My husband's friend's birthday and he wants Fuddruckers. It's better than the horror themed pizza shop we went to last year, so I'm happy. But I've never tried Fuddruckers, didn't even know it was a real place and not just a joke from Idiocracy.
This isn't a sit down restaurant, it's a space in the food court. We were trying to get to a movie, so this didn't bother me. It was super crowded, as there was some sort of business convention happening but the longer we waited for our food, the better it was to find seats for the 10 of us.
Ordering was easy, even though I could not for the life of me hear the person taking our order. She was so soft spoken and when you asked, "huh?" or "can you repeat that?" she just stared at us. Oh well! The order came out correctly, so there's that.
We did wait a bit, about 25 min, but like I said, we were waiting for tables to clear up, so it didn't bother us.
I very much liked the toppings bar. This is great and I wish all burger joints did this. My husbands burger was cooked how he asked for it, medium, and tasted amazing. I got the crispy chicken salad. It was good, except the chicken was a bit dry. I couldn't tell if it was re-heated or just fried wayyy to long but if I had to guess, I'd say the former.
Overall, I do think it's a bit overpriced but not so much I wouldn't come back. Now, hopefully, it does stay in business (part of the reason for coming was to get it before it was gone.)
