We booked on tabelog. I'm sure you all know this restaurant may be hard to secure a reservation.
While it was my fault I misssed the confirmation email sent to me on the previous day, when I arrived at the restaurant, the reception staff had the most terrible attitude. He knew who I was based on my name, and should have already known I missed the confirmation email and therefore my table was no longer held for me. However, he still interrogated me at the door for my name and why I used a foreign name, my email, my phone number. He also said "we sent you many emails, open your email, see?" and made me open up my email then and there to show him, which I thought were all unnecessary when he could have just told me my reservation was no longer valid due to me not confirming with them the day before. Good price for food sure, but terrible attitude especially from somewhere like Japan.
