"A Japanese DJ based in Lyon wanted to replicate a Japanese ramen institution in France. In this utilitarian-style space in the Guillotière neighbourhood, he has joined forces with his compatriot, originally a musician, trained in the exacting art of ramen. Everything is made in house, including gyoza and desserts, and the ingredients are local if not Asian (such as farmhouse pork). Fine sake selection." - Michelin Inspector

Don't know how they got on the michelin guide because everything we ate was way too oversalted. The assortment appetizers to share was uneatable because of the salt on everything. The karage had too much breading as well. I personally liked the Tokyo style ramen more than the traditional tonkotsu since it was lighter, but it still was way too salty by the end.

For starter, we ordered karaage served with 5 big pieces of fried chicken with full of taste. While Tonkatsu ramen tastes quite good but not authentic.

Well... Price is competitive given the portion. Ambience and environment is good. Very cozy deisgn. We came here with high hope but.... The ramen was mediocre. The ramen itself is average while the tonkotsu (pork) soup is on salty side, and not milky like i used to have in authentic japanese cuisine. I cannot but rate the food one star, because my friends and i all fell sick after the dinner. Should not be the ramen, but probably the marinated semi-boiled eggs we all ordered as supplements. Just an alert, maybe other food no problem.

Food was ok, but service was just so-so. One of the waitresses was always with a poker face, and didn’t say a word whenever she came to our table. Yuzu cheesecake was yummy but the matcha cheesecake tasted a bit off. It was 4 of us, one keeps throwing up and have stomach ache. Two have diarrhea after. The last person also starts feeling sick. 🤢 To reply to the owner: In my humble opinion, you shouldn’t come and serve customers if you’re sick, especially in hospitality industry. What kind of a boss would still make you come to work when sick. Don’t think I’d ever want to go to a restaurant that treats their employees like this, let alone the food quality issue. Thanks for making yourself clear.

We had lunch here. Very nice place. Staffs are friendly and good at English. Ramens are nice and rich. Matcha and sesame ice-cream are very delicious.

One of the best authentic ramen spots in Lyon. The chef is Japanese, and all the beverages are amazing. It is a must-visit ramen place in Lyon.

Hands down one of the best ramen and dumplings 🥟 outside Japan, wow it was amazing. Reserve as they get filled up quickly

Love this place; best ramen in Lyon. The chef and staff are very nice and I discovered sparkling sake here — a delight. We come often and will be back!
