Fuji Sushi & Asian Grill

Fuji Sushi is a welcomed addition to the Marble Falls restaurant lineup. Check out their Marble Falls roll. Outside the standard sushi restaurant staples, this one puts a smile on my face :)

So nice to find a little place in a strip mall representing itself with great Sushi. The rolls are amazing. I recommend the sandwich roll. The nigiri sushi is a little small but it’s not that expensive so the offset in price makes it still worthwhile. The staff is attentive, and the hostess is very sweet and generous with her smile. Will stop again next time we’re in marble Falls.

It’s easy to miss this place if you’re on 281 so look out for that. It’s located in a shopping center in the left corner. Parking isn’t great either. I came here on my birthday weekend and once more in the past. I love the ambience and the food & service are generally good, but if you like spicy food, this is not the place for you. Each time I have asked for the spiciest dish or sushi and what I have gotten has not been remotely close to being considered spicy. In many authentic Asian restaurants, they give you a spice level and you choose how spicy you want the dish. I’m sure they are playing it safe here, but it’s too safe for me. It’s not for me, but it is a nice place for a small, intimate dinner.

Great place to stop for sushi. Everything is fresh and delicious. One of our favorites is the Texas roll. That's a must try and you won't be disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and service was great

The first night we were in Marble Falls, I picked this restaurant. The seaweed salad was good, but the mushroom soup was only put a mushroom in the soup but not cooked. Sushi roll my friend ordered was very strange with cream cheese at top, middle with some salmon and white raw fish with mango toppings. It tasted very strangely balanced but a little odd to us from Taiwan. Spicy edamame was really a mistake, so salty and spicy. And the stirred fried noodles was too salty that I could only pick up some porks to eat and not the noodles. My local friends did not know this restaurant and I guess maybe it was not the flavors for us from Taiwan, but I would not go there again.

Stopped in while driving through town. Very nice place, good food, decent prices. Our waitress was new but very nice. Liked her, the food and service. Great place if you're looking for Japanese food in marble falls.

The spicy tuna roll and the spicy salmon roll wasn't great. (I didn't eat but a few pieces of each) added Siracha and alot of soy sauce but... still I'll try another dish later but the rolls at HEB are probably better. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

What a joke. The salad that came with the Hibachi was so small, I ate it all in one bite. Also the vegetables are not cooked fresh to order. It's like they are all in a big pan under a hot lamp just sitting back there all day. No matter which veggie you eat, it all just tastes like oil.

We went there based on recommendation from hotel, and positive reviews online. I ordered Shrimp Tempura Bento Box while my husband ordered Teriyaki Salmon Bento Box for lunch. While their menu had luncheon prices, it was not on the menu that luncheon prices were not available on Sundays. We agreed to and were charged the dinner price. It would have been ok if the portion was a little larger, but it wasn't. When the food came, there was no tempura sauce which gives tempura that sizzle. When I asked for tempura sauce, the waitress said they were out of tempura sauce and a substitute sauce was used. That should have been disclosed when I ordered not when I'm ready to eat it. The salad was lettuce with a few slivers of carrots and a watered-down mayonnaise like sauce. Mediocre at best. My husband's salmon was good he said. The ambiance was loud recent pop music. Not tranquil. The waitress was nice and provided us what was available. Tempura without hot tempura sauce was a disappointing meal that I did not finish.

Family run. Great food and service. Got the chicken katsu bento as it has a bit of a selection : gyoza, salad, sushi, and of course, crispy chicken katsu. Not at all greasy! Ashley, server, was very attentive. Went mid afternoon so it was nice to a steady stream of diners come in as well as takeout orders. Pretty authentic and lots of variety on menu!

We saw the sign and read a few reviews so we decided to stop in for lunch. We read one review stating it's the "best sushi in Marble Falls". I like Marble Falls but they simply don't have the draw or demographics for a truly amazing sushi restaurant. We started off with a seaweed salad and house salad. The seaweed salad was good, but it's hard to make a bad one. The house salad was disappointing. They advertise it as having a ginger dressing but it was more like a mayonnaise dressing or even ranch. But definitely not a ginger dressing. It's odd because if they don't want to make it, they could buy Makoto Ginger dressing (the best in our opinion) and use that. We ordered the Hamachi nigiri just to try the sushi and we had a few rolls. For rolls we did a traditional Philadelphia roll, a Crunch roll and rainbow roll. The Hamachi is disappointing. It's fresh but the quality of the fish was just fair to say the most. I don't know where they get their fish from, but this is not top grade fish by any means. On the other hand, the rolls were quite good. Granted, the Crunchy roll is fried and the Philadelphia roll has smoked salmon so you aren't eating fresh raw fish and you can use just about anything. The rainbow roll was average at best. The service here is good and it's a nice clean restaurant. If you are simply getting rolls, this is an okay place to visit. But if you want high quality fish like you can find in many sushi restaurants in Austin... you will be disappointed here.

I have been to this awesome place twice now. Each time I went with sushi lovers and we all loved everything we ordered. They have a very well priced lunch special. We also ordered a few specialty rolls. It is very hard to narrow down which rolls were the favorite. I also had the same waitress each time, she was super sweet and very patient with us as we debated which rolls to order!

I don't live in this area but was here to see my dentist and stopped in to Fuji to check out their great lunch special. I picked up. It was PHENOMENAL. You can tell their fish is really good and fresh and the rice is not an overlooked ingredient either, like it is at many other Americanized sushi restaurants. Will definitely be returning! I had the salmon and avocado roll and the spicy salmon. (Can you tell I like salmon?) Both were fantastic since the main ingredient salmon was good quality, but the spicy salmon was definitely a notch above. Highly recommend.

Wife ordered shrimp and fried rice. The plentiful shrimp was cooked perfectly. And there was so much fried rice, she ended up getting a to go box. I had chicken teriyaki with miso soup. Both were brought to the table piping hot. In fact the chicken teriyaki came on a sizzling metal plate. Both were a little bit flat, but came to life with the addition of some low-salt soy sauce and some ginger slices plus a little wasabi. The bowl of rice was good and was sticky enough for use with chopsticks which were provided. I also needed a to-go box. The wait staff was attentive and one server even covered for our primary order taker/server. The prices were reasonable for what we got. But I must say the weekday lunch menu looks like a phenomenal price performer. The place was very clean and comfortable. We noticed as we ate our meal, it seems to draw a younger crowd than other Asian food places in town. Perhaps that is because of the sushi and the sashimi. We will return.

Ordered their lunch special; Spicy Tuna and Shrimp Tempura Roll accompanied with miso soup...delicious! It was so good that we ended up ordering another plate. Also ordered their seaweed salad and it too was delicious. The Fuji fried rice was...ummm, just okay. I think they could have left the brown curry flavoring out (not a fan) especially for fried rice. But overall, I will give it a 4.0. The place was very clean and the sushi is legit Japanese especially after having been to Japan myself.

Great place to eat. Service was great and so was the food. Highly recommend the Golden Dragon Roll, it was very good.

Quick, tasty, and refreshing. Large to go portions, enough for 2 people to share or 2 meals. Friendly staff and calm atmosphere.

Pictured is Rainbow Naruto, Shumali, and their ice cream dessert (Flavors we tried were strawberry, mango, and green tea). I did not take a picture of the entrees but they were equally pretty and yummy. I got the chicken teriyaki hibachi with fried rice, my family got some variation of the same. Everyone liked it. I prefer the mushroom soup over the Miso soup but that is just my preference. Everything was clean, delicious, and everyone is friendly. We will definitely go back.

Food was great! Takoyaki was good, shrimp teriyaki bento box was super tasty, shrimp tempura roll was really good. Katy was an awesome server and on point. We will definitely be back again.

We've written a great review for this place before, but this time I want to compliment their take-out. Andy and Jessica (Andy is an Oriental chef who moved from New York) have worked hard to stay open for take-out through the Covid-19 year. We patronize them often, and appreciate their good service, generous portions, and the friendly treatment at their specially-modified take-out window. We've gotten sushi, sashimi, bento boxes and regular dinners, always satisfying.

Delicious! So happy we have a great sushi restaurant in Marble Falls! My favorite roll is the Fuji roll. They also have great non sushi options for people who aren't too adventurous. Staff is great and the restaurant is very clean. You won't be disappointed!

OK, who's been keeping this secret! We just discovered this restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. Delicious Asian food, lovely decor, relaxing music, and excellent service! The prices are very reasonable too. This is a great restaurant for an evening out to eat!

My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch and we were terribly disappointed. The first sign of danger was that there were only 2 other people sitting at a table and it was 12:30, during the noon hour. We ordered a Fuji roll and a Dragon roll and hot Japanese tea. When they arrived I could tell that there was way too much rice and that the chef went pretty CHEAP and slim on the other ingredients. I suppose that the restaurant wants to try to fill up your tummy on starchy rice and not the expensive fish. Things didn't taste fresh, rice was mushy and the hot green tea was cold! My biggest gripe was that the portions were WAY TOO SMALL FOR THE PRICE. When the bill came, they overcharged us for the 2 rolls plus tea and then had to recalculate after we complained. They must have a deep fryer in the back, maybe for the tempura dishes, and I could smell the overheated and overused rancid oil in the air. I used to work in the restaurant industry so I know some of the cost cutting measures chefs and managers use to fatten their bottom line. Anyway, my girlfriend and I were still hungry after dropping $30 for a lunch, that's the first time in history we ever walked out after paying a bill and were still hungry. Never say never, right...well, I will never go back and drop another penny at this overpriced money pit. Furthermore, the tea tasted like American Lipton tea bag tea, not genuine Japanese tea. And, the texture of the soggy rice was more like Uncle Ben's instant boil in bag not like the real authentic short grain, Japanese sticky rice, like true sushi bars serve. Get prepared to be dissatisfied and disappointed.

Sushi was very good and fresh. Will visit again and re-review. They very small issues I had where all service related. The young lady didn't know what anything was on the menu and couldn't answer even one of the four questions we asked her. It may take time to get the service and communication up to speed. The only other thing I would suggest is that ALL the ingredients be listed on menu items. I hate wasabi and I ordered a roll that didn't list it as an ingredient, but the roll came slathered in a wasabi sauce that made it completely inedible.

Went last Saturday for the first time, I was the only non-sushi lover and this place changed my mind. Ordered a selection of rolls that came on a sushi ship, crispy spicy edamame, loved it all and our waitress was friendly, pleasant and made our dinner a delight. Going back with the kids and grandkids this weekend.

My husband and I have eaten a lot of sushi throughout our marriage, but it's hard to compare to Fuji sushi and Asian Grill in Marble Falls. We have lived in Florida and tried some of the fresh seafood and fresh raw fish but this place blows any kind of sushi in Florida out of the water. Super excited about this place sticking around and inviting more to try it! SO GOOD! I suggest the Texas Roll! And anything else on the menu. Hibachi is wonderful too!

I was hesitant to try a sushi restaurant in a small town, but pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of the food. We're from Houston where there's plenty of sushi to choose from -- Fuji Sushi is as good as some of our regular spots in Houston. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

Great food, nice staff. Hopefully they offer Hitachino beer in the future, and maybe some ramen options.

My family and I dined there last night, the food is tasty, prices are reasonable and the service was great, our server Katy was awesome, attentive and accommodating, definitely recommend this place, nowadays it's hard to find a combination of all these qualities, so thank you for the pleasant experience.

Best sushi in town, friendly staff. Can't wait for reopening. Love sitting at the bar to watch them make it, plus you get an extra treat. Tried nearly every specialty roll and haven't had one I wouldn't order again.

The person who left this place a 1-star review is on crack. Our food was delicious, and our waitress was so polite and accommodating. We will definitely be repeat customers!

It's always a question when a new restaurant opens up are they good, is it nice inside, will I have to wait a long time and is it going to be popular? Well we waited after they opened for a while to see how things would go and then some friends went and they loved it. So we went last weekend and we were glad we did. The place was very clean and we were seated quietly. The staff helped us to make a great choice and shortly after that our food came out. The sushi was fresh and the portions were good. Our bill was what we were expecting and we had a great time. We will be back and we are glad they are in Marble Falls!

Third time back and this place continues to be consistently delish!! I appreciate that they pride themselves on presentation appeal and flavor. Wait staff is excellent. Bring a bottle of wine and enjoy a night out.

It is not easy being Gluten Free and Vegan in most of the smaller cities in the HillCountry. Imagine how excited I was to find veggie or Asparagus "sushi" and GF soy sauce so I can have some of my favorite foods. I love these guys!

You would drive right by it... it's in a little shopping plaza. We stopped on our way home from hiking and where presently surprised by what we found. Clean with a great ambience on the inside. Food was wonderful served very quickly. Our waitress was fantastic! Would definitely go back again!

For all three visits, we really enjoyed the food and service here. Hoping they made it through COVID and will still be here for summer! :)

Delicious sushi! I was pleasantly surprised because it doesn't look like much from the outside. I ordEr Volcano roll and it was fresh and very yummy.

So maybe the Sushi is good as all the reviews were for sushi. We had the hibachi and it was poor. The steak was low grade and lacking in flavor and the chicken was as well. Veggies were ok and the fried rice wasn't fresh at all. I will say the mushroom soup was good and the salad but for the price the entree needs to be solid. If you have been to any good hibachi place and you order hibachi here you will be very disappointed. I might also add the portions were small but I was actually glad they were because it would have been awkward having a lot of food left over and not getting a go box. The wait staff was excellent.

This is a GREAT Japanese and sushi restaurant, and a tremendous asset to the Marble Falls & Horseshoe Bay area communities. We drive half an hour to it, and it's worth it. We got takeout yesterday (10/16/2020), our third time in as many weeks, and before Covid-19 ate inside several times. Andy and his family moved here from New York a year or so ago, committed their careers to Marble Falls, and opened just a few months before the Covid-19 outbreak. My wife and I are SO glad they opened again for takeout a few weeks ago. FOOD: Outstanding and generous (often with complimentary extras). He's an excellent Oriental chef and the food when eating inside is beautifully presented. We've had lots of the menu items, both regular Japanese and sushi (raw and cooked), both by ourselves and with larger groups. TAKEOUT: They have created a special window, very sanitary and easy to use via phone order, online order or walk-up (which takes a bit of time). Our three orders since they reopened for takeout have been well-prepared, complete, accurate, reasonably priced, well-packaged, very generous portion-wise (with leftovers for the next day), and have contained little extras (last night edamame--probably misspelled). PLEASE PATRONIZE GREAT AREA RESTAURANTS, BOTH FUJI SUSHI AND OTHERS, SO THAT WE DON'T LOSE THEM TO COVID-19.

This is my new favorite place! The prices are excellent for the portions. The first time I had sushi there, Shane my waiter recommended several different ones and loved them all. The second time I went I ordered a steak Bento box and it was delicious. I tried the miso soup and was pleasantly surprised as I don't like tofu. But it was great. Been there a few times since and tried the mushroom soup... another win! The Fuji Rice is SOOOOOO good! The first time my mother ordered it, she had left overs so the next time we shared it. Honestly, this is a great little place. The decor is modern with booths or tables. Our waitress Mariafer was excellent and super friendly!

Newly opened this month, clean, delicious, fair price, friendly staffs. They're applying for alcoholic permit. So, they only have iced tea, hot tea and soft drinks. It's OK to bring your own wine right now.

This place was great, tried it when it first opened the server was just learning but tried really hard and did a great job. The food is authentic and the Sushi is spot on. I asked for the Las Vegas roll and the chef looked up on his phone and made it for me Becuase it wasn't on the menu.

We are SO happy to have a good sushi restaurant in Marble Falls! We ordered the Sweetheart Roll and the Fuji Roll - both were delicious. The fish is fresh and there is a wide variety of options on the menu. They are still closed for inside dining but have an efficient pickup and online ordering system. We will definitely be back!

Just came here like 330 pm today. Picked up our order thinking it was right and when we got home our order was wrong. We ordered spicy tuna roll and a spicy salmon roll. When I opened the bags they weren't even sushi rolls they were sushi wraps. I don't know how this place got 4 stars but it's not up to par. Not only that but the noodles were disgusting. Don't recommend you guys coming here

Amazing selection of sushi and a nice addition to Marble Falls! Plenty of options for sushi lovers of all kinds and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is nice and quiet. Appetizers were good as well, loved the cream cheese wontons. Options for the kids were good too.

Great new place in Marble Falls. First time here for me and second time for my wife. Sushi was good best I've had out here, service was great and prompt. We ordered the "Love Boat for 2" and 2 extra rolls. The love boat would have been enough for us. Try them out. Great new addition to the area!

Fast service, in and out within 5 minutes for a To go order made on the spot, best sushi this side of austin. Great prices for a sushi restaurant this far from Austin.
