Was here to dine in. The lady at the register was very nice. Ordered egg rolls, pineapple fried rice, tamarind soup, and coconut dessert. The food was delicious.I loved the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. We got there at the perfect timing shortly after ordering a handful of people came in for take out.

Google
The most basic food at a premium. For $17 I expected a good portion of chicken since there were no sides with the order but it was barely enough for one person. I was better off going to Panda Express. Would’ve paid $6 for the same thing I spent $17 here for

Google
Cook has good fire control n care about decoration. However, I regret the tamarind soup: squid taste metallic, only pineapple is good n sweet. The fry noodle is too hard to eat. Pretty much self serve, no water is provided. Everything has chicken.. Toilet is ok.

Dave Peyton

Google
Usual Dim Sum items, of good quality. However, don't expect a cart to roll by. You have to order with the cashier or by touch screen, McDonald's style.

For lunch, my family and I dined in at this place. We had informed the chef about my wife being severely allergic to shellfish before we placed our order. The chef understood and suggested us food items from menu that did not contain shellfish. The first appetizer that was ordered was a vegetable dumplings. As soon as we had a couple of bites my wife started displaying allergic reactions. We realized that they had given us chives and shrimp dumplings instead of the vegetable dumplings. Though we pointed this out to the chef, she was not willing to take responsibility of the mess up. We left immediately to get care and I dont think we'll return back.

Google
My family and I ate here many times and the food has been consistently fresh & delicious. Until, today, I ordered the whole crispy chicken! It was so dry from being under the heat lamp or microwaved too long! I ordered an hr before to give them time to prepare it. It was ready in 15 mins! So of course it wasn't fresh. What a waste of $17! I should have gone to one of those Chinese BBQ places, like Tai Pan instead! Regarding the picture. I cut up lots of 🐔 before and this isn't a whole 🐔. I just ate a thigh before I took the pic. Also, notice the skin. It has a shriveled appearance. That's how dry it is! I'll just cut it into smaller pieces and make 🐔 salad sandwiches!

The potatoes and beef are fantastic!!! I have not been disappointed with the food or service any of the times I have ordered from Fu Kee. Highly recommend!!!

Food was cold, especially the rice. The soup was hot, but had little flavor. The shrimp was somewhat soggy.

Yelp
I've never actually been there, so I don't know anything about parking or service. This is mainly for take-out orders. Because there's not much in our area for work, this is our go-to for lunch. The chicken and green beans is really good. Not really a fan of the sweet and sour soup the meal comes with, but so far all the main dishes I've had are great.

Yelp
Date: Thursday, June 12th, 2025 Time: around 4pm Meal: Early Bird Dinner / Late Lunch Takeaway *Wor Wonton Soup The bro in law was grabbing food on the way home and asked me if I wanted anything. He picked the spot, I just had to look at the menu. I hadn't had soup in a while, so decided to try the wonton soup. It had a good amount of meat and seafood and a few veggies - mushrooms, spinach. As expected, the wontons bloomed so the wrappers were very water logged and separated from the filing. That didn't really bother me as this always happens when I get wonton soup takeout. I just wish restos would separate the dumplings like most do with the noodles in noodle soup. Taste wise, I found this a little salty. Maybe due to a bit too much MSG? Don't get me wrong, I love MSG. I grew up with it. But sometimes, it can be a lil too much. I did try to balance it with a bunch of white pepper I had at home. Based solely on the wonton soup, I'd rate this in the middle. A-OK. Yelp
Was craving some sort of Chinese food and saw this place in a nearby plaza. Didn't know what to expect but figured they would have some variety. I ended up getting the Mongolian beef plate for dine in. Staff was nice and service was quick! The portion was filling and once I started eating I knew I'd want to come back to try more of their dishes.

Yelp
Always a solid spot for good food. The service is always friendly and the restaurant is clean. Got the family special which is enough for three adults. The kung pao chicken is perfectly spiced and the potato beef is my favorite. The prices have risen but still decent prices...

Yelp
Food tastes great. But don't order to go. I ordered a green bean chicken and it was 95% green beans and 5% chicken. Need to order in house and eat it there. If there is no complaint from a customer in house you get robbed
google avatar

Yelp
As a person who has been traveling this past week, this place was actually very good. The service was fast, and delicious. However, the Mongolian beef was a little different than what I used to, (texture wise) but that doesn't mean it was bad! They have outdoor and indoor seating, but it was perfect for me and my family to eat in. One thing I dislike was the crab puffs but other than that. Everything was great!

Yelp
Yummy dumplings all day. The dessert dumplings are fire. I like how they also have chinese food options and soups too.
google avatar

Ted D.

Yelp
The ginger cat fish was excellent. Fresh vegetables in a very light ginger sauce served with great egg drop and meat soup and rice. Their dim sum is also very good. Same owner as the Ginger Cafe
google avatar

Mr. P.

Yelp
Gotta try the Mandarin Crispy Tofu, it's the best. Sauce is delicious. I'd give them another start but they stopped serving Thai Iced Tea, bring it back and get 5 stars.

Yelp
The food was really good, the only complaint was the wait time was a little longer than I expected, the lady at the counter told me how long to wait which was well thought after. The restaurant itself is out of the way but still cozy with minimal decorations. Overall this place is a great go to if you're willing to spend a lil extra!

Mike D.

Yelp
This has been by far my favorite restaurant for at least 25 years however I will not be eating there any longer. Prices have unreasonably skyrocketed and servings have been reduced which I kinda get but I asked for a small side of sauce with my food, I was yelled at by the woman managing this store and refused this small request. This woman was an extremely rude person with an ugly attitude and even acknowledge that she knew I was a regular customer yet denied my request. I have brought Eddie Money, Christopher Cross, members of Toto, many other touring artists, friends, relatives, and immediate family but today is the last time I go in that place. That woman ruined my love for this place. She does NOT value long time supporters and I have principles. Until they got rid of her I'm done! 100%

Yelp
The food is excellent. It's always prepared well and packaged well. We have had great food every time we've been there

Yelp
The chicken tasted amazing and it was a lot of food. It was very clean and not busy during the time we went. Lots of food options and cashier was very friendly

Yelp
Good food, the onions maybe old, got a little stomach ache after eating a dish that had onions.

Yelp
Great quality, consistently good. Customer for over 20 yrs Been going to FuKee and the other location that used to be on Blossom Hill/Santa Teresa. Hands down, the best won ton soup in the Bay Area (I've had lots SF, Oakland) not loaded with fillers. Everything they make is yummy. They make great in house dim sum too!!!!

Tim P.

Yelp
Been going here for 25 plus years. Fresh cooked food . Clean quick. Staff is nice and friendly.

Monique C.

Yelp
My food wasTOO SPICY. I chose dishes that did not say they would be hot but they were so spicy! This is my third time that I got dishes that were too hot. You need to be more precise!

Yelp
Horrible service from older lady in front cashier probably won't come back.... Horrible,....................

Yelp
I used to love this place. The food was delicious and they had lots of vegetarian options. Visiting town, I was so excited to order delivery from them and enjoy that tasty tasty vegetarian food. Until I chomped into some chicken and realized they fed me real meat, not fake meat. I drove to the restaurant and verified: yep, that was real meat. In about 45 minutes I'm going to be very sick. The restaurant made me mandarin tofu to replace it, and to their credit they did apologize. But when I'm throwing up and cramping later, apologies are going to ring very hollow. I won't be back. Thanks a lot.

Yelp
We decided to try their food for brunch for the first time. Place : it needs some cleaning, floor is filthy and the inside is extremely warm. we had to find a shaded area outside to eat. It's located in a shopping complex w some establishments such as Ross, Lucky's, gym, nail salon post office, McDonalds, etc. Parking: lots of parking spaces FOOD: spicy chicken 4/5 fried rice 2/5 soup1/5 Chicken noodle soup: 2/5 it's quite bland, more of tap water taste (seriously). Im not gonna lie- I'm not coming back. I should've ordered Panda Express, at least I get a fortune cookie

Shaye M.

Yelp
The food is good but unfortunately the lady who owns the restaurant isn't a good person. She's mean to her employees and one time a fedex delivery driver came in and asked for ice (mid summer 99°) and she wanted to charge him. And it's unfortunate because the food is pretty good.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is actually decent. I order from them Thru door dash a lot. I usually get the steamed white rice and the Tofu in garlic sauce. I don't recommend asking for too much custom stuff as they may neglect this (e.g. garlics on the side). I've also dined in with my wife and Izzy (2 1/2 year old) a few times. I would recommend this to anybody.

Yelp
This is a cozy restaurant for small parties of up to four, unless you put tables together. The restaurant serves a special meal of large rice, choice of one of two appetizers, and choice of two main dishes out of many choices for $32. We ordered an additional egg roll appetizer, the egg rolls were crunchy, with lots of vegetables. We enjoyed both main dishes, with food to spare for another future meal. We plan to come again with more friends. This is a sister restaurant to my favorite, Ginger Cafe, in Gilroy. They have a Ginger Cafe in Sunnyvale, and also two more locations.

Yelp
Solid good Chinese food. I had no issues with my door dash order. I loved the Shanghai pork dumplings and the mushu chicken appetizer! I'll be back to get those items again.
google avatar

Yelp
We got takeout and decided to grab take out. We got the kung pao chicken and the Mongolian beef. Great food! Friendly staff! We look forward to trying more of their dishes in the future.

Yelp
Their food is excellent. Their to go packaging is why I can't love them. The good Dim sum - really good. Had chicken doughy one and crab cake small Wonton soup- chicken wontons and bok choy are great! Nice variety of healthy choices The bad Cashier not wearing mask properly and another time in the kitchen it was completely off. Packaging of soup sucks! Yesterday I got my soup delivered and it was leaking. Today I go in person and the bag isn't secure. The knot unties and the soup drops to the ground in front of my car. APPARENTLY YOU NEED ANOTHER WAY TO SECURE YOUR SOUPS TO GO. Fortunately, I had time to wait for them to replace my order. I was happier before I came in and saw behind the scenes. Again great food... but at what cost?? Get it together Fu Kee. Right now y'all are more like Funk-y.

Yelp
This restaurant has a good variety of Chinese food, I had the sweet and sour pork lunch meal, and my wife had the orange chicken lunch. The food was delicious, and the portions were filling. The counter person took our order. When order was complete, she placed both trays on the counter, so I picked them up and delivered to our table. When we completed our meal I returned trays and dishes to court. Only three other people were eating at the time we visited, so in was a quiet time. I plan to return and try other food on the menu. The selection of Chinese buns are tempting to try.

Yelp
The best part of my meal here was easily the dim sum. Really good veggie bao and dumplings. The vegetarian hot and sour soup was the "standard" takeout recipe. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Ordered a few dishes off the vegetarian menu and they were all gross. Salty and greasy, and hardly any vegetables. We ended up mixing it in with our own homemade veggie stir fry so as to not waste it, but otherwise it would have gone in the trash. Overall, it was nice to try once, but probably won't be back. There are better options in the area for the price.

Yelp
My gravy tofu chow fun had no gravy in it. I paid a little over $10 for my entree which was a little on the pricey side considering usual prices range from $7.95-$8.95. I was desperate that day because I got off from work late. Gavin and I left work after 6:45. I promised him McDonald's which was in the same plaza. I didn't want McDonald's plus I was a vegan that day (for 3 days) so I was fairly limited. Called and was able to pickup my order in less than 5 minutes. Awesome speed but the chow fun was mediocre. I asked for gravy but it was made dry-style. It's not dry but dry-style. It lacked flavor and usually I like pretty much almost every chow fun but this one left me thinking I will never return to this restaurant. + friendly service + very fast - higher menu prices than most Chinese restaurants - chow fun wasn't so fun The end.

Yelp
For lunch, I did a takeout consisting of eggrolls, potstickers, roasted garlic egg fried rice, candied pecan prawns, and chicken with string beans. The fried rice and the chicken with string beans were both excellent. Other items were good but did not stand out. The service was fast, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff was friendly. Although the menu is somewhat limited, I will be back to try other dishes in addition to the two excellent dishes.

Yelp
Ordered the eggplant tofu and it was disgustingly sour, aka spoiled. Never ordering agai

Yelp
Good food, Good people... 1 stars off because of extra ice quantity in thai ice tea than what is necessary. Nice people, they explained this is how they normally do it, $7.00 seems a bit expensive for this much ice. Do you agree with me there should be less ice in thai ice tea?

Yelp
My understanding this is a sister restaurant of Ginger Cafe and they both have similar menu (with Ginger cafe being a higher end restaurant and Fukee as the fast food option We have been eating Fukee for more than 7 years since we moved to south San Jose, both dine in and take out. We used to always bring our dog and dine outdoor. The vegetarian option is the bomb here and there is no comparison in other similar American Chinese restaurants. Their vegetarian foods are the reason that we keep coming back. Our favorites are: 1. Vegetable de Asia 2. Crispy mandarin tofu 3. Vegetarian kung pao They have some really good non vegetarian dishes as well, my favorite being Potato beef. Service is semi fast food where you have to order at the counter and pick up your own food but they will clean up the dishes after the meal. Haven't dined in door since pandemic so not sure if things have changed

Yelp
We found a cute spot while waiting for a doctor appt nearby. Totally underrated. The dim sum is flavorful and steamed right. We had the sample platter and our favorite was the squid ink! The eggplant plate was also spiced just right. Beautiful flavors. Last the red bean sesame ball crispy and sticky enough. A great 20 mins meal in between waiting!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was fresh and delicious. The teriyaki chicken bowls felt light and healthy. Great choice

Yelp
This is my very first time I came for the dim sum for my elderly mother. We've been blessed or you can say we've been spoiled to enjoy the yummy dim sum from any good dim sum restaurants around San Jose & Milpitas. Since my family has moved here to the south side, and during my daily routine walks I checked this place out. It happened on the rainy day a couple days ago so I assumed I wouldn't have to be waiting for the orders too long; well, I was wrong! They had me waited for more than 30 minutes. They charged me $62.89 for 9 small orders. When I got home & ready to feed my mother, we're so disappointed when we saw the foods; they're either small or missing ( one box has only 2 pieces of some kind they called Pan Fried Taro Shrimp Cake); others like Pan Fried Dumplings & Steamed Buns are so thickened & hard & dried for the buns. Every order they added raw cabbage in there ( to make ít looked full? Lol) We ended up not enjoying the foods. My mother gave up after trying 1 little piece of Chicken Siu Mai ( which is the only one tasted okay). We feel like we've wasted money because we're throwing the foods out! Definitely we don't ever want to come back there & not recommend this business to any of my friends , family or relatives.

Yelp
Not Covid compliant, like at all. The cook was arguing with the cashier without a mask while holding an open to go box close to her face and examining what was inside, essentially breathing all over it. Thankfully that box wasn't for me, but I am watching them make my food right now and the main cook is wearing her mask around her neck, and another cook is wearing his mask around his mouth. I am debating whether I should cancel my order or not.... Either way, if you order here, microwave the hell out of your food before eating it.

Yelp
I had never been here before and was in the mood for chinese food. Cashier working there was very pleasant and professional. I treated myself to 2 orders of dim sum and Hong Kong style seafood chow mein. No one was there and yet the wait was 15mins. Maybe they were doing other unseen orders. My food was $25. Dim sum was just ok. However the seafood and vegetables in sauce which accompanied the deep fried chow mein noodles was horrible. It tasted as if someone dropped a cup of salt and added it to the oyster sauce and soy sauce. I tried to separate contents from the sauce in hopes of salvaging it but that was a no go. Noodles could not be saved from where the sauce had covered them. Sadly I threw it away. The salt overpowered everything. So disappointing. I only ate there because was shopping nearby. Never again.
google avatar

Dino D.

Yelp
Went there for lunch. we tried the Chao Zhou Crab Cakes and it was dry and not good. The red sauce that came with it was watery sugar water. Also tried the Roasted Garlic Basil Crispy Pork (too dry over cooked), Vegetable Pad Thai (was ok nut no Thai Noodle), and Crispy Tofu Mandarin Sauce (taste was good). Our bill total was $54.14. This place was too expensive for the food quality. The quantity is good just not the quality. The interior appeared clean and girl at the register was friendly. There are things on the menu to try but that maybe a while for me to return. They must be doing something right they have been there for 15 years.
google avatar

Rubi M.

Yelp
Honestly I came in looking for a healthy meal, so I chose the vegetarian Kung pao expecting something light. The tofu is fried and when you bite into it, it's very oily with little to no flavor. At least now I know I should skip the tofu meal here. Portion was pretty good but I never understand why tofu dishes are more than $10.
google avatar

Diana F.

Yelp
I was first very hesitant to come here due to bad reviews. But, so glad I came. $30 family meal . Got dumplings, orange chicken, Mongolian beef (non-spicy) and steamed rice . The kids loved the orange chicken (good Balance of tender chicken and enough glaze- not dry) and the beef in the Mongolian beef was tasty and tender. Will def come again .
google avatar

Meg T.

Yelp
Hidden gem. Their dim sum are as good as the best Richmond district dim sum spots in SF.
google avatar

Rita V.

Yelp
Decent Chinese food. This place also sells dim sum and some Thai dishes. All customers should pay at the counter and wait for their food to be made. There are a few tables inside, too. I came here for lunch, and this place got packed fairly quickly. I ordered the chicken curry with white rice. The curry had eggplant, which I'm not a fan of. I really liked the curry sauce on top of the white rice. The chicken pieces were tender, too. Overall, this place is ok to grab a quick bite.
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
I have been eating at Fu Kee for years and have had overall great experiences. They have multiple yummy vegetarian dishes that I enjoy. They also have some really yummy vegetarian dumplings. I always get the kung pao vege chicken and the sesame rolls. I also sometimes order vegetable chow main with "white sauce" to make it vegan. They are quick and good when you need takeout Americanized Chinese food.
google avatar

Yelp
Okay, this place used to be mine and my moms favourite. Until recently the food was good, hot, and met our standards when it came to heat. But our most recent visit, which was yesterday, left us completely disappointed. The food we recieved was greasy, lacked in flavour, and lacked in heat. Everything about it was disappointing. We ordered the Pad Thai, Mongolian Beef, and eggplant and tofu and none it was edible. We couldn't finish anything. And when I am paying $40+, I expect the food to meet a certain quality. I'm not sure if it's new chefs, managment, or what but I will definitely no longer be purchasing food from this place again.

Yelp
Great food! And some times are reasonably priced but not all dishes. A lot can be pretty pricey. $12 Mongolian Beef + rice as a combo? No thanks. I was craving chow mein but was a little reluctant since the rice was $7 for a plate and the cashier didn't tell me the price of the combo. Food is really good and taste "healthy". They have beer here too! Sapporo and a few others. $4 I think? They recently remodeled and it appears by the decals they have that they NOW TAKE AMEX! THANK YOU!!!!! They recently remodeled so if you haven't been their in awhile, check it out!!!! They are trendy. Also they had the San Jose Mercury News Clips of them being featured in the Paper :). Had the dumplings, wonton soup and chicken soup in the past and they are good!!! Make sure to ask for napkins when you pick up your food and chop sticks if you desire them. They also greet you when you come in :). Their is a gym near by too so you can work out before or after your meal!!!
google avatar

Kal C.

Yelp
Not as good as I remember. New owners and new recipes. The Chinese chicken salad was a disappointment, the lemon chicken was more egg yolk than lemon. I did enjoy a few other dishes, but it was just okay. The staff was friendly.

Yelp
This place has really good food, whether you pick it up or door dash it. It's always good!!
