16 Excellent Chicken Wing Spots in Charleston

"Though a brewery, Frothy Beard has a following for its wings. Sauces largely lean classic but range from honey mustard to sweet chili buffalo to teriyaki; dry rubs like lemon pepper and Old Bay are also available." - Erin Perkins, Parker Milner

The 15 Best Breweries in Charleston | Eater Carolinas

"One of the few breweries expanding from its original taproom in West Ashley to an additional concept in Summerville. Frothy Beard combines people’s love of pizza and beer into one building. Well known beers like Sip Sip Pass IPA and Andale! Pale sit along the tap lines with sour beers like the Sour Cran. The brewery also offers daily events and activities including the Frothy Beer Run Club." - Barbara Skidmore

I need to go back and give this place another chance. We visited after donating blood for the first time and I was feeling pretty awful already. I didn't even get a chance to try any of the drinks. We ordered a pretzel with brown mustard and beermento cheese. I did enjoy the twist on pimento cheese made with beer cheese. The pretzel came out hot and fresh. The kids enjoyed it! We also got the nachos. My only complaint is that I felt the cheese was a little overdone. It really only coated the top layer of nachos so there were only a few good bites before being left with just nachos that were untouched by anything. The cheese acted like a helmet hiding most of the nachos. I really liked the cilantro sauce that was on them! And the jalapenos weren't too spicy, which is how I like them! My husband had the strawberry ale and enjoyed his drink. We sat on the back patio which was wide and spacious. It was a little hoppy smelling, so the kids complained, but it was big enough for them to run around because no one was there. The arcade area was for kids 13 and up unless they were supervised. That was a bit of a bummer, but I understand why they do that.

Google
Really solid food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. As a nerd, I love the vibe in the building, and our kids really enjoyed the arcade. Seems like they have a ton of events and have a well oiled team in place. I would definitely return!

Google
I put together a surprise party for my husbands 30th here at Frothy and it went so well! We rented out their taproom in the back, and it was the perfect space. The food, beer, and atmosphere were all top notch. Thanks again guys! 😋🍻

Google
One of the best experiences we have had at a brewery. Our 14 year old also loved it. Beer was delicious and the food was even better. service was amazing and Keegan was a delight!

Google
Food takes forever. Just eat at home. Cancelled my order after waiting 40 mins when the place was hardly half full. 2/10 would not recommend. The water was nice and cold though, i guess?

Google
This place is great. Straight up. Good beer, small brewery feel, nice folks, and Green Day streaming through the airwaves. What’s not to like?

Peter Faehnrich

Google
What a great place. Went there for lunch yesterday and had an awesome experience. The bartender great. Beer delicious. My wife’s slushy drink amazing. We ordered pizza and a pretzel and this was the best pie in a while. Next time in Charleston I definitely will be back.

Google
I absolutely love trying a variety of sour beers and this brewery definitely satisfied my taste buds. They have beers that refer to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...how cool is that? They have amazing handmade pizza that's worth trying but their sandwiches looked amazing also. Their monster slice is even bigger than I expected! They have an outside patio that's dog friendly, which I always appreciate for our fur babies to enjoy also! Definitely must try if you're in the area.

Yelp
My favorite brewery in Charleston, and we visited more than a few. First off, this is a great space. It has ample indoor seating, a righteous game room, and a sweet outdoor patio. The artwork throughout (murals, cans, signage, merch, etc.) is all the work of the on-staff artist/graphic designer. It was very cool. The bartender was outstanding. The beer was well-crafted, and cold, bubbly, and delicious. My favorite beers included: The Tangalorian Tangerine Sour, Tha CommUNITY, and ¡Andale! Pale Ale. If I ever make it back to Charleston, this will be the first place I visit.

Yelp
One of the best places in West Ashley for pizza and trivia! They have a great outside area so there is always plenty of space to hang out with friends and enjoy the backyard games. I'm a fan of the pizza here, specially the white sauce one it's massive and a great price... but it pairs even better with their beers. Plenty of parking and friendly staff!
google avatar

Yelp
I visited several Charleston breweries and this was my favorite with the best beers and a great atmosphere (local artwork on display, lots of seating, good for groups). I had a beer flight and very much enjoyed the Tangalorian Tangerine Sour, F Bob-omb (Hazy IPA) and the Tinker Tea. The Tinker Tea was so good, I had a full glass of it. It is very unique with notes of green tea and guava. Also, 4 people in our group brought the cool graphic hoodie, with a robot-octopus enjoying a pint!

Laura A.

Yelp
Loved this place! I found it in a rainy night and almost missed it, the door is on back side of building. Very casual. They brew their own beer. So i was offered a flight to taste. The service was wonderful. Thank you Nick and Nate!! Most importantly the food. Best pizza and bar food in town. I had the deluxe burger and it was amazing. Instead of fries I had the Caprese salad, delicious! And I took home a pizza and the "hail Caesar" chicken wrap. Soooo good! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Went over to Frothy Beard Brewing couple of weeks ago for lunch and was impressed. Staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu, thanks Keegan! Cool laid back atmosphere and good service. Food was great we had a Monster Slice Pizza and the Chicken Sandwich with fries, both were delicious. Easy 5 Stars !!
google avatar

Tiarra T.

Yelp
I like the location. Very casual and nice ppl. I ordered the grilled chicken club with fries. It was the perfect serving size and was very flavorful.

Frank G.

Yelp
They don't explain the beer or sizes you can get. This is a typical bar. Hamburgers are large and FF are good. Service is so-so. The person we had seemed new. They don't seem interested in the customer needs, just the next people to serve and get out the door. You really really felt this. Would I go back, not really. Frank G

Yelp
We just moved to West Ashley and wanted to get pizza and beer. This place awesome. Staff was attentive and kind. My husband and I quickly decided that we will be coming back frequently and love the atmosphere. I love love that they also have a patio because some days I love to sit in the sun. Pizza is delicious beer is great. We look forward to coming back often and bringing friends and family when they are in town. Great find.

Yelp
Love Frothy Beard! I've been here many times over the last several years and the staff and service are outstanding! Love their variety of local beers and the arcade. Monster slice pizzas are da bomb! Great spot, Great vibe, highly recommend!

Yelp
All I can say is YUM. Great vibes at this brewery. If you're not a beer person, they also have a few frozen specialty cocktails (including a frose) that were delicious. The barbecue bacon cheeseburger pizza was unique and scrumptious. I also got a side Caesar salad and it was fresh with great dressing. If you're a ranch person, highly recommend getting a side for dipping.

Yelp
Frothy Beard is a local legend for most of us living in the area. Great atmosphere and tasty local beers. The food is always good and there are plenty of options. And at the west Ashley location they have trivia on Thursday which my friends and I like to frequent. I kind of breezed over a lot that's frothy beard has to offer because i mostly wanted to talk about how awesome the new arcade they added is. It really caught me off guard as i had no idea it was even being added. It's not even a very crazy arcade as it's a few pinball machines and some other different video games. I just think it was a very cool addition to an already very unique brewery.
google avatar

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Since the beginning of August I joined a lead sharing group called GBN. We use Frothy each Wednesday at 11:45 for an hour meeting. The staff is amazing and always takes good care of everyone. They always have pitchers of water and menu set out and waiting for us upon arrival. They recently turned our meeting room into an arcade and so we've relocated to a large table out front. From the huge slices of pizza, salads, and loaded fries, all of the food is consistently delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
If you like beer (which I can't drink) you'll probably love the Frothy Beard. First what a cool name for a brewery. They have a nice patio, large inside area and the most important item for you beer drinkers a ton of micro brews and even a full bar for you non beer drinkers. I came in for lunch since I was in the area, I had the double party cheese burger w bacon and a house side salad. Burger was cooked really well, good flavor and the side salad was well a side salad. If you are in the West Ashley area I'd recommend stopping in and giving them a shot, or taking one.

Yelp
Been to Frothy Beard several occasions and each time has been enjoyable with their plethora of brews, ample sitting space, and attentive staff. I enjoy the variety of events Frothy Beard offers from inclusive yoga to trivia or music bingo nights. Frothy Beard has dark to light ales, IPAs, seltzers, cocktails, non alcoholic beverages and an impressive food menu that's sure to appease any picky eater. My dad, boyfriend, and I loved the arcade area where we played pinball and had a go at the claw machine. There's a quarter converter machine and ATM to get your game on! Careful with some machines though - the Jaws themed one on the left slot ate 2 of my quarters so just be weary of slots that may be jammed or eat your change. Overall frothy beard is a great event space and brewery - love their inclusive atmosphere and good spot for introverts on a Sunday afternoon!

Yelp
I can only speak about the beer here, which was really tasty! The ambience was very chill, different types of music and ample room inside for ppl. Will def come back!

Yelp
We stopped in on a Saturday around 6pm. It took 16 mins before we were even acknowledged by our server and then another 8 mins before our order was taken. While it was busy, it wasn't busy to the point where customers should have been ignored and left waiting and wondering if they will ever be waited on. We ordered the pretzel bites to start with. They were pretty generic, nothing I would order again. The beer cheese that it comes with is good but I guess when I think of a beer cheese I think of it being hit and melty, not thick and cold. I ordered the double smash burger. It was pretty good. The bacon was way overcooked so I had to take it off the burger for fear of chipping a tooth. The fries are labeled as ranch fries. I'm not sure if it's because they are supposed to be ranch flavored or it's a style of cut. Either way they were decent but could have used some additional seasoning if the ranch part of the name was for ranch flavored. Hubs ordered 12 wings with the sweet chili Buffalo sauce. He really enjoyed them. He said it had the right amount of heat for him and definitely had a good amount of meat on them. He said he would come back here just to get the wings again. Overall, the food was good. I wouldn't say memorable because I probably won't remember much about this experience other than how bad the service was. We were somewhat dumbfounded y how much she interacted with her larger parties compared to us. It was frustrating to have to sit and constantly wait for refills or even watch our server pass by our table several times with the water pitcher but never once stopping to fill our glasses. Unfortunately I don't see this as a place I would return to on future visits to the area or be a recommendation to others who are traveling to the area.

Justin T.

Yelp
I was only in town one night and Frothy Beard was close to my hotel. I had the Chicken Parmaggedon (because how could I not?) and it was terrific. Huge, delicious, and with just perfect amounts of fried chicken, melty cheese, and warm sauce on the side. The Parmesan crusted (and Italian seasoned) tortilla was a great touch. I grabbed a watermelon wheat beer and a flight (a marzen, a NEIPA, a jalapeño pale ale, and the Leo). All the beers were top notch, the staff was great, and their Tuesday night special, where they open the whiskey cabinet and give you tasting notes, was a stellar idea. Definitely worth checking this place out.

Yelp
Love love love Frothy Beard. We've come a few times - sitting both inside & outside. We love their beers & the vibes. The bartenders and servers are very chill and the service is reliable. For food, we've liked the burgers & pizza. They had a dessert pretzel bites last time we went which was also tasty.
google avatar

Andrew B.

Yelp
This is Andrew Butler, your local Charleston Realtor. We love the frothy beard! Great food, great people, my football team won when we went so that was a plus... definitely a place you can feel comfortable spending the whole day if your schedule allows. Enjoy!!

Robert P.

Yelp
Food was great! Probably top 5 for pizza in Charleston. Drinks were good. I will probably stick to just buying the beer at the grocery store though. The service wasn't bad. It was weird. There were those who knew their stuff and then there is the waitress that chugs the rest of your beer behind the bar. Your 16oz pour from a can doesn't all fit into the glass so instead of giving you the can which is still a 1/4 full you now know where it goes. I just kinda feel duped. The mood was chill and trivia always hits.
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
First the service is horrible. When seated we elected to go outside. Well no one told us you don't get any wait staff or menus. We had to then go inside to get menus & order. Not a big deal but wish we were told. There were 6 of us at the party. We got 1 table number. Well they brought the food out 1 dish at a time. By the time last person got the food, first was done. A couple of us got the burger which tasted like some high school cafeteria food. Over cooked & rock hard. The pretzel bites were rock hard, no salt. The pizza was flavorless. The chicken sandwich was over cooked & dry. The mozzarella sticks were awesome. It is extremely over priced for high school cafeteria food. Won't be back & wont recommend it. So many other places for less. Also everything tasted processed & not fresh. Only reason for the 2 stars was the mozzarella sticks were good & the bear was ok.
google avatar

Sarah Mackenzie S.

Yelp
The chicken sandwich (off special menus) was my favorite part. Everything was pretty good. The service was good as well; it wasn't too busy when we went, but it was a good vibe for dinner. They do have a good selection of drafts and speciality beverages as well.

Yelp
Frothy Beard is a super fun, open area restaurant that's always hosting events and games to keep the place lively. Trivia on Thursday nights at 7:30 pm is always a blast, the host really does a great job and makes this one of the best trivia's in the area. The drinks are great with a super wide selection of craft beers, a smaller list of cocktails (including a tasty sangria), and a full bar. They only have one cider on tap, it's simple but tasty and not overly sweet. The food is pretty good, above average but could be better in some areas. The pizza is what they're most well known for and I think you can't go wrong with it. This time around I opted for the nachos and wings; the wings were good but 6 for $11 is pricey. The nachos, having been a big hit in the past, were a little lackluster this time, skimping on the chicken and overdoing the pesto sauce. Overall this is a fun place to visit. The events are great (especially trivia thanks to the charismatic host) and the drink selection is vast. The pizza is good but the other food can be a little hit or miss. I highly recommend to make a visit and check it out!

Jim K.

Yelp
We had lunch at frothy beard this past Saturday. This spot is just fantastic and one of our favorites. The staff are super nice and really hustle. But they are also happy to hang out and offer recommendationS on tasty beers and good food to try. We scored an impossible burger, the vegan chicken sandwich, and a large fresh salad to share. Food was great. And so were the brews. Put this spot on your regular go to list. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Jeremy D.

Yelp
Loved this place! It was a bit overstimulating: the wild decorations, videos, drinks, and food options were literally kind of stunning. We got over it quickly though, and had some of the tastiest nachos we've had in a long time, great chicken wings, great beer, and a pretty good Caesar chicken wrap. We took some locally made popsicles to go, which were a bit pricey but tasty too. Give this place a try!
google avatar

Casey S.

Yelp
I'm gonna leave a simple review to summarize my experience here: The vibe is as amazing as the people who work there.
google avatar

Jasmine K.

Yelp
I absolutely love Frothy Beard. They have different events each month for their customers, and trivia night is my favorite (usually Thursday nights). I pray they do another Disney or Harry Potter night. *wink wink. The food is amazing and the NY slice of pizza is my favorite. It's huge and worth every penny. Now the best part about this spot is the drinks. The 9 3/4 Harry Potter inspired beer is my go to drink. They also have a full bar, so if you're not a beer person you can always get a mixed drink. I almost forgot they have video games setup around the brewery, & a lot of TV inspired decor. Its a game within itself to spot all of the different items around the bar, so if you and your dinner party need something fun to do while you wait my family's favorite is I-spy. We've yet to repeat an item.

Lauren F.

Yelp
Food was 0/10. Maybe people only come for the beer, also very slow service. Nice people but not the greatest experience

Jacob B.

Yelp
Great food and beer. Really enjoyed it. Will be back and try more next time. I had an ipa and a burger very good
google avatar

Alixandra R.

Yelp
Staff is extremely rude. From the hostess to the bartender to the service. Takes 30 minutes to get a drink from the bar. Took over an hour for a server to even come to our table to take our FIRST order. Will not return.
google avatar

Bruce F.

Yelp
Fitst time there. Great atmosphere, good food (Chicken Sand check it out) and great service, thanks Keagan! i only drink IPA. The Sip Sip Pass IPA is great; I bought a 6 pack to take back to Folly Beach.
google avatar

Anita J.

Yelp
Great food and beer and service! Love coming here with friends and listening to music or playing the arcade games in the back. Highly suggest the flights too - it's a great deal and every time I get one the staff gives some great recommendations of beer pairings.

Yelp
Frothy Beard Brewing Company is craft brewery that opened in Charleston, South Carolina in 2013. It was founded by friends Michael Biondi, Steve McCauley and Joey Siconolfi. The trio all met when they were students at Clemson University. After moving to Charleston, they quickly discovered that they shared a passion for home-brewing. After realizing how much time and money they were spending on the activity, they finally decided to take the plunge and open their own brewery. The name of the brewery was inspired by one of their favorite books: "Lord of the Rings". The trio imagined a character from the novel enjoying a beer at the bar with froth all over his beard. Upon opening in 2013, they were only the 10th brewery in South Carolina. Originally located in North Charleston, they relocated to their current spot in West Ashley in 2017. In addition to their tasty brews, Frothy Beard is also known for crafting delicious pizza pies. A second location, entitled Frothy Beard Off World Brewery and Taproom, opened in nearby Summerville in September 2021. My wife and I visited Frothy Bears Brewing Company while we were on an East Coast Road Trip. We were visiting our cousins who live nearby in Summerville (right outside of Charleston). One day they offered to babysit our son so we could go off and have an afternoon to ourselves. We decided to head to the brewery for a delicious pizza and beer lunch. We immediately loved the interior: a nice chill place with lots of humor, movie references, and friendly company. After looking over the drink menu, I ordered a beer flight consisting of "Charleston Moves" (Session IPA), "Sip Sip Pass" (Hazy New England IPA), "Bubbles the Destroyer of Worlds" (IPA), and "Necromancer 4 Roses Bourbon Barrel-Aged" (Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Porter). The latter was my favorite! My wife ordered a glass of Frosé which she loved. For food, we decided to share the "Margherita" (Red base, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, olive oil, garlic) and the "Sun & Sal" (White base with garlic, salami, chives, sun-dried tomato, bit of honey). Both were delicious and paired well with our drinks. Before leaving, I ordered a full pour of "Great White Wit" (Witbier). We had an awesome time at Frothy Beard and will definitely return on a future trip!

Michael S.

Yelp
A wide selection of their own craft beers plus Zombie Bob's pizza make for a great dining experience. Couple that with a a very nerd-centric decor and this place is a winner.

Yelp
When I checked in at Frothy Beard recently for a beer with friends, I was surprised I hadn't left a review. I've been here many times, both for on premises drinking and to pick up beers to take home. Frothy Beard is a fun place to get together with friends or a small group, which has usually been the purpose of most of my visits. They also host a run club as well as events like sip-and-paint, and there's a back room you can rent or reserve for meetings. The atmosphere is perfect for a nerdy, 1990s kid like me. Even with a group, servers walk around to take your food and drink orders, so you don't have to walk up to the bar. A server is assigned to your table, but many tables are high-top, so it may be difficult for someone with accessibility concerns or older people. There's an outdoor area if you prefer and the weather is nice. My favorite beer here is the Tangolorian, which is a 5% ABV tangerine sour. It comes in several sizes- 8 oz. and 16 oz., pitchers, or to-go growlers. Frothy Beard offers tasting flights if you want to try several beers, or cocktails and wine if you're into those. All drinks and food are reasonably priced, but be aware that the menu prices are cash price, and if you pay with a credit card, there is a 4% surcharge. I'm not a big fan of the pizza or food here, although others rave about it and love it, so that's totally subjective. I'm here for the beer and fun events. I also love the local art that decorates the brewery, as the Frothy Bearded Man is the cutest business mascot ever.
google avatar

Alysa H.

Yelp
Love the beer here. There's something for everyone! And the atmosphere is friendly, especially to doggos. Gotta love that. Love the artwork and creativity. It's refreshing to see a brewery that has creative beer names for more than just their IPAs! And Zombie Bob's is always a hit for me. Be prepared to share your plates because they give you a ton of food in each order. Sometimes it can take a while to make the things that need more cook time, especially when they're busy, so plan accordingly for that. Definitely a spot I like to hit when I just want to hang out and enjoy the weather and a good brew!
google avatar

Zach F.

Yelp
A couple years ago I visited Frothy Beard on a visit to town and thought it was fantastic. So, upon returning to Charleston for another visit with a friend, it was our first stop. I'm glad my beer/food tastes have stayed the same. We both ordered flights and a pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it all. They have great ambiance, lots of tvs for sports viewing pleasure, and a good food menu. If the weather is nice, there is ample outdoor seating in addition to tons of indoor tables. I love their branding, their merch and their beer names. Great spot, highly recommend.

Yelp
We tried out this restaurant from a friends recommendation. Neither of us drink alcohol so we were there just for the food. We had the barbecue chicken pizza with no bacon which was very tasty with just the right amount of spice. $15 for a 10 inch pizza with thin crust is definitely overpriced but it was delicious. We also had the Brussel sprouts (small plate for maybe $11?) which were good (probably a six out of 10). The Tennessee moonshine wings ($11 for 6) were very good. Definitely recommend! Some of the drumsticks were quite meaty. And then the monster slice is $8.50 plus $1.50 or $1.75 per each topping you put on. Overall I would say this is elevated bar food that is tasty but very overpriced. Also, be aware that it is very very dark if you sit upstairs... so much so I had to use the light on my phone to even see the menu and definitely could not see my receipt. my pictures are somewhat poor quality because of how dark it was. The ceilings are quite high so it was extremely loud as there are quite a lot of children screaming and folks talking loudly and it echoed around the room. Our waiter was very friendly but I did not have a drink refill for probably 25 minutes and the Brussel sprouts and barbecue pizza were spicy so that was not very pleasant. There did not seem to be a lot of wait staff and we were upstairs so I took that into account. Finally, due to the lighting I could not see my receipt at all and I did not realize that if you use a debit or credit card you are charged a 4% fee which I wasn't very happy about. If you are looking for upscale bar food this is definitely the place to try but keep everything above in mind.

Yelp
Thursday night trivia here is the best and they have cool events each month :) decorations are cool as hell and beer/ service is great!
google avatar

Mary S.

Yelp
I ordered a margarita pizza, and a chicken ceasar salad. Both were very good. The pizza was a little cold, but I used DoorDash for delivery which could be part of it. The salad was definitely enough for 2. Would order again.

Yelp
This West Ashley Brewery has brews and pizza (along with wings and burgers). It has lots of outside picnic type tables. It's a fun spot to meet friends and catch up over drinks. I had a flight of sours mixed with a few wheats. The bartender was personable and helpful. The pizza is huge (it is from Zombie pizza).Nice to have a local brewery in West Ashley.

Yelp
BEST gluten free pizza in a while, I heard the beer was good, i tried their seltzer, it was ok but not my favorite seemed like it was missing something. Lots of cool events coming up and lots of projectors. Can't wait to come back soon!
google avatar

Madison R.

Yelp
They have awesome pizza and beer, and adding to the list, awesome salad! I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and a sour mathematical beer. Both were delicious! It stinks that the prices seem to have gone up, but it is what it is during this time we are in! Staff with a credibly friendly and happy to serve us!

Yelp
Excellent beer choice and a fun environment. Thursday night trivia is a must try event as well.

Yelp
I'm here for this spot! The Scene This open area restaurant usually has cartoons on for kids, some video games to be played, and a couch for lounging. While I haven't partaken, I see a constant stream of events like Star Wars Trivia on Wednesday, Trivia on Thursday, a running club, and vendor fairs. Check the Facebook as they are great on social media posting. The Eats Ok so my Dad drank beer and as I child, I smelled it and took a sip. It was enough to keep me from ever thinking about drinking it. I tried at a brewery in Savannah a few years ago and didn't care for anything I sampled. Now at 42, I sampled the Out at Third - a sweet Belgian Pilsner that has a high alcohol content with banana flavors but still light with a sweet candy aroma. I didn't dislike it as I feel it would pair with pizza very well so I'll give it a full size try next time. I did not like any of the cocktails that we have ever ordered. The food is provided by onsite pizzeria, Zombie Bob, using a beer-infused crust and it really works. I'm not a vegetarian but I really like veggie pizza and they just don't have one outside of adding individual toppings making it an almost $20 personal pizza and that bothers me. Parting Thoughts I love pizza and my fiancé loves the burger so we'll add this to our date nights on trivia nights and drop in for events. It's a great West Ashley spot!

Yelp
Great beers here at Frothy Beard. I decided to stop in after lunch down the street but wished we could have eaten here. I enjoyed the Peppermint Porter(cleverly named, but h forgot) and a cider (from another brewery down the road) while I was there and ended up buying a couple of cans to-go. Overall cool vibe and definitely worth stopping by if you're looking for lunch, entertainment, and of course, a good beer!

Yelp
This place is a beer person's nerd heaven! They have so many good beers and drinks and the atmosphere is awesome. Just look at the photos attached. The staff is awesome. They have tvs all over with controllers with load outs to soooooo. Any games. Such a cool place!

Yelp
Best family friendly brewery in town! the staff is so accommodating to kids, and know how to navigate the most random questions my kids had about the menu or ninja turtles (they have ninja turtles shirts and posters everywhere ) ! Their food is so good (highly recommend the brussels sprouts and pizza!) and their beer specials rotate and I've never been disappointed! this weekend their beer special was a ninja turtle variety pack, and my kids seemed more excited than I was! Also want to give a shout out to Finn (a.k.a. Mark!) who is by far the best waiter we have had here in Charleston! he is also the mascot of frothy beard, and was so sweet to the kids! we will definitely be going back again real soon just to hang out with Mark

Yelp
I like the pizza a lot but maybe it's an off day that day but I felt the bartender was kinda rushing us when we were there. I honestly drink super slow and take my time so ... I love that they have seasonal activities , if you follow their social media you could choose. They had a farmers market thing once and axe throwing occasionally. Good place to just hang and grab a beer that locally brewed
