I tried this place because of the reviews and their new deals. I ordered: 1- New spicy fried chicken sando meal ($14) - The chicken in the burger was too dry, there was barely any sauce and barely any spice to it. The patty was tasteless. Even popeyes plain chicken sandwich tastes better than this!!! I would not recommend it at all as the fries were like so fried and hard. It was almost inedible. And for the price of $14 with drink and these fries!!!! It was a huge disappointment!!!! 2- fuku fingers ($9) The chicken was again very dry and the crispy part was too crispy to chew!!!! The sauces were the only bearable part of this meal!!!!!! Better than the burger experience but still wouldn't recommend. Overall, terrible experience!! Definitely not worth the price. ** 2 stars for timely, accurate delivery and the sauces provided.

3/5 - Lots of Potential Shrouded by Simplicity My wife and I are huge fans of David Chang and we're currently watching his new Hulu TV show, The Next Thing You Eat. The first episode was literally all about how COVID has affected takeout culture and eating outside the bounds of what a traditional restaurant entails. As such, it only seemed fitting that we order takeout from this takeout menu via Uber eats. Fuku is an okay take out fast food restaurant. The sandwiches offer unique takes and flavors on an otherwise pretty ordinary sandwich. Their menu is pretty simple, only offering three different sandwiches, two of which are pretty much the same but different sauces while the other one comes with additional shredded cabbage. Personally, I thought that for a fast food takeout restaurant, the chicken was cooked pretty well and it was still juicy, even after delivery. The sauces tasted pretty good, which is a shame because the rest of the sandwich is pretty plain and boring. The "new" Spicy Fried Chicken Sando Meal - 4/5 I give the sandwich four out of five because the sauce tasted really good. However, like I mentioned above, the sandwich is literally just two pieces of bread, chicken and sauce and there's not really much else going on here. Spicy Fried Chicken Sando - 3/5 I give the sandwich a three out of five because I didn't really like the sauce that much. Also dock off points for the same reasons as the sandwich above. It's simply just two pieces of bread, a piece of chicken and some sauce. As far as the takeout service goes, the food got here pretty quickly and the food was packaged very nicely. There was even an option on Uber eats to have the sauce set to the side which I opted for so that the sandwich wasn't soggy when it got here. There were markings on the outside of the bag for inspection purposes to make sure that the order is correct. However, our bag wasn't marked at all which makes me think that either they didn't double check it or they just didn't take the time to mark it off as being checked. All in all, I think that Fuku is a pretty good place to get some takeout chicken sandwiches. Their sauces are pretty good. However their sandwiches are just a little too simple to call it amazing. However, I'd say this is a pretty safe choice if you want to go out and get some takeout. Albeit might be on the more expensive side as far as fast food takeout restaurants go.

A lot of hype around this place but it's just overpriced chicken on bread. I actually ordered from the one in Arlington but they do not have a page yet. I probably should've read the reviews here first. The fries were cold. The chicken sandwich initially tasted like fried fish that my mom used to make when I was a kid. Idk why. Once you get to the sauce it's ok but nothing spectacular. And overall the meal left my bowels saying Fuk U today. I wouldn't get it again.

Chicken sandwich combo was great! Yummy saucy crispy outside juicy inside. Salted fries. All I could ask for. Then I looked inside the bag and they gave me snickers!! Very nice.

Way better chicken sandwich than your typical fast food. Perfectly crispy bacon, I love the spicy jalapeño waffle fries and all the custom sauces. Even the packaging was tidy. $15 seems reasonable because everything tastes fresh and that’s about on par with the same meal at Five Guys. Personally, I think it’s a cool spot and brand.

Ordered once food was mediocre. The hype is high quality low. Aside from the quality of food and taste it was a sloppy presentation, minimal effort. Tonight I got home late. Wanted some junky eats. Decided to give it a second chance. Order was processed via Uber Eats. Waited an hour only for order to be cancelled. Go back to NYC. Your says in philly are limited as these reviews suggest. Low Grade Food Low Grade Service.

The sandwich was good, but not sure if it’s worth paying that much more than Popeyes like the other reviewer said. Also the waffle fries were over cooked and they were very stingy with the quantity. The box looked almost empty when I opened it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Got an order off Uber Eats $45. By far the biggest WASTE of money ever. The food was ice cold. None of the items were at all like the descriptions on the menu. As well as it was missing items on the actual sandwiches that were in the description as well as picture. I cannot believe people are delivering this food. This has got to be a front of some sort. TERRIBLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
