Fry Daddys

We drove an hour excited to try Fry Daddy's. The food looked, smelled, and tasted great initially. However, our entire family got severe food poisoning that lasted a week. Don't be fooled by the good taste! Also, beware their website automatically adds a tip without your knowledge. I recommend ordering by phone. Our experience was extremely upsetting. I really wish it didn’t have to get us sick. Very disappointing.

First time visitor, but will DEFINITELY be returning. Owner was an awesome, humble man, who takes pride in his food, and encourages feedback from patrons. Food was fried to order. I enjoyed lightly battered tenders, with seasoned crinkle cut fries, and a Dr Pepper. Homemade Ranch was amazing, and chicken actually tasted like fresh, not frozen chicken. Nothing was under heat lamps, and it was generously flavored. I had the OG and the Lemon Drop. Tenders were HUMONGOUS, a 3pc would've been more than enough, but I got 6, to be able to get the 2 flavors. Employees were professional, polite, and very helpful. Kudos to the staff!

I love coming here and I wasn’t expecting to have many option in the menu. The food was really good and so fresh! I really enjoyed the wings a lot! It was crunchy and delicious! The fries has a delicious seasoning. The catfish and shrimp was soo good. I would highly recommend!

Excellent chicken sandwich! The fries were great too! Really hit the spot. I had been looking forward to going and was finally on that side of town and was not disappointed at all, in fact, I was impressed by the taste and size of that sandwich. And it has many modifications to choose from to personalize it the way you like.

I asked for a 6 piece wings and they didn’t give me no flats just drums! Wings are made with a flat and drum! I won’t ever go back I spent $10 I asked for honey bbq and I got spicy bbq! I will never go back ever!!!

I drive monthly to Forney from Frisco and I just so happened to stop here on the way home. Best cheat day ever. The service was great and the food was amazing. A mistake was made more so on a customer behalf and the cashier went above and beyond to correct the mistake. I had the opportunity to try different flavored wings because of this mistake and will be definitely taking a field trip again to try something else. I had the fish and DTX 6 piece. The food was hot and crispy. Even after warming it up, the crisp to both the fish and chicken were still there. My only complaint I have is that the wings were so flavorful and dripped in sauce, I messed my car and scrubs up trying to eat and drive. Which really isn’t a complaint yet a compliment. Just use caution when eating those wings, I needed a bib. Reply: No need to change anything whatsoever. It was meant all in a positive light, I promise. That mess was all on me. Literally hahaha. Halal food!!! best smack burger halal halal halal!! gracious dish sizes! beef steak was a little bit over cooked but had amazing tastes please keep meat halal and lot more people will come! i’ll be recommending this to everyone. Tuckers at exit 7 got a challenger!

This was my first time, but my son's prefer Fry Daddy's wings. They were okay, I wasn't too impressed with the flavor profile. The wings and fries were properly cooked. They prepared my order wrong and we're kind enough to remake our order correctly. That was greatly appreciated! We received great customer service and their prices are reasonable. I personally won't be returning, but I'm sure they'll remain busy.

That lemon pepper was hittin!!!! But seriously though, y'all need to check this place out. The food was incredible. I ordered the 6pc chicken tenders tossed in lemon pepper. It came with fries and 2 ranches. The lemon pepper flavor was great, but I felt like I needed a bit more. I went up to the front counter and asked the owner if I could get some extra seasoning. He politely obliged and turned my chicken strips into absolute perfection!!! The ranch is obviously homemade, which is a big deal to myself and many others. It was incredible. The fries were perfectly cooked and they had just the right amount of seasoning. I highly recommend giving this place a shot!!! The inside is super clean and there's plenty of room to sit.

Local halal spot with wings and tenders but also catfish and a pretty decent smash burger. Definitely order online because they get busy.

We ordered 24 pc boneless wings + the combo (2 drinks + large fries) + an added cheese sauce and spent about 36$ for a ton of food. Decent value. It was a ton of food because the wings were MASSIVE. They were honestly a-little-too-large chunks of chicken breast that got overwhelming after having a few. The ATL sauce was very good for those who like buffalo along with some extra seasoning. The finger licking honey garlic sauce was quite honestly really underwhelming, there was a ton of honey at the bottom of the container but very little flavor in the chicken/the breading itself. Texas BBQ had good flavor but was a little overwhelming as well in sauciness. Service was poor, we waited 40 minutes for the food with few orders happening before ours. We also did not receive our ranch dressings nor napkins/utensils nor our drinks when we were finally called. The ranch dressings were being poured from a massive jug into little sauce cups that were sitting out in the open right next to the line + pickup counter. It seemed VERY unsanitary. Many people waited for their food right next to this table of open ranch dressings and it was off-putting. When I went to retrieve our missing ranch from this table, an employee chastised me for grabbing from the table. There was no clarity about what this table was for or why it was out in the open. Another ambiance/service note was that the employees seemed to be on-edge and arguing. The one that chastised me was being frequently criticized for mistakes (like forgetting items in our bag) and at one point she loudly proclaimed she was "done taking orders" before beginning to clean up the store about 30 minutes before it was closed. The fries and cheese sauce were alright.

Super clean, excellent menu, smaller parking lot but they still had spaces. Diverse customers. The food came out fast, the portions were huge. 5 stars all day. The Cajun Catdaddy Sandwich was amazing . Highly recommend. Plenty of seating. Great for kids. They can adapt/change the orders. The wings looked amazing.

A great place to get some flavorful food! The inside of the restaurant isn't very spacious but can hold a small party of around 8-10 if needed. The food however is great!! I highly recommend getting one or the 3 versions of the loaded fries that they offer depending on your taste alongside their sandwiches. The service is nice and gets the food out at a decent pace!

Place is always spot on. Love it. Chicken wings are huge and saucy. The fried shrimp are awesome as well.

Some very good wings, if you get the chance, please try it. I tried the Asian flavored wings, the dabber ranch and one other flavor, but they were all pretty good. I also tried the fries that were good and the service was really good as well.

Food was amazing. Definitely recommend ordering ahead. Large portion wings. Staff is nice. Asked for the catfish extra crispy and they came through. Love this place

Went to try them out today. I will give them 3stars. Fish was fried golden - brown well seasoned. Only thing is it was extremely greasy. French fries were fresh and hot I will give them a 8 . Now to the chicken , they were super big and very greasy.... I would definitely never order them again. Fish and fries was the best on the menu

Amazing experience. I took 6pc wings with the fingerlicking delicious flavor, it was worth it for the price. Loaded fries were flavorful and spicy for sure. Smack burger was just as nice. We were served within 10 minutes of ordering. Good place if you want to have a quick bite as it's a small place. Definitely recommended. Also it's halal now so 10/10.

Oh goodness, the food was soooo good and fresh! Service was great and the atmosphere wasn't what I would call family friendly but it was clean.

First time trying them and it was amazing!! I'm an extremely picky eater but I wanted to try one of their sauces. The fingerlicking sauce is amazing!!! Perfect amount of sweet to balance the flavor. Place was also super clean! Especially the bathroom, I was shocked how spotless it was. The lady taking my order was sweet and answered all my questions without any judgment. Definitely recommend stopping by!

I'm disappointed with the quality of the food and service. The wings are fried very well, but the flavors are lacking. The ATL flavor has an odd aftertaste. The Asian flavor is very under seasoned. The honey hot mama tastes like nickels (if that makes any sense) and it seems to only be seasoned with cayenne pepper. Maybe the overload of cayenne is what's causing the off flavor. Service wise, the wait was about an hour. It took me about 15-20 minutes to order because although the employee was standing right in my face, it took him about 5-6 mins, maybe longer to acknowledge me. When he did, he told me to move over to the kiosk and submit my order there. I declined because I'd never eaten there before and wanted some questions I had about the menu answered. I understand they're short staffed and I didn't mind waiting, but I would've appreciated more hospitality. I was hoping that at some point, he would take a pause to put our order in before continuing to bag several orders, have multiple people cut us in line to pay for their meals, etc. Some acknowledgement from the beginning that we were standing right there and would be taken care of soon would've gone a long way! I can get over the service but due to that in conjunction with the food? Can't say I'll be returning.

Ordered the bird sandwich and it wasn't the chicken looked a little bit old. Didn't want to chance getting sick from it and chose not to eat any of the sandwich at all. I've had good past experiences but my most recent visit was not good at all besides the fries and drink

This is my Friday go to chicken place. And I mean every Friday or maybe even Monday lol. The crunch on this chicken is so addictive. This is the most well battered crunchy crispy chicken. I think this maybe undercover Korean fried chicken. So satisfying. Even drenched in sauce it's still crunchy. Now the flavors are ok, mind you the flavors can be oily but I wouldn't change anything about it. I only get delivery and make sure I tip very well before I know the location is 20 minutes from my house on a good day. Since I only get delivery I'm not sure of the service or ambiance.

I wouldn't be recommending to my friends and definitely wouldn't come back. Too much breading on wings and tastes very greasy. Service was mediocre at best. Ambiance was calm.

My boyfriend just broke his fast with a meal from this place. He got Fish, Shrimp & Fries, and said it was 10/10!! He was literally drooling of how good it was! Also said the shrimp sauce was chefs kiss. He is so happy he found some good halal food not too far. Can't wait to try it for myself!

Friendly staff Minority-owned Went in around 3ish- perfect time because we got to eat before more people came in. She ordered the steak fries - they were good I had the Chicken sandwich and fry (I had sauce - the Asian flavored one) When I tell you that sandwich was GOODT. Yep. I'll be back for something else. A little on the mid-expensive side. The kool side was decent, but I wouldn't have to have it again. I would choose it over the soda, but I could just do a water. It was sweet, but I'm used to a different brand I guess. She went back and got the hot honey fries and she liked those too. Said it tasted like Chinese food.

It ain't fancy but it's really good food! Had the Philly cheesesteak and fried pickles. The pickles were well seasoned and beautifully crispy. They didn't really need the ranch that came with them but it was a nice addition. The cheese steak is the best I have found in DFW. Beats the cheesesteak house hands down. The seasoning is excellent! Much more flavor than the other guys. The bread has that perfect chew. Really well done. I will be back...many times! The only disappointment I had was the ketchup. Off brand...really? They do serve Coke products so that's a plus.

I'm glad I stopped here at this place. The hot chicken fries was everything I imagined and the seafood platter is just right. I will be stopping here again

I was pleasantly surprised.... This place is legit!! We went back twice in one week. Place was very clean and excellent customer service!! I'm a lifer!!

Ventured out to this spot to grab a little dinner as it's been bookmarked for months. Here's the verdict....DON'T WALK, DON'T SKIP, BUT RUN YO AZZ TO FRY DADDY'S for some good wangs & thangs!!! My gf and I tried a variety of wings (Finger Lickin', Asian heat and Dab of Ranch) ALL THREE FLAVORS AmaaaaaZING!!! Garlic parmesan shrimp, waffle fries, a side of fried rice and egg rolls. I have no complaints about anything we ordered. The crisp on the wings and shrimp was light and delicious. Everything was prepared to order which I absolutely loved. Plus the staff was really sweet and helpful. Can't wait to return for another quality meal.

The bird bird bird the bird is the word.... Ahoooooo. What song for 10 points? I had The Bird with Asian heat sauce and fries. The chicken is fried in the Korean fried chicken way, in my opinion. Super crispy! And I love crispy!! I will eventually try everything on the menu. So that means, I will be going back!

Amazing asian owned restaurant known for Philly cheesesteaks, chicken wings, and seafood. The Philly cheesesteak was greasy good and melted in your mouth. We got shrimp smothered in asian heat sauce, and Mac & cheese bites. All so good. I wanted to try everything on the menu and will be back. Seasoning, flavors, quality of the food all on point. My people always know what's up. They're only doing take out right now and you can place orders ahead.

Best wing spot in DFW! DTX is my favorite flavor. Must get every time. DAB of ranch is my second go to. You can order extra sauce on the side as well. The breading stays crisp even when the wings are no longer hot hot temperature wise. If you've ever had the struggle of the wings not having enough flavor, it's absolutely not an issue here. They're not shy with their flavors! I can eat these not reheated the same night too! Throw them in an air fryer and they're almost as good. I eat the wings with rice. They have different koolaid flavors as well. Super sweet but I dilute it with more ice and water. Customer service is solid as well. Be careful driving in and out of the parking lot. It's worth it though!

The wings are really bad. All breading and no meat. I was very disappointed as it is close to my work. Once and done!

I ordered the 'Honey Hot Mama' 6 piece wings with 2 piece catfish. They gave me three pieces with my two piece fish so that was an unexpected plus! I really enjoyed everything. The food came out faster than expected, the fish was seasoned well as we're the wings. The sauce on the wings had a nice sweetness with a nice kick to it. This place has so many options I'm going to (fortunately) have to return to try more. I highly suggest visiting.

I frequently drive past this place on the way to my boyfriends parents house and always want to stop by. Well tonight my boyfriend finally said let's stop by. The building space is small, but spacious. I don't believe it's open to eat in dining. We placed our order to go. Took maybe at most 15-20 min. We rushed the 5 minute drive to my boyfriends house and tear open the bag. The smell is fantastic!! As my mouth is drooling we dip into all that we ordered (Mac and cheese bites, bbq tenders, fries and fried shrimp). Mac and cheese bites - Taste was great, just wish they wouldn't add the Parmesan. It made the bites taste bitter. Marinara would have been a great add. BBQ tenders- big and juicy. Nice texture, and sauce flavor was on point. The chicken was bland needed that extra oomph Fried shrimp- small but overall a decent size for the price point. Breading was nice and held up well but flavor was missing. Fries- super over cooked. More like super thick cut chips and had no salt or seasoning as requested. Promptness-9 Presentation- 8 Quality- 8 Taste- 5 Flavor was lacking. It needed some type of seasoning. Overall I will give it another chance as I am interested to see if a second time might be the charm

We drove a good little distance to come and get this food. And luckily, it lived up to the hype! Did their loaded steak fries, with some hot wings and wow. At the time, they weren't doing dine in but we live to far away to wait. So we literally pulled into a park and ate in the car. If anyone was watching us, they know we devoured that food! They were not stingy with the sauce on the chicken or the steak fries. My only issue with the steak was some pieces were extremely chewy. But the meat/cheese/sauce/fry ratio was ON POINT. If I lived any closer to this place... It'd be a problem. We also paid for extra blue cheese and it wasn't until we parked that we realized they didn't give it to us. No biggie, wouldn't stop me from returning..

Live and learn. So, I finally decided to order from here after following them in IG for months. So, i placed my order via Doordash. My normal procedure when ordering from new places is to order several things so I can get a feel for the food. So, I ordered 24 wings and got them in lemon pepper, garlic parmesan and ranch. I also ordered a 3 piece catfish basket ( it did NOT come with fries) and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich ( also no fries). Now, the pictures of the food posted in IG make the food look absolutely scrumptious so I was anxious to try it. I sampled the Philly sandwich and it was ok. The meat was seasoned and I like that it came with bell peppers and onions. I just was expecting more. I next tried the catfish. It was fried to perfection. The only problem is that it needed some seasoning salt. Now to the wings. The first flavor, if you wanna call it that, was BLAND. I have no idea what flavor it was suppose to be. It had NO garlic parmesan, lemon or ranch flavor. I have a feeling they gave me the wrong order. The wings were crunchy but had no seasoning or flavor. The second flavor of wings was lemon, that was definite. The moment I put the wing in my mouth, I was overcome with lemon flavor and that was ok. What baffled me was that the wings were soggy. Huh? How is it the first flavor of wings I tried were nice and crunchy and these are soggy? The last flavor was suppose to ranch but they were reddish in color, so right off the bat I knew these could not be ranch. Anyway, I tried them and they had a nice flavor but clearly are BBQ and not ranch. It would be nice to get what I paid for. Well, my curiosity has been satisfied. Sadly, the beautiful pictures of the food definitely don't match the taste. I definitely will not be reordering. ETA: After reviewing my leftovers, I have determined that the bland wings were suppose to be garlic parmesan. I've never had wings more bland. I've had better at Pizza Hut. If you are suppose to be known for wings, then you need to make sure all the flavors you offer are on point and the garlic parmesan weren't, at all.

Food was sooo good! We did go when a situation was a little tense and it looks like the lady was a bit over the people, so this is a reminder to please be nice to the people taking your order. It's one lady & not many workers so they are trying their best . Food was amazing tho! I absolutely loved the fries and it also had options for kids and my son enjoyed it so much!

Best Bundt cake in the Dfw . The service was great they were quick, fast, and nice. I would highly recommend coming here if you want something good and fast! I also had the Philly cheesesteak which was a solid 8/10.

The place is small & looks relatively new. It was very clean. The food is made to order so call ahead or be patient. I had a sample of both fries. They were equally GOOD; but I prefer the savory over the sweet. Be mindful there is nothing healthy about either so don't get addicted- try with caution!

Presentation was amazing!!! The place is small and there weren't many seats so I would call it an eat In restaurant. The food was okay. The fish was fried well but the batter wasn't all the cooked so the fish seem under cooked. The philly steak's bread was supper soggy. Some of the fries were hot and some were cold. The wings were fried to perfection but the flavors weren't all the way there. Lemon drop was a 10/10!

I really like this place! The meat is not dry it's really juicy good, A lot of honey barbecue sauce but no complaints I really enjoyed it, The flavor with every bite yum! I also got the fries as well and delicious did not disappoint. Remember folks when you do get it, it's very hot and does remain hot/warm for a while which kinda impress me since fast food goes so cold quick. As well if you do try the chicken tenders they are huge. Definitely come and try this place not gonna be disappointed!

My first time at this establishment and the food was not to my liking. The wings were overcooked and not flavorful. The meal was overpriced. I will not return nor recommend.

Definitely do not recommend this place. It had 4 stars. Thought I'd give it a shot. Staff was very unfriendly. She acted as if I was a problem by coming in. Then it took an extremely long time to get my food. Their printer went down. So the staff argued with each other while my food sat in the window while they tried to fix it. Food was barely warm by the time I got home with it. Avoid this place. Unless you like greasy cold food and unfriendly staff.

The fried fish tastes awful. The burgers are pretty good The chicken wasn't great. It was my first and last time visiting this place.

My new favorite wing spot! THE WINGS ARE BOMB. The workers are so friendly and the place is so clean. The prices are fair for the quality of food you're getting. Everything is made to order so you know it's fresh. My go-to is the ATL/fingerlicking wing combo with waffle fries and an order of the pepper jack Mac n cheese bites. Yum. It's an order at the counter spot with some seating indoors to watch the game. They take cash, card, and Apple Pay/google pay, so you're all set. You can also order on grubhub! Would definitely recommend trying if you are in the area.

First timer and they forgot my tenders, only gave me my fries. I wouldn't go back, it was empty so for them to just forget that was beyond me
