Coffee taste and presentation does not match very pricey menu. Pinteresty, soulless interior decor.

Fun new coffee shop in the neighborhood. Quirky atmosphere with hilarious books, ample seating, and friendly service. Located inside the new Virgin Hotel on 4th and Folsom. Serving a variety of coffee drinks. Currently no cold brew, hut they assured me it would be available in the near future.

Why do people in San Francisco leave reviews saying $5 for a cup of coffee is expensive? This isn’t 1999, and coffee workers get paid $15/hour to make your latte. Have you ever paid a service worker that much hourly to run a coffee shop? No, didn’t think so. The people who left sullen reviews are probably also the types that don’t tip for their five dollar lattes and answer the barista’s initial question of “hello how are you” with “oat milk latte to go”. Ignorance. Shop is great, cute, and friendly vibe. Good beans.

Really nice atmosphere but pretty horrible coffee and way too expensive.

12 dollars for 2 cups of coffee that were a lot closer to 2 cups of steamed milk.

Really poor quality espresso drinks.

Loved the cozy vibe!

Yelp
The coffee was nothing crazy but the interior was very cute! Love the cozy vibes and we hung around there for a bit and played the table topics games. It's a nice spot and service was good, there was just one barista and she was nice! I wish there were more various types of lattes instead of just adding a flavor to it. I got the latte with cinnamon, and it was just alright.

Yelp
We stopped by this place for breakfast one morning during the Dreamforce event. The place was crowded (likely due to the event) and therefore service was a little slow. I ordered a Latte and a Bacon & Egg breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was very small .....for how much it cost it seemed a little out of proportion. The sandwich was fine, but nothing special. If I am being honest, this is not the pace to come for food....but the latte was nice and tasty treat. The actual place was small and woudl be a great place for one to hang out and drink coffee at a less busy time.

Yelp
The only thing break bar has going is the ambiance. The coffee ended up being a one sip, then tossed.

Yelp
Stopped by here Sunday morning and got a vanilla latte and bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Latte was good but I was kind of disappointed by the sandwich. It was premade and came out of a plastic wrapped bag and heated up in the toaster. Was not freshly made and also pretty small for $8. The employee working was nice but I could tell she was overwhelmed. It was only her working so she had to work the register, make drinks and food all by herself. Please hire more staff so your employees are not so stressed!! There was a long line and orders were taking awhile to come out. This inside of the cafe is cute, decent amount of seating and books/games available to play. This cafe is located inside a hotel so it's convenient for people who are staying here. I don't think I'd return but glad I tried it out!

Yelp
So it's not technically a small business coffee shop by the way - owned by and attached to a Hilton hotel. That being said, the coffee and espresso is good and there's a great selection of beverages. Average baked goods and mini quiches.

Yelp
My espresso was good. The baileys latte my wife ordered, she wasn't a fan of it, she didn't finish it. My son got an $8.00 cranberry juice which was outrageous for a 16 ounce or so cranberry juice. We ordered food, which we thought was going to be made. It was premade food in wrappers that was just tossed in the microwave. Service was good. She was quick for being by herself. The store itself was cool, books and stuff as its decor. I don't think we'd eat here again.

Yelp
This coffee shop is located directly below the hotel. There's plenty of books and board games available for customers, which I thought was a nice touch and feature for customers. Their cold brew was pretty standard and perfect for a hot or 70+ degrees SF day. I also enjoyed their breakfast sandwich. I had the sausage, egg and cheese. The perfect pick you up as you check out of the hotel. My only gripe was timing. Not too sure if they are equipped to make everything on their menu under 15 minutes. It took quite a while to make the breakfast sandwich. Other than someone sitting down (who had already gotten their coffee) I was the only person in the shop. There were also two people working there, so you would think with the 2:1 employee:customer ratio, the service would be a lot quicker.

Yelp
Very cute spot, nice decor, good energy. Strong coffee flavor and friendly barista! Nice place to do work and relax.

Yelp
I went here in the morning to get a drink and I LOVE this place! The barista was super nice when I asked her for recommendations. There's also a lot of seating, with a longer table and smaller tables with pillows for getting coffee with a friend. There are also OUTLETS everywhere which is so convenient for studying or doing work in general. I love the natural lighting and options for seating. A cafe gem!

Yelp
My group and I each ordered separately and each order they forgot to make one of our items. We kindly went up and checked in on all of our missing items and they accused us of lying, to which they were able to easily locate the receipts that list each item charged and realized they were wrong. No apologies and lack luster customer service for a Sunday afternoon. Go somewhere else for hospitality

Yelp
Cute café attached to the hotel we are staying at. We went here our first morning for breakfast. The food is tasty and made to order. I really liked my Decaf Latte with Almond Milk and a shot of Dark Chocolate. I went back the next morning and the girl remembered my order, which was nice. There's lots of books and games for customers to use while there.

Yelp
Located in the former Funny Library Coffee shop, Bean Bar Café is the new coffee shop at the Canopy by Hilton. Their cold brew is fantastic. The barista didn't know where it's from, so I'll report back later - but it seems to come premade from a third party vendor. They have both regular cold brew and nitro available. Main downside is fairly high prices, even for SF - my cold brew was $6. I live nearby, so I'm excited to have a new coffee shop. See menu photo, attached.

Yelp
What a modern artistic little coffee or lunch spot just inside the Canopy Hilton. Didn't have a ton of lunch choices. I decided a Chicken Sandwich over the salmon sandwich or BLT. The French fries were hot and perfect and I really enjoyed the food. Server was very nice and I'm sure I'll try the coffee or Latte in a few hours. Great design with the seating and bookshelves.

Yelp
They claim to have fresh squeezed Orange Juice but it's not fresh squeezed. Small detail but really matters if that's why you chose to come to them. Cappuccino was eh. This spot is mid.

Yelp
Sabrina-you will be missed! She was an excellent barista that worked there. We had the pleasure of meeting her during our stay at the Canopy Hotel. She remembered our drink orders and was excellently training new staff members while making our beverages 5 mornings in a row. The food menu has changed from the previous reviews. It's more of a grab and go place. They have a few breakfast sandwiches and quiches on the menu, otherwise its bagels/pastry's etc. We always got Latte's and they were perfectly made to order.

Yelp
Cute place that is close to Yuerba Buena gardens. No one was working counter for several.minutes so I left.

Yelp
Good service and prices. it's a nice spot to stop for coffee. have yet to try food here.

Yelp
I really loved their latte with almond milk and dark chocolate. Great coffee! I find that most small coffee shops have OK coffee but this one was memorable. Good place for studying/working, they have lots of outlets and seating. Front counter staff were all super friendly.

Rachel P.

Yelp
Nice and cozy spot away from all the noise with great service and friendly people. Great place to relax and chill.
