You could only sit down if you bought a table. Overall, this place is great for cute holiday Instagram pictures if you can find the space to take them! Other than that, this is an over packed bar with mediocre music and gross holiday beverages.

This event is a melting pot for covid, omicron, flu, cold, TB, Strep, Pink Eye and whatever else airborne or easily spread bacteria that causes issues. It's NOT a bar, it's an old club that's been doused in Christmas decor. It's not small but it's not a large space either. As everyone else stated the basement smells musty. There's 4 bars total. It's literally just a pricey PHOTO BOOTH. However the lighting staged at each prop is very harsh so be prepared to use a flash or edit all of your pictures. If you're a real drinker and like dark liquor try the Nutcracker (Old fashioned) if you're a light drinker the other pre-mix options will work best for you. Coat check is $5, if you had a hat or scarf it's additional $5 EACH. It was an experience and we made the best of it but I NEVER need to return. Oh and maybe only 60% we're wearing masks.

Great place to enjoy some holiday time with friends, coworkers and loved ones. Music is very joyful. Will definitely be back again.

I previously loved frostys Christmas bar and have gone all 4 years but last night was bad. 20 min wait to get in (that was normal) but each bar had a 1 hour wait all 3 times waiting, they closed the other floors within a half hour of getting there so you couldn't move, the drinks were way worse, they ran out of half the specialty drinks by 830, and the Christmas shot that was always interesting was just plain fireball. They hardly played Christmas music and there were no elves or costumes other than a few girls in red underwear. Just go to the bars in Wrigley, I would not recommend frostys this year.

I'm here to report back on Frosty's Christmas Pop-Up HOTEL at the downtown Radisson Blu Aqua at Millennium Park. (https://www.showclix.com/event/frosty-s-hotel-a-pop-up-christmas-hotel) We did an overnight holiday package in the ambassador suite that included a gingerbread house, holiday cocktails, hot chocolate bombs, and a $50 breakfast credit. The suite had a door separating rooms which was great for the kiddo. We put her to bed early and had cocktails (they included with room cost) Then we slept on the pull out sofa bed which was fine. We brought plenty of art supplies with us and mostly stayed in our room. In the morning we watched cartoons and kiddo took not one but TWO bubble baths! Nice idea to make some memories this year since we can't go many places or see people. We checked in at 1:30pm. Due to COVID there is no valet, no concierge, no bellhop, and all of the luggage carts were in use. After checking in at the front desk, we were told to visit the Frosty's Hotel table. We had all our luggage with us and the Frosty's woman tried to hand off to us all our cocktails, our gingerbread house, and everything else. We ended up having to make two trips. Although room service is open at the hotel, the Frosty's staff does nothing but welcome you they don't bring you anything. You have to go get your hot chocolate bombs and hot milk and carry it to your own room. The room service from the hotel restaurant is all in to go containers and is very very slow. Over an hour and a half slow. And it was obvious they let the food sit under a lamp for a LONG time. But there is an option to order at the restaurant and carry out which is cheaper and faster, just less convenient and is more of a risk waiting around for food with others. Which brings me to the "guest only private lobby". When we did go down to this special decorated area included in the package. Absolutely breathtaking for at least an hour. Then...a couple of women started having a photo shoot with their masks off. We waited a full 20 minutes before alerting the pop up staff and when we finally did, she gave us some weird sympathetic shrug like ooooh I'm so sorry...but did absolutely nothing about it just smiled and shrugged. At 4pm it was starting to get crowded. We were trying to wait for the appearance of some costumed Elf but after whole groups of people started springing up out of nowhere with masks pulled down carrying 24 packs up to their rooms we started to get really really uncomfortable. We had to wait in line for the elevator where people from separate groups were piling in and out with no or poorly worn masks. I must live in a bubble because I've never seen anything like it since this whole virus thing started. After finally making it back to our room, our night continued. We had a peaceful evening. Our 5 year old had the time of her life. We played Christmas music and colored. We ordered dinner and watched the grinch on tv. This morning was equally warm and cozy. Overall, I'll say that it was all worth it and lovely but if you do it, bring food and snacks, order your food for carry out or be prepared to wait, and get all your photos downstairs done early. Also worth mentioning the cocktail they were serving called "Buddy's Elf Punch" (vodka, cranberry, peppermint ) was like regurgitated Robittusin and undrinkable. The gingerbread bourbon one was decent but not great. This was not cheap but I'll give you our costs: Decorated Suite with two separate sleeping areas and six complimentary holiday cocktails included: $284.00 Gingerbread Kit: $25 Hot Chocolate Bombs: $5 each Overnight Parking through Spothero: $45.00 Hotel Restaurant Meals averaged $14-20 per entree

The Christmas bar has sooo much potential if they hire a couple more bartenders so it wouldn't take u a whole hour to get a drink ( they had 4 bars but the lines were insane in all of the bars) also the entry ticket showed u could get one of several specialty drinks but the bars were only serving the basic 4. My friends did not got their commemorative mug as they should have cuz they ordered the Grinch drink (some people did and some people didn't). There was no space at all to move either :( cuz it was so crowded. The music was super load which would be great if there was space to dance but since there was zero space the music was too loud to just talk. The good: The decor was amazing!! Every floor was decorated to the brim with Christmas, super cute and festive. Lots of photo ops. The nutcracker drink was yummy.

the drinks are a joke they charge to get and we purchased three drinks in our package. first they said well drinks were covered then bartender said they werent. the decoration's are great but many other places you can go and have a more enjoyable time

What a mess! I planned a bachelorette a month ago and decided we had to experience Frostys! The social media looked fantastic and why wouldn't you want to go to a Christmas themed bar in December?! We bought tickets for 10:30pm. We were a group of 15 girls. When we arrived, the line was SUPER long! All 15 of us hopped right in line despite being in tiny dresses freezing our booties off! The lone moved at a steady pace. When I finally got in, my toes were numb! The first thing I noticed (besides the overwhelming amount of X-mass EVERYTHING) was the disgusting hot and humid smell that hit my face as soon as the doors opened! It was PACKED. It was actually uncomfortably crowded. We quickly decided we needed to fine a coat check and move off of the main floor. We all ventured down stairs. We got in the line for coat check and that was a complete disaster. I waited behind 2 people for about 12 mins because the lady checking coats just couldn't figure out what change to give back, who's coat she just took and where more hangers were with tickets. She was extremely overwhelmed and unpleasant. Once that ordeal was over, we needed a drink. The tickets we bought included 3 drinks. Well trying to get a drink takes about 3 hours. They are 2 bartenders at the bar down stairs. We waited in a never moving line just to get our Luke warm Truly. All the while, the place is blazing hot and smells like throw up. The amount of people stumbling drunk in their Santa hats was comical for about 5 mins until they kept bumping into you spilling drinks. There literally was no relief. We stayed for about an hour until we decided we had enough. The best way I can describe Frostys would be a college basement party with the heat on 150 degrees F with the most Christmas decor you've ever seen in your life. 100% will not go back.

I love checking out pop-up bars and restaurants! They're usually decked out with fun decorations and have a festive ambiance. The downside is that they're usually expensive, crowded, and consist of average food and drinks. That was somewhat the case for Frosty's. There are three different levels for you to marvel the decor and dance the night away! My favorite level was the middle one where fake snow blew down on you every so often. Just make sure to cover your drinks when that happens! Questionable fake snow got into mine. :( My least favorite level is the bottom one because it's smaller, room lighting doesn't fit with the rest of the place, and restrooms are somewhat in the way. If you don't want to pay just an admission fee or spend too much money, the best value is the $20 Jingle Bells Rock tickets because they include admission and two drinks. You can use the ticket to get a holiday drink sample size or standard full size (i.e. vodka and club soda). They include my favorite, Tito's Handmade Vodka! Out of the three holiday drinks, the best one is Christmas Tree Charlie Brown. The other two have too much going on and are a bit too sweet. It's definitely more fun when it's not crowded, and you can actually move around. We arrived on a Thursday at 7pm, and there was already a long line and large crowd inside. However, it became even more crowded around 8:00-8:30pm. When it's crowded, you walk at a turtle speed, it gets really hot, and you can smell body odor. It's worth checking out once but on a weekday when it's really early! If you need to eat dinner beforehand, check out KorFusion nearby!

The bar, in and of itself, was wonderful. Lot's of decorations & fun. However, everything else about it was awful. They do not mix any drinks not on their Special Cocktail list. OK. But they were "out" of more than half of the specialty cocktails. Then, they were "out" of certain beers. They messed up our order. The server was very slow, bless her heart. They messed up my food order. Darn shame

This place is terrible. Overpriced and the drinks are horrid. It's also way too crowded. This was my first time visiting Chicago and only night out I planned. Total waste spending a minute at this place.

Had a blast here Omg I was really scared because I didn't research this Pop up much prior ,I just knew I wanted to check it out I crossed my fingers ,went with my buddy and we were off I think visiting off peak hours helped no crowd what's so ever and free parking out front Score I read the bouncer were rude and bartenders were unfriendly not my experience So I cant do nothing but rave It huge three different themed floors to explore but still holiday decor throughout Even stripper pole I took it for a spin, Yes I did I had everyone hyping me up ,lol Lots of Instragram and Facebook worth pictures to take and post up My favorite drink was called the Grinch, best describes me in a nut shell It was sweet minty creamy and damn good We went online prior and purchased admission and three drink tickets options This place is off my bucket list now , I'm so glad to report no issues Just good old fashioned ladies nite fun Enjoy don't go on weekends

This place was so gross. The drinks are not as advertised - they come in a plastic cup, are premixed, and not tasty or decorative. The place was probably 5x over capacity - you can't stand comfortably, much less walk. The normal ticket is only for the first floor, you can't go to upper levels without a wristband. The place smells disgusting. There is only one bathroom and it had no toilet paper, soap, or paper towels. The fact it costs $33 for a ticket and one drink is such a scam. Don't waste your time or money here.

Such a fun Christmas bar! Just don't go on a Friday or Saturday night if you Don't want to sweat or stand in line or wait for a drink. On the weekends it's a packed place. And regardless of your entry time there's still a wait. But it wasn't long only 15 minute wait. The bar itself is awesome! So many lights, photo opps, colors, etc. They have different characters walking around the bar, it's really cool they interact with you. There is VIP seating up stairs only you can still go up but can't sit in the certain sections unless you have VIP. I could imagine if you came here at a different time during the week it would be less crowded.

This has got to be the coolest bar I've ever been in to! The Christmas decorations are so fun and over the top! The bar has 3 levels and I suggest checking them all out. It's also super cool if you wear your Christmas attire, more specifically your favorite, ugliest Christmas sweater as it adds to the "charm". The music is ok, but could have been better as we were only there for a few hours & we heard a couple of repeats. I gave them a 3 star instead of 4 because the drinks were small & kind of weak. They did have cool flavored cocktails catered to the season, but with so much ice, you were lucky to get 4 full sips.

Good fireballs shots! I went to Frosty's last weekend with my friends and I had an amazing time. They had three different floors, all playing Christmas music and the crowd made it fun to be around dancing with everyone. Lots of decor to make it very festive and fun. Would highly recommend!

Buyer BEWARE. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you don't mind waiting in a long line outside, in the freezing cold even though you purchased a time slot tickets in advance. I was with a party of 10 and all of us left and didn't even bother going inside. Robbed by Frosty $600 what a waste. Never ever ever again.

Very decorative place.. came here for xmas time. Got very packed and fun around midnight but then died down quickly and the DJ wasn't all that. Drinks were decently priced but you had to spend like $40 to get in. Kinda good experience but wouldn't go back

If I could leave zero I would. They pack this place in like sardines so the timed entry BS is a joke. The bathroom is in the basement as is the coat check and both are hard to get to. The house drinks suck-sugared up. The place is a massive fire hazard IMO especially with the overcapacity crowd. The bottom line is stay away. You will be sorry if you go. You are more likely to be a victim of a mass casualty than to have a good time at this place.

Best experience Frostys! We didn't have a reservation at the restaurant but asked the manager if there was any way to get a table and he took us, personally, to the front and asked himself if there was any space for us and got us a table! Huge thank you to Jonathan for the being so kind even though the place was so packed. You made our experience incredible. We'll be telling our friends to come!

Way too crowded. Not as big as it looks from pictures. Drinks not as advertised. Oh yeah, and 4/5 of us caught Covid! Bartenders were nice, decorations were great. But yeah, if we hadn't paid so much in advance we would have left immediately. Stupid mistake staying!!

Maria was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended the best drinks and gave a tour of the premises. The place had great decorations and brought festive good vibes. Highly recommend
