We had an incredible dining experience at Frugatti. The food was top-notch, with rich flavors and perfectly prepared pasta. We particularly enjoyed some of the dishes that tasted truly homemade. But of them , need a better presentation, for example, Filet tip Over Fettucini AlfredoOur server, Michelle, was attentive and friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made it the perfect setting for our diner with co-workers. We'll be back for sure.

I love this place. Found this hidden gem online while in the area for work. I'm now actively seeking other jobs in the area just so I can't return. I've taken three of my co-workers here and all agree this is one of the most not just Italian, but amazing restaurants I've had the pleasure to frequent. Never had a meal that wasn't amazing. Not a single trip where the staff didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Visited for the first time on a Wednesday night was told is was less busy good thing we did, made reservations for 7:00 PM don't know how we haven't been here before Place is very inviting and accommodating our food was just great, didn't know what to go for. service was outstanding WE WILL BE RETURNING FOR MORE. we were most definitely impressed and that is hard to do

In Bakersfield for a church conference. Staying at Home2 Suites across the street. Went to dinner at Frugattis. Got there about 5:30ish. Busy but not a long wait for a table. Our waitress, Dawn, was fabulous. The food was amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection. Everything was so good. By the time we left there were dozens of people waiting to be seated. If we lived here, we’d be in trouble because I’d want to eat here all the time.

Frugatti’s Restaurant is the longest relationship I’ve had with any Italian restaurant here locally — over 9 years of visits and they’ve consistently delivered on both taste and atmosphere. Dining here feels like stepping into a place with a rich history, where the flavors are as comforting as the environment. The service has always been warm and attentive, the drinks are crafted with quality, and the desserts seal the experience perfectly. It’s a place that never disappoints and always welcomes you back like family. 🍷🍝

Garrett was my server tonight. This was my first visit here and I was recommended to come here by a new acquaintance. She said it was her favorite Italian restaurant! Well, on Garrett's recommendation, I ordered the shrimp scampi. Oh my gosh, the pasta and the shrimp were unbelievable. I finished off the evening with Mama's carrot cake. Fresh sponge with creamy icing. Just perfect. If you are looking for great Italian fair and great service, check out Frigatti's in Bakersfield. You won't regret it!

I loved the shrimp fettuccine it was delicious💯, everyone else in my table complained about their steaks not being cooked how they wanted it. Instead of returning it they just ate it because they were hungry😅 overall we had a good dinner. I think the place is really nice and cute. The walls in the place need cleaning.

First time here since it was built. I must say the restaurant is so beautiful inside. Definitely great energy! Our waiter Andrew was amazing. Making us feel welcomed. He recommended delicious dishes. Thank you to him for that! We are definitely coming back!!

My sis in law recommended this place and it was a total hit! After a long drive we came in hungry on a Saturday night and the restaurant was completely full. The wait time was about 40 minutes so we found a spot at the bar and hungry as we were, ended up having dinner there. Portion sizes were very generous and make it easy to share. We ordered way too much food, as usual, and loved our time spent there. At the end of the meal, I was intrigued by the keto cheesecake, and I can honestly say it was the only thing I had that wasn't so good. It came as a small tarte, and had a really bitter flavor to it. I would not recommend it! Everything else was delicious and was plated beautifully. Service was top-knotch, and parking was plentiful as they share a lot with the adjacent hotel. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town!

Had an early dinner at Frugatti's with my parents, and we had the best time! The food was delicious as always, but our server Matthew totally stole the show. He was so sweet, super attentive, and honestly just a blast to chat with. We spent half the meal laughing and joking around he made the whole experience that much better. Frugatti's never disappoints, but having Matthew as our server made it even better. 10/10 recommend both the Gorgonzola pasta with shrimp and asking for Matthew next time!

My husband and I went on Sunday and he got shrimp scampi and I got shrimp fettuccine. We brought out food home and my daughter ate it hat was left of the shrimp scampi My food gave me the runs My husband diarrhea BAD My daughter threw up Sunday into Monday non stop! It's Thursday and she is barely eating again. Piece of advice: BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN YOU ORDER SEAFOOD. We ate here early this year and I got sick but NOT that bad Two times is MORE THAN ENOUGH for us Our server was Amazing Place looks clean and nice

My son said, "I'm buying dinner tonight, where do you want to eat ?" We came to Frugatti's of course! Service was a bit slow, but they were packed. Ordered a glass of wine, some garlic bread, and of course some main dishes. The place is decorated for Christmas and you can catch Santa and some elves.

The parking lot was absolutely packed; we walked in as a family of 4 expecting an hour wait. We waited about 10 minutes or so to be seated. We were seated in their enclosed patio area. It was a very nice vibe, our waitress was bubbly, personable, and never had us go without. She was on top of refills and getting us anything we needed. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms (SO GOOD!!) as an appetizer. Since it is Christmas time, they had 2 elves hidden, and if you find them, you just let your server know and they give you candy canes. (The kids loved that). Everything was delicious and we were in and out within about an hour and twenty minutes total. I love supporting local, especially when it is so good!

of course we had to come back for our family favorite Frugattis!!! we absolutely love the food here. Five stars every time. The service is top-notch as well. They had a fun little game to play with the kids with two little elves. If you found the else you got a candy cane, but it was strictly for the kids. I tried to play too. lol. Since they moved to the new location, this building is second to none in Bakersfield. Everything is spick n spam. It's so clean in here. You feel like you could almost drop food on the floor and eat it. I don't recommend. I'm just saying.

Bakersfield Italian staple. The renovation looks beautiful and the space looks great. The decor feels like I left Bakersfield. I'm afraid the service is really long, but we did have a party of 8. We were also unlucky enough to have the furthest corner so I'm sure that doesn't help us either. The food is good, with notes of our favorites: Chicken Parm - standard, always dependable. Big pieces of breast make it hefty. I wish it came with more of the garlic mushrooms cause they were awesome. Braciole - a special for a reason. Good amount of meat, large plate that would work for two. Meat was tender too. Truffle Sacchetti - good amount! Has chicken too which helps. Hard to compare to Luigi's, I think Luigi's tastes better but you get a much better quantity from here.

Found this jewel while traveling to Northern California fantastic atmosphere very nice waitresses and the food was just delicious. I wish I had one of these restaurants near me.

Last night was my 2nd night back to the new location. It was just okay, for the prices, I'd rather go to Uricchio's, but I wasn't buying and it wasn't my decision to make. It was extremely loud, could barely hear the person across from me. I ordered the same dish as last time, half fettuccine Alfredo and half ravioli with meat sauce. It was fine. ***SPOILER ALERT: If you want to add a side salad it is now $6.99!*** Our server was very friendly and helpful, I wish I could remember his name. Last but not least, I understand that restaurants are busy on the weekend, and want to flip tables as quickly as possible, but I dislike being rushed. I had taken 3 bites of salad when my entree was brought out. That irritated me. I'm sure I'll only return if it's someone else's choice again. It's too bad. The food was so good at the last location.

We had another great experience at Frugattis Tuesday night celebrating my daughter-in-law's and niece's birthdays. Our group of 10 was greeted and seated by our super waitress Laura she was fantastic no waiting on anything . We had reservations for 4 PM. It's a great time before the crowds start arriving. Water and delicious warm bread and butter were brought out immediately. There was no rush on getting our orders in. It gave us time to visit and enjoy our drinks. All of our dinners came out at the same time our steaks were tender and delicious. My shrimp were plump and large asparagus just right. I saw calzones that covered the entire plates . Our early evening dinners were outstanding. The birthday girls were brought out complementary pieces of carrot cake I had a bite,absolutely fantastic. Another great dining experience thank you to all the staff at Frugatti's

Our office personnel had lunch today and sat at the Sinatra table. Our server, Roberto, was attentive and made great recommendations. My coworkers steaks were cooked to perfection and I ordered the chicken breast with mushroom sauce, which was delicious! Prices were reasonable for the quality. Love the atmosphere and definitely return!

THE best pizza we have ever eaten in all of California!!! A*M*A*Z*I*N*G Bolognese was tasty as well. Hubby said the original lasagna was almost as good as mine... LoL

If you love fettuchini you want to live at this place Soooooooo good. And the server was so on it! I sell ads and this is a place I would take clients. They are so on top of everything. They treated us the same as you would think you would be served for a lot more than they charged and their good especially pasta and pizza is so authentic and you can enjoy it because you don't have to worry about some crazy bill coming. The server made sure we always had drinks and even walked my son to where the bathroom was and he came back to the table smiling so that's saying something good cause he is so shy! We love this place! You will just watch!

Stopped by after a corporate video shoot with my coworkers and needless to say it was a great experience! The staff was attentive and offered great recommendations to us. Photos of food were missed as we were 3 extremely ravenous men in the face of great dishes. I had the Bracciole, their signature, but do not let its description fool you. That plate would have easily filled two empty stomachs. Two thick slices of meat over some perfectly dente pappardelle and a well balanced but hearty bolognese sauce. My coworkers got the chicken parm and the spicy italian, can't give taste input on their behalf but easy to say we all had a good amount of leftovers just from the sheer amount of food on our plates! If I am ever back in the area I would 100% stop by!

Fruggatis is the real deal what can I say that hasn't already been said? My only regret was not coming here sooner. The service was amazing the establishment is beautiful and the food is delicious and the portions are huge. My only complaint is that the mashed potatoes with my steak were a bit under seasoned but the rest of our meal was delicious. Definitely try their carrot cake it's amazing the cream cheese frosting is fluffy and you can tell it's homemade.

Service was amazing. I forgot to take pictures of dinner. For dinner we got the 1-chicken piccata (perfectly made, tender melt in your mouth chicken). 2-butternut squash ravioli. It's served in brown butter & toasted sage. Only thing is.. it had cinnamon in it. I didn't see that mentioned on the menu, and it killed the sage flavor. So I took off a star for that. Great vibes, clean bathroom. The desserts were amazing!! See my pictures. Their Carrot cake is next level.

This is my first time coming to the new location and probably my last unfortunately. Now this is just my opinion, my experience. I'm sure people love it (or not) but I'm not coming back. I can't understand how they put out food looking and tasing the way it did lol. My ravioli was in a bed of soupy sauce, not thick sauce. Ewww disgusting. So I was offered another option so I ordered a steak, medium. Well I got it well done, & sooo dry!! lol. I didn't want to complain about two dishes so I just paid & left. See my pics... And to make things worse, I got sat by the kitchen which had the door wide open the whole time and I couldn't help but notice how disgusting it was. No thank you!! At least close the door so people don't see how dirty it is. That's how Golden Corral got caught up. To the GM or owner, no need to apologize or respond unless you will comp me another meal. I don't recommend the new restaurant to my family & friends. Little Italy Restaurant is the place to go

I highly recommend Frugattis's for the warm hospitality and flavorful and delicious Italian cuisine. My friend and I went to dinner tonight and had an exceptionally nice dining experience. Our waitress was extremely sweet, professional, and friendly. She was knowledgeable and answered any questions we had (I needed help picking out a wine and her suggestion of the house wine was excellent). I believe her name is Kenia . Thank you! Both my friend and I enjoyed our meals as well. My friend tried the chicken piccata and I ordered the lasagna. Everything came out smoothly and timely. We had time to enjoy our appetizer; a particularly flavorful and satisfying bruschetta. One of the best I've tried in a while. My Caesar salad was refreshing. The portions are quite large compared to previous restaurants I've tried and this was a nice surprise. As for entrees, My lasagna was savory and filling with a good balance of meat, sauce, and cheese. The chef prepared it to perfection and I enjoyed sharing it with my friend, who also enjoyed it. I wish I would've taken a picture. It was a large portion as well. I shared nearly 30% of it with my friend and still had plenty to take home. She loved her chicken piccata. The flavors were balanced, and nicely buttered, mixed with a splash of lemon zest. The sauce over the asparagus was lightly creamy, almost like a silky golden brown coat that blended the flavor without being too heavy or too much like gravy. Finally, the cannolis! These were absolutely heavenly. Satisfying crisp, peppered and drizzled in chocolate, and filled to the brim with a light, fluffy, lush ricotta cream. Mixing the cream with the chocolate produced a lovely mousse. The proportions were great for two people. Also, the price point was reasonable, given the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and fantastic hospitality. 11/10.

My husband and I came to Frugattis for our anniversary dinner. It was a Friday night so we made reservations which were very helpful. We waited just a short time until our table was ready. Our server Desiree was great. She made suggestions and even wished us a happy anniversary. Food was delicious! At the end of the meal our server even brought us a complimentary dessert to end the night. I will say the restaurant should think about lowering the lights, especially in the evening. There were a lot of couples and I think doing this would really set the mood.

This is a good Italian restaurant it's a bit different style of Italian cuisine. The restaurant decor is great it's pretty authentic. It is a very busy place I highly suggest making a reservation if not you will have a wait. The service is really good for how busy the restaurant is the servers are on top of things. The food portions or big including the appetizers you will definitely not leave hungry they have a pretty good dessert menu. The carrot cake is out of this world. The price for the food is reasonable and not overly priced also the adult drinks or good and reasonable also go and check out this establishment. I am pretty sure you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend it..

Always nice to share a meal with good company. We chose Frugatti's this evening. We got the private Wine Cave room just behind the hostess stand primarily for the entire service dinner. Our waiter was certainly attentive and suggested their top three appetizers: stuffed mushrooms, spicy parm chicken things and bruschetta. Everything was delicious to wet our appetite. I ordered their lemon drop martini. Two for the night to be exact. For my entree, I ordered the Roasted Red Pepper Pesto Chicken with Sun Dried Tomatoes. Although good, I should have ordered something with the Alfredo sauce. All in all, it was a nice relaxing evening.

We always try to stop at Frugatti's when we are in Bakersfield. It is just the best Italian food. The place is so pretty and clean and they really take good care of it. Parking is super easy and the prices are fair. The service is so nice and they always get our order right and we always get a pizza to take back to our hotel if staying the night. Everything there is so good. They have a great menu and there is something for everyone. They have wood fired pizza which is out of this world great. All of their pasta are just the best and some of them are wood fired. Their salads are the best and they have a few to pick. If you are vegetarian they have a lot for you. If you are vegan it is much more limited, but they have a few really good menu choices. We just love this place and you will to.

5 of us went to Frutatti's for a belated 2 birthday lunch. We made a rez and were seated immediately, even though 1 guest was slightly late. Our service was top notch. 3 people ordered from the Lunch Specials menu, and 2 ordered from regular. We all had iced tea, which was kept full the whole time. The birthday girls both got free desserts, which was a great surprise. I picked up the bill, which was about $100 LESS than I expected it to be. Those lunch specials really make a difference! Great experience!

We had a wonderful experience last night celebrating our 12th year anniversary. We didn't make a reservation, but even though the restaurant was bustling, we seated after only 10 minutes. Our waitress was a doll, I wish I could remember her name. After maybe 3 minutes of being seated, she came over and took our drink order. I decided to try their Raspberry Italian Lemon Drop Martini and my husband, as usual, stuck to the classic margarita. The flavor of the lemon drop Martini was fantastic. A little too sweet with the sugared rim, but it was strong! As for the Margarita? I didn't hear any complaints. The restaurant itself is so beautiful both inside and out. I felt transported as soon as I entered. There are many Italian details from the rat pack painting in their lobby, to the Vespa above the bar, to what I assume are family portraits that line the walls. The open layout, the table lines, even the twinkling lights in their shrubbery are all beautiful details. I ended up ordering the Lobster Ravioli and my husband ordered the chicken Picatta. Complimentary bread was brought out which was great and we had our meal within 20-30 minutes after placing it! Food was amazing! We had spent the whole evening talking g but as soon as our food arrived it was silence at our table. Portions are LARGE. we ended up eating maybe a 3rd of the plate and asked for containers to take our leftovers home. Lastly, we ordered cannolis for dessert, and our server said it was on the house with it being our anniversary. It was such a kind gesture and a sweet surprise to end our night. Frugatti's had to be one of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time. All staff is attentive from the hostesses, to the buss boys. This will now be one of our regular dinner spots, for sure!

The restaurant is a nicer scale restaurant perfect for families. The servers were very friendly and patient. The food was phenomenal!! The bread came out hot and perfectly toasted but fluffy. We got the appetizer sampler and it was pretty good but I will be trying something else if I come back. The truffle sacchetti was SO good. It is a must-try dish if you love truffle and pesto! I would eat it every day if I could. They seem homemade and have the perfect amount of sauce and filling.

It's not cheap, but it's worth it. Service was excellent, with great wine suggestions & food choices were perfection. 1000% recommend.

The food is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend setting up a reservation online especially if you have a date and time in mind for the future since it does tend to get busy, especially Friday - Sunday. The staff is always nice and helpful. My partner and I love celebrating at Frugatti's. I always go with Theresa's Favorite Tortellini. A classic. It has such a mouthful of flavor and creaminess. The lobster ravioli were to die for! The sauce is heavenly and the mash potatoes are just so smooth. The best mash potatoes you'd ever have! We started off with a side salad of Caesar Salad and let me tell you, that was definitely bigger than expect. The dressing tastes homemade and fresh. I loved every bite. We decided to get the red raspberry cheesecake since we typically get the tiramisu (which if you are in the fence of which dessert just get the tiramisu you cannot miss with that one). The cheese cake was rich and just the perfect amount of sweetness. The red raspberries on top were the perfect combination. Everything about the food at Frugatti's is just amazing!

I waited what I thought was a good amount of time before even attempting to try the new location. Apparently, I didn't give them enough time, as our wait time was just over an hour. The new location is beautifully done and so much bigger and brighter than the old location. It's also so much easier to get to as the old location was hard to get into the parking lot! Speaking of parking lots, this one sucks! It was pouring raining and after driving around and around trying to find a place to park in their weird shaped lot, I decided to park inside the white picket fenced off area directly in front of the restaurant. We were escorted all the way to the back corner of the restaurant which seems as though it's on a patio? I decided to try the spinach manicotti that had 3 different sauces (Alfredo, red, and pesto). After sending it back due to believing it had pork in the red sauce, I was informed that it did not. I absolutely loved this manicotti! It was so flavorful!!! The hubby got the chicken parmigiana and loved every bite. My oldest got the stuffed mushrooms and said they were good but she loved the free bread more lol. There's just something about that balsamic and oil with crushed peppers. My youngest got the Mac and cheese and I was disappointed that it looked just Kraft! How are you a high end Italian restaurant and serving Kraft macaroni and cheese?!

This is one of our favorite spots so we ordered my daughter's graduation celebration meal for pickup. I liked the ability to order online but wished I could have scheduled pickup ahead of time. I called to ask about scheduling ahead but was told just to order 45 minutes before I wanted it. Not the end of the world but inconvenient. The pickup was easy and the staff were friendly but when unpacking the food at home we noticed the meatballs that were supposed to come with one of the family meals were missing. The chicken that came with the fettuccine was tasty but smaller than I remembered. We ended up with a disappointingly small amount of meat for the dinner and I was a little embarrassed to serve it. We did get a ton of bread rolls which was nice but I wish I hadn't added on breadsticks. Also nothing was provided to serve with the bread. For what we paid it was kind of a bummer.

A delicious Italian experience. From the home made pasta sauces to the ambiance. Frugatti's is a great family dinner spot or even a romantic date night spot. They have plenty of options to pick for any kinda of eater including a few lighter options. But do you really go light when eating Italian food! Recommend Papa Pasta or Therea's Favorite Tortellini.

We went out Frugatti's for dinner. Overall, we were all satisfied with our meals. The portions sizes are big, big enough that two of us asked to share a pasta plate and when it came out it was still a pretty decent portion. The reason for my 4 stars and not 5 is due to the pasta sauces being greasy. Our server was nice and attentive. The restaurant is nice and clean. It does get busy around dinner time.

It was my first time at Frugatti's when we had our wedding reception in their wine cave. Everything we had was exceptional! Our guests raved about the chicken with mushroom sauce. Chicken was so tender and creamy. Their pasta was also good. We had both the penne with red sauce and carbonara with white sauce and both were so flavorful! The wine cave was perfect for the size of our party and the best part of all of it was the service. The staff took really good care of us and helped us to the slicing of the cake to the packing of all our excess food. Highly recommended and will go back here for a memorable date with my husband!

We have been wanting to try the new Frugatti's for some time now. Everyone we talked too had nice things to say. It was New Years Eve and a perfect opportunity to give it a try for lunch. While I knew where it was, getting into the place is tricky. You take a side street off of Brimhall. There is lots of parking. It was around 12:30. We were seated right away. Our server took our drink order and brought us some very tasty bread. There are ample supplies of balsamic and oil for dipping. A few friends had mentioned it was noisy, but we did not find that at lunchtime. Our server brought our food; a Frugatti's Baked special to split, a house salad, and a cup of clam chowder. I enjoyed the chowder, while my wife enjoyed the house salad. The portions are good-sized. The chowder was tasty with some nice potatoes pieces. The sandwich was a nice combo of meats and cheeses on their delicious bread. It's a comfortable place to enjoy a mall. The decor is cool with lots of photographs. An the place is quite large. I'm sure it's as great place to host a party. If you haven't tried the new Frugatti's, you need to give it a try.

I really enjoyed this place on my quick visit ti Bakersfield. I think the ambiance is so cute with the decor. I love the vespas and the patio is super cute with the trees and the little lights. Great atmosphere. Servers were good, a bit on the slower side but that's okay. The real star was the food. Great portions and really tasty. I got the Spinach Manicotti and it was extraordinary. I had to take the rest home. I finished about half. Really tasty. Tiramisu was good too. Really worth the money in terms of quantity. Would come back for sure.

What a gem, me and the wifey made last minute reservations and no regrets. Probably one of the best rigatoni dishes I've had. The place was a bit loud, but it's due to its size and the amount of people. But the food makes you forget it all.

Love the new location, large with plenty of seating. The back area is a little more laid back with a patio feel but it's enclose so outside weather didn't hinder the experience. Great service, staff was friendly and food came out in good time. I enjoyed the spinach and artichoke pizza, great for a larger group. The sampler was also good, the chicken thing poppers are addicting. My go to has always been the eggplant Parmesan, even at the old location and it did not disappoint. Comes with soup or salad, mash potatoes or pasta plate. Staff sang happy birthday to me and I enjoyed a slice of carrot cake. If you're visiting or haven't been to the new location, I recommend it!

The food was top notch. The atmosphere was great, and our server was very good. She was on the run since my husband had like 6 passion fruit ice teas too. Since took part of the meal home we splurged with pumpkin cheesecake

I gave a five star review of the take out of the braciola taste and meat was very good but I found bits of plastic in my meal which was quite disappointing for such a class restaurant

Great place. Food is always amazing except for today. I found a piece of metal in my pasta, it looked like it was from a grill cleaning brush. The manager came out to our table and gave us my meal free. I expected a lil more, like maybe a free dessert as well. ‍ They acted like it was no big deal. I was a little surprised.

ate frugatti's w my family for my eldest brother's celebratory break up dinner. it was a special occasion & since i had a great experience the one other time i'd been there, i knew it was the right choice. our party of 7 was seated quickly & received friendly service. everyone enjoyed their generously portioned fettuccini alfredos & our kids loved the "cheese bread" appetizer. i, unfortunately, got too full off the bread & butter to enjoy my fully inhale my meal but the mashed potatoes were amazing! loved the new location. we would eat here again. reasonable prices & enough food to count as 2 meals.

The first time we went service wasn't good. And the food wasn't good. I didn't even take my leftovers. Boycotted it for almost 2 years. We decided to go on a Sunday night. Walked in got seated pretty quickly. It wasn't crazy loud even though we were next to the kitchen. Ordered our food. Food was delicious! Afterwards, I was super gassy. The next day it gave me the . I had to stay on the the whole day. Sooooo. Needless to say, most likely not going back ever.

I really wanted it to be great but the food was poor quality. Came here yesterday for my birthday and I was very excited to introduce my boyfriend to this Bakersfield restaurant. Quickly we were met with disappointment. My garlic chicken fettuccini was not appetizing. It just felt sloppy. My boyfriend's stake was overwhelmed with garlic. Eating out is truly a privilege and to be met with disappointment is frustrating. Maybe it was a bad night but from my experience l, I would not come back again.

Always been a huge fan of Frugattis. Been supporting them for 20 years. I always recommend them to other families and make sure people try them. I have had take out here over 50 times in the past 5 years and have been to the restaurants (both locations) another 50 times over the last 5 years. I have had company Christmas Parties and quarterly lunches over the years as well. I had a bad experience about 10 years ago, but the manager at the time apologized, offered to comp the meal (which I declined) followed up, and left gift cards for me in the safe to come back and let them try again. I was pleasantly surprised that they cared so much about my bad experience even though they were very popular and could have easily lost me as a customer and not really thought twice. Today I brought a client in around 2:30pm. We ordered and I got my usual. The classic lasagna. It came out and I noticed that it was not as piping hot as usual. The top was melted, but the inside was actually cool, there was cheese bits that were not melted throughout the lasagna, and it tasted like corn. I have no idea why it tasted like corn, but it did. The waitress could see that I didn't eat very much of it, so she asked and I asked if it had corn or was made differently, she said nothing has changed. Then she walked away. The waitress's changed and that waitress asked me if I wanted to keep it and take it home, I told her that I have had this dish 100 times in my life and it never tasted like this. I got a bad taste in my mouth, not just from the food, but also the service. The waitress asked me if I wanted to "complain" to the chef and if I wanted her to show my plate to him. 1st. I don't want to insult the shelf and make him upset, and 2nd who cares, if I complained that I didn't like it, and it tasted bad, that should be enough to simply say. "I am so sorry that the food didn't meet your expectations, would you like me to have the chef make you another dish? Also $6.99 for a soda out of the fountain, things are just getting high.

Always a good time here! The wait is always at least an hour... they don't do same day reservations but book ahead. The new place is large and comfortable. I have tried many dishes and they're all wonderful and freshly cooked. My favorite is the chicken with pinot Grigio mushroom sauce.
