Google
Veggie ramen was good, though a bit salty. Unfortunately, the service took away from the experience — the cashier took a long time to get simple bowl of ramen. Restaurant not busy. She was not very friendly or welcoming. Food was decent, but customer service could definitely improve.

I typically always come here for their grab and go foods, but I tried something different this time and got the tuna onigiri. I had food poisoning a few hours later. Hoping they can look into this and ensure their foods are well kept and refrigerated.

I have been coming to this little grocery store/convenience store for a few years. I enjoyed browsing around to look at their merchandise as it reminded me of my days living in Japan. I have also purchased cute little things they had over the years. It was also a good place to hang out while waiting for the shuttle bus back to Vancouver or a table at the restaurants next door. It was also an alternative for having a quick bite with more affordable options in Whistler. They had some pre-packaged sushi or meals, which were fairly standard items of good quality. One thing is I recalled people were nicer in the past, not that they were not nice anymore.

We just came from Japan and we found the same products. Love it ! And you have to try the ramen place just next door. Delicious

Lots of delicious snacks and food items at this cute Japanese grocery store! I got the red bean rice cake which was good, but you absolutely NEED to try the soy milk strawberry cream daifuku! Delicious! The lady running the store was very kind to my friend group as we entered the store at 9:59pm and let us doing some last minute shop and kept the store open for us to buy some snacks. Great service! (the butter rice crackers are also a really great snack)

Google
Dope spot to grab a Daifukumochi (大福餅) following an awesome Creamy Miso Vegan Ramen from next door! Always a must when I'm in the village and home from home for me.

Google
Cute little Japanese grocery store. They have snacks and food from Japan. I love the vegan bowl from their deli section.

Google
Small japanese grocery shop that carries some ready to eat food and other grocery items (snacks, drink, tibbits, seasoning and frozen stuff. Worth a visit if you intend to make your own meal or just want a quick bite)

Yelp
I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I forgot my wallet at home and politely asked if I could pay by e-transfer, as I had money available and was ready to pay immediately. The cashier asked the manager, and they firmly refused. While I understand store policies, there was absolutely no compassion or empathy shown. The cold and dismissive response--especially when someone is trying to buy food--was very disappointing. Experiences like this reflect the true colors of how a business values its customers. I would not recommend this place based on the lack of basic human understanding.!!!

Yelp
Cute little store that offers a bunch of Asian snacks and products. It's connected right next door to the ramen shop so easy to hop in and out with that too.

Yelp
Small Japanese market for those specialty items you are looking for like ramen noodles both fresh frozen and dried, nori, rice, panko, kimchee, shoyu and other sauces and limited snacks and drinks. They do come at a premium but if you need a specialty Japanese item, this is your best shot. They also have limited bentos which I haven't really looked at. They are owned and run by the same company as Harajuku Izakaya and Ohyama Ramen so it can't be too bad. It's a small Japanese market but if you are looking for a specialty item they may have it. We got some fresh frozen ramen with chicken shio broth. Alone it was pretty boring and plain but we added sliced steak, caramelized onions with butter and garlic, spam and a soft boiled egg

Yelp
Surprisingly good selection of pre-made Japanese food to-go (bowls, sushi, gyoza, etc) as well as other Japanese snacks and groceries including some really good frozen sukiyaki beef that we brought back to the room to cook up for dinner! Impressed by the creative onigiri selection. So happy to have this option and making this a daily stop for onigiris to take on the trails for portable snacks.

Yelp
The most lovely little store, affordable sushi and other speciality items! Stopped by multiple times a day during my week in Whistler, still thinking of that onigiri!

Yelp
Fuji Market is a cute, small Asian market. They had cup ramen, rice, snacks, even kimchi and a variety of prepared rolls (usually sell out by 2). If you are craving any of the aforementioned items, it's worth going, esp if you want a quick, fairly inexpensive lunch.

Yelp
When we were in Whistler we were looking for a place where we could pick up some light food to go and stumbled upon this delightful place. We had a couple of their bento boxes along with a couple platters of salmon sushi. All of the sushi were delicious, healthy, and left us feeling satisfied! My friend who was having stomach problems all throughout our stay in Whistler, said this was the only meal that left his stomach without any trouble. Highly recommend this place for quick, inexpensive, and healthy food!!!

Yelp
A nice grab and go option just outside the village for lunch. A selection of rolls and donburi in the back cooler with lots of interesting Japanese drink options. The market is the best - I've tried a bunch of the frozen products (gyoza, ramen, mochi, melona pops) and stock up on Japanese condiments, snacks and sushi making materials to take home. If it's a nice day, the patio seating out front has an awesome view of the mountains (beyond the parking lot!).

Yelp
I ordered sushi party tray for my son's birthday party, as I have some guests who are vegan or gulten allergy. And also because I love sushi roll as a helhty finger food. I chosen the Vegan special for vegan and vegetalian guests and Seafood special for others(especially for parents!). Trays are prepared nicely and the portion and the variety was good enough! Everybody said "Wow!!" when I put them on the table and kids enjoyed them all together (I was impressed how popular the sushi is even between canadian kids). Thank you chef!

Yelp
I did not know there was a Japanese grocery store until I stopped by for ramen next door. Their selection is small and on the overpriced side because this is Whistler. We got some instant noodles and an o-nigiri as snacks back in our hotel room.

Yelp
When I first saw the reviews on this place it almost convinced me against trying it. But I found their website intriguing. And one of the locals at the Westin hotel said they thought it was good to try. I took my family of five and we were so glad we went. We are from Los Angeles and we have been to many very good ramen places. This place was not the best in the world, but it's certainly pretty good. And the prices are very fair, especially considering you are in Whistler. The food is very authentic. The menu selection is pretty limited. But if all you care for is ramen and rice bowls (don buri), you will not be disappointed. It is a sitdown place but you pretty much get your own water and utensils. You can go to the web site to find out more details regarding their menu options. They basically have three types of ramen and 3 types of rice bowls. It also functions as a small Japanese market with some pretty good ethnic food items you can purchase and take to your hotel or condo. We did some basic grocery shopping there as well. I would probably give this a four star rating, but since my opinion is that previous reviewer's have given an inaccurate assessment of this place and there are very few reviews to base your decision, I'm going to give it five stars, since it needs a little more yelp love.

Yelp
I'm supporting the earlier reviewer. This place was just what we were looking for today and under reviewed. We got the miso ramen (spicy) and it was perfect on this cold day. Good flavor broth and the chashu pork was flavorful.

Yelp
it's just ok in absolute terms. but for whistler, i might move it up to 4 stars because of price. i like the ramen that they offer. actually, if you crave ramen, this is the place to go in whistler. the rest of their food? not memorable. but it is japanese run and i don't leave feeling like i just got ripped off.

Yelp
No beef despite a $6 up charge for a beef rice bowl. I just got a few tiny beef shavings (maybe 1oz of beef) and a few pieces of tofu. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered it again on another occasion and received the same quantity a second time. Way to insult your customers.

Yelp
I was quite surprised finding a Japanese super market in Whistler. The place is not big by no means but it does have a decent variety of Japanese nick knacks. The store also sells food. The limited menu serves noodles and rice dishes. Orders are placed at the cash registered. Finding the market can be a bit hard since it's kind of tucked away from the main strip of Whistler Village.

Yelp
Great place for Japanese food! We ordered the ramen, sashimi and karaage bento box. Kids and adults were all all happy for a very reasonable price. It's a bit off the beaten path but just head towards the conference center.

Yelp
Service could care less about serving customers. Lots of better Japanese options in whistler
