Frothee

Literally my FAV matcha place in all of London. I love love love the jasmine matcha latte and the staff is super sweet. Proper technique and good quality ingredients as well. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!! Just know that there’s an hour limit for dine in and no laptops allowed on the weekends.

I’ve already been back more than three times <3 definitely a new fave! I love their Earl Grey Matcha (so unique!) and the banana bread is super comforting. Even though it’s a small space, it’s really cozy and welcoming. Perfect for a chill catch-up or quiet solo time. The staff are lovely too!

Yep this is a legit matcha experience, had the Earl Gray iced matcha which came with a smooth umami matcha flavor. not too foresty nor bitter at all. it just plain delicious, would definitely come back

I really enjoyed my experience at Frothee Cafe. We ordered the Earl Grey matcha with cold foam, and it was perfect, with a beautifully balanced sweetness and matcha flavor. We also tried the salted vanilla Einspanner, which was just as good, not overly sweet, and with a perfectly balanced coffee taste. Everything was great. I especially loved the matcha. 10 out of 10 experience.

my mom and i had visited frothee as my mom has recently gotten quite into matcha, she’s someone who usually avoids anything ‘healthy’ so her liking to a green drink was incredibly shocking! but upon our visit, i had informed her about the origin of frothee and how hani runs it (thanks to social media helping me show her the drinks beforehand too) and she was so excited to potentially meet hani. thankfully, hani was behind the bar and the one who had taken our order; my mom LOVED how sweet she was, spoke to her about her interest in matcha and even got to learn more about hani herself, she even drank her drink COMPLETELY without a single break due to how delicious it was (she got a strawberry matcha with vanilla cold foam). she’s definitely going to come back and is absolutely in love with frothee already. thank you to the team, and to hani, for making her experience so lovely. <3 (ps. thank you for the palestine festival flyer!)

Love that London has new matcha places popping up :) I found this place from Hani's tiktok posts about setting it up and was intrigued to try it out. I ordered the unsweetened iced matcha with oat milk and it was delicious, the matcha flavour really came through and wasn't too overpowering. Would recommend if you're getting into matcha! I'd actually say the desserts are some of the stronger contenders of this cafe - tried the orange almond cake, miso cookies and the cinnamon bun. All were flavoured SO well and the cinnamon bun was so soft 😋 (it might even beat out my fave buns from home!), so I'd definitely recommend getting the sweet treats and trying some matcha here! I appreciated that there isn't an additional charge for oat milk too, will definitely come back :)

I've always had a great experience at this cafe and I go semi-regularly! The matcha latter on its own is really good, as is the earl grey matcha. My boyfriend has gotten the brown sugar one which was also tasty. Also their cinnamon bun is legitimately the best one I have EVER had. <3
