Fukutatei Steak, first dinner in #osaka #japan and it did not disappoint. It is not an exaggeration to say that once you eat #meat in Japan there is no meat elsewhere that would satisfy you. The #steak #sandwich was insanely good.

Absolutely amazing dinner! The kiln style of cooking is so interesting and it was so fun to watch the chef. He was extremely kind and and answered all of our questions. Best steak I have ever had (and probably will ever have)!

Incredible one-of-a-kind steak course meal. The head chef is ambitious, kind, and skilfull. Do not miss the wagyu sandwich. The restaurant is deserving of its high status and stars.

ENGLISH REVIEW - We found this restaurant via a blogger who said it was the best steak they'd ever had and I have to agree, it was an incredible experience which will stick in my mind for some time... The steaks are cooked in a kiln oven which is new to me, the chef was friendly, chatty and cordial. Service was perfect, nothing was too much trouble. Finding the restaurant wasn't easy which isn't unusual in Japan since it's a sea of restaurants most of the time, lucky for us a Google Maps review had some photos directing us though I've taking some better ones to assist also. Do yourself a favour and give it a try. It's not cheap but it's definitely worth it, you only live once! Thank you chef Hiroshi for a wonderful dinner experience!

We booked on tabelog. I'm sure you all know this restaurant may be hard to secure a reservation. While it was my fault I misssed the confirmation email sent to me on the previous day, when I arrived at the restaurant, the reception staff had the most terrible attitude. He knew who I was based on my name, and should have already known I missed the confirmation email and therefore my table was no longer held for me. However, he still interrogated me at the door for my name and why I used a foreign name, my email, my phone number. He also said "we sent you many emails, open your email, see?" and made me open up my email then and there to show him, which I thought were all unnecessary when he could have just told me my reservation was no longer valid due to me not confirming with them the day before. Good price for food sure, but terrible attitude especially from somewhere like Japan.
