What a very chill and amazing club! About 90% of the people were dancing the whole time which was really refreshing and the beers were not crazy expensive. The inexpensive beers were about 60 pesos and Thursdays they open at 10:30 and it’s free from 1030 until 11 which was the time that we went as well as a lot of other people. After 11 PM, not too many people came in as it seems like that’s the free night to get in, but it still really Good vibes! Clean bathroom and I felt very safe

So good, friendly staff, small venue, unpretentious crowd, great DJs, ok prices. Will come back every time I'm in CDMX.

Great sound system and hard beats on a Thursday night. Bouncers are very thorough with their search but we were not pressured to do bottle service. Drinks were reasonably priced - and amazing local DJs.

World-class techno for 500 pesos. Expensive but worth the price. Saturday night Feb 16, 2025: I've seen a lot of techno in North America, and Funk is legit. The staff is competent but kind, making you feel safe throughout the event. Cigarettes and other contraband are confiscated at the door, but they are stored and returned to you when you leave. The venue is the perfect size, small enough to feel intimate but big enough to not be too cramped. There was a full audience of cool energetic people; people weren't constantly taking videos on their phones which was refreshing. Insane sound system, a very well-ventilated space, and a mesmerizing light show. The nights go till late too, everyone was super energetic at 3 am.

This place knows how to throw great events. If you’re looking for a house or techno dance floor in CDMX this is it. 10/10

Fünk has a cool vibe and the music was solid—definitely a fun spot if you’re looking for a trendy night out in CDMX. The crowd was good and the atmosphere had potential, but a few things took away from the experience. Entry and drinks were very expensive, even by club standards. The place was so dark we had to use a flashlight to read the menu, and the bathroom was overwhelming—strong smell and intense lighting effects that felt like a sensory overload. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re sensitive to flashing lights or have epilepsy. Overall, fun for the aesthetic and music, but a few details made it hard to fully enjoy.

Awful place, do not go there. We got charged 500 pesos per person (including the Mexican people who were with us), were told we can’t go in with hats( we saw many locals inside wearing hats), the Mexican friends who took our hats back to the booth saw other people get charged ONLY 100 pesos to get in ( in shock they asked us how much we paid and we ashamedly told them that we also paid 1000 pesos for 2 people). We were also stolen all our vapes away and were told by security that we can have them back if we paid a FAT tip on our way out. Then I got charged 840 pesos for 3 SHOTS while our Mexican friend got 2 cocktails right after for 290 pesos . Awful place, don’t go there. Can’t wait for AMEX to refund me all these BS charges by this awful place. Oh, and one of the workers tried to get my boyfriend kicked out for telling him to go behind our group on the dancefloor m instead of pushing through the middle of our 4 people group. It got resolved by one of our friends who is from Mexico and speaks perfect Spanish, but it just added to the awful experience. DO NOT GO!!

This club was a huge surprise to me. The venue, the sound system (Funktion-One!), the lighting situation, and the quality of the techno sets were amazing. The crowd was amazing, and I also felt safe as a queer person. The staff was also polite and helpful. The only this that bothered me was the focus on tipping everyone constantly. Other than that, great club, recommended!
