"While Oregon’s reputation as a beer destination is now cemented, this independent brewery was one of the first microbreweries to come along and successfully set up shop. Established in 1987, the initial line-up of ambers, goldens, winter ales, and porters have now expanded to include IPAs and stouts. The hillside brewery and pub, which offers elevated views of windsurfers and kite-boarders on the river, has rotating draft selections, tasty pub standbys like mac and cheese made with Sesión Cerveza Gouda cheese, and beer to-go. Its water and energy-saving practices have also earned Full Sail distinctions as one of Oregon’s most sustainable breweries." - Zoe Baillargeon, Molly Allen

Google
This is our go-to spot anytime we are in the Columbia River Gorge area. And the salmon fish and chips are my go-to meal! Especially after a day of hiking. And the sweet potato waffle fries- yum! Tap list is great too, lots of options for anyone. Vibes are great too. Service was friendly and our food came out quick. They are efficient and we always love coming back here. Sit outside on their patio for even better views of the water on a nice day! Lots of street parking a huge lot across the street from it too.

Google
Absolutely amazing! No wait time. I had the Salmon Fish and chips and they are the best i have ever had!! Every sauce was house made and great! And of course fantastic beer. Do yourself a favor and stop here!

Google
Had Cervesa Mac and Cheese with Chicken and Bacon Jam. Delish. Tried an IPA and a Beer on tap and will return again. Great views.

23.5 years ago was my first date with my wife at Full Sail. She drank dark beer. I knew she was a keeper. Speaking of keeper, I hope they keep the fish (salmon) and chips. I love their tartar sauce. The caprese sandwich is a great selection for those who need a vegan or vegetarian option. Full Sail is a great spot when you are at the windsurfing capitol of the world! Enjoy.

Google
Food was amazing, came out fast and hot. Best french fries. Everything was fantastic except for the staff. They were not friendly at all or engaging. That was the only thing that was off but everything else was wonderful and their attentiveness was stellar, just not friendly.

Google
Can never recommend the fried pickles enough! The food is pretty good especially for big groups. Lost a star simply because last time I ordered take out it took 35 minutes for one Reuben sandwich even though the restaurant only had a couple customers, the staff was very kind about the situation and checked in often, the wait was just slightly disappointing.

Google
Really enjoyed the beer. The sail ship to hold the tasters was a nice touch. The service was solid. The food was disappointing the Mac and cheese was Luke warm, the chicken overcooked and the burger was good. Lots of cute merchandise for purchase.

Google
It's very good and simple all the way around. Food is good. Service is good. Atmosphere is nice.

Yelp
The beer and food was great! We had one of our best meals here on our week-long vacation in Oregon. We had a chicken caprese sandwich and a burger. Try this restaurant out!

Buzzy B.

Yelp
Love this place! Whenever we come to Hood River we stop here. Great view from the tiny outside deck, friendly, super quick service and fresh great tasting food. They only serve beer, wine and one cider (which was dry but great tasting!)

Stephanie F.

Yelp
The service was pretty much non-existent. Just stopped in for a beer and took forever. I saw a lady at the table next to ours try to flag down several waitresses; one saw her and turned and walked away. Nobody even came back for quite sometime. Pretty rude. Beer wasn't as good as others I've had in the area, but that's ll personal preference. I can't rate the food because we didn't eat there.

Sam E.

Yelp
Nice large brew pub with fresh beer, friendly service and a patio to enjoy a bit of a view. While the food isn't anything spectacular, it's a perfect partner to the beer that the brewery specializes in. My only wish is that the patio was a bit bigger as it has a great view but is quite small and humid. No biggie!

Roger B.

Yelp
Getting in the waterfront beer joints was impossible so we made it here. I've been to them all Full Sail has consistently been a good time. I have been here when there was a crazy wait but not this time. Had a delicious new IPA not yet on the board. A bit more in the malty side. Got the bucket o fries which we killed. We sat at the bar so wasn't there for the view but had a nice chat with the bartender. Everyone was friendly. I will be back and will likely grab some merch to add to my collection.

Yelp
Kale Ceasar salad is to die for. Seriously. The turkey sandwich was good enough, but didn't pack the same punch. Stopped in for dinner on a road trip, overall a solid place.

Nicole Y.

Yelp
What a great way to kick off our trip to Bend! We stopped in for lunch after our adventures at the Mt. Hood Railroad. The views and brews were endless and we truly enjoyed the food, ambiance and service. We ordered and enjoyed- Session premium lager Cervesa Mac and cheese Swiss and mushroom burger with bacon I'm glad we shared as the portions are large! Very enjoyable meal and we will definitely stop by soon when we're in the area.

Mark G.

Yelp
Lunch stop on our exploration of the Columbia River gorge. A full service, operating brewery on the river. We sat outside with a view. We were told their speciality is Salmon Fish & Chips which we ordered. The salmon was wonderful and fish was crispy on the outside and moist inside. A couple of pints of local beer were ordered. Light and refreshing . A worthwhile stop. Mark & Nancy. Mark & Nancy.

Yelp
This place is definitely the spot to be if you're looking for pub food and a great view on a nice spring or summer day. Great local brews and it's locally sourced in a very clean way that helps everybody around in the community. So they're really staying local. I highly recommend stopping by here and trying their food, especially the deep-fried pickles which are huge and grabbing a brew.

Del K.

Yelp
The service was great, so lets start there (and the reason its not a 1 star review). The food, however, was overall sad. The fries were the best part of my meal (the basic cheese burger with bacon) . The burger, which I asked for medium rare was luke warm in the middle and severely lacked seasoning. I will not be back.

WW T.

Yelp
I had an excellent beer and cheeseburger after a day of windsurfing with my buddy. The service was great, and the atmosphere looked amazing over the Columbia Gorge.

Tony B.

Yelp
FUN BREWHOUSE BAR AND RESTAURANT. Get a flight of exciting and diverse-tasting beers. It is served on a sail-themed display! The service is warm and friendly, and the staff will make you feel welcome and comfortable. Food is good, too, Standard pub fare, but frankly, it's the beer. It is sooooo good. Don't miss out on this brewhouse restaurant next time you're in the Hood Canal neighborhood!

Teresa B.

Yelp
Have the Mac n' cheese. Comfort in bowl. The Rye oh Rye beer was excellent. Service was good. Fun place

Brook H.

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town. We ordered the Mac and Cheese and added roasted garlic and bacon. The menu advertised this as having "panko bread crumbs". The dish was served luke-warm, almost cold. We had to send it back! It did not have any bread crumbs on it. When the dish was "remade" (we think they just microwaved it) they said they put it back in the skillet (after we each took a bite?---that's against health code). The "new dish" looked just like the old dish but this time it was a little warmer (but not hot) and had regular bread crumbs dusted on top, NOT Panko breadcrumbs as advertised on the menu. It tasked like they were using Mac and Cheese that was made last week--the sauce was stiff and not flavorful. My partner ordered the Salmon fish and chips. She also had to send this back because the Salmon still had the skin on it. My partner is a gourmet chef for over 20 years and a cook book author. They were nice enough to not charge for the Fish and Chips or the terrible soup. My partner ordered the beer cheese soup, which had zero flavor and seemed like they just added water to make their soup last longer. It was the consistency of water with no cheese flavor. This place is a joke! The hotel omelets I just ate with Tobasco sauce tasted 100 times better than this place. You are paying elevated pub fair prices for very unelevated food that is not cooked according to health code standards and doesn't even match the menu description. Beware!

Jeannette T.

Yelp
The food was phenomenal! Beer cheese soup with the incredible pretzels,, chefs kiss! Salmon fish & chips, cheeseburger, tuna wrap, buffalo chicken tenders, mini pork sliders AMAZING! To throw your taste buds over the edge of goodness had the beer float OMG! Definitely a stop in downtown Hood River!

Alex V.

Yelp
Beer was great, salad was a little dry but service was quick to get more dressing. Merch in the front is cool and well priced. Great location and view as well

Sarah B.

Yelp
We stopped by while we were in town and I'm glad we did! Service was quick, drinks were cold, place was clean and the view was nice. We had already eaten before coming so I can't say much about their food but the fries were good!

Robert J.

Yelp
Stopped in for a St Patty's day pint and when looking at Full Sail's extensive beer menu was drawn to their 10oz barrel bourbon aged porter. Followed that with a tasty classic Reuben sandwich and a Mad Hatter Black Lager. So glad stopped. Great brews and service in a clean atmosphere.

Terri S.

Yelp
Brews and pub food with a view. We shared a caesar salad and the salmon fish and chips along with a Top Sail IPA! Great mid day break from our hiking travels.

Amanda D.

Yelp
Great beer! Wonderful ambiance. Service was great! The view is spectacular' I love watching the wind surfers and parasailing.

Leo Y.

Yelp
My doctor recently told me to start eating more fish, and I've been avoiding farmed fish, so when I found out that the fish used for the salmon fish & chips was non other than wild caught sockeye salmon, I knew that I couldn't pass it by. The batter was beautiful; crisp, thin, delicious, and perfectly complimented the fish. French fries were top notch, crunchy on the outside, melting on the inside, with great flavor. Cole slaw was a generous portion, and with just the right amount of dressing, and the tartar sauce was tasty with a decent sized pour. Views were top notch from the spacious, naturally lit bar, and service was on point. Good selection of craft brews and hard kombucha. I heard that nonalcoholic combucha is coming soon.

Yelp
I always pick Full Sail when I come thoroughly Hood and I love the brewery down below on the river front, but Full Sail hits the spot. Solid beers and gooood food, a can't miss. In the Summer, the deck has killer views of the Columbia, it was a bit on the snowy side. Service was great.

Christina I.

Yelp
This brewery was very nice. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We loved our server. She was very fast and accommodating. I have multiple food allergies so she was super helpful in picking something to eat. The food was great too. Would recommend to anyone! The view was great too!

James H.

Yelp
Beer is good. Happy hour menu is a rip. Bucket of fries half full and Buffalo chicken strips was 2 little strips for $8.

Willie A.

Yelp
Had the pub wings ($16 for 9) and the salmon fish and chips. Wings were so overcooked and chewy that they were nearly inedible. Fried salmon was very good and moist with an excellent sauce. Fries were OK as was the service. It was an OK experience, I probably wouldn't return.

Brent K.

Yelp
solid solid solid. Had salmon fish and chips. No lie. Legit. Not as fresh as they've oils have been since salmon were jumping out of the Columbia and fresh was an option ( they chose a frozen pacific NW but still not bad) fries were delicious for me and this most amazing ginger lemon grass lager. Ku

Yelp
With beautiful unobstructed views of the beautiful Columbia River, I often take out of town and out of state visitors to Full SaIl Brewery so they can enjoy great beers on tap and take in the magnificence of the Gorge. Pub menu has something for everyone. You can get juicy burgers, fish & chips, Buffalo wings, mac & cheese plus soups and sandwiches. They are famous for their beer cheese soup. Oh, and salads, too! Interior is open and spacious and has a simple industrial vibe. Also a great bar area and we often eat there. But if the weather is nice and the outdoor patio is open, that's where I'm sitting! The deck is large and overlooks the river and windsurfers. Depending on time of year, like a summer weekend, this place can get busy so know that going in. Servers work hard to get orders out and keep everyone satisfied.

D R.

Yelp
Good place to eat. Ambience is great. Food was very good. Service was excellent. Will return

Katy H.

Yelp
This is a favorite of ours to visit every time we're in town. A HAPPY PUB ATMOSPHERE. Expect to wait a little bit for a seat but they'll text when it's ready. We snagged a table outside which is set up to really be a nice time outdoors even with a road in between you and the river. Everyone here always seems to be in a good mood and the service is consistently great. AMAZING FOOD ALL AROUND. You can get drinks anywhere in town. You can't get food this good. We started with the pretzel appetizer which has such a flavorful garlic butter I began salivating at first bite. The caprese sandwich was spot on with each ingredient working perfectly under the yummy pesto. The burger was another hit with particularly good caramel onions. Also a shout out to the fries which had a near perfect crisp with a chewy center. Chances are if you tell someone you were in Hood River they'll ask if you went to Full Sail. So you probably should.

JT T.

Yelp
Average beer, average pub food. This brewery is the kind that, in my opinion, teeters out of craft and into macro, as they produce the Session(TM) bottles that are very widely distributed and consumed. Servers were friendly and helpful. Best part was the view of the river from the patio. Overall it's a convenient stop if in Hood River.

Mitch K.

Yelp
Not the cozy little intimate pub you might have in your mind, but a large, open, busy pub with a pretty adequate bar food menu. And, being a pub, they offer lots, and lots of beers and ciders. Went with son's kite surfing family and liked it. There are some booths to sit 4 - 6 people, but mostly plenty of tables, in fact, a sea of tables. Wait staff is very accommodating and serve as brew assistants to you as you try to fathom which of the many beers you might want to try. They will bring you small samples of which ever beers they are currently offering. That menu changes on a regular basis. Food: Chips, fries, hummus and wings for appetizers. Soup and salad, to include. Beer Soup (of course). Burgers and sandwiches and some desserts. Pacific Northwest? Salmon fish and chips and Cerveza Mac 'n Cheese. Clean and clean restrooms. If decent weather, outdoor seating and a nice fenced in deck. Views across the valley. Nice place and nice servers.

Hannah R.

Yelp
Amazing views, delicious food + beer and incredible customer service. Overlooks the river. Great happy hour Sundays 6 to close too! The house salad and fried pickles and hummus plate are delicious.

Mike I.

Yelp
Burger and fries was great. Friendly service. The chipotle dip I used for the fries was tasty. I did not have a beer this time, so I can't speak to that.

Garett S.

Yelp
Only reason I'm giving it a 4 is we had a bit of a wait when there were open tables outside, but the food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. We ate on the patio and the view of the river was awesome during dinner and very relaxed. I had the turkey club with jalapeño's, which was tremendous and my friends got the burger, mac and cheese, and fish and chips respectively and were all very happy with their choices. I would definitely recommend this place! Dope merch as well copped a hat on the way out!

Gina K.

Yelp
Food and beer were fine but definitely other breweries in the area that have better of both. Out of everything we got the wings were the best but were a little too spicy for me. We got a flight in order to try a variety of beers. The only beer that really stood out was their bourbon imperial porter. The Thai chicken wrap was basic and the sauce wasn't evenly distributed so, you would get bites with sauce and other were dry because there was not sauce.

Jerry C.

Yelp
Great brewery with excellent beer. Menus items where plentiful our food was great. It can be a busy place. We sat out side on the balcony. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for a table but no big deal because they send you a text message when your table is ready. Don't forget to buy some beer to take home as they sale it to go!

Jessica N.

Yelp
Really cute heated patio with a great view. We ordered the salmon fish n chips and the beer cheddar soup. Service was fast and friendly. Try the jalapeño beer.

Krissy H.

Yelp
Amazing service Nelly was the best!!!!! we are from out of town she took the time to tell us where and what to do she was super sweet and had great recommendation for the beer here as well . We really enjoyed our selfs here thanks to friendly happy service

Tony H.

Yelp
The one brewery during my visit to Oregon that we actual came to for lunch, they Full Sail has great burgers, delicious fried pickles pears, and some pretty good Mac n Cheese. Unfortunately when I came they didn't have beer flights available but the two beers I tried (hazy ipa & a double ipa) were pretty solid beers. They also carry hard kombucha & seltzer's for the non beer drinkers. The brewery is in a great location in Mount Hood with lots of nearby street parking. We were hoping to get a seat out on the patio so we could have a nice view of the Columbia river, but with limited seating cause of the Rona we chose first available and got stuck eating inside like civilized people. We were told 30 minutes wait time for a table, so after putting our name down we took a walk down the street to check out the other brewery (I forgot the name) and literally within maybe 5 minutes we were called for our table. So I'm assuming they give worst case estimates for seating, but if you're more I a mood for checking out beer in the area there's at least 2 spots in this area to check out that I saw.

Meegs N.

Yelp
What an awesome experience! Randommly decided to hit the Pub on our road trip at happy hour & they did not disappoint. Got the 6 5oz flight, salmon fish & chips plus HH salad, Mac & cheese and the pretzel & cheese soup. Everything was great & recommendable! Service was spot on. We would come back.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Great burgers! Loved the view and the beer and friendly staff. After a 1/2 marathon I love a beer and burger and this was perfect. Too hot to sit outside. Inside had great views of the river. Only 2 tv's playing espn and we wanted Olympics but all ok.

D G.

Yelp
Great view. Had a good hearty hamburger and beer. I really liked the Helles. Service was okay from the bartender since we sat at a hightop.

H.T. M.

Yelp
Beautiful view, great beer and very good food. We had a couple of house salads, the cerveza mac and cheese and salmon fish and chips. Great selection and great service.

Richard C.

Yelp
WOW! I was beyond surprised at the quality of the food, the above average brewing, and the reactiveness of the staff. This place is a mandatory stop if your in town.

Jo D.

Yelp
Stopped on a Wednesday for lunch and it wasn't busy. Got a seat on the patio and must say they built that perfectly! The wind the day that we stopped was brutal, but the patio was set far enough back that you wouldn't even have known. Nice view of the river. Nothing breathtaking or picturesque, but nice. Ordered the Slipknot IPA and will say that it was incredibly crisp and drinkable. Loved it. For lunch I ordered the Caesar salad with Tofu. Our server, Emily, said that she was a vegetarian and vouched for the quality and preparation of the tofu. I absolutely abhor tofu that isn't fried or baked because of the texture. This tofu was perfectly fried, not greasy whatsoever. From the beer, to the service, food, and seating I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Susanne G.

Yelp
Great place to eat, drink and take a break on the way to the coast! I recommend the salmon and chips and any of their hamburgers , quite delicious. The staff is excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Brianna H.

Yelp
YUM! Amazing food, beer, and service. What else can you ask for. Kiddos allowed in. Beer canned to go. Drop by! We're from Idaho just passing through, glad we did.

Larry R.

Yelp
Great beer, great food, great service and a fantastic view of the river. A true Hood River tradition.

Mark J.

Yelp
Had a great meal on the patio with a beautiful view of the Mighty Columbia. The chicken pot pie was perfect for a lighter lunch option (not too much food). And the beer is always great!
