The 38 Best Kuala Lumpur Restaurants | Eater

"This bakery serves a variety of pastries, but it is best known for its apple strudel. Based on a recipe said to have originated in Perth, Australia, the strudel comes out looking like a laminated hoagie with juicy chunks of apples and cream oozing out of a bun of flaky, caramelized puff pastry. Apple strudel RM30+ per box. It is good 👍🏻 the pastry skin has many thin layers and apple fillings are crunchy. It’s better to pre-purchase online and pick up at the store.

Rm30 Apple strudel looks good, but missing a buttery aroma on the pastry that im expecting. Cream can be better. Apple is just nice because not too sweet no soury.

Been coming here for many many years, but mostly to pick up the Apple strudel and cream horn which are my favorites. Every time I had to visit my Logistics partner in Port Klang, sure to pop by this place. They serve lunch too and is quite popular.....

Purposely came all the way from KL to try their apple strudel and cream roll. No waiting time. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Apple was crisp and not too sweet. Suitable for elders and kids. good try*v*

A big surprise coming here is discovering that aside from their popular takeaway strudel and other puff pastry confections, the lunch menu here was really popular among the locals around the area. There's almost always a long perpetual line of customers waiting to order and pay or coming in to pay for pre-ordered boxes of their famed strudels. We came by and ordered some of the more popular lunch time dishes and it was up to notch for what you would expect from a bakery and café of this nature. Which is very very good indeed. Before leaving the place, I just had to do what the Romans do when in Rome, that is to pick up a carton of the much spoken for apple strudel. Would I return? It would be an emphatic yes, since I have kin around the area. Also, drop by if it's only for their coffee and maybe a serving of their fruit strudel.

If you’re not here for the dessert, don’t be here at all. No, I seriously mean it. This is a microwave restaurant. I came here upon hearing that they resumed dine in services post-MCO, looking for the freshly cooked kitchen food to satisfy my cravings for affordable western. Lo and behold, I suspect that their kitchen doesn’t even have a stove and gas cylinder. Except for chicken chop, ALL THE FOOD WE ORDERED WAS MICROWAVED. All pasta and chicken lasagna was prepacked and cooked with a microwave, and all of them looked like GOATS VOMIT. For the chicken chop, they probably squashed a chick to get the thinnest slice of chicken chop ever made, and the flour and salt used was probably more than the chicken meat itself. In conclusion, they not only serve the best strudels in Klang, but also the best GOATS VOMIT and MICROWAVED MEALS. Never coming back.

Fruity has been around since I was small. The best apple strudel in town. Price RM30.30 if buy online n pick up at store. The pastry is good and cruchy outside, soft of the inside. The apple and custard go well with each other. As compared to Strudel Bakehouse i’d choose Fruity. They have other good desserts at affordable prices
