Fun Hog Ranch

I love coming to this bar whenever I come to Vegas. Great drinks. Great prices. And great staff. I work at the Portland Eagle and being at Fun Hog Ranch feels very similar

Most masculine bar in Vegas. As much as that exists here because being gay is not a sin so gay bars are mostly for woo hoo women to make fun of men. Really enjoy the 2 for 1 drinks and beer-bust with wet iced glasses and huge mugs, if you drink. Seating is almost exclusively for gambling or groups, if that’s your thing. Gambling means cameras everywhere and people staring at screens. Love the sisters of perpetual indulgence hosting. Think it was a donation vote shirtless contest tonight, done nicely, not obscene, not offensively feminine like the bars that have dancers wear high-heals and women’s underwear and dance like women. Only those men were shirtless, only for the contest. Masculine men! Totally unexpected here. Good parking in the rear, good food truck, good service, nice visitors, cool locals, and excellent music (juke box). Least amount of perfumed women here of all the gay bars, tonight was rough though for that, suppose gays don’t invest enough in Vegas to get a place or time here. During the week, it’s almost all males. Good airflow too! For a man in Vegas this is about all there is. Not for hooking up, only for gambling, drinking, groups of woo hoo girlfriends, and eating from the food truck. Which is enough for some. My niece would love it. Certainly give it 5 stars for effort. The bar of quality is so low here. Maybe depressed from a year of living here without anything fun to do.

I stumbled into Fun Hog Ranch in Las Vegas, thinking it was just a pit stop, but boy, was I wrong – and happily so! The moment I stepped in, the classic music video bar entertainment had me grooving, and the shelled peanuts were exactly what my hungover body could handle. But I rallied, because here comes Dora, the queen of homemade Mexican food! She takes your order (talks you into ordering), then disappears like a glittery ghost to her home kitchen across the street (yes in her home), only to reappear with plates of culinary perfection. It was like dining with a dash of magic and a sprinkle of sass, truly obsessed with her. We planned for a quick drink, but time stands still in the windowless establishment, and before we knew it, four hours had vanished. We played their VLT machines and honestly 5$ each lasted us longer than any slots on the strip where we are staying (still didn’t win but 5$ for the thrill I guess) Fun Hog Ranch isn't just a gay bar; it's a sanctuary of days forgotten and laughter. Cheers to Dora (not on payroll) and the entire crew for serving up a side-splittingly hilarious and deliciously queer experience!

Came in at 4am, Scott was serving us, I was with my friend and he cut my friend off for no reason. I asked him why and he just said he was cut off. My friend didn't do anything wrong and the cameras can be reviewed.

Mike on grave shift had such a bad attitude since he walked in. Previous to that Jack was fantastic! Super fun! Deserved all tips went above and beyond 💓 ... I am very sad with the grave bartender such a bad attitude since he walked in.. . 🥺

Cool bar l, best happy hour. The waiter was really nice!

This feels more like a 1990's San Francisco bar than 2020 in Vegas! They are VERY compliant about masks and social distance. We feel very SAFE here! You can actually cruise and talk to guys, not just watch everyone on their phones. Fun art on the walls, hunky bar staff, and many special events.

Gay dive bar. I went on bear night, this was a great way to pop my bar cherry. All the patrons were really friendly and kind. Loved it.

Fun Hog Ranch looks like a Southern roadhouse in Louisiana instead of being way off of the Las Vegas Strip. It's a dive, but in a good way. Enough widescreen TV's to entertain you with music videos and sports if the bar-t is in the mood.  Lots of men who look and act blue collar although they may be professionals in "real life". In old school terminology FHR may be called a Levi cruise bar. This place may be the closest as you're going to get to a leather or Bear bar in Las Vegas.  On their website, there seems to be a "Leather Night" on the first Saturday of every month where leather, uniforms, rubber is the theme night  Anyway, it's a down home man's bar where you can come as you are. Looks like a man cave without any pretensions. Bartenders are friendly as well as many of the customers.  4 stars for what you see is what you get.  PS Be ready for acrid cigarette smoke in your eyes and on your clothes and hair.

First time here and it was super fun. It was 2-for-1 and the bartenders are on top of it so you never really wait for a drink. I think it is known as a leather bar but to me it just seemed like a bunch of people having a good time. It was great and I can see coming back again.

1st. time here and it was interesting to say the least. On my next trip, i will swing by again to get the full effect.

Love this place. Best gay joint in LV. Drink prices are great (BOGO / Happy Hour). Have met a ton of great people there. Bartenders are fast and friendly (Meatball who slings drinks there is mad hot. Unnnf) Always a great time.

I just realized every single bar and casino allows smoking out here in Vegas lol. The stench is just terrible as my sinuses have been out of control here due to the smoke. This bar is a total dive and I'm fine with that other than the smoke. 2 for 1 happy hour is awesome but the stench of smoke is just terrible. It really brings this place to its lowest level. It would help if they had an outdoor patio.

You really can't beat the deals and the bartenders have the perfect mix of eye candy and professionalism. I don't think there is food here but there is an amazing Indian restaurant next door. Indoor smoking is a plus for me, I don't smoke but it brings me back to old school bar days.

Very great atmosphere love that they have a juke box Mike was a very attentive and understanding bartender. He listens to what you like to drink and offers great recommendations. 10 out of 10.

Always a great spot just off The Strip to have drinks! Drinking is by far the number one activity here but they have TV's, Bar top gaming and a super friendly staff. I stop in almost every time in Vegas and always enjoy the great drinks, excellent price and friendly service.

I've never felt more welcome and accepted anywhere in my life than here. Will was an amazing bartender. Awesome atmosphere and place. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town! Made a Yelp just to give this place a glowing review

Lonestar meets Eagle lite. Small bar, big personality. Get your harness at the in-house leather merch shop. Come prepared for a fitting at the bar. Friendly and attentive staff pour strong drinks. Free peanuts all day, just take those shells home.

I have a great time every time I go there. People are friendly and energetic. The music keeps the energy of this place going. This is a definite hang-out for tourists and locals.

As an aficionado of all things Wild Wild West, this is a great bar, and so central to everything. I go early in the day since I'm not a gay dude and I don't want to mess up the vibe, but I love the cabin/bayou feel.

It's ok but if you want to listen to music, make sure you talk to the bartenders because they skip it if they don't like it! Such a messed up thing to do when you're paying for a service. Thankfully another nicer bar is opening up next door. Maybe now they'll do some renovations too..

So I came today. If you are not a regular you are left out waited for a drink for an hour and got ignored for the regulars but even through we were tipping good for the drinks. So you will feel left out as a outside. I played a lot on the casino machines and left was left out. So I would recommend just to order you drink at the bar and hopefully you will get served. Hopefully they can change and pay attention to the outsides and not the just the regulars.

Been awhile since I've been there but when I'm in Vegas I always go there! Divey bar but I love that. Mostly locals go there but it pulls in a crowd and everyone is friendly and the staff is attentive. It's off the beaten path but I like that. This is the only gay bar I go to in Vegas. The others are too stuffy and pretentious.

Air ventilation. They have fans but don't work. Too much smoke in the bar. Low ceilings. Sad!

This location the front hall grandpa's actually really fun to go to it's got a good atmosphere and the girls are reasonably priced we did have to wait a little bit because it was pretty open with Covid so we had to wait in to get in but it was not a long wait at all and once we got in everyone there was so friendly and I have made some good friends a service was really good so I look forward to going back again

Ive been going to fun hog for over 10 years. My friends hate the bar and I always beg and force them to go because it's my favorite in town....until tonight. I went to buy a drink, they said that they were accepting cash only. I don't carry cash with me...especially in a dodgy neighborhood. I use credit cards, and they don't usually work with ATMs. I thought I'd hang out for a minute and wait for my friends. I told them to stop and get some cash. No big deal...or so I thought... I was kicked out of the bar because I COULDN'T order anything...which was no fault of my own. If your cash machine is down...you should consider making exceptions to the rules. I was polite about the situation. What happened to the gay safe spaces? What happened to the gay community and just being polite to one another. If someone is alone on Christmas Eve in your bar, you don't kick em out. I left...and I will never go back. I spent my 33rd birthday there earlier this summer and I guess that'll be the last good memory I have at fun hog ranch. Just add to the huge pile of why the gay scene sucks in Vegas. Devastated.

I was visiting Las Vegas and wanted to check out some of the local gay bars. Fun Hog Ranch is a bit off of the Strip so be sure you have a car or have the Uber/Lyft app ready. There's plenty of parking should you drive here. Yes, this place is a little but of a dive but not sketchy. There is a central bar with some booths along the side. I came here on a Saturday evening around 10 pm and there was a good lively vibe to the place. I got a beer and then stayed for about 30 minutes. I'd say most of the people here appear to be locals or came here as group of friends. I being a lone visitor probably did not have as much fun than if I had brought a friend or two. Music was good.

a year ago One of the best bar experiences that I've had in Vegas, the bartenders are very friendly and personable with customers especially Will who does a great job of running the establishment. Also, the overall atmosphere is all inclusive and relaxed. Definitely my favorite place to unwind each week. I highly recommend this place to new locals and visitors.

I love my dive bars, and a good friend of mine and I have been talking about coming out here for ages. This past Saturday, we finally came out to the bar. She's been out here several times, but it was my first time. The bar is dark, and divey, just how I like them! Bartenders were great, and drinks were buy one get one free! SCORE! I anticipate this becoming a regular spot for us! Loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

It was fun to just re, have drinks that the bartender help me figure out what I wanted lol, laugh with friends and make new ones.

Honestly, was pretty intoxicated upon arrival to this bar. I don't remember much details, but I know I had a good time with the crowd I was with. I was drinking water at this point, but I recall them having a good beer bust deal. I've since returned, but then too is beyond my recollection. I think I might come next time in a more sober state, but then again...maybe it's perfect the way it is.

Cheap strong drinks and friendly service. Come with friends pretty often. Can be a bit too smoky at times due to being a smaller bar. Always have a good time.

This has always been my favorite place to drink in Vegas. They always have really fun Hogtenders!! Will was awesome during my visits last week. The drink prices are always amazing and they have happy hour like 16 hours a day. It was a great time and can't wait to visit again. They take covid very seriously which is great and a little annoying. lol

Without a doubt, hands down my favorite place that not only employees the best bar staff in town, but it's a guaranteed great time when your there. From Chris who will make you laugh, Bradley who will make you feel like a friend, Adam who makes sure you your presence is known, to Will, who is the the best example of bar management. These gentleman always go above and beyond and that is something you can't find on a whim.

Pretty fun hole-in-the-wall, smoke-filled bar I've been to in Vegas. And it's gay --- liiiiike, sexuality kine and personality kine --- HAPPY!!!!! If you don't mind smelling like an ashtray and enjoys the scene, cheap drinks, and just lively atmosphere than I'd say this is the spot! Close enough to the Strip and far enough from The (fruit) Loop to feel like an average Vegas bar. Bartenders are always fun and cute. Patrons are the same. And the lighting is better than most places at The Loop, which I appreciate.

I love this bar!! , they have such great deals. Our bartender Nick was amazing and we had such a great time !! he was a super fun time and especially the other bartender who I can't remember his name but he was great too. But unfortunately I completely forgot to tip Nick the bartender :( he had helped us so much!!! and we felt like sh!t but I just want to say this bar is awesome and I love coming here anytime I visit Vegas. Thank you Nick and other staff so much . If I ever find cash app or zelle I'm sending tips and then some

FHR is my happy place. Not only because of the alcohol...it's the people inside. The bartenders and customers are family ,and each time someone walks in, our family gets bigger. If you enjoy being surrounded by good people, great conversation and amazing staff... FHR is the place to be. Prices are extremely reasonable, but the experience is priceless. Come see for yourself!

I've been coming to the Fun Hug Ranch for 2 decades. Never again. I took an Uber from the strip last night (8/22/22 - 11:45pm) and ordered a vodka rocks. The bartender asked me if I knew how to play the built-in gambling games on the bar. I said no. He told me to put in a $20, play $1, then I would get the $19 back and my first drink would be free for gambling. I did what was told. When I went to make a move on the screen, it said that I had no money in there. The player/bet lights weren't even up. I called the bartender over and he said "yeah, you must've played it all". But here's the gotcha, I never pressed a single button on the screen because I did not know how to play it. They unapologetically hustled me out of $20. I'm assuming because there were only 4 customers. The bare tender placed blame on my, so I paid for my drink and left. $20 in unrest, $20 hustled by the bar and 5.50 for a drink. Don't trust the bartenders at the Fun Hog Ranch was an expensive lesson to learn.

A little hole in the wall bar. The bar tenders and staff are really nice The have good drink deals once a month they hold a fun Raiser Raffle and the place is packed on Friday & Saturday nights. The Manager work's very hard one of the best bars I've been too

Fun bar tucked off Twain close to the Strip. The neighborhood is NOT good so use common safety sense but there is plenty of parking onsite. Great drink specials, music videos and theme nights. Most of the staff are very engaging and friendly from your first encounter of ordering. A few are more business like with no smile and just the order/pay. Cash only bar. It's not fancy, but folks are friendly over all. More mature and bears but everyone welcome. For a fun, no attitude evening, with great drinks and service it's worth a visit. Their large road sign isn't well lite so look carefully from the road or you might miss it. Also Twain St becomes Sands if you are trying to find it from the Strip direction.

So even though I am straight , this place always makes me feel at home. Bradley is the best bartender !!! He always gives the most amazing service and is so sweet. He literally is the reason we continue to come!! The atmosphere is amazing and they really make you feel at home. IF YOU COME ASK FOR BRAD!!!

I always have a great time at this bar when I visit vegas! strong drinks for a very cheap price and the people there are very friendly. The bar tenders also give free water bottles! which is amazing since a lot of places would charge $3 for one. All in all one of the best bars in Vegas

The Hog, as I like to call it, is the perfect spot for a cheap, non-pretentious cocktail. At its heart the Hog is a gay bar, but it's so welcoming that you'll find a nice mix of people inside. Be sure to try the infamous Trash Can ($10 at this point in time) which is essentially a high octane 24oz AMF complete with a full can of Red Bull. Perfect thing to kick off a night of debauchery. They also do 2 for 1 drinks daily (exact times vary). My only beef with the place is that you'll come out smelling like an ashtray even if you're in there 5 minutes. But that's Vegas for ya.

This place is dive bar in the most perfect form. Cheap, Strong drinks, cool bartenders, happy customers. I seriously love this place. I always have a great time whenever I end up here. Brand new music player (it's way too modern to be called a juke box) and it doubles as a photo booth that will send or upload your photos directly. Great idea! This is my absolute favorite gay bar in town. Everyone is always so friendly. Drinks are strong (No credit card machine, so bring cash) but not expensive. Excellent Staff. Even though Andrew doesn't work here anymore the other bartenders are awesome. Josh barely looks old enough to be in the bar, but he is such a delight. Never without a smile on his face. Gary is the hot, bearded one that makes an excellent drink. I just love this place!

Wow the size of the drinks here are dangerous!!! Big drinks and big pours of alcohol, this is a great stop on the dive bar list. I was not concerned that it is a gay bar. The staff and clientele were very welcoming. They run multiple specials including 16 hour happy hour, trivia night, drink specials on the off 8 hours and more. You will need to Uber home from here. Great trendy music on the juke box playing, interesting male/ female shared bathroom to throw you off guard. An all around great place!

I had to check this place out, seeing as how it was within walking distance of Firefly, and it's called Funhog Ranch!!! I mean, how can I go to Vegas without telling people I've been to the Funhog Ranch??!! It sounds so dirty and the logo is of a gay cowboy riding a pig!! You can't get much better than that! This is a good local, after work, gay bar (which in Vegas means slightly divey). It looks like crap on the outside, but on the inside it's basically a rec room from the 60's (reminds me of the old R Place in Seattle when it was on Pike street). Lots of wood (lol!). I mean wood paneling. Sheesh. The monitors over the bar seem to play softcore porn and commercial television at the same time. When I was there they were showing highlights from the International Mr. Leather whatever bullshit (eww!) on one monitor and a home improvement show on the other! The bartenders/servers were friendly. Jukebox leaved a lot to be desired. All-in-all a good place to hang out.

Fun place for events but very Smokey inside, if you smoke and your in the bar you usually don't need a cigarette! Even though smoking is allowed inside it would be nice if smokers as myself go outside to smoke. It would make it more enjoyable

The Fun Hog by far is the best locals gay bar by far. Will, the Manager, and his staff are the friendliest and kindest guys around. They actually look out for their patrons and care about their customers. Well done guys! We love u!

Maybe I went in on a Monday so traffic is little light.... I love bears... where are the bears at??? Hahahaha
