"Includes a vada pav on its offerings, used here as an example of how restaurants have popularized regional street snacks and prompting the question of why similar riffs—like keema pav or a celebrated sloppy joe—haven't become as widespread across other modern burger and comfort-food outlets." - Jaya Saxena

Love it! The new owner is amazing! I’m celiac and they do an amazing job at making specials rolls that I can also enjoy. Their menu is clear and states when a roll has the option to be gluten free. Which takes the stress out of it for me. The food is beautiful and I loved watching her run around waiting on customers!

Fuku Sushi was amazing! Super friendly staff the menu listed allergens which made it really easy to see what was safe to eat, which I appreciated. The rolls were fresh and delicious, but pricey. I’ll definitely be back!

My favorite sushi place in Longmont, after trying several others. Have now been here 5 times, getting a mix of old and new things each time, and have had no misses.
Size can be a little inconsistent (dine in seems a little bigger than take out). Plating is also prettier for dine in. But texture and taste is always great. Staff is always attentive and friendly.
I have not ordered noodles or ramen, but the sushi rolls, sashimi, and sushi have all been great so far.

I was craving sushi and we ordered pick-up from Sushi Leo. I've never eaten here before but had heard it was good so I didn't think I would be so disappointed. The sushi was decent, but not great. Eel rolls are usually a safe bet at any sushi place, but this one was not good. The chicken yakitori was *very* dry. The bulgogi was $15. The serving was so small it was insulting, and it didn't even come with rice. I took a photo of it with my hand for reference. For 3 rolls, yakitori and bulgogi it was $70, plus tax and tip, so $90 total. I feel like I wasted my money and won't be going back.

I thought I'd pop in for lunch to try out the restaurant under new ownership. Surprisingly I was the only person in there at 11 am. It was really good. The lunch sushi roll special gives you alot for the money. With the soup salad and two sides I have more than enough for dinner. I'll definitely be back.

Recently, new management took over this establishment and renamed it Fuku Sushi, and we were not disappointed.
My wife and I started with the shrimp siu mai and then ordered the Vegas Roll, which she usually chooses whenever we visit a sushi restaurant. She said it was the best she has ever had.
I got the Chasu Ramen, and the Chasu pork was incredibly tender—litterally melted in my mouth.
The environment was clean and cozy. Keep up the great work, Fuku! We will definitely be returning soon!

We were sad to discover some changes in the quality and taste of the food that we use to enjoy once in this once our most favorite Japanese restaurant in longmont. I don't know how my husband and I can bring ourselves back from today. Don't get me wrong the food was edible and well plated, but lacking the special high quality taste and flavor it once had.

Came in late, but felt welcomed and warm greeting from the staff. Amazing service and extremely friendly! Got great suggestions and ordered a sashimi sampler and 2 fifferent tuna rolls (a firecracker roll, and a super crazy roll). Tuna rolls were great and the sampler was delicious. I'd highly recommend this place and will be coming back. Great food, service, and vibes.

Yelp
This place replaced Sushi Leo. Overall, it's pretty good. I had a bento box with a spicy tuna roll, Las Vegas roll and edamame. It came with a great bowl of miso and a basic salad with an overpowering dressing. The tuna roll and edamame were excellent. The Vegas roll is a California roll with fried Kani on top. The fried kani sadly just tasted like oil; I couldn't taste any crab. So while I like the rolls themselves, the topping wasn't adding much. Everyone else liked their sushi and noodles, so overall it was a good experience. Service was good overall, and the restaurant is clean.

Yelp
We had another great, cooling snack at Fuku Sushi this afternoon. The food was delicious and Lindy and Ming, the owners are very friendly.

Yelp
Although I don't think this is owned by Japanese people, I was very surprised that tempura batter was well made, its oil was fresh, and tempura came out very light and crispy, which tempura is supposed to be. My shrimp in yaki-udon was properly trimmed at the tail so that shrimp meat came off easily without tearing off the last end. My friend's chirashi was beautiful, which I have to say one of the best display and ingredients I've seen (I'm from Tokyo) - yellow tail was torched, which is excellent because yellow tail is more oily than others and torching would increase the flavor. Next time when I go there, I'll ask the owner where he received his training. -- One note to the wait person -- please consider which way each dish should face. The chef decorates each one in a certain way. I only noticed this because my friend's chirashi looked the most beautiful from my view who was sitting across from him. Each sashimi piece is strategically tilted and layered. Good food should entertain both our taste and visual senses.

Yelp
Went for lunch. My daughter had a bento box. Chicken was dry- only vegetables were onions. Not good. I had two piece sushi. Spicy tuna to hot to eat. Portions were small. Comparable to store (safeway, king soopers) sushi, but more expensive. Not worth the price!

Yelp
Tuesday night, there were very few patrons, but the warm atmosphere, the calm music and the freshest Colorado fish I've had made the night truly enjoyable. This place is a hidden gem. The service was tremendous and the recommendation was spot on.

Yelp
Was looking for Leo's & found their successor since September, 2024. Easy parking. Nice storefront atmosphere--quiet, well-decorated, nice furniture. Tables + sushi bar (with Japanese cooking videos!); wine & beer license so sake!. Excellent, fresh fish, friendly service, pleasant vibe. We did take-out both times, but the tables looked inviting & the sushi bar would be fun, too.

Yelp
The new owners and staff are sweet and really appreciate when we come in. The menu has excellent choices for combination lunches (or dinners), such as the 2-roll or 3-roll lunch that comes with soup and salad. The bento box also has an excellent variety of items. For example, I had the teriyaki chicken which came on a bed of cooked onions--yum-- plus 4 pc. California roll, 2 pc. shrimp shumai, rice, AND soup & salad. All for $16.50 on the lunch special !! The food is fresh and delicious! Nice ambiance too. More homey than a lot of Japanese restaurants.

Yelp
Best sushi in Longmont! So fresh and tasty; we will definitely be coming back here over all other options!! It is a smaller space with only 4ish people on staff: one waitress, 2 sushi chefs, and one back of kitchen staff members. They all are working very hard and doing a great job but it can get a little bottlenecked during the prime dinner time. Definitely worth it!!

Yelp
This restaurant used to be known as Sushi Leo. The new owners changed the name to Fuku Sushi but kept the high quality and excellent service of the old restaurant. They also lowered the lunch prices (except on Sunday for some mysterious reason). We eat lunch there regularly and it is the best Japanese food in town. The bento boxes are always a good bet and my wife loves their chirashi bowl lunch special. Their tempura is delicate and crunchy, the vegetables freshly steamed instead of deep fried. and their miso soup & side salad are delicious. The quality of their sashimi is always first rate, with types of seafood that other restaurants don't offer. Their Hamachi Kama is a treat. Try Fuku Sushi, you'll like it!
