Such a cute and cozy Cafe! I came on a Thursday at 2pm and could not find a spot to sit inside. There is tons of seating! I tried the turkey burger and side salad and it was delicious! I would definitely get it again! I tried the latte with mocha. It looked so pretty! It was a little bitter for me, so I would try something different next time.

Cute cafe for working! Slightly dark inside (not great lighting) good volume level (not super loud music or conversation). Coffee is burnt and not very good (I think it’s pour over vs espresso for cappuccinos). That said good place to work if you’re not as picky about coffee!

I was excited to try this coffee shop after seeing photos on Google Reviews, but the indoor space was smaller than it looked online. When I arrived, it was completely full, so I had to wait for a table. There is outdoor seating, but it was too hot to sit outside the day I visited. I tried the chocolate croissant, which was delicious, definitely a highlight. The coffee was just average. They do have a small food menu that looked really appealing, though I didn’t get a chance to try it this time. Street parking is available nearby, but it was full, so I ended up parking a block away. Overall, not a bad spot, but my visit didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by the photos.

such a cute interior with plenty of seating available. the music is quiet enough that it’s perfect for studying or getting some work done. i tried their matcha which was pretty good and came back a different time to try their coffee. i wasn’t the biggest fan of the dalgona latte, but i look forward to coming back to get another matcha or to try a different coffee flavor

Fantastic experience. The place is spaceous, cute, comfortable, everything was delicious AND They have gluten free options 🙌🙌 Their italian sandwich was to die for. The drink offerings were very unique. They just started offering non alcoholic THC/CBD drinks in the evening. I came for their first offical day offering that, had their gin mocktail, and it tasted REALLY good. Looove it here. Shoutout to the barista Abi! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quiet and delicious spot to get some work done. Plenty of seating however it was very busy on Saturday afternoon. My Italian sandwich ($~13) was fresh and unique. My mocha iced latte was excellent ($7).

Wow -- Froth, what a spot! My intern and I met here for a coworking session. I let her pick the spot and I didn't do much research prior, so when I walked through the front door my jaw was on the floor. The place is stunning! It reminds me of a hotel lobby in the best way. Very open and spacious, with lots of tables and desks spread out throughout the space. The barista working helped me decide what to order. She said "iced coffee is a lifestyle" and because she was so cool I did end up ordering an iced beverage on a 10 degree day in February. I went with the dalgona iced latte. This is espresso with a housemade crumbled Korean toffee and milk. It's pretty sweet, but mighty tasty! The toffee melts into the drink to add a toasty sweetness to the latte. The food here is INCREDIBLE! I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was so good. It came with crispy potatoes that were amazing too. Cannot wait to come back and explore more of the menu!

Such a great place to WFH. It has big booths for larger groups and individual desks if you want to have a solo work day. At first it may seem like there is no seating available, but there is a seperate room in the back of the coffee shop where there are more spaces to either just enjoy your coffee or work. It was very busy on monday morning and I feel like its like this all the time because their coffee is good and so it their service. If you like lavender, you should try their latte and add the lavender syrup. It was such a treat. I also got their turkey sandwich that came out on perfectly toasted bread. Overall, great WFH day at Froth!

3 words: Floating Hibiscus Matcha! Absolutely divine, whoever created this is a genius. Without the hibiscus syrup the matcha definitely had that earthy/grass taste, so heads up for those who prefer a sweeter matcha. Perfect place to study, with a lot of great seating and a cozy but industrial loft vibe. The staff are super kind too!

This is a staple cafe for me! Perfect for bringing your laptop to do work either inside or out on their patio. I love sitting on their patio during the summers because it is located in between buildings which are tall enough to provide ample shade! They also have seats with umbrellas, and you have options for different kinds of seating. It's dog friendly and a calm and relaxed environment for working or chatting with friends. Their cafe drinks are always fun and creative and they often have seasonal options! Their drinks are crafted like cocktails, so expect some really refreshing and creative iced drinks during the summer. I recently got their floating matcha hibiscus drink and it was very refreshing and not too sweet. The drink didn't taste much like hibiscus but I still enjoyed it. WiFi is strong so it reaches the outside patio too. Seems like a pretty popular space but I am able to usually find a seat in the afternoon when I've come to do some work. Definitely recommend! The other good thing is that they have a bar outside and a restaurant called bunker inside, so you can switch from work to dinner/drinks in the evening! The food smelled so good but I didn't stay to try it. Next time!

I think I found my official new favorite coffee restaurant in the city. Remarkably good cappuccino, and my wife's espresso was very smooth and Rich. It's in a converted warehouse style, but it still has many cozy features, including comfortable furniture, lots of space, and a very chill presence. Whether you're looking to get some food and coffee to hang out a friend, or a nice place to work or study, I would highly recommend. Oh, and the baristas were super fun too.

Cool concept inside the Duncan in the West Loop. Amazing industrial vibe inside with plenty of seating for those that are looking for a space to work. Great outdoor area to also enjoy your drinks. Service was fast and staff was friendly! Pro Tip: Froth also serves breakfast and lunch dishes so also come hungry!!

Froth has an outdoor patio along with couches and tables inside, making it a good spot for working or studying. The atmosphere is clean and minimal, with a calm vibe that's great for hanging out or getting things done. The menu offers a solid variety of food and drink options. We asked about the most popular drinks on the Frothtails menu and learned that the flavors are listed in order of popularity. We tried the Dalgona iced latte and the Ladybird. As a peanut butter fan, I really enjoyed the Ladybird, the cocoa and the peanut butter flavors stood out in the best way. The Dalgona started off a little bitter, but once the toffee blended in, it mellowed into a smooth drink that wasn't overly sweet. For food, we ordered the French toast and the turkey BLT (no tomato). The French toast had beautiful presentation, but the flavor of the bread was just okay, and there were way too many berries on top. The turkey BLT was decent, but nothing special. The coffee was definitely the highlight, both the taste and presentation were great. While prices overall are on the higher side, the coffee itself is priced similarly to most other shops

I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. It was relatively quiet making it a good study space. I went around 11am on a Monday and it was really full, so it's definitely popular because it's a really large space. It is dim lighting but I think it sets a nice vibe, there's nice window lighting and seats by the windows too so it's not all dark and I wouldn't say the darker lighting is too dark either. The barista waited for us very patiently as we were a larger group of first timers so that was appreciated. Overall, the general breakfast sandwich was a great size and came with a side of potatoes so the price was reasonable. It filled me up, but I think I'd want to add bacon or something to it.

We finally made it to FROTH Coffee, which had been sitting at the top of our Yelp "Next Up" list for weeks. This spot has a magical energy, especially for those of us who work from home and sometimes just need a change of scenery. Spacious, with plenty of seating, it's ideal for grabbing a coffee, a dessert, and getting in a few focused hours of work or study. The background music was at that perfect sweet spot: calming, not overpowering, and just right for post-school or early evening vibes. My husband ordered the matcha, and honestly? It was one of the best we've tried, even better than a few matcha specialty shops. Smooth, vibrant, and flawless. Major points there. I went for a cappuccino (extra hot, please), but unfortunately, it came out lukewarm and just average in flavor. Not bad, just not memorable. On a sweet note, I grabbed a brownie that wasn't on the menu but was displayed at the front, and wow. Soft, chocolatey, studded with chips, and absolutely delicious. Overall, FROTH is a lovely local coffee spot that checks a lot of boxes: cozy, functional, and aesthetically calming. I'm giving it 4 stars because while it wasn't mind-blowing, it was still a really good experience.

The Hibiscus matcha was underwhelming but still of good quality so I would come back to try a regular latte. The ambiance is okay if you are in a group, much less if you're alone or were trying to work because the set up is difficult to accommodate for that (very few outlets and tables that are too small/low).

The design of this cafe is like an old university library that decides to also serve specialty coffees. Everyone here is on their laptops in this expensive modern furniture. Good for if you want to camp out for a while with other people. Cold brew is the standout of the menu, comes with a really nicely frothed cold foam with a complex sweetness. Dalgona latte is only okay--tastes just like a regular milky latte, even after the Dalgona toffee melts.

Great second wave shop - if you're looking for third though, they do over extract their beans (Big Face Coffee by Jimmy Butler). However, it's one of the best second wave shops in Chicago, I've loved their cold brew "frothtails" and it might be the best remote working shop I've found. So many seats, tall ceilings, huge windows, great vibes. Perfect spot to sit with a large specialty drink and work for a couple hours.

The best deal I've ever seen for brunch!! I got the truffle burrata bruschetta and expected one cute slice. I was given a giant plate and 3 whole slices!! The tomatoes were fresh and could've used a tad bit more salt, but I loved it overall!! I couldn't even finish the whole thing. I didn't try any drinks... so review is skewed towards food. So much seating here and top speed wifi! One of those places where you won't get kicked even if you sit for a longer while. Some tables have outlets, saw many people working on their laptops.

Came in on a Sunday morning around 11. Ambiance: Beautiful interior, so much seating, and would be a great place to do work. It is kind of dark though. Service: Barista was friendly and was open to answering our questions. Matcha Latte double shot matcha w/ oat milk: sweeteners such as agave, sugar, and honey were on the side. Even with double matcha, it wasn't particular strong but not a bad latte. I'd say a 6/10. Would like to try some of their food menu and other coffee drinks

Froth is such a solid study and WFH spot in the West Loop. I've camped out here numerous times and it always delivers. Plenty of indoor tables, a nice outdoor patio when the weather's good, and most importantly -- lots of plug points, so you don't have to fight for an outlet. You'll see plenty of other people working or studying too, so the vibe feels productive but still relaxed. The Floating Hibiscus Matcha is really refreshing -- a fun twist on a classic -- and the hummus plate is generous enough to keep you fueled for hours. Plus, free parking in the area and hours until 7 pm make it an easy go-to. If you're looking for a reliable café to study, work, or just spend an afternoon, Froth is definitely one to keep on your list.

Taking stars off mainly for the service, otherwise Froth is a hidden gem! This coffee shop has an impressive coffee menu and tons of seating. People frequent this place for both coffee and to work. The ambience is very simple which is ok with me. We ordered the dalgona latte and loved it. It came with little bits of dalgona candy that slowly melted as we sipped away our coffee. My only complaint is the service. A lot of the tables were still dirty and no one came around to clean them up and pick up after previous customers. The barista was also a bit mean. I don't know if I will be back.

Great, tall space with many windows and lots of seating with different kinds of chairs and tables. The menu is varied with options for vegetarians, and delicious drinks. Counter service is friendly and prompt, and food is brought out to your table.

Love the ambiance. 3.5 stars for matcha drink...Ordered a matcha latte with you guessed It lavender syrup- I could barely taste the lavender...would have love to try the coffee. place had a lot of tables, loved the mood - tall ceilings, brick walls, modern chandelier light fixtures, pendant lamps, concrete floors. Stayed outside as the inside was all occcupied. Served food as well. You do have to ask where the restrooms are. Chicago prices are up there so I have to close my eyes and not think about it but this is what you expect from a city

While my drink was good, I think what stands out more about this place is the vibe. Airy space with lots of seating and outlets in a historic building. Was the perfect spot to get work done on a Saturday afternoon.

Stopped by Froth for coffee and a light snack and really liked it. The café has a cozy, relaxed vibe and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I tried one of their lattes and it was rich and smooth, and the pastry I grabbed was fresh and tasty. It's a nice spot to take a break, read, or catch up with a friend. Definitely coming back next time I'm in the area

This is a Great quiet place for delicious food, coffee and workspace. Recommend the burrito or avocado toast.

I've been to Froth twice now and I have enjoyed myself. The spacing is large and the seating definitely gives workspace. I have literally spent my entire work day in this space and I feel comfortable and safe. They have reliable strong wifi for those that visit and stay. The food is alright in my opinion. I personally believe the prices of the sandwiches could be a little lower. The Huevos Rancheros Tartine dish was bland and the sauce gave pizza rather than a Latin dish. I was not really filled or satisfied. I will always return but I will stick to pastries

FROTH is such a cool spot in Chicago. I really loved the Iced Ladybird matcha drink and the cookies were fresh. The industrial space is huge and perfect for getting work done on a laptop. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely a must visit for coffee lovers.

Froth is a dark moody spacious cafe that is an excellent spot to study or have meetings. Their caffeinated drinks are solid. Quite enjoyed the dalgona latte and Ladybird lattes.

I really love coffee shops that serve actual food (beyond just a pastry or two). I also love coffee shops that are in unique and interesting buildings or have a history. So I was excited to check out Froth! It's located in the lobby of the Duncan Apartment building and has lots of seating and even a dog-friendly outdoor patio. The drink menu is really interesting and I loved their "FROTHtails" (cocktail-inspired specialty drinks). When I arrived just before 9 am to get some food and do some work, it wasn't really crowded yet. However there was a group meetup happening in the space so it got super busy with a huge line for ordering. I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and the General (Scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, arugula, avocado, aioli, gochujang vinaigrette, and crispy bacon on toasted brioche). They called out my drink (not my name) and brought my food to my table. The presentation of the General was great but I quickly realized this was going to be a knife and fork situation. The bacon was thick and high quality, and I loved the gochujang vinaigrette. The dish overall was just a bit too sweet for me, but if you like savory and sweet combos you'd probably like this. It did get really loud in the space, even with noise cancelling headphones, so I probably wouldn't recommend it for a remote call or anything like that. If I lived in this area this would be a go-to spot.

Woke up early today and decided to stop at Froth for some Breakfast today! Fantastic looking breakfast spot with an amazing ambiance. The customer service was quick and friendly on top the food tasted great. Definitely worth trying! 5/5 stars.

Cute drinks, good seating, great vibes! Great afternoon study spot especially when so many cafes close earlier. Found a nice seat tucked away in the corner with an outlet nearby and it seems like there were a lot of places to sit. Love the ideas on the menu and would definitely return to explore it more

A nice coffee shop ambiance, however it is hard to find a seat because it's always full. I would come for the drinks however pass on the food such as the bruschetta I ordered.

Popped in for a quick brunch before heading off for some downtown adventuring. Here's a review of the items we tried: London Fog - amazing. Wonderfully floral and delicious Matcha Latte - So enjoyable. It had a really rich, matcha flavour and perfect temperature! Pistachio Yuzu Croissant - Not bad. It was very flakey and good. But the icing made it super sweet. not really my favourite. Breakfast burrito - Stuffed with eggs and veggies but it was super wet. The wrapper was falling apart. Egg and feta on a tortilla - the feta was wayyyy too much. It was almost inedible due to the intense saltiness. I'd advise adding 1 egg, and removing some of the feta. It would be such a great breakfast dish. The place itself is gorgeous. You'll see people coming in to study, work and just relax. Really, it's lovely and they have these beautiful desks set up along the window for individual work. There's something quaint and cozy about the large, open space. Highly recommend coming here!

Needed a study spot and some food and saw that reviews said seating is plenty so I walked over. Definitely a great place to study! Lots of seating with accessible outlets. Plenty of outside seating too. The cafe is in the lobby of an apartment complex. Very industrial vibes. Menu includes coffees, cute drinks, cocktails, breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack/bakery options! I could stay here all day. Staff is helpful and friendly. Food came out quickly. Turkey burger sliders were well seasoned. Had arugula and cheese which paired well. The chips were normal. The hibiscus matcha was floral and smooth. Definitely recommend mixing well before drinking but the layers are pretty to look at.

We love froth! Not only is the food great, the cocktail approach to coffee is so fun and unique. That's not even the best part- it is an AWESOME co-working space AND they let your dog come! They also host pop-ups! Last time we were there, they were hosting Green Petal Project and we got a mini bouquet with a vase! Super cute!

Checked out a new coffee spot Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by Froth. The menu looked really good and it was nice to see some veg options. Plus the ambiance here is perfect for working - cozy and quiet. The avocado toast was good and my vanilla latte was nice - I just wish they had 2% milk! Seating is definitely limited so you will have to look around and wait until a spot opens up if you plan on dining in.

One of my favorite places to come work. I've dropped in on a few Fridays to open up a laptop and get some work done. It's popular so there might be limited seating but I've managed to always snag a table. The coffee is good. I stick to the basics. The scrambled egg dish is really good. Baked goods are hit or miss. The ambiance is where it shines. It's a gorgeous lobby. A mix of modern and vintage.

I've heard a lot of great things about Froth, but was a little disappointed by my experience there. I visited on a weekend with a friend with the intention of grabbing some brunch and getting some work done. Aesthetically, Froth is beautiful and is clearly a popular place for people to work. When we arrived, the main area was full, so we were directed to the overflow seating one floor down which was in the bar area. It was super dark and really loud, even on a Sunday morning, so you'll want to get there early if you plan on working so you can get a seat in the open, airy main area. The food and coffee were good, but the service was lacking. I stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes before any of the employees acknowledged me. One of the baristas made direct eye contact with me and then turned her back to me without a word. As someone who has worked in the service industry before, I get that things get busy and am happy to wait, but a simple acknowledgement that they saw me and would be with me in a moment would have been appreciated. The rest of my interactions with the staff also fell a little short. They are good at making the food and drinks, but just not great at hospitality. I love that Froth is dog friendly and enjoyed getting to meet a few different dogs while I was there. Overall, the food is good and the ambience is nice if you can get a spot upstairs, but the service was lacking enough that I'm not sure I would come back.

Froth is easily one of my favorite co-working spaces! There's plenty of seating, especially for a party of one. Get here early or plan your days appropriately if you want group seating. I've often had to chair-hop before landing at my desired space. There are six, individual and large desks near the window, with ample charging stations and USB plugs. In the middle of the floor are couches and small side tables. There's booth seating against the side wall and private lounge chairs behind the stairs. I've never had a meal here that I didn't like. The bread on the sandwiches is delicious and messy. They use an oil that will leave your hands messy; having a working lunch is less than ideal but you'll manage. Ask for extra napkins. There's street parking on the side of the street where the establishment sits; across the street is permit parking. You will be ticketed. Wonderful place to grab a coffee on the go or to post up for the day, especially for my work-from-home folks.

Nice atmosphere and outdoor courtyard! I am wowed by the full-size desks they have inside (about 4 of them). There isn't an over abundance of power sockets, but it looks like a nice place to get some work done. I decided to order a floating hibiscus matcha today. Took 57 mins to get my food but they apologized for the mixup since the kitchen did that receive the order so we are going to judge the food and not an outlying situation unlike some of you negative yelpers! The Huevos ranchero tartine which was messy but super flavorful and the breakfast burrito was top notch, something I would get on a regular basis if I lived in the area. Huge patio area, great seating area inside, a very calm and cool spacious place for a coffee and some creative eggs. Def worth a stop, it might become your favorite.

Was looking for a cool little coffee shop outside of my normal go to place. The coffee was great. We got the ladybird which was a seasonal special. Which their seasonal drinks had dope references to King of the Hill. "That's my purse, I don't know you". I got mine iced, which I loved and my gf got the same thing hot which she enjoyed. So you can nottt go wrong with that drink. We both got a breakfast burrito which turned out to not be the best thing. It looked amazing, it included two sauces, but not really enough for my liking. Everyone loves a good sauce. The chipotle mayo didn't hit though. The burrito included broccolini which was an interesting choice. I'll have to come back to get something different. Service was great though. Top tier recommendation on drinks. The place reminded me of a 2025 era Mad Men-esque vibe, which is probably the most accurate description, since there is a bar we didn't go to that's on the lower level. Dog friendly which I love. Love seeing all the puppers. Not a ton of seating due to all of the remote workers filling up the desks. Overall- great coffee, good atmosphere, great service. Just need to try something different to eat next time I go.

It's very cute in here! And + + that they allow dogs inside. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a small latte. Both are quite lovely. There is A LOT of space to sit. Lots of variety too. Multiple desks/tables, couches, comfy chairs, small table tops and communal tables. The staff was quick and very nice. And my latte art was beautiful! Thank you for letting me have my dog in here! We sat at a small table top, I tied our god leash to the table and we hung out for about 40ish min.
