During our wait my wife asked for a small plate to gather condiments and toppings before our burgers came out. She was denied and told something along the lines of the fact that “it wasn’t a salad bar.” That’s great and all, but there’s literally no difference to that scenario once you hand her the plate that holds her meal. She could have dumped half a pound of pickles on her burger once the meal was handed to her. Maybe it’s some rule management has or that staff member she asked was having a bad night. Either way, let’s be honest that was poor customer service.
On top of it, I find the only plus to this restaurant are the portions. The burgers are big and the fries are bottomless. However, the quality of the food seems to be average at best now. It seems fresh, but the burger just tasted flavorless and not seasoned. I think it’s because usually people dump numerous condiments on top or order a speciality burger that overrides the experience of the hamburger itself.
Long story short, I’m sadly no longer a Fuddruckers fan.
