Fruteria Tropical

All the snacks here are really good but their to go deliveries are awful. They poorly package drinks so they end up spilling everywhere, they never provide napkins/cutlery and they don't follow requests. It's a pity because their offerings are tasty, but the attention to detail is missing.

Neat place, tried an agua fresca limonada de fresa. The drink tasted like juice from concentrate, which there's nothing wrong with this but it's not what one would expect when ordering an agua fresca. It's a bit disappointing that a frutería wouldn't top an agua fresca with fresh fruit.

Clean, friendly, tasty! Carlos is amazing. Elote was great. Try the Aguas Frescas.

I order a Sandillaso and some of the fruit either the watermelon or the orange melon was spoiled because something just tasted and smelled like it had already gone bad. What a waste of 30 dollars .

The corn, strawberries, nachos were amazing! But the service was even better!

The fresas con crema are very good. I also got a mango smoothie. Plus fruit cups, they have all different variety of foods and candies con chile for all tastes . Gonna go buy me some .They do speak Spanish Excelente service. I went twice already and will continue going for them especially now that summer is coming and needs something cold and refreshing

Even though the place is small, it's just a great atmosphere and great selections of things to choose from. My personal favorites are the fresas con crema, flan, any of the liquados, and the elote. They also gave me a gelatina today with my order, which was delicious, I think it was the caramel one, I would recomend if you love gelatin

Very friendly and delicious snacks! I literally got In the car and killed these elotes... I’m tempted to say they are better than Fuel City!! I’m surprised too!!!They were damn good. They had a really creamy and unique flavor. The lime just set it over the top. I’m a fan, and I’ll be back.

Food is great But needs better customer service , they are a bit rude especially if you are a woman . I guess the women here only treat the men respectfully if you know what I mean

Most ripest fruits!! First time here and I got a mangonada and it was sooo perfect!!! The price for it at $6 was well worth it!!! They even have complimentary candy. They were so nice but ofcourse mainly spanish speaking only. Downfall is that they only take cash, luckily I had $10 on me otherwise I would have gotten more. Will be back to try more.

Esta estrella mas que por la calidad de sus productos es por el abuso reciente en los precios, era de mis lugares favoritos, y aunque se entiende q la materia prima ha subido de precio, la nueva administración se ha tomado incluso la libertad de cobrar un segundo impuesto hasta por el uso del dispositivo q tienen para tomar las órdenes, solía ser un lugar más concurrido, pero la ultima vez q fui incluso en domingo ya no hay la línea de antes y estoy segura q es por eso. No deseo apoyar más este negocio, encuentro lo mismo al lado de Fiesta y muy cerca, incluso en la Abejita.

I ordered the Frescas con crema and it was really good! It's strawberries, yogurt, and whip cream on top. My bf had the mangonada and he thought it was okay. We will most likely come back when we crave some.

Fruteria Tropical is AMAZING!!! This shop is very clean and smells delicious and fresh as soon as you walk in! This is shop offers a variety of different tropical drinks and treats! I had stopped by for the first time and ordered the Tropicola and I can guarantee you that I was not disappointed!!! The tropicola was a pineapple FILLED with a variety of fruits and topped with chamoy and tajin!! The flavor was incredible and so delicious. Also have tried the mangonada which was also so great! Such a great spot in East Plano!

Great place to stop for a mid day snack! Their strawberries and cream is a must have. Their elote is another good one. Those two are our usual go-to's. My last time there I tried the cucumber and jicama mixed with peanuts. I know it sounds weird but it's so good! I love that this place falls on my drive home from work. Service is always friendly and super fast.

Stumbled upon this place one night when I was craving a mangonada. I was thrilled when I got it and found out it was made with fresh mangos. So delicious and friendly service.

They get 5 stars for creativity - and for being extremely nice with great service. They have unique creations - and will cater to specific requests. The mango is heavenly here and the mangonadas are amazing

While we were there we also tried the cantarito and flan! Everything tasted amazing! We'll definitely be coming back for more! Great flavors and great prices.

This place is an entire vibe. Walked in and felt like I had be transported to a Miami party on the beach. The music was jumping and it smelt so good. These drinks were refreshing and taste great.

My family and I we're craving a good mangonado. After searching around we found a really good one. It had a nice flavor, not too sweet but just right. It also had some chunks of mango that made it even better. This will be for sure our go to place for a great tasting Mangonada.

Came here while visiting Dallas and been dying to try a mangonada. There are multiple places to try it in this area, I just chose what was close and had a decent rating. I'm in love! It was delish! I wish I would have added more chamoy sauce, it went fast. I'm so sad I can't find similar places out in DC. Would love to get more of these. Friendly staff, located in a strip mall area.

This place always hits the spot! I like to try something new every time ! All been good! My kid like the fresas con crema... gets it every time and she's super picky! Only thing to change is an actual seating area... may eat more if they had a place to sit!

All I can say is...mangonada is the best here! Husband and I decided to drop by tonight, and he was extremely happy with their drink. Definitely coming back to try other stuff!

Came here today based other Yelp reviews, and was pleasantly surprised, this is located in a small strip mall, next to other wonderful places, I felt like a kid in a candy store, just so many options, but for me the visit was about getting a real juice! So when I look at the menu, there are some juice options, small but ok for me, options are Cucumber, carrot, orange, celery, beets, very basic, and they make all kinds of smoothies, the attendant asked what kind I wanted, oor if I wanted it mixed with all the ingredients, I said yes and large about 16 to 20 ounce cup, as he went to the back of the room I wondered, maybe it's already made juice or something worst? But then I heard music to my ears, he was using a juicer o could hear, ah yes, that made me feel better. The juice waa delicious and VERY AFFORDABLE other places would have charged an arm and a leg for juice. They have all kinds of fruit concoctions, so if you want to spice it up, they will create it for you. Definately coming back here!

I LOVE Mexican snacks. Everything on their menu looked so good! I ordered the mangonada, agua mineral preparada and the pepinos locos. The mangonada (frozen mango) was extremely sweet for my taste after one sip I threw it out. The agua mineral preparada was PERFECT! Tangy with just a hint of something sweet and sour! The pepinos locos were delicious as well!

I love it here! My coworkers and I come here once every other week since we work right around the corner. Love their Dorilocos!

The mangonada didn't have enough mango in it. And they don't have an option for pickles?!?! The chamoy ratio was on point and the price was right. It'll do for a hot Texas summer day for sure. Okace was clean and srvice was friendly and fast.

We are so disappointed with this place. We used to like it but haven't been back since we moved further. When we got there today, no one was out there at the front, the employees were laughing out loud in the kitchen. We finally got the attention and was ordering the food, they turned on the music and turned it to super loud, we had to speak so loud to make the order, and they switched to another cashier after we made the order, so we need to scream again. The employees were dancing the whole time. I am glad that they are happy, but our food don't taste nowhere close to what we had before. my elote was so watery in the bottom and doesn't taste fresh, and the arroz con leche tasted like it went bad.

Came to see what the hype was about and was a little disappointed, I had an elote that was very runny (and not in a good way) and it just tasted off, also ordered an agua Fresca (pineapple) and also didn't like it because it was very pulpy!! Really wanna go back and give it another try, maybe order something else as I do love this kind of places.

Very busy place but it's worth the wait. There's is so many good things but I couldn't buy it all, I tried the hulk and I thought I wouldn't like it but it's so good. I would recommend this place to my friends, I wish it was closer to home, I would buy treats almost every weekend. They are so creative with the drinks I wanna taste them all. Most Fruteria have like basic drinks and generic stuff. They have different drinks with chamoy not just mangonada.

Very good first time there the mango smoothie was very sweet the Mexican corn was the bomb

I've only ever ordered delivery via Yelp but I have to say that the experience has been amazing. This place does really generous servings and the taste is always off the charts good. Their mangonada is my favorite along with the elites. If you haven't tried it you are missing out. And the delivery times, short short short!

Best mangonada and fregonada in the area! Don't be fooled by other fruterias that use a margarita machine as their frozen mango drink! They make it fresh from the blender with fresh ingredients!! I normally get the fregonada because I like less mango in it. There is usually only one guy working when I go there in the afternoon, so it generally takes a few minutes if you're ordering more than one drink. It's so worth it but make sure you're not in a hurry! I haven't gotten anything else but I will soon. It's a hidden gem in Far East Plano. Great price too and big size!!

This place is awesome and has a wide variety of things to choose from. I found this little "Mexican" shop on Yelp and decided to check it out. It was probably one of the best decisions ever made. The staff is always friendly, it's always a young girl with glasses. She's super sweet and always greets you with such an awesome attitude. Their items are GREAT. I always get the cantarito and the duro or elotes. Definitely a place to check out!

I haven't been able to find a place that truly knows what Fregonada is. This place is amazing! Friendly, fast, fresh and delicious. We are definitely addicted and will be back!

This place is great! I ordered 2 licuados, fresas con crema, and a mangonada for myself and the kiddos. The service was quick. The fruit is fresh and it's moderately priced.

Love this place! Authentic, tastes great and customer service is always amazing. The smoothies are sooo good, definitely made with real fruits. They decorated the inside with cute Halloween decorations, wish I snapped a pic! Love that this is so close to home, too. I went and got a large mango smoothie and it was made perfectly. The man behind the counter was very polite and offered to turn the smoke machine on (apart of the decorations) when I took a video of my smoothie which I thought was very sweet. Great quality and great prices. I would definitely recommend!

I'm addicted to mangonadas so when I was craving one the other day I decided to try this place out. In comparison to other mangonadas I've had I could tell that this one was more authentic. The amount of tajin and chamoy in there was perfect. Really good flavor. However, it was a little more icy in consistency compared to what I am used to. It wasn't creamy enough for my taste, but I know that technically that is the authentic way to make it. The place was pretty busy, even though I went there later at night on a weekday. If you like Mexican drinks and snacks this is a good place to checkout!

This place is fantastic!! I moved to Plano a little over a year ago and I've been making the occasional long drive to south dallas to get good Mexican treats but this place definitely hit the spot! I went with my mom, who is from Mexico, and she said it couldn't get more authentic! The young lady that greeted and rang us up was super friendly and sweet! I'll definitely be making this a regular spot!

I love, love, love this place! The fruit is all really fresh. I cant rave enough about the menu. I love ordering their pomegranate cups - ask them to make it spicy! They season it with lemon, lime, tajin, chemoy and tamarind. Service is wonderful. I also love their fresh juices

I had been craving a mangonada after having tasted it in Houston. I finally found this place in the metroplex and was not disappointed. Definitely worth it!

Had the bionica. Delicious. My only regret is that my stomach can only hold so much food... But there's always tomorrow.

Place is wonderful!! Highly recommend the Mangonada, it's sweet, spicy and refreshing. We also got the cucumber with nuts and it was AWSOME! Great flavor profile. Highly recommend making the drive. I was introduced to this place by my friend. I ordered the Rusa, and I am addicted! SO good. Words cannot describe! I have more drinks to try. The place is very clean overall and the staff is very friendly.

The elote is good but it's not as good as fuel city's elote. When I walk in the lady was talking to me in Spanish and I talked back to her in Spanish. I told her in Spanish I wanted a small elote with everything. They forgot to put hot sauce in the elote or maybe you are supposed to put it in yourself. The elote was still good.

We like to eat the chicharron duro ("durito "as we call it ) with mashed pinto beans in Monterrey so that was missing also I was feeling like eating a warm elote but not what I expected besides that the fruit was really good it's my second time buying here. And will try more stuff in the future
