Beyond amazing. Patient and kind staff as well. It’s hard to eat regular ice cream (even if it’s vegan) after tasting how incredible fruit ice cream is here bc it’s a MUCH healthier option. It’s incredibly rich and flavorful and super filling. The chocolate was decadent! Pistachio , divine! And PB…delectable. Enjoy!

What makes Frozen Fruit Co even better is how much they actually connect with their customers. This ice cream is a dream! 🤤🤤🤤. I’ve enjoyed every flavor I’ve tried. I love that the ingredients are very clean (mostly date sweetened, coconut based). It’s decadent and rich so I like to take it home and eat it slowly, a little bit at a time! Even the “fancier” flavors use clean ingredients and I love the they make flavors with sweet laurel cookies (a local gluten free paleo bakery that is also a dream!) Michael (the co-owner) is so lovely and friendly ~ as is everyone who works here. The store is always clean and cheerful, and visiting always makes my inner child happy. Can’t recommend enough!

Vegan or not, you must take the risk of falling in love with this ice cream temple. Every scoop of ice cream is not only full of creaminess and the perfect balance of sweetness and the natural flavor of fruits where Mike and Vic make honor to the name of "Frozen Fruit Co" but a healthy and refreshing indulgence. Do not believe me, I'm just a guy who doesn't really like ice cream. Actually, when I take my daughter out to get ice cream, I usually order coffee or water... But I'm the same guy who doesn't care to drive 50 miles from home to go to get a couple of pints of passion fruit or Lemon-lime ice cream or strawberry sorbet. This is not like the commercial and massive Ben & Jerry's ice cream you find at the supermarket, this is a blend of "Big Love"

Ordered the chocolate and mint chip. Both divine. This ice cream is dense and delish, the store bought vegan ice cream doesn’t compare for the quality of Frozen Fruit Co, there is a gummy filler taste with many other brands while this place has a fresh dense taste. I can eat half a pint and feel great after …and satisfied! I highly recommend. A suggestion to offer gluten free Oreos would be appreciated!

I am so happy we stopped in this place for a sweet treat! I was worried about it being vegan, but this was better than regular ice cream. It is creamy and not too sweet. The raspberry truffle was everything I hoped it would be- tart and rich. The employee was very friendly and seemed passionate about the ice cream and the ingredients used to make it.

THE BEST and only ice cream I will eat! My whole family is hooked on this clean, sweet treat and will literally drive an hour to pick up pints! It is amazing - and allergen free with only the best ingredients and is just absolutely delicious. (My brother has celiac & has never had an issue!) Not to mention, the owners are just the best and care so much about their customers. We love frozen fruit co and when we moved we joked that the only con was moving farther away from FFC. Seriously we love it! Loyal customers for 5+ years & we will be for life!

If you are dairy free and love ice cream this is the place to go! I had the chocolate coconut ice cream, and it was mouthwatering! I tasted very healthy and satisfied my chocolate craving! The service is great because they do answer all your questions! The place is really small, so there is nowhere to sit!

THE BEST VEGAN ICE CREAM IN LA!! Or any other part of the world honestly. You cannot tell that the ice cream is made from minimal, clean ingredients as it is so rich and creamy. Not only is the ice cream delicious, the service here every time has been on point. Every worker is so friendly and has the best attitude.

Really loved trying all the flavors. Michael the owner was there and gave us the whole backstory. It has the creaminess of real ice cream and not too sweet just perfect. Highly recommended to add toppings like the dark chocolate and the chocolate sprinkles! I would say the winner is the Tuesday special The chocolate peanut butter!

I love the vegan ice cream here! I just Postmated a couple pints, & my sealed bag came with the cutest drawings on it. Very sweet! The flavors I picked today were both favorites: Strawberry Shortcake - with soft Sweet Laurel cake chunks, so good! Lemon Cream - slightly coconutty, lemony, & smooth - love this! Both flavors were just the right amount of not very sweet, to let the fruity flavors come through. There's never any regret after eating these yummy, clean treats! Highly recommend!

Delicious!!! Finally tried out this lovely vegan ice cream spot and they did not disappoint. I got two scoops of their limited Twixx flavor and it was very tasty. They have friendly and efficient service and give generous amounts. Some seating inside and out to enjoy with your friends or loved ones

Disappointed.... as a holistic food blogger who is vegan and gluten free my boyfriend and I were so excited to find this place and baffled why we didn't sooner considering we live down the street. We had a hankering for ice cream and from everything we saw online it seemed right up our alley. I always appreciate when any business is fully transparent with the ingredients they use and are health conscious which this place is. We popped in tonight and immediately loved the vibe. It's cute and clean even though it's a bit small. We were drawn in by the strawberry cheesecake but their special tonight was cookies and cream so we decided to get that. I got one scoop of that with sprinkles and my boyfriend got that and the passionfruit. At first the flavor seemed really bitter to me but I kept eating it and then started to hit the cookie chunks which (and I could be wrong here) seemed to be raw to me which made the texture unpleasant. The whole scoop was just filled with the cookie crumble and it really detracted from the ice cream itself. It was VERY rich and bitter. I had to stop eating it. The passionfruit was fantastic (we both loved it) but I'm not kidding when I say we both got super nauseous immediately from the cookies and cream. I really think it was the flavor (which just had a confusing taste personally) and the cookie crumble which was almost raw and frozen inside. The service was great and we love the concept so definitely want to come back and perhaps try the strawberry cheesecake or a more fruity flavor and give that a shot cause we really want to like this place but this experience was just super unpleasant and disappointing. I will update review once I go back with my next experience!

Michael and his wife turn out the MOST incredible gf, df, rsf ice creams in the world. I don't know how they do it but they're truly spectacular!! Such a wonderful company, smaller family-owned, I'm not sure how it's not blown up even more -- but it's my favorite ice cream spot and it's healthy?! WILD. BIG LOVE

Killer flavors! Aside from their big portions, what I did, was ask for my topping in between the scoops so it doesn't spill out the side. Such nice service and such a cute place 11/10 recommend.

This is our new favorite spot! First of all, one scoop costs around $7-$10, but unlike other places, you get a huge scoop. The ice cream is delicious, though some of the milk-based flavors can be a bit rich. My favorite is the strawberry ice cream,It's not sweet at all and incredibly refreshing. The service is fast and friendly, and they always help me split one scoop between my family since it's so big.and they only charge for one cup Great place!

This is everything I want as a dairy free person! I love that it's super simple ingredients too! I share the peanut butter salted caramel with my son before we go to the park and it makes both of us so happy to have a sweet treat. Also enjoyed the strawberry and cream and the mint chip. Highly recommend if you are dairy free or just try to natural sugar like dates and maple syrup, so delicious!

The best clean ingredients ice cream you will find in all of Los Angeles! The ice cream is SO delicious. I can't even believe it's dairy free. Really unique flavors. Everyone who works here is super sweet and just such a pleasure. Cute benches to sit outside by the waterfall but super casual and just perfection. Love the vibe and energy of entire place

I came here with some friends for a sweet treat because two of us are vegan and my friends seemed to be quite impressed with the flavor of the ice cream. I was more impressed by the simplicity of the ice creams and the transparency of ingredients. I appreciate how they made each treat as simple and natural as possible. I tried a bite of the strawberry ice cream and it was honestly more like a sorbet than an ice cream since the ingredients are only strawberries and agave. I loved the flavor and my friends said the flavor was very refreshing. I thought it tasted like the strawberry sorbets that I can get a pint for less at a grocery store. However, I appreciate the sustainable message and commitment to the environment and healthiness that this small business supports. I hope they flourish with those values. I thought the cashier was nice and she did allow samples to a family that I saw come in after us. My friend asked for what was popular and she politely described the two or three top flavors. It was an enjoyable experience. There's no indoor seating but there is a nice counter you can kind of lean on.

This place is changing the ice cream game for the better. As soon as we walked in, the passionate owner greeted us with a big, warm smile and eagerly asked us if we'd like to try this weekend's special flavor. First sign that this ice cream was going to be a hit. Samples were encouraged. Many samples later, my wife and I both settled on the snickerdoodle and sea salt chocolate. Although every single flavor that we tried was divine. Ok, onto the specifics of the product. Wow. Creamy, smooth, fresh, decadent, and... all natural and vegan?! Made with nothing but fresh, whole, ingredients and sweetened with dates?! Love this healthy, wholesome take on ice cream. And love that it makes my taste buds sing. It's easy to miss this charming, hole in the wall spot if you're strolling down Montana street. So put Frozen fruit Co on on your radar and stop by for some of the best ice cream that you'll ever have, complimented by top-notch service.

I stopped in for some vegan ice cream. Chose the mint chocolate chip, didn't even try any other flavors bc it was so good. Highly recommend. Big serving for just one scoop too.

Unbelievably delicious vegan chocolate ice cream OMG!!! Creamy, chocolatey, perfectly sweet - I could eat this every day.

Still one of the best dessert spots in LA. Came here for an afternoon sweet treat and had a scoop of the strawberry as well as the chocolate sea salt. Everything is made fresh and is vegan/dairy-free. The employee helping us gave us samples to decide between the chocolate and chocolate sea salt (the chocolate sea salt has extra oomph while the chocolate is very sweet). There's a bench outside with a fountain. Credit cards accepted. You can get points each time you visit. Again, it's a lovely spot to get (relatively) healthy yet tasty dessert.

We have been regulars here for years and love it. My husband is avoiding refined sugar, so loves that he can get a sweet treat here that is sweetened with dates. We love the almond biscotti, mint chocolate chip and chocolate peanut butter. Also the special with cherries. Delicious! The staff has always been extremely friendly to us. Our teenager still prefers dairy ice cream, but this is perfect for us. We also love the waffle cones! Delicious!

Michael and his staff are so sweet! I enjoyed the Almond Biscotti flavor SO much, that when I mentioned it to him he made another batch just for me and let me know when it was ready. All of the flavors are so delicious and they use Sweet Laurel cookies for some of them which is awesome, but you cannot go wrong with any of them! Also worth mentioning, this is the first vegan/gf ice cream that while eating the pint, I haven't been able to stop it's so good... and that says a lot! HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERY FLAVOR.

Whoa surprise find on a visit to see my son who is an undergrad at ucla working the summer at a lab until Fall term. We are fans! Thank you for innovating such a healthy option for dessert. Probably the best plant-based dairy free ice cream spot out there. I made a stop with one other person during the weekend. We were greeted by the nice girl there who offered us samples immediately. She was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. I love that they do not use added sugar or artificial sweeteners. Their ice creams are made with very few ingredients which I like. I loved everything I tried. They're known for their salted chocolate which is pretty good. They have featured flavors that are different everyday. On the day we went they a chocolate strawberry one that was really good. We shared a single scoop which consist of any two flavors of your choice. We got their salted caramel and vanilla. OMG a single scoop is quite large and was only about $6. The salted caramel is my favorite. It was perfect. Vanilla is also a goodie. Their ice creams are very creamy and smooth. Their pricing is so good for what they offer and how much they give you. It's additional for toppings but no toppings needed for me. I really want to come back and try their peanut butter one when they offer it. I'm kind of a eat-clean kind of person so I was very happy I found this place. I highly recommend if you are like that as well.

I love this place! The vegan ice cream is delicious and made from bananas and coconuts instead of cream. It is honestly better tasting than regular ice cream! They always have Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Salted Chocolate and Salted Mint Chip. The salted Chocolate and Salted Mint Chip are my favorites! In addidinton to these wonderful flavors they have weekly specials! I think the cofee and cookie dough are the best I've ever had! Highly recommend!

A diamond in the rough when it comes to healthy vegan ice cream! Frozen Fruit Co has a vast array of creative flavors in their vibrant, flowery storefront with the friendliest servers. I absolutely adore their weekend specials and Thursday flavors. Don't forget to take a picture because their wallpaper and decor are adorable!

Really delicious and such a cute shop!!! The store is so tiny and adorable, I really loved the vibe of it. The ice cream is also delicious. I tried most of the flavors and enjoyed them all. Some of them do have a stronger coconut taste but not in a bad way, just a more tropical way. I got the strawberry and the banana pudding. Both were AMAZING. The strawberry was so refreshing and the banana pudding was the perfect balance between creaminess and fruitiness. I would love to get both of these flavors again.

Yeah...why is this 4.8 stars again? We were in Santa Monica, wanted ice cream after dinner, and saw this had good reviews. We were badly informed. First of all, most of the flavors you see in the pictures weren't available. So we went with a chocolate cone and a strawberry and vanilla one. The chocolate...did not taste like chocolate. The vanilla...did not taste of vanilla. The strawberry at least tasted like strawberry...if you removed all the sweetness. And all three had a weird aftertaste. The primary flavor of the chocolate and vanilla was coconut. Yeah, I know they've made with coconut milk, that doesn't mean the primary flavor should be coconut. Trader Joe's coconut cream ice cream tastes like ice cream. This doesn't. And the waffle cones...I compared the flavor to teething biscuits. My wife to the cheap-o cones from the store, ground up and pressed into waffles. At least they didn't taste like coconut. We do not recommend...an are unsure why anyone else does.

Best ice cream on Montana. Everywhere else is too sweet - FFC seems to nail it most every time. And the one time it was too sweet, they were willing to swap out what I got (it was a pint). Always nice staff, I always love going in there. Worth the price, always impresses people, both who are vegan/dairy free or not. Will be coming back for the lovely strawberry chocolate combo. Also I should mention - I never like chocolate ice cream, except here.

Just called four times and the Gen Z cashier is too important to answer the phone when I can see the store is empty. Was trying to save time with my kid in the car, now going to save time not visiting this place at all. Screw you for treating people who call like that. So it goes without saying, the ice cream is top notch, tastes great, the flavors are always rotating, and the ingredients are generally healthy sources of calories. But the service, that's where they really stand out from the rest. Austin especially, whether it's in person, or via Uber Eats, that dude is so friendly, positive and uplifting! We're so lucky to have this special treat right here and local in Santa Monica.

Hands down my favorite vegan ice cream on the west side. It's light, airy, and creamy. I cannot get enough! I can't believe it's vegan. They are consistently delicious and the service is always great. If you are used to regular ice cream this has a similar creamy consistency but isn't as rich or dense - it's much lighter.

I can't believe everything is made from 3-5 ingredients!! I got their Salted Caramel scoop for $4.95! (ITS A HUGE SCOOP) with some mini peanut butter cups ($1.00 each) You really can't tell that these are made with only 3-5 ingredients! Such a simple recipe but such amazing flavor!! I really underestimated this place because a lot of the time when places say they only use few ingredients they always end up tasting bland or without much flavor. Not here though! It really tasted like salted caramel coconut Ice cream! A thing to note though if you don't like coconut you probably won't like the cream based flavors! Thank you for being awesome Frozen Fruit Co!

We make a special trip to get "ice cream" (really this stuff is technically sorbet) here every time we are in LA. This is solidly our favorite frozen dessert shop anywhere. My lactose intolerant husband appreciates that they are 100% non-dairy without sacrificing anything taste-wise (at least on our preferred flavors). I appreciate that they are healthier than the average dessert shop. Our favorite flavors are passion fruit and chocolate, but any of the fruit flavors are excellent.

My kids loooove the ice cream here. Well I do too who am I kidding? I feel better indulging in an almost daily ice cream habit in the summer with real food ingredients. I also don't feel as guilty knowing my kids won't get a huge sugar rush after here. We've tried the majority of the flavors and have taken pints home (albeit a little pricey!) My only complaint is that they used to sweeten the fruit flavors with fruit juices like the strawberry and recently I noticed they changed it from fruit juice to agave. Agave??? That's like a major sugar rush/spike. That was pretty disappointing which is why I took off a star. Otherwise it's a nice treat for the family.

Best icecream df/gf. Kindest workers and the best owner. Always buy 3-6 pints to take home with me as I don't live in the area and it always goes so fast. The whole family loves it. They also re did their shop and it is so cute inside!! You also get points every-time you go...10 points = 6.75 off which is the best deal ever. Cannot recommend enough :)

Yummy and delicious. Free parking in the back which is a huge plus so you don't have to drive around fort street parking. No seating available other than a bench in front of the fountain. They claim all sugar is from fruit sugar only. Sweet but not too sweet, which is great. Just the perfect amount. Mint chocolate was great. Mango swirl was ok only. Cute place. Next to Kai ramen.

The best ice cream I have ever tasted. It's addictive and you'll never want your scoop to end. I like that they use date sugar or agave. If you have high cholesterol I have read that you do not want to eat too much coconut cream which is the base they use to make this ice cream. I have to warn you because you will want to eat an entire bucket of this delicious dessert.

So obsessed with Frozen Fruit Co lately , but have only ever had it from Truckie in Studio City. I literally need this stuff on the weekly. I'm not the biggest fan of a lot of ice creams and I love vegan everything so Frozen Fruit Co is a dream come true. I'm addicted to the Banana Bread with Almond Butter topping. This is the most satisfying treat around as my other fav vegan yogurt options are both not as close to home. I've tried the passion fruit before but lately I feel it's been a definite second to the banana bread and I don't even like bananas. Every flavor is just a handful of ingredients which you have to respect when they come out tasting this delish! I have only ever had them when I've been out walking or hiking so I haven't been in a position to buy pints (actually not even certain you can from truckie, I'm probably just wishing you can) because you'll want to eat this stuff by the pint. I want to try their new secret off menu coffee flavor but they didn't have it on my most recent visit. Find them in front of Barnes and Noble on Ventura Blvd (perfect while out walking or an after dinner dessert option in the area) if you're looking for a very yummy plant based ice-cream. You won't be disappointed even if consuming dairy is more your speed.

FroFru is amazing! It's our go-to place for dessert since it's gluten free and dairy free and no added sugar! In fact, the taste is so good you have to remind yourself that it's just made with fruit! Such a healthy but delicious alternative to ice cream or even frozen yogurt, our whole family loves it. Plus, the staff is always friendly -- the whole place gives off such positive vibes! Five stars, highly recommended.

Excited to finally try this all vegan ice cream spot! I tasted the chocolate mint, passion fruit, and chocolate. All flavors were great and the texture of the creamy flavors was pretty comparable to regular ice cream! I ended up getting a scoop of chocolate with mochi, it was $5.45 but worth it for a tasty non-dairy treat. They also have a food truck and sell at Erewhon! Hope to stop by again soon!

If you have a hankering for a naughty sweet treat but don't want to deal with the consequences of said treat : you might want to check out FFC. Everything is made with few, simple, natural ingredients -- dairy free AND free of added sugars. I had the Vanilla Berry which would have been AMAZING if the berry blend wouldn't have been such hard ice chunks amidst a tiny bit of their plant-based vanilla "ice cream". Maybe it was a bad batch? My boyfriend ordered the salted chocolate and it had a DREAMY, soft consistency that tasted like a Wendy's frosty. DECADENT.
