This place is a gem in Brooklyn. My friend and I are big bills fans, and Diana and Mike are buffalo to the bone. They offer a nice warm welcome and are very good hosts, bartender was on point. Love the western NY themes

What a great place! I was meeting a couple of people from my Reddit group. The atmosphere the beer and ale selections were perfect. And Mike the bartender is THE BEST. I I immediately felt at home . Seems like such a great guy. I don’t go to bars often but if I did this would be my regular go to place 100%

Blatant Racism and Discrimination at Fulton Ale House I recently had an appalling experience at Fulton Ale House that reeked of blatant racism and discrimination against people of color. Upon arriving before the Champions League game started, I was simply waiting for friends at the bar when the owner, a white woman, aggressively approached me and the gentleman of color sitting beside me. She rudely demanded that we immediately purchase drinks and not just "sit around", despite not making similar demands of the white patrons who had been sitting longer without drinks. It was clear we were being singled out solely due to the color of our skin. This was an outright racist attack masked as a policy that was only being enforced against the minority customers present. The discrimination continued even after my friends arrived and we had purchased four drinks. The bartender then began screaming at us that we couldn't watch the game for "free", again treating us completely differently than the white patrons. The staff's hostile, aggressive, and demeaning behavior towards us as people of color was absolutely unacceptable and inexcusable. We were clearly profiled and discriminated against based on race from the moment we entered the establishment. I would urge anyone who believes in equality and has zero tolerance for racism to avoid Fulton Ale House at all costs. Support businesses that treat all customers with dignity and respect regardless of skin color. Racist policies and behavior like this should not be tolerated or enabled.

Great vibe. Perfect for watching premier league + NFL + well any sports. Man City sucks.

This place is my jam. Not only is it the coolest Bills bar in the city, but it has the best owners and employees. Mike & Diana have been so kind, generous and amazing to get to know. As well as Sam! What a gem of a human. I love coming into the bar for bills games of course! Go bills! But also to just hang around for a wonderful neighborhood atmosphere. Their hot dogs are wonderful & their beer list is unmatched. Go check them out if you’re in the area :)

My boyfriend and I loved this place! We made friends with all the staff there. The drinks are amazing and the place is very chill with a super nice backyard! They also make delicious food. Highly recommend!

Love this place! The owners are super nice and friendly and are often hanging out at the bar- great spot that’s inclusive for the whole neighborhood, not just the gentrification-set. Good tap list too! Always a great spot to watch a game, or check out live jazz on sunday nights!

Fulton Ale House is a cool new spot with a solid beer selection and decent communal seating. Great happy hour specials - all draughts were $5.

Pizza can hold you down. This is not a food spot Service is on point.This bar can and does get super busy, but the staff, bartenders are on point. I love the ambiance, beautiful dark wood,great drink specials,and a great vibe. You want a sports bar!!!!! This is it!!!! Buffalo Bills Bar !!!!

My friends love hanging here, and I decided to come by one night for trivia. It has a Brooklyn version of Cheers, with many regulars quipping up with inside jokes in unison. As comical as it was to watch, the first 15 minutes in the space took me back to the reviews of cold service. I was mostly ignored until my presence was verified by some regulars buying me rounds and authentic conversations. It seems like a cool whiskey club with drinks and a few items to nosh. Maybe a lot of folks come in for the bathroom or something. Go figure. Now. The rest of the experience was great. An amazing selection of whiskey, as well as other spirits ordinarily, is not in this area. The pizzas are pretty decent as well. I had the peppers and onion variety, and it was tasty. I'm sure I'll return as there are a few theme nights and great specials.

First of All, the ambiance is great. The low lights and classic wood furnishings give the place a warm feel. There is also many TVs if you like sports and want to watch the Knicks game. ..lol ! It's not that big of a place, so come early. Besides that, the prices are decent and the customer service was great. I didn't ask for a menu but I guess they have limited options. The pizza tasted good, it wasn't overpowering. ENDLESS OPTIONS OF BEER AND DRINKS :-) Other than that, the music selection was pretty chill... quite diverse in a indie - pop- 70s funk kinda way. Nothing too millennial. Besides, the speakers blaring, you can hear your guest across the table. Anyways, it's a gem. Chill spots like this, on this side of Brooklyn, is rare. So, I hope this bar is here to stay.

Love the feel of this place when you walk in. I love a bar that has that real bar feeling. The wooden bar with wooden stool to match. Small but not stuffy small. I came in to watch the playoff game, great place to watch sports. I know places bigger than this with barely enough tvs. Fulton Ale House has a lot of tvs and big. I found myself in Brooklyn because I had a friend in town that was staying close by this spot. So we randomly picked it out and it turned out to be a great spot. The beer wow the list would make any beer lover blush. I tried a new IPA and all I remember is the first part of the name -Sci-Fi. This is a great balanced IPA ABV 7% which is perfect. All in all so happy I stumbled upon this place, even though it's 45 mins I will be back! Several times! Thanks Mike!

Drinks/beers are alright, prices are within reason, and the location is great. A modern pub with enough screens to find something to watch. Just on that, they'd get at least 4 stars. However, the 2 stars is due to the management/service. I've been here a few times and every time, I leave with the feeling I was treated "differently". So far, I'd put it on inexperienced bartenders or just the culture at this particular pub. (And you know, I attended an Ivy League school so I've been on both sides of intentional and unintentional micro aggressions and can usually tell which is which...) But then, I came to check the reviews, and indeed, I have not been the only patron to feel this way. And the worst part is that the owners just double down... it's really sad because it's a pretty nice locale otherwise. This review is not to hold the owners accountable as that won't be possible (they have enough YT clientele to keep them in business) but rather, to dissuade anyone who doesn't like to be treated differently from patronizing this business.

Nice bar. Order 4 beers. Was bar hopping with my friends. We enjoyed ourselves. Service was great. We didn't wait long for our beers

Hey Mike I understand loyalty and that explanation would have been great at the moment . "Hey guys these seats are for our regulars . The game is about to end and I'm sure we will be able to get you seated at the bar , where are you guys from !?" See how much nicer that it is then " they will be " and being dismissed lol but nice attempt to clean it up .its simple be nice be welcoming.. I heard your stories before again I've been there a few times. I've witnessed that woman behind the bar not be kind before. Her saying "they will be " and looking at us like now get out my face and a gentleman at the bar saying "damn they are bills fans " a statement I can only assume was because of the way she said it and handled us . I appreciate your explanation and again I am very familiar with loyalty .. applaud it honestly , but I'm also familiar with CUSTOMER SERVICE that keeps people coming back I promise .

Came here during the World Cup games. It was my first time visiting this bar. There was a $20 bar minimum per person during the games. The bar had a great lively atmosphere. The bar doesn't really serve food (I saw them warming up frozen pizzas) but you are also not allowed to bring food in. Even though this called Ale House to my surprise they have a completely fully stocked bar.

I am huge fan of bars and sports too. They let me sit and watch sports like football and having drinks on the side too.

Unsafe. Unkind. Uninviting. Ole' Saint Nic looking barkeep put on his micro aggressing body of armor last night.. The story: we met at this locations with a handful of ladies to celebrate a birthday. The birthday girl isn't a big drinker so our requests were basic. Bottled beer, white, cocktails listed on the menu. The bar had about 5 other patrons present, but for some reason it took Santa forever to make our drinks, and then the alcohol served was made in a way that made the drinks undrinkable. No ice really for chilled beverages. No mixes for the mixed beverages. I literately could not drink what was ordered. I felt like I was served ever clear. This place is also located doors down from a wonderful French Fry spot (Spuds) from which we ordered and brought into the bar. After serving our drinks and closing our tabs, the bartender tells us no outside food... while we are eating and after we've set up at a full table. His explanation was that they serve food.. meanwhile.. there were no food menus in sight and no kitchen.. and no offerings of such. After telling the keep we'd finish our drinks at leave, he somehow had so much time to stand at the end of the bar where we were, and stare us down. I don't think he served anyone for a full 15 minutes or so because he was posturing like a peacock. At this point in time we weren't eating, our boxes of food were closed and bagged. He was literally trying to make our group feel uncomfortable and threatened. One member of our party politely asked him why he was postering so.. he confirmed indeed he'd been leaning on the bar in our direction for 15 minutes.. but that was due to his arthritis... The only thing that set us apart from the other patrons.. was our demographic. If you want a good drink. This isn't the place. I'd you want to feel safe and respected, I suggest any other place on the same block. Will never go back. Wish we had our money returned for the awful drinks and service. Will share this review with the local BBB and Chamber.

This is a very nice place cool and laid back. I went here and met some very interesting people who were cool and easy to vibe with.I would suggest anyone stopping in from out of town to drop by Fulton ale house you will truly enjoy your experience at this wonderful establishment.

Came here for drinks and links on a Tuesday night after a long day of work. The bar wasn't crowded. I was able to enjoy beer at happy hour prices. This bar is remarkable chill, ideal for catching up with friends and going on a date. There are also several games for you to play as you sip slow. There's chess, darts, and other board games. The bartender was also friendly and attentive. Definitely a great sports bar and an Amazing addition to Bed Stuy.

This was one of the stops on our Bedstuy walking tour. It was a nice size bar with seating in the back. I was there on a Saturday and had a refreshing and tart gimlet. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. It's a chill vibe. They have TV's so you can watch sports. I focused on the drink menu but I thing they also serve food. If you're in the area; stop in, sit down, have a drink and relax.

I don't get what's up with the negative comments. Idk if its the neighborhood but its weirdly hard to find a decent bar and this is probably one of my favorites that isn't too far from where I live. Great playlist, and awesome beer selection. It has everything a bar should be and there's nothing wrong with that. Good place good vibes. kinda loud at times! They don't have the popular liquors or beers such as Hennessy patron Coronas Heinekens etc they supply the alternative to those drinks but other than that the place is cool and the ppl are friendly well the staff. Again it's gets loud cause there is always a loud drunk in there walking around talking about nothing

I finally was able to stop by Fulton Ale House, formed by the co-workers (Mike and Diane) from my neighborhood bar, Highbury Pub. The bar is fantastic, it looks great, with exposed brick and wood accents thanks to one of the designers Diane. It is a welcoming spot in an area of Brooklyn undergoing gentrification, but they have made all the efforts to ease themselves in the neighborhood and they are welcoming and accommodating to all patrons in the neighborhood. I need to come back on a Sunday during their Jazz night and their busier nights which I am told has a much eclectic and inclusive crowd. It is a great spot to bring someone, or to just hang solo watching a game in one their 5 screens.

I have sort of liked going here until today. It has been hard to figure out this place. The owner (I am assuming) has always been extremely rude. She always has so many rules when you walk in that you are already kind of put off but have always just let it go because there aren't many pubs in the area. The experience today though has now solidified that I will never ever patronize the bar again. We have taken our dogs to the back area many times and never has anything been said to us or turned away unless the bar was very busy. Today for some reason, it was an attack day. As soon as I walked in, the bartender and the owner were completely nasty to me. I was grouped into "everyone" just walking into the bar thinking they can bring their dogs in. I am not that person and would never just assume that I could do that if I did not have past history with having it be okay. If it had not been for the extremely nasty tone from both of them from the onset, I would have probably let it go but there is absolutely no excuse for that. Good riddance!

Let me count the ways. I'm so glad to have a real bar in my neighborhood. I'm not really into "the sports" but it's nice to come and watch the men watch the game. The bartender on Wednesday has an amazing playlist; house, reggae, R&B, samba et al and he taught me how to play darts!! See the pic of my bullseye! A great neighborhood spot near the train and the best thing?? They let you bring in food from outside!! A great place to meet neighborhood folks and get a great drink!!

Love love love this place! Can't say enough good things about the owners, bartenders, drinks/munchies, and overall vibe. One of my absolute favorite places to unwind and have a good beer.

This pub rocks!!!! So friendly and Mike the bartender is a gem !! I came in here on vacation to watch the Yankees on tv and the vibe here was so friendly!!! So glad I took the time to walk here.

This review is a bit odd since I didn't actually eat or drink in the establishment. The inside is nice - nothing major to gawk about, but what threw me off was how "out of" everything they were. They had listed beers on yelp but didn't have any of them in stock. The bartender told us he had the drink menu but only at the end of the bar. He then told us the patio was under construction. So, there was that too. Overall it felt laid back but lacking. Probably a nice place to go for a quick drink. Will update IF and only IF the patio is done.

The beer selection is admirable. Delirium and Victory on tap. Chess boards up for grabs in the front window. Chill bartenders. AND the newly opened backyard is outstanding. An exceptional addition to the neighborhood. Come drink!

Nice place. I have a love hate relationship that you have to order on the touch screen but it literally comes like 2 minutes after you send it in (drinks I mean) not sure about food. Guys next to me we're having wings and cheesesteaks and it looked and smelled delicious. In life before I die I always wanted to randomly give someone a good story and just take food of someone's plate and walk away eating it, I almost took a chicken wing they looked very good. I'll check this place out again if I'm flying out of Terminal 2

I liked the vibe. Missed the $5 happy hour. Had the refreshing SixPoint IPA. Great presentation. Also had Guinness, not properly served... usually glass is tilted to stop foam. RELAXED atmosphere. Board games. Trivia night every Wednesday and you can bring your own food...Nice...I will be back

Came to this bar on a whim. I'm not going to get into some long spiel about how this was the worst bar of the century or how there were white doves flying over our heads as we entered. It's just a Bar to me. You come, you drink and you laugh. Then you open or close tab and head out. I think they had a game night when we entered so that was a little interesting. It was background noise. I suppose it is definitely a community at this bar already established but I also feel like I can get down with it. They had some Hard Cider that I was interested in and the Bartender was honest and helpful about the drinks that he liked and didn't try yet. I appreciate that. He was also very thankful and patient with our indecisiveness. I would return again for sure. My sole reason for not giving it a full 5 stars is I feel like I did not get to experience it in full. I would love to come in at the beginning of a game night. It was a really chill time watching sports, drinking and chatting it up with the guys. That's truly all I think about when I go to a bar and thanks to Fulton Ale House I got to experience it.

Came in for game one of the NBA finals, bar tenders were slow, took 30 minutes to get a drink, and they were also arguing with each other. Wasn't sure if I'd come back but got coaxed into trying it again for game 5... I'm currently here, it's about to be halftime and it's still taking 30 minutes to get a drink. They've also instituted a $20 minimum for everyone (not a cover, but $20 at the bar), which wouldn't be bad if it didn't take forever to get a drink. We asked for 10 Modelos and they were out, they also were stunned we asked for 10 beers like it was an inconvenience. I worked in the bar industry for a long time, and from my experience, this crowd is not nearly big enough to justify these wait times or how unfriendly the service is. When I was in the marines my platoon sgt once told me "try everything twice," well I've tried this place twice and will literally never come back. If it's a slow night, maybe it's worth it for you, but if you're coming to watch a big game, go elsewhere

SOUTHERN TIER "Pumking" Imperial Ale is one of the best seasonal beers I've had period. A great reason to have a visit right now. Bartender is nice, so is the backyard. Lots of tv's for your viewing pleasure. It's the simple things these days!

Love the vibe, atmosphere, and bartender. But - HOT TIP: don't order any food. It comes from the Thai place next door, but isn't yummy Thai food. The fish and chips were awful - and I didn't expect much. I would've been so much more pleased, (that is hard to say, because there's zero to be pleased with in the food department) with a bag of kettle chips or even popcorn to go with my beer. I paid $11 for pure, inedible rubbish. The fries were even gross. How do you mess up fries? Rancid fishy oil, that's how! Please do better, for your own bottom line. People stay and drink more if you have a decent snack to go with your fantastic beer selection.

Fulton Ale House is the newest bar in my area. I'm so pleased and excited to be one of the first to write a favorable review. This week a good friend and I decided to reconnect over a few drinks and how lucky we were to patronize Fulton Ale House which is within a few block of both our houses. We decided to take advantage of the happy hour. We both marveled at the basic beauty of the bars layout. It was clear that it's a new bar and their just getting started. I believe Fulton Ale House will prove to be a keeper. My hope is that the summer will bring about great things and utilization of the backyard patio area. Fulton Ale House has a nice selection of draft beers and your standard top shelf brands. I believe your getting much more then just good drinks at the Fulton Ale House. The staff is warm and friendly, genuinely interested in getting to know it's customers. I appreciate the glass front, I find it to be very welcoming. I noticed other new establishments are doing the same. I'm sure with time and becoming more familiar with the community, the bar will offer even more drink choices and perhaps a few more snack options. I must say, the brick oven pizza went well with my draft Ale. I'll certainly be back soon.

I LOVE this place. It's the best sports bar this side of Atlantic Avenue. I do have to warn you: they are a PRO-Buffalo bar, so on Sundays, the Bills get top billing here. But they do show all other games if you request it. Even still, for a good sporting event, this is cool. To just chill out, come here. Either way: if you're in the neighborhood, looking for a good bar to frequent, COME. HERE.

Finally a bar in eastern BedStuy that feels like a neighborhood hang. Nothing fancy here, just a bar with great personality, owners and roots (Buffalo,NY). You want to feel camaraderie? Come during a Buffalo Bill's game. Great tap list and classic feel. They do a lot to keep their customers coming back.

Bartender, might've been the owner, treated me like I was in his way when asking for a drink. Also received the same feedback from another close friend. I will not be going back.

Came in on a rainy Friday night and had a good time. The playlist was great and every tv had a different game. Great to see so much soccer memorabilia and I'll def be back to watch games. Welcome to the neighborhood.

Beautiful new space, with a backyard coming. Beer selection​ is a nice balance of fancy craft, standard bearers, and imports.

Fulton Ale House is cozy and lively. It houses local brews from NYC. There's couches in the back. Sipped on a Bronx Porter while watching the Cavs vs. Celtics game next to the fire pit in the back - best decision I made all week.

Bartender ignored me and my other black friend (we watched as they served a white couple who came in after us), so we left.

Today I decided to take a break and have a glass of beer at a local Bed Stuy establishment. I left highly offended when it was time for me to pay for my beer. I realized after I ordered the beer that it was a $10 minimum on debit cards. I told the bartender (white guy with a baseball hat husky possibly brown hair) that I will go next door after I finish my beer to withdraw the money for the bill, which was only $5. Before I decided to go next door, the bartender asked me to leave my phone with him in case I do not come back. I was highly offended, and I do not know if it was because of the color of my skin, that he did not believe that I will return to pay for a measly $5 beer. I Proceeded to tell him I will not under any circumstance leave my phone or anything of valuable nature just for a $5 beer. I have never been so embarrassed in my life and I truly believe that it was because I am black and his patrons do not normally look like me. I will never patronize this establishment and it makes me extremely sad and embarrassed along with many other feelings but this has happened to me in my own gentrified neighborhood. All of this for a $5 beer, I mean I work really hard and have a career! To add further insult to injury, I put a paper on top of my beer to indicate that I am coming back to finish my beer. Once I came back the bartender threw my beer away and said I didn't have to pay for it. I said I will pay for my beer and I tipped him. Update: The owner replied and explained that she was there the entire interaction and felt the bartender was right. She also proceeded to explain that she feels there was nothing wrong with what happened. I responded: Unfortunately, regardless of your response to be, this does not alleviate the situation. Its truly ashame , again , as a owner you sat there and did not intervene. At the end of the day, I am a member of the community that was willing to spend my money at your business. This interaction was judgmental and could be presumed as racist. I will stand by my statement to say, if I looked like you or your bartender, I would not have been treated in this manner. Also, as a bartender I know if someone put something over their glass, it is an unspoken rule that the person is coming back. Your bartender took it upon himself to throw my drink away. In your response, it further proved that you and your bartender really thought I was not coming back to pay for my $5 dollar drink. At the end of the day, you lost me as a customer and more than likely future customers over you and your prejudice attitudes. I have no reason to ever skip out on a bill, especially one for $5. I have friends (non African American etc) that have been in this situation and have never been asked to leave a valuable item for a $5 dollar drink. I am pretty sure again, if I was a White professional man/woman and I ordered that $5 dollar drink, you would not have asked me to leave a valuable item. All I ask is for trust in your neighborhood and patrons that are "different". Again, this is my neighborhood, born and raised. I frequent many bars and restaurants. I come from a family that owned bars. I know what customer service is and most importantly I know what respect looks like. The way the situation happened yesterday, showed lack thereof. You should be ashamed to admit that you was the owner that sat through all of this. My voice will be heard and respected on all platforms as the power of communication is beautiful.

We sat at the bar. The bar wasn't busy. The female bartender made a conscious decision not to be attentive to us. As a former bartender, I've always treated EVERYONE with respect and kindness.

I love this bar so much!! The staff are all amazing and it's an enjoyable time every time I stop in. I should also note the backyard is amazing and the pop-up kitchen is a nice touch. They have board games and darts as well. And last but not least THE BATHROOM SMELLS AMAZING, lol it's true!

Good service and selection of drinks. Backyard area is also really nice. TVs/sound not too loud which is a welcome change from most bars. Darts, chess, and a couple board games are a nice touch.

It was St.Patty Day early evening, and i walked into this new venue hoping to have a dope experience, but on the contrary...I was ignored by the bartender as I took a seat in the back. It was not busy enough to not acknowledge us.. My friend and I thought maybe the waitress might acknowledge us... but nope she served the other people sitting directly across from us, then she proceeds to walk back towards us and stand by the bar. Never once glancing over to see us trying to glance over at her. After 5mins of being polite we left. Maybe it was the night for "us".

I'm so glad this bar is here! It's such a cool place and I'm glad it's open. Great beer selection and the bartenders are super friendly. This place is right around the corner from where I live, so I will definitely be back.

I've been to this bar several Sundays (for football games) and experienced great service. Fast drinks. Good gameday food (BBQ and Buffalos Famous). And great conversation and football talk. Overall GREAT experience. Will come back again throughout the football season for sure.

What a great location with exceptional service. The added bonus for me is that they had the rare pear cider.... sweet baby Jesus it was so good on a hot afternoon. Perfect mix of locals gathering for after work drinks. Great place for Bed Stuy to drink and be laid back in our neighborhood.
