This was my first time at Full Moon Thai, and although I enjoyed it, I cannot say I had a faultless experience.
To be fair, I had come as part of a very large group, so I want to acknowledge that this would likely strain the staff. However, the service I experienced left something to be desired. We had originally ordered the chicken pad thai, but we were served the surprise pad thai, which has different noodles and protein. When we told the waitress, we were not met with a very hospitable response--she essentially told us that it was what we ordered, and that the kitchen staff already made it, so she couldn't just take it back. I found this response, along with her agitated tone, to be somewhat off-putting, especially since we definitely did not order it incorrectly. After a little back and forth, she eventually did exchange it for the correct dish.
Besides this little mishap, the food itself was rather good, and it definitely hits the spot. The portion sizes were also great. I recommend ordering as a group so that you can try different dishes and flavors. We had a curry dish, pad thai, and pad see ew. I think I would skip on the curry, but I did like the pad thai.
The restaurant itself is rather small, but they do have inside and outside seating. If going as a big group, I definitely recommend calling ahead to RSVP. I would describe the ambiance as cozy and intimate.
Overall, a pretty solid restaurant! The service initially left a bad taste, but the food made up for most of that!
