A Guide to the Ultimate Staycation in Portland’s Old Town-Chinatown | Eater Portland

"I made a reservation ahead of time for Lechon, a wood-fired South American restaurant down by the waterfront; in the warmly lit dining room anchored by eye-catching aquariums filled with undulating jellyfish I sat down for dishes inspired by the Patagonia region and Peru, including pastel de choclo and lomo saltado." - Janey Wong

Great food, drinks and service! We only ordered the vegetarian pizza and lava cake dessert to eat but they were both really good. We had a few of their non-alcoholic drinks and they were amazing. Also, the potato chips they provide at the beginning with a little spicy sauce are awesome.

The ambience is very beautiful! The price is also okay and the yhe food is delicious. Highly recommend. And our server, Percy, was very attentive and kind enough to recommend dishes!

We had a great experience here with service and the view of the river was gorgeous. We really enjoyed the drinks we ordered - highly recommend the trilogy and Josefina drinks (non alcoholic). 4 stars because I truly think the menu is overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area and I think the alpaca didn't taste as good as other restaurants I've been too (had a bit of aftertaste when other restaurants did not).

This restaurant was slightly upscale in terms of decor, ambiance, and food. We were running out of chances to try cuy, and this place came recommended The staff were very friendly and helpful. When our meal arrived, a chef came out and explained the preparation process, and they basically flambéed the entire dish and then cut it up for us We received complimentary little rolls and butter, which were tasty. The meal itself was delightful, but the experience was even better

On September, 2025, we got the pleasure to eat at Full House restaurant. At the restaurant, Ada was our waitress. She made sure to address all our menu questions and suggested few Peruvian plates we were not aware off. The atmosphere during our dinner was perfect, since it took place in a table by the window with river views. To eat, we order a ceviche entry to open our appetite, followed by ‘El Camino del Inca’ plate and ‘Alpaca a la Brasa, which they both were delicious. For dessert, we got a maracuyá cheesecake, that perfectly closed our dinner. To summarize, if you are in Aguascalientes and you are looking for an authentic, nice and reliable place to eat, go to the Full House!

Went there with family while on vacation; it was wonderful. The staff were very kind and patient with us especially our server Christopher, and the food made was absolutely amazing. My Fiancee’s and my first time trying guinea pig and we completely loved it. The food was a wonderful quality, the plates were beautifully made, I felt a little under proper to be eating there actually. Overall? amazing

Beautiful views and surprising space. You'll want a window seat so go upstairs if they're full (most people don't seem to know there's another level). Host was friendly. Drink was delicious and everything was beautiful presented. And my vegan meal was unlike anything I've tasted, but delicious flavours!

Had an amazing lunch with my fam on vacation here! Cristofer was great help and had nice service and got us a window seat! The food was great and had Guinea pig for the first time, would recommend. There was also lemonade on the house which paired well.
