I tried the "Say Cheese!" and "Wu Tang" pizzas at Fugazzi Pizza. Overall, it was an alright experience.
I ordered online through their website. It stated that the order would be ready in 10 minutes, which I thought was super quick, but when I got to the location, my order was not ready yet and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes to get my order. Also, their lunch special for $9.95 is not listed on their website ordering page. I am not sure if this is intentional or not, but you might have to visit their location in person to benefit from it.
I thought the "Wu Tang" was too sweet because they drizzled too much honey. Usually when honey is incorporated into pizza, they'll make it a spicy honey or add some sort of flavoring to the honey to make it more savory, but it felt like the honey used was just pure honey. Also, as you can see in the included picture, it could have used a bit more tomato sauce. It felt dry around the edges. The "Say Cheese!" was overall alright. No real complaints per say. Dough on both pizzas was also just okay.
In sum, does Fugazzi Pizza make a better pizza than others in HOMA offering a similar product? Maybe not, but it's worth a try for those looking for something new in HOMA.
