"Fruity, a Braintree store specializing in fruit-infused green teas, is expanding to Allston. It offers a variety of fruit teas and smoothies, such as sour mango, strawberry lemon, grapefruit, and watermelon. There are options with sea salt milk caps and beverages made with Yakult, a Japanese yogurt drink. The Braintree location is inside South Shore Plaza mall, and the new Allston location opened on April 12, 2019." - Dana Hatic

Google
I have always been a regular from this location since they opened. During my last visit I was informed that my drink could not be made without ice, but every other time my drink is made without ice and it’s never an issue. They rather lose the sale than make the customization that the guest is paying for. Extremely disappointing at this experience and needless to say that I won’t be returning as I always drove out of my way for the experience since I live over 40 min from the location

Google
Customer service was horrible and drink tasted bad. I went there for a taro milk tea cashier couldn’t even smile back worst attitude when handing back the change and giving me the drink not to mention the drink was grainy and was not appealing I remember now why I haven’t gone here in years

Google
Tried the mango slushy with mango jelly and mango poppers and the house milk tea with boba- delicious! I think this place makes better tasting teas than Kung Fu Tea downstairs. The only thing that Kung Fu Tea does better is that there’s an app so you can order ahead of time and you can select the sugar levels.

Loved this place a long time ago! Just noticed that now they sell hotdogs too. I love Kani dog and cheezy dog!

Google
I ordered watermelon mango fruit iced tea and mango yakult, the former tasted strange because of mixture of watermelon and jasmine green tea, I think! But the mango yakult is good! Both of them is made of fresh fruits! And the staff helped me adjust the suger rate for drinks! Quite good service !

Google
I'll dream about this tea, it's so delicious! I'm sad that I'll have to come all the way to Braintree mall to get it but whenever I do come, I'll definitely get something from this place again!

Google
Years ago the place made some decent fruit teas. I don't know if it's because it was made by the older lady but if you get your drinks made by the kids it's God awful. My friend ordered a drink it was so sweet you might as well drink sugar. My drink lacked flavor and tasted closer to water than a strawberry lemon tea. Months back I ordered a Macha drink and they heavy handed the powder. It tore up my stomach for a while and I had to throw the drink away. You're better off buying an Arizona from the corner store, tastes better and is cheaper.

I ordered a hot milk tea when there were no other customers around, but I received an iced one instead. The service was quite poor, and the staff didn't offer to remake it but rather impatiently asked for a refund. Interestingly, they claimed to be ABC but seemed to have trouble understanding English.

Yelp
The best place for bubble tea! Staff are always nice and the drinks I've tried are great! I come to the area solely for Fruity all the time and it's worth it.

Yelp
Fruity has really yummy drinks at a good price! Located in the South Shore Plaza, Fruity has lots of fruit teas and fruit smoothies available. They also have milk teas too. I like their specialty fruit teas that come with jellies and popping bobas! They're cheaper than other bubble tea locations for what you get considering there are usually two toppings. The drinks are generally really refreshing, but I always ask for less sugar now. I find that the regular sweetness for their fruit teas is overwhelmingly sweet personally, but my friends seem to like it. They also don't overpack their drinks with ice which is something I appreciate. My favorites are their Mango Fever and Sunny Peach Specialty drinks! I highly recommend these two drinks if you decide to stop by here.

Yelp
The food is NASTY YALL. They put the sugar like medical bill is FREE. The service was so so. But the store is lowkey dirty.

Diana N.

Yelp
Every time I come back I get a different drink ! They're fresh and hits the spot every time! My favorites: Banana milk Watermelon fresh fruit tea And their mango yakult yogurt!

Thanh L.

Yelp
First time here, the place is small but cute. I got the house tea Berry drink. It had jasmin tea and the fruit inside could be tasted in every sip. It the same price at a bubble tea. Definitely, will be back to try other drinks

Al L.

Yelp
The tea drinks are perfectly made --not too sweet and not too bland. I live in California and while I was in the mall to do a return I came here to get something to drink healthier than caked out boba teas. My girlfriend and I each got passion dream and crunchy kiwi with lychee jelly and they were both awesome summer drinks!

Yelp
Love this Place! My go to is usually the refreshing mango, it is fresh mango & watermelon mashed up in a tea based drink. It is super refreshing & not artificial tasting. Everything in here is really fresh & good. My second go to is the black tea milk cap! Dont drink it with a straw is the key. Sweet & savory. The owner is always nice! Im here at least once a week. This is one of the few places that always have a watermelon drink even though it is out of season.

Peter P.

Yelp
Although pricey, their drinks are delicious and made from fresh fruit! If you order a signature tea drink, you can get it in a sippy cup. My favorite so far has to be the sour mango tea!

Ophelia L.

Yelp
Grabbed a quick drink at South Shore Plaza. I enjoy fruit teas. I asked for half sugar and it ends up with no taste. It'll taste better with regular sugar I guess.

Nolan S.

Yelp
It's very good especially the strawberry smoothies great staff clean environment and good vibes

Chris P.

Yelp
I got a banana bubble tea from here. It tasted fine but it had large ice chunks in it. I had to keep spitting them out in the trash. It was most definitely not a "fresh fruit" place. They do have fruit to add into the drinks but they're more for decoration than actual flavor or to make the drinks. I have had better bubble tea for less tbh.

Winni C.

Yelp
Based off of their refreshing mango tea drink alone, this place is a solid 3.5 but I'll round up for Yelps sake. The drink is a mix of watermelon and mango, which is super refreshing for a hotter day. You know it's real too because you see and taste the fruit bits. A large comes in a pretty sturdy plastic long cup and is $5.75. I added rainbow jelly which was a little harder than usual but still not bad (additional 55 cents). Knocked off a star for the price and the amount you get for it.

Yelp
I'm not sure how long this place has been opened, but I came across this new tea place yesterday at south shore plaza. It's located where the old teavana used to be. The simple decor and interesting menu drew me in. I tried the black tea milk cap and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The sea salt milk cap had a slightly salty but overall sweet flavor. When sipped with the tea, the combination of the milk cap blended in with the tea and gave the tea a creamy sweet flavor. There is a hole in the cap big enough for a straw, but trust me, don't use a straw! Drink through the hole in the cap to get the perfect mixture of milk cap to tea in each sip. I enjoyed my tea so much I went back today for another cup, in a large! Four and a half stars because the service is great but it takes a little while for the drinks. Just be prepared to wait a little. However, they do use fresh ingredients so each drink does take a little more time to prepare. In my opinion, the wait is worth it.

Yelp
Their new signature drink Red Dragon (Dragon fruit and orange slices) is really good! I would highly recommend it with lychee jelly. Soooo good and refreshing. I generally dont like fruit teas since they usually tend to be on the sweeter side, but this tea has just the right amount and not overly sweet. Service was good and quick. My only 1 star knock off this place is that I wish they would use more fruit in it.

Melanie W.

Yelp
Awful... the fruit tea... no tea taste at all, it just orange juice with fruit added with 1 piece of orange, 1 piece of apple, and 1 piece of grapefruit... no fruit taste no tea taste. Just orange juice... what's the point of fruit tea.

Kelly L.

Yelp
First time here and it was okay. I got a Thai milk tea and it was super sweet. All I tasted was condensed milk, it didn't taste like Thai tea at all. Second drink was a watermelon tea, that was a good drink. It was refreshing and a great combo! Although the drinks are pricey. Maybe I'll try here another time and get a different drink but nothing special about this place.

Yelp
Fruity is a new-ish fruit tea/bubble tea/smoothie place in the South Shore Plaza, taking the place of the Teavana on the second floor. The interior is lovely, spacious, and clean. Service was very friendly and fast. The fruit-infused teas were all great. They seem to all use a jasmine tea base, which goes well with the fruit. I like the lime melon fruit tea -- it's really refreshing and not too sweet. The strawberry lemon is also really good! My boyfriend likes the mango-based teas. I return every time I'm at the South Shore Plaza.

Alan W.

Yelp
Fruity has exceptional drinks based on the two drinks I ordered. I got the Grapefruit Limon and my GF got the House Fruit Tea. Both were very refreshing and the perfect amount of sweetness. Also love that the drinks comes with fruit slices. The only downside is that the drinks are pretty expensive. Would definitely come again though!

Jeffrey L.

Yelp
This is all the craze in Asia and it's finally here in the US. Located in the South Shore mall it's a nice change from the typical bubble tea shops around. All the fruits are blended fresh and not too sugary. Really refreshing and tasty. Since they do it fresh as you order it takes a little long but worth the wait. Their cups are a lot better quality too, the lids help filter out pulp.

Lyly T.

Yelp
really cute place in ssp! the jasmine milk tea with mango jelly is my go to! soooooo good!

Janny Y.

Yelp
The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is because of the lady's unenthusiastic service. It's my first time here. I like the decorations and the two drinks I ordered were pretty tasty, but not once I was given a smile or a response after I said thank you multiple times. My watermelon shake was well blended with the right amount of ice without cutting the flavor or sweetness of the watermelon. My green apple green tea wasn't overly sweet or too syrupy and I can actually taste tea and the little jellies were pretty yummy. I could have easily gone down stairs to Kung Fu Tea where I can earn rewards for my purchases but I thought to try some place new and I do love that they use real fruits for their drinks. I've only tried two drinks out of the many they offered and they were great. But, it would definitely be better if they also offered some type of rewards since their prices isn't that different from their competitors.

Yelp
I usually get the yellow combo and watermelon slush. They're pretty good and the juices there are healthy and delicious. I've gotten the smoothie a couple times, but I hate how they add ice cream to it, it ruins the purpose of a smoothie and is unhealthy, making it taste too sweet. The cashier once touched money with her bare hands and proceeded to touch the customer's cup and helped make the drinks without washing her hands and using gloves, so I didn't enjoy. Besides that great company and owner. Good energy and refreshing drinks.

Jeffrey L.

Yelp
I come here specifically for their Jasmine Milk Cap, which I think is the best I've had compared to other tea places that serve similar drinks. They have a bunch of other drinks that I want to try, but I'm so into the jasmine milk cap I just end up getting the same thing every time I go. The staff is very friendly and always giving me samples of new teas they are creating. I would definitely recommend this place.

Kiko W.

Yelp
SO REFRESHING MANGO TEA. Fruity makes the best fruit drinks, it's so refreshing and delicious. I order their drinks every time I go shopping there. Their employees are very nice and helpful. This place is highly recommended!

Paul C.

Yelp
This tea store replaces Teavana in the South Shore Plaza. All I can say is Thank you. A lot better than Kung Foo Tea just below them on the main level. You can get a real fruit flavored tea with REAL fruit. I personally enjoy the Orange tea with slices of orange in it. Changed my choice to pineapple the other day and was not disappointed. It's nice to have choice for tea where it is not just the jellies or bubbles or milk tea, whatever that is. Thank you awesome place. Clean, friendly and quick service.

Tina W.

Yelp
Taro milk tea is the best I've had and I've tried them all, all over Boston and tea chains. Taste so real and sort of roasty. The strawberry mango tea is good too. Not too sweet and they mash fresh fruit in it. Kinda pricey for what it is but worth it.

SelvaGiri V.

Yelp
I have ordered a coconut smoothie. It was not a coconut smoothie, but a crushed ice smoothie. :) . I'm not sure whether they have filled it with ice for me or they have designed the smoothie itself in the way. Either way it was really bad

Karthik P.

Yelp
The guy who served the strawberry Fruity tea is super rude and the tea is pretty awful. He just made the tea from not fresh fruits.

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Best milk tea/boba/fruit smoothie place ever!!! They use real fruit and real tea. The fusion creations are oh my goodnesssss!!! I'm usually afraid to try mixed drinks with tea and fruit because then I get sad that it's not as good as just a tea drink but this place doesn't disappoint! Even my mom loves it and she's super into real tea. So you know it's good! I love their milk cap! It's not too sweet or too salty and I honestly ask to put it on every drink I get! The mango smoothie with milk cap tastes like a mango creamsicle!!! And the refreshing mango which has mango and watermelon in it is to die for. Their jasmine milk cap is one of my go to drinks when I want a sole tea drink. My mom loves the oolong milk cap which I've also tried and is very very good. LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Gi G.

Yelp
I was sold this place makes the best fruit teas until I saw them make it. The disappointment. I ordered the mango tea. They added a bit of mango and the rest was sugar syrup and mango syrup and the kicker is if you order it without ice they will fill it only 3/4 the way up. Way to loose a customer. It's not like tea is expensive. Just fill the darn thing up.

Gina P.

Yelp
This tea was so gross I had to throw it out. Waste of money. The tea was faaar too sweet and the add ons were gross.
