I lived by this place for about 3 years, and moved to New York City about 8 years ago. I went back today, and it's almost exactly the same, the quality of the food's great, the service is quick and fast, and price is always good! Thanks for that blast from the past, happy to see they're still doing well.

The food is okay not bad but they give you small portions of food but the price higher then others

This place has been here for decades and I can't understand why their food is still bland and the gravy is ALWAYS watered down. I will never go back even in desperate times bc that's why I went in. It was getting late and I had just arrived from the airport...I will never make this mistake again. It's literally a whole in the wall. So sad.

Pretty good carry out. Really quick. A little cluttered looking on the inside. Not pleasing to the eye on the outside as far as appearance. Good good tho. There is a $10 card minimum for those of you who are card users. They do have an atm inside for convenience.

This place has been a great staple. Survived the gentrification and COVID. I hope they continue to stand and do well. The food is superb. I have not had a bad experience from here ever out of the 4 years I left the DMV, i came back and this place never changed. It's nostalgia for those of us who grew up here. An update - 2023 They've been burning the shrimp egg foo yung a lot lately. So I wouldn't recommend getting that dish anymore. It used to be the best in the area and I always try to tip. But they went as far as to telling me they were out of the dish because i asked them not to burn it this time. The food has become subpar with some dishes. I hope they can get back to what they used to be. It was the place I sent many of people to go. I'll update again in a few weeks. Update - December 2023 The food is back on par. Not sure how consistent it is but this was really good this time. 10/10 on the singapore noodle (mild) 10/10 on the steam veggies with shrimp.

The lady at counter highly disrespectful. Placed order and asked for extra ketchup she responded in A loud rude tone and threw the ketchup at me . And stated that I needed to pay more ? Asked why and she began cursing me in her language . Will never shop here again.

We wanted a quick meal to take back to our Airbnb in the DC area. Reviews of the place seemed ok. We knew that it was pretty much take out only. There were a couple of tables but I don't think they were for eating in. I liked that they had some different food than the Chinese places we were used to. The problem was that the food didn't have much flavor. We had a variety of food. Everything from Hunan beef to orange chicken to the hot and sour soup. They even got one of our orders wrong. This place might be a popular take out spot but it is only average. I am sure some items may be really good but not so much ours. And the Mombo sauce is different and unique. But it might be an acquired taste.

I don't order take out often, but when I do, this is where I Igo. I usually order the lunch special which is in effect until 3pm. I mostly order vegetable egg foo young and it's always good. Also the hot & sour soup is always good too.
