Best Coffee Spot in Town! If you're looking for the perfect place to enjoy a quick coffee break or get some work done, this spot is unbeatable. The coffee is rich, smooth, and expertly brewed—truly the best in town! The ambiance is just as impressive, with stylish decor inside the Virgin Hotel that creates a cozy yet sophisticated vibe. Whether you're tackling homework or just need a quiet getaway, this place has it all. Plus, the stunning views make the experience even better. Highly recommend!"

Ordered a large cappuccino to go—super tasty. The seating area is cozy, and the place has a great design and vibe.

Got a caramel latte and it was very good, the coffee wasn’t too bitter. The girls working were so friendly. The space is really cute and has a good vibe.

This is the Virgin Hotel's coffee shop. There was a long line on a Thursday morning, probably because Dunkin' Donuts was closed. Service wasn't that great either but I can understand since they were slammed. However, once you order, your drink comes out quickly. I got a large chai latte ($7) with oat milk ($1) which tasted okay & was light on the coffee. The cup was half-way filled with ice too so you don't get much liquid.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A hidden gem with espresso and eccentricity. The Funny Library Coffee Shop, tucked inside the vibrant Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, is a perfect blend of cozy, quirky, and caffeinated. It’s like stepping into a Wes Anderson film set—plush velvet seating, cheeky books, and a vibe that’s both intellectual and playful. Whether you’re a wandering writer, a sleepy concertgoer, or just someone looking for a soul-soothing latte, this spot delivers. I stumbled in here the morning after an unforgettable night at the Virgin, where Pepper lit up the stage with that island-punk energy only they can bring. My ears were still humming when I found myself sipping a rich cappuccino under a chandelier made of books. It was the perfect wind-down. The baristas were warm and thoughtful, and the pastries? Dangerously good. There’s something magical about this place. It’s not just a coffee shop—it’s a creative sanctuary. The Funny Library has become my go-to for post-show recovery and pre-adventure plotting. Highly recommend dropping by if you’re in Vegas for a show, or even just in need of a little laugh with your latte.

Very cute place. Very good customer service and very hood drinks. We tried a few things but of course I went with my go to. Vanilla Chai Oatmilk Latte the Madeline’s are very fresh, so are the danishes. Will definitely return

I like this place! Super convenient if you're staying at the hotel and their hot vanilla latte was tasty. Wish they stayed open longer though.

With a name like "Funny Library" I expected a little "comedy"? The name instead means "funny" like "different" or "unusual". It's quite a hike from the main entrance. They were out of matcha (disappointing but okay it happens). The soundtrack is a bit too loud and upbeat to read a book, but I'll try. It is better than the Dunkin Donuts (inside the hotel) on passed on my long walk here? Yes. Maybe "desert coffee shop" is a better name given the decor? I honestly expected a bunch of books by or about comedians. Nary a book in sight, just the one I brought with me.

Yelp
Funny Library Coffee Shop is located in a corner near the Opal Tower elevator in the Virgin Hotel. I was staying at the Virgin Hotel and it was the closest place to grab a coffee to my hotel room. Overall, the Funny Library Coffee Shop has a cool enough ambiance for what it is, which is a place to grab a coffee and/or something to eat fir breakfast. I just grabbed a large coffee, which was, I believe, four dollars. The server was friendly enough, but he seemed more interested in his conversation with a co-worker, but not rude or anything. The coffee was decent and had a decent enough price point (especially considering that it is Las Vegas). All in all, if you are staying in the Opal Tower part of the Virgin Hotel and need a cup of coffee, this is a good place to head towards.

Yelp
Absolutely overpriced mediocre coffee shop inside Virgin Hotel Las Vegas. Service was friendly and their drink was decent, but the food was just okay (tried multiple items) and ridiculously priced. I just wanted to use my credit that I get as a Diamond member for Hilton, and rhis place was one of the few places that I can redeem my credit. The hotel ended up charging me extra from this place (not sure if it was the hotel's mistake or the coffee shop).

Yelp
This is like a speakeasy coffee shop and I'm all for it. Tucked away in the far back corner of the Virgin Hotel, you'll pass by a Dunkin Donuts along the way but keep walking and have patience you're about to encounter some way better coffee! I just got a drip black coffee because that's how I roll. It was rich and bold. They have some interesting concoctions like a rose latte and lavender infused coffees which I would totally go back and try. Design wise this is a cute, modern hipster type nook that looks like something you'd find in Manhattan. Minimalist and just a generally cool vibe. The prices are reasonable too -- not cheap like Dunkin Donuts but not as crazy as one might expect for such a rad spot.

Yelp
Coffee was good however food prices is way too high a breakfast sandwich bacon and egg on a whole wheat English muffin cost $13 better off going to McDonald's for that price. Customer service was great. Cute coffee shop

Yelp
Horrible. Ordered their featured drink, the "candy bar latte". The photo had chocolate and caramel drizzles and candy bar pieces but when I got it, it's just a latte with whipped cream and minimal caramel drizzle. The barista say they "don't have to necessarily look the same as the advertisement as long as it tastes the same". That sounds like false advertisement AND it does NOT taste like candy bar at all.

Yelp
We came to Funny Library for coffee the morning of Father's Day 23. This place is located on the back side of the Virgin Hotel next to a tower of rooms. This place is a walk up and go type of place. Who I need to recognize is Rachelle, this place has a line that doesn't stop. Rachelle literally was running of a system of taking your order, payment, making your drink, and lightning fast. That's a lot of pressure for 1 person. She's a true pro. Doing it all with kindness & professionalism. Very impressed with Rachelle and how good she is at her job.

Yelp
Good coffee. Got an iced white chocolate, caramel & vanilla latte. They have blended drinks too

Yelp
I was excited to try this place when I walked by it on my way to my room. Unfortunately I was disappointed. First off the menu was bare bones. I wouldn't have known what kind of lattes they had because all it says was "Latte" on the menu. I peeked on the side to see what flavored syrups they had and I got an iced lavender latte. And I got a chai latte for my bf. The cashier was extremely rude to the person in front of me and had a bad attitude overall. When my order was taken, she looked absolutely miserable. I get if you don't like this job but you're in customer service, you should at least try. I will say this coffee shop matches the cute and eclectic decor of this hotel and it does look nice. But it was a disappointment overall.

Yelp
All good! Great tasting espresso and good service. A little bit of a walk but do it. Take your time with good coffee!

Yelp
Got an iced maple latte with almond milk and a cinnamon bar. The staff was super helpful and the setting is cute. It's also really lovely that it's in the same hotel I'm staying in. After a LATE night in Vegas, I got my caffeine fix !

Yelp
December monthly special is my favorite drink - Peppermint Mocha. I ordered it and a ham cheese croissant to take back to our room. We are staying in the Ruby Tower here at the Virgin Hotel in Vegas and this place is on the other side of the property. However it was well worth the morning walk through the hotel. The croissant was delicious and I loved the drink. I'll definitely be back before we check out.

Yelp
My only downside comment to this place is the prices are ridiculously high. Case in point I bought a coffee and a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and a bottle of water. $24. To put this into perspective I could have had room service eggs, bacon toast delivered for $19. The breakfast sandwich was good. The coffee was very good.
google avatar

Ronesha J.

Yelp
I stay at the virgin hotel at least once a month. I typically stay in the Ruby tower so it is more convenient for me to visit Dunkin'. Today, I decided that I wanted to try this location. It is a short walk, located near the Opal tower. One star because the set up is absolutely beautiful with lots of comfortable seating if you'd like to sit and read or work on your laptop while enjoying your treat. Second star because my iced chai latte was wonderful and refreshing. It wasn't too sweet and had just the right blend of sweet and sultry. Sometimes Chai can be super spicy. Also the value for the money is decent. I feel like their items are reasonably priced for what you get. I cannot give any stars for customer service. When I approached around 11a there was literally only one other person being served. The cashier was extremely rude. I initially asked if they had a decaf iced coffee. She said no and then I asked what they had in decaf. Her body language/tone and overall demeanor was as if I was bothering her by asking questions. She did not greet me and she didn't not thank me after I paid for my order. Next the barista was calling out orders. Rather than place them in a way that would be easy for guests to grab I had to shuffle through (and touch) other guests drinks to get my own. Lastly, they literally had no pastries available. At all. There were two muffins. I understand that they close at 1, however with such a basic menu I think they should have more things in stock. Overall the employees don't seem like they really want to be at work and I will not visit again based on the customer service. If you enjoy chai iced tea and can get past the horrible customer service, this is your place!

Yelp
This is a cute little cafe inside Virgin Hotel, near the Opal Tower and Paradise Parking Garage. It's actually kind of cozy and if I lived closer to Virgin Hotel, I'd be here a lot more. Prices are a bit high, but not that bad considering it's in the middle of a hotel. There are a couple of smaller tables near the counter, and there's a large standing desk in the hallway, which outlets, for those who need a quick recharge with their breakfast. I ordered a chocolate croissant and a matcha latte. Both were decent, although the texture of the chocolate croissant was definitely not like most croissants I've tried. Knowing that this cafe is in Virgin Hotel definitely makes me want to stay here if I need a staycation.

Yelp
Great aesthetics, but not so great coffee. I ordered cappuccino and it was basically a latte. No foam on the top. That means a lot about the coffee shop..
google avatar

Yelp
While staying at the Virgin Hotel, we stopped by both mornings and both times we enjoyed it. The coffee is great and so is the breakfast food they offer. Great quick coffee shop. All staff was very nice and accommodating. I loved the decor and how inviting it was.

Yelp
Really cute decor but unfortunately, the unhappy and grumpy employees really put a downer on the entire experience. My husband and I went hoping to enjoy a cup of coffee and were very rudely turned away by the employee. Fine, we get it. She was the shift closer at 1 o'clock. When we asked if we could buy the already prepped refrigerated items, she rudely rejected our request also. A simple no, sorry would've sufficed but she was clearly having the worst day ever and letting it out on the patrons. Total jerk.
google avatar

Frances L.

Yelp
If you want a cup of coffee better than DDonut This the other option that serve legit artisan coffee. It is good and does the job but I feel like it is a bit overpriced as I'm stranded in the hotel and there is always only one barista. Don't expect much customer service. All other snack items are seriously.... Don't bother. Go across to CVS and top up.

Yelp
I usually come to play at this casino in the late evenings, but I pass this hallway and always wonder how the coffee shop is. I managed to get to the casino early enough today to actually stop in. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit today. I brought my cousin and my son. My cousin had an iced white mocha latte, I got a sort of sort of iced caramel latte (I told Evelyn I like strong but also sweet, so she just rolled with that), and a breakfast burrito which was pretty big! My son ended up saying the burrito was spicy. Ooopsie, mom fail. I think there was chorizo in there smh. So I went back to order a sausage muffin which was a hit with my boy. It's such a cute shop to work in, hang with friends, or go on a casual date. For my first stay, we had a great first impression. Also, thanks to Evelyn for making it a memorable visit. We'll be back to enjoy the rest of the menu. Someone ordered a matcha latte and I instantly wanted one.
google avatar

Karina N.

Yelp
I really had my hopes up for this place. They have matcha listed on their menu but didn't have any on hand the entire three days I was there. It was kind of a bummer. It is a really nice space inside the Virgin hotel so the decor was spot on. The Chai was good and the regular latte was good too. They didn't have mocha either :(

Yelp
I had a 5 hour layover in Vegas and didn't feel like staying in the airport. Headed to Funny Library after seeing it was the closest coffee shop that was open and had seating. Located in the new Virgin Hotel, it's tucked away towards the inner towers of the resort, but once greeted by the pink and succulent themed lounging area, I say it's definitely worth the walk! The coffee and the pastry selection there check all the boxes for anyone's morning pick-me-up. The cold brew I ordered was smooth and refreshing, and I really dug their carrot cake (all their cakes look cute tbh need to try all of them eventually). Added bonus: outlets and free public wifi and restrooms. Kinda what you'd expect since it's in the resort but handy to mention.

Yelp
Although Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has chosen to embrace a sterile, anytown-USA aesthetic at prices akin to Wynn, Funny Library Coffee Shop offers guests an enjoyable atmosphere paired with Beverages, Sandwiches and Pastries from Executive Pastry Chef Mickey Harden. Located far from Casino games and smoke, the idea of a communal workspace brought about by plenty of space plus abundant electrical outlets, it is via variety of seating options that patrons are allowed room to relax, the overhead soundtrack differing from elsewhere in Virgin Hotel though the volume is several decibels higher than the "Library" theme suggests. Rebranded from Fuel Café, a hidden gem at Hard Rock that also featured Chef Harden's work, prepare to be enticed by everything from Viennoiserie to Cookies, Buns and Entremets, Virgin's lip-shaped Chocolate Raspberry Mousse already something of a signature while the deconstructed "German Chocolate" bar is a masterwork of both texture and taste. Less sold on a room-temperature Gruyere Danish, not to mention the fact that none of Funny Library's Pastries are labeled with prices (and nor does the receipt itemize them,) do instead consider chewy Lemon Crinkle Cookies or the same luscious Salted Butterscotch Pudding sold at The Kitchen at Commons Club, here in a jar.

Yelp
I have to start out with saying how beautiful this space is for its customers!!! If you want a witty and beautiful place to study, this is the place to be before it blows up. They have ample areas to study with outlets. They offer a variety of pastries, salads, wraps, etc. I enjoy their simple menu. Please note they are still new, so hours of operation have not normalized yet. Drinks (4/5) We tried their almond frappe and cold pressed orange juice. The frappe was simple and I believe they use a quality espresso. I would say that you should explore their bottled juices/drinks. The cold press juice was expensive ($10), but they are expensive everywhere. Food (4.5/5) We had the chocolate croissant and it was excellent. Crunchy, chocolatey, and crispy. They have a really great selection of fridge items as well. Service (5/5) The staff are so polite. They don't force you to leave if you are still working in dining area. They are extremely clean at this hotel/casino overall. Ambience (5+/5) Modern desert chic. Cactus, cute chairs, and colors surround you. The music is amazing too. I have asked Siri to name dozens of their songs to add to my playlist. I love this place and hope it remains the quite gem that it is today!
google avatar

Sid B.

Yelp
I got coffee here three times and two out of the three times the latte was great and the milk was textured properly. The third time was done by someone who apparently didn't know how to texture the milk right (to create micro foam) and it came out more like a Starbucks latte. Given that it's a coffee shop in a casino I actually think that's pretty good odds. Also their food is really good, so if you're not a latte snob like me who drinks straight lattes with no syrup, this place is 100% a good decision.
google avatar

Rochelle S.

Yelp
The coffee was great but....it's 2022 and they don't know if any of their items are gluten free. It's pretty common to need gluten free and when it was the hard rock they had gluten free pastries for 10 plus years. To not be able to get a quick breakfast as a gluten free person is insane I can find more options off strip and in small towns I visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic Gouda Swirl. Warm and melt in your mouth pastry. That, paired with an oat milk latte, I'd the perfect breakfast. The team members were always friendly, even super early in the morning. Will miss this stop for breakfast.

Yelp
This is a small, trendy, and cute coffee shop located inside of the newly remodeled Virgin Curio hotel in Las Vegas. The coffee shop is located in the Opal tower, which is the one farthest away from the entrance and the casinos. So it is not very convenient if you just want to drive in for a quick coffee. However, if you have time to linger or want to work from here, then I would recommend it. The actual coffee shop is super cute and trendy. A lovely place to sip your coffee. Also, the hotel grounds right outside of the coffee shop have some nice seating areas. Parking is also free in the hotel parking lot. There was an attractive selection of cakes, healthy-looking bars, muffins, etc plus an OK selection of coffees, for example I did not see a Mocha, which is pretty standard on coffee shop menus, or flavored lattes. I tried the croissant and a pre-packaged fruit container, and these items were ok, nothing spectacular. If I was here again, I would instead try something else. Prices are a bit higher than Starbucks, but then again you are inside of a Las Vegas hotel. Serice was polite and friendly although a bit slow.

Yelp
Great coffee choices. Get there early they close at 1. You will miss the greatness if you sleep all day

Yelp
Loved their coffee! It was perfect in every way first of all it actually tasted like GOOD coffee if you know what I mean. The caramel was delicious and she was so fassst! She was by herself belong a line of like 20 it was crazy they deserve a raise their Peanut Butter and Jelly Bar and croissants were delicious! Oh and try the Sausage Egg and Gouda Cheese Sandwich

Yelp
staffs were so kind and nice., coffee and their pastries were so fresh and tasty. it's great this hotel has beautiful cafe for costumer. loved interior too.! nice play to relax

Yelp
I just called your business and was treated extremely poorly by one of your female employees. I just had a simple question and she told me that you were too busy and I could call back later and then hung up on me. That is completely unprofessional and if that's the kind of staff that you employ then I do not want to be a patron of your establishment. I really hope that management takes this into consideration and you give your employees some training on how to treat people with respect. Based on a true fact of the disrespect that I experienced I wish I could give you zero stars
google avatar

Delorean T.

Yelp
I have never heard of funny library before because vegas was lacking, but as soon as I realized there was a cool new coffee shop inside the virgin hotel, I RAN over! Of course this is your standard coffee shop with normal standard fare. What made me impressed was the quality of the fresh brew coffee that they serve. I am somewhat of a self-proclaimed coffee nerd, but I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was overall pretty balanced with notes of milk chocolate. I actually did not end up needing any cream which is always a good sign. I would recommend coming here if you're staying on the strip and you don't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on coffee. It isn't by any means the best coffee shop I've been to on the strip but then again the best coffee is off the strip anyways. Huge shout out to the employee working because she was A. alone and B swamped. There was a crazy amount of traffic and she handled it with grace. Kudos!!

Dario J.

Yelp
Fast service, short lines, good food options for a quick breakfast bite or a nice coffee. Shorter line than the Dunkin at the property (it's located inside the Virgin Hotel) Oh - and pretty reasonable prices for an on property casino place. Worth a morning stop!
google avatar

Pea C.

Yelp
Delicious and fresh brewed lattes. They have dairy free options. The staff were really nice and Alvin was the one who made my coconut latte, $12 for a large iced.
google avatar

Mi S.

Yelp
This places always had good beverages. They tend to be on the pricier side. But they are worth it. The ambiance is great. I think that's why it's worth hanging out here.

Tim S.

Yelp
Friendly. Efficient. Cute little spot. The breakfast burrito was tender and not dried out. Would allow reusing a personal mug to be more environmentally conscious and better insulated. This was very much in contrast to sterile Dunkin Donuts, down the hallway where the croissant bacon sandwich was slimy and the employees were also not as engaged with their customers.

Matt S.

Yelp
The danish was okay, but we threw our coffee away. The espresso in the latte was stale and burnt and waaayyy too much syrup. Tasted like it came from a gas station. The drip coffee was also generic and stale Farmers Brothers beans. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Renee V.

Yelp
Never open on time or closed for many reasons. Open up at 5am for the guest who are ready to start their day! Also for flights leaving in the morning! Ugh......,
