Yelp
Solid effort with fresh Mexican food. I like their carne asada burritos, interesting in that they make it with Spanish rice as well as the usual ingredients (carne, guacamole, pico). It's got a buttery taste/texture to it. Worth noting is that their fries are crispy, unlike most other Mexican restaurants who serve theirs a bit soggy, and they always provide ketchup with them. The red and green salsas have a fresh taste to them.
They don't have a ton of seating but it's never felt crowded and I've always been able to get a seat.
Staff is reasonably friendly, and the price (while it's been creeping up over time) isn't outrageous compared to other similar restaurants. It's decent food and fast-casual service, overall.
Long side note: While they have plenty of lot parking, it's a very challenging lot to get into and out of, and probably the biggest reason they're not more popular. It's just hard to find them and get in/out. The easiest access to get here is westbound Blue Diamond, as a side street named Warbonnet leads right to the parking lot, and this means leaving west on Blue Diamond is really easy.
It's coming and going any other direction that's tough. There's no direct access for eastbound Blue Diamond: You either have to make a left on Cimarron and go all the way across a cramped, narrow parking lot (which at night has a weird collection of trollish drivers randomly popping in and out of spaces or slowrolling across the lot for no clear reason) to get to the restaurant on the eastern end... or try to make an unprotected left against heavy westbound traffic onto the next street Warbonnet, and then pull in from there.
The restaurant's storefront location is also not easy to see coming in from this direction. You have to go up/north past Rounder's Bar on the eastern end before it appears on the left side, next to a dance studio.
If leaving and you need to go east, unfortunately your only way out is to either get back westbound on busy Blue Diamond and (U-)turn at Cimarron, or go back through the parking lot of doom to Cimarron and go back to/through Blue Diamond.
